Call a webservice in abap from an old system (sap_basis 620)

2 - I tried to manage the authentication via abap code: before the call to RECEIVE, I simply inserted this few lines of code:
HTTP_CLIENT->PROPERTYTYPE_LOGON_POPUP = HTTP_CLIENT->CO_DISABLED.
CALL METHOD HTTP_CLIENT->AUTHENTICATE
    EXPORTING
      PROXY_AUTHENTICATION = ' '
      USERNAME             = 'username'
      PASSWORD             = 'password'.
where username and password are obviously the ones that leads to a positive authentication via web browser. Again, I get in output an error 401 Unauthorized due probably to a login procedure error.
Can anyone help me with this task? Thanks in advance
EDIT: sorry for the double post, I wasn't able to get a decent text output in a single message so I had to split the original message in two..

Hi Matteo,
I had faced a similar issue when I tried to consume a external web-service from SAP(4.7 with WAS 6.20). But, there was a difference that, there were no authentication required while accessing from a browser, as you have mentioned. So, my solution probably won't work in your case.
Anyways I thought, I should share it. I solved the issue by changing the HTTP proxy settings in transaction SICF(Goto-->Http Proxy). In my case actually I solved the issue by removing the Http proxy settings completely(direct connection). For you I think, you have to probably use the USERID/PASSWORD for the Http proxy.
I may be wrong, just check it out.

  • How do I install all my old programs and data from an old system folder after I have reinstalled the same OSX system after a crash?

The system is OSX10.5.8 Leopard on a 2009 imac. A new system was installed from the installation disks and the original system saved to a folder.
I need to use my Adobe programs, rescue my email, i-tunes and iphoto data.  The disk utility indicates that my Time Machine back-up disk is damaged and I don't want to take a risk of having Time Machine erase my hard drive and try to reinstall the exact system existing at the time of the crash.  There was over 650 gb of stored files that I was copying and removing from the drive at the time it crashed. The total size of the original system file is still about 650 Gb.
I would prefer to go back in Time Machine and only rescue the programs as most of the files have been copied to external hard drives, but I can't access the back-up hard drive from the new version of the Time Machine.  Or by I don't want the Time Mchine to start copying the new operating system which would include all the data in the old system file. Time Machine was working fine at the time of the crash.

No, the disk was backed up with time machine a few hours prior to the crash.  I was unable to open the computer when I tried to restart it- got a grey screen with the spinning disk- after a few minutes the screen would go black and would reboot continuously, but not load any images or programs. I started the computer from the 10.5.4 installation disks and checked both the time machine external hard drive and the Imac internal drive with the disk utilities. Both showed as damaged --the internal drive and permissions were repaired, but the external drive (time machine back-up)  was damaged and not repairable by disk utilities. I don't believe that the external drive for Time Machine was connected to the computer at the time of the crash as I was copying files to a different hard drive drive. And I was not having any problems with the TM back-up drive prior to the crash.
I accessed the Imac internal disk by firewire (as a target disk) and copied as many data files as I had room for on my external hard drives available.  And I deleted quite a few files from the imac internal drive (mostly just jpegs, duplicate tifs, etc--nothing that was used by i-photos, i-tunes or the Mail program).
Then I installed a new OSX10.5.4 system from the installation disk and the old system was moved to a folder on the hard drive.  I previousy had had the option to reinstall the complete system from Time Machine when I connected that drive and booted with the installation disks with the C key depressed.  But it didn't seem like a good option because I was unsure of the condition of that external disk and whether it would be able to reinstall my data correctly, once it had erased my internal hard drive.
I'm considering buying some new external hard drives and backing up the present system to time Machine (so I'll still have my old data in the old system folder).  And then I would try using the old Time Machine back-up to try to reinstall the sytem previous to the crash.  That back-up would reinstall about 700gb of data and operating software and programs which sounds like a lengthy back-up.  Since I have never used Time Machine to do a full reinstallation (I've only used it for individual files), I'm reluctant to do anything rash.
I'm a professional designer (with a deadline) but I can still use my Illustrator and Photoshop by opening them from the old system folder and saving the files to an external drive.  So it's not neccessary to do anything hasty except to delete some of the excess art and document files that were causing the computer to run slowly and the  Adobe programs to crash when I tried to save my work. I have quite a few books on tape in the i-tumes folder which is probably talking up tons of space but I don't where the i-tunes files live.
    Thanks for any help. Peggy

  • Cannot delete Flash32_11_6_602_180.ocx from an old system disk

Hi, I am running a Windows 8 64 bit system with the most current version of Flash installed, whatever that is, since I blindly accept whatever update Adobe sends to me.  My problem is that I cannot delete the Flash32_11_6_602_180.ocx file from an old system disk where I have deleted everything else in the Windows folder except the Flash32_11_6_602_180.ocx file.
I have seen very similar posts by Krischu on November 27, 2013 "Cannot delete/remove Flash32_11_9_900_117.ocx" and by Gdstuart on January 22, 2014 "How to delete Flash32_11_9_900_170,ocx," and I have tried the "takeown" method and the FileASSASSIN method suggested by MikeM to both of those posts, but my Flash.ocx file just won't go away.
I am the only user of this PC, and my user account describes me as an administrator, but I keep getting the "You need to provide admistrator permission to delete this file" when I try to delete it.
Does anyone know how to delete this file without doing what Krischu did by loading a Ubuntu system?
    Thanks for any thoughts!

Well Pat, I definitely do filter what Microsoft tries to load on my system, for example, their insistence in trying to sneak in Bing. Either way, I keep my system up to date constantly.
Do you understand that the file I am dealing with is on a separate disk from my system disk? I don't see any way that the OS would automatically delete files that are not part of the current OS.
I took the disks from my old PC and installed them inside of my new PC. The old system was Windows 7 32 bit, and my new system is Windows 8 64 bit.  As I said, there is only one user on my new system, me, and I am the administrator, so there is no "original Windows Administrator password" other than the one that I use every day. The only thing that I can think of is that the file is linked to my old admin user name from the W7 system, but even if that is the case, then why wouldn't  the "takeown" method give me ownership?

  • My motherboard went out and I got a new computer and I need to deactivate Pro X from the old system and activate it on the new system.  How is this done?

My motherboard went out and I got a new computer and I need to deactivate Pro X from the old system and activate it on the new system.  How is this done?

    Hi David ,
If it is a retail version ,then you need to deactivate it and uninstall it as well from your old computer and then you can install it back on the new computer.
If it a subscription based software ,then you just need to deactivate it and you can operate the same on your new computer by entering in your credentials .

  • Calling a webservice(JAX-RPC) from non java client ?

    Hi,
I read JAX-RPC is used for accessing webservices by calling the webservice methods from a java-based client.
Is it possible to call the Webservice methods(writeen using jax-rpc) from a non-java client, who sends his request in the form of SOAP based calls?
If JAX-RPC is not the correct one to call a RPC from a non-java client,In what way i can do this?
Can anyone please clarify my doubt..,
    Thanks in Advance
    Rao.,

    Hi Arun,
Can i write a my client program using cgi scripts?
In the JAX-RPC docs it was said that i can invoke my Webservices through my Service endpoints or using WSDL location?
If iam using a Non-java Client,it will be easier(I think) to use the WSDL file to call the Web-Service(deployed using JAX-RPC).But,the Client should be aware of that WSDL file.
I have to develop a small Application using webServices(must use XML,SOAP technologies). The user will pass some Parameters as request and the Response should be an XML(SOAP message) message.User should be able to request via browser.(http://localhost:8080/)
Can you please suggest me which technology is correct to use,so that i can use the XML,SOAP in it.
    Please let me know...,
    thank you once again..,

  • HTTP REST API call to CPSC 10.x from an external system

    Hi,
I would like to know the below items.
Is it possible to connect with the CPSC 10.x from an external system via HTTP REST API call to process a request and complete a task?
Is it possible to create a new ticket / request in CPSC for a specific service via the HTTP REST API call?
One of the use case is to know how many requests are pending in a queue via a HTTP REST API call? How to pass a queue name in the HTTP REST API call to get the result? These kind of custom piece is not available in the integration guide.
Is there any specific REST API guide available which Cisco provides for the REST capability in CPSC?
    Any help is highly appreciated!
    Thanks.

When a task is invoked from a service catalog request to an external system, the request remains open and the task is pending until the external system issues a call to complete the task.  The API for completing the task is SOAP-based.  Check out the Cisco Prime Service Catalog Integration Guide.  Within the doc, go to the section about "Web Service Listener Adapter" for the WSDL.
You can order a service within Prime Service Catalog with a SOAP call, which is also documented in this same document.  Starting with Prime Service Catalog 10.1, you will have a way to order a service via a REST API.
Existing REST APIs are also documented in the integration guide.

  • I want to replace address book and keychain and safari with the info from my old system.

In the old days of Leopard and Snow Leopard, replacing your address book with one from another computer or another user was quite easy. Likewise with Safari and Keychain, but now with Lion I can't see how to do it.

Do you still have the old system running?
Then you can export your old Address Book as archiv
Address Book -> Export -> Address Book Archive
Transfer this archive file to the new computer, delete all adresses in the address Book and import your archive.
Your Safari Bookmarks can also be exported
Safari -> File -> Export Bookmaks
and reimported on the new System.

  • Upgrading from old system - have storage/networking/Photos ?s

    Hello,
I want to upgrade from an old system and have a few questions:
1.)  What are the advantages and disadvantages of getting a Time Capsule vs getting an Airport Extreme and a non-Apple external (cheaper) hard drive?
2.)  If I get a 1TB SSD internal, then I only need a 2TB, not 3TB, Time Capsule, right, if I do get a Time Capsule?
3.)  Time Capsule backups are not bootable, right?
4.)  I plan on keeping my photos, etc. off the main drive and on an external drive so I envision my set up as being one internal, one base external and a backup drive of the internal and a backup drive of the external.  If TC backups are indeed not bootable, then is it possible to partition my external hd into two sections, one that is bootable and one that is used to store the photos and other stuff?
5.)  For those who are already using Photos, is it possible to have your Photos Library on an external disk and/or have multiple libraries or do you have to use a program like iPhoto Library Manager like before?
6.)  Is there a way, that's not too expensive, to hook up an old Cinema HD Display that has a ADC connector to a thunderbolt iMac?
7.)  I don't particularly like the new OS's flat-look, is there a way to customize how the OS looks?  I remember WAY back in the day one could almost totally change the way the OS looked (colors/dimensionality) and sounded.  Are there third party ways of doing that like before?
THANKS in advance for any and all help!!!

1 no, other then it's build in
2 time machine is not a carbon copy it backup the state where you did not have file x yet and back up when you had file x and backup when you no longer had file x, given enough time it will fill up all backup drives, when it does you can draw a line in the sand and clear the backup and start from new with a backup of how the computer is at that given time.
    3 no
5 yes but it has to be a drive that can be indexed so a nas would not work external drives such as usb, tb and the likes would
    6
Connecting cinema display to mini mac
    more
hook up ADC display with new mac
7 not apart from downgrading the OS X to an older system or if you find some third party program which alters the look

  • BI Content collecting objects from wrong/old source system??

Hi Gurus! Lovely day here on the westcoast of Sweden - springtime is coming!
I have selected an infosource for installation in trx RSOR. I also want to pick up some objects in the dataflow before and after that specific infosource. So I guess the system keeps trying to collect metadata from diffrerent source systems that we have assigned.
I don't know the complete history of the systems - other than it's a bloody mess. We have right now a ECC 6 system connected to BI - but before that we had an older version connected (I guess 4.x something) on a diffrerent server.
Somehow the collection process picks up some data from the ECC 6 system - but sometimes it asks for a login to the old system as well.
This is my problem. I don't have an issue with logging on to the old system - because I have all the necessary rights to do that. But I don't want BI trying to collect metadata from our old system. So somewhere there's a pointer of some sort to the old system that I need to delete....
The old system is not visible in the "source system assignment" view so I can't really find out where to change this settings....
    Any ideas??

It's probably so. Would I still carry out the instructions Andreas gave me for checking this? Or should I just delete everything and do it all over again, just to get the connections straightened out?
I'm more or less the only one at  this point using the system - as it is a kind of sandbox environment. So extreme measures is not a problem

  • I have a new computer and I want to put all Firefox stuff, bookmarks, and T-Bird emails and address book on it, from my old PC. Can I do this myself? How, Please?

Staples will do it for $130. Can I email the info to myself? Or do I have to use a memory card? What do you suggest? Thanks. Sandy

Assuming you can still use your old system. Do it yourself and learn. As long as you know how to use XCOPY comes with your systems and can run .bat files (and can edit and save your .bat files before running them). Since you have both systems you will be able to test your backups to see what you missed. Only copy your user data and configurations, wherever you have all of those folders. Install all software. Anything you miss you can still get from the old system and fix your backup .bat to to better when you use it again.
A portable external USB drive of 500GB to 2TB might be purchased for between $50 and $125 now or definitely on a Black Friday sale. Flash drives you probably have several between 4GB and 16GB fine for touch up work. Even for small amounts of data too much to email yourself.
You will get "Windows 7 Premium" on your new system and the current Firefox is 7,0.1 and Nov 8 + a day will probably update to Firefox 8.0 -- http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/2011/08/every_six_weeks.html

Keep the .bat files you are using on the external device and a copy on the production volume in a folder designated as a copy for the backup files fro the external device. I use both external 1TB HD and several USB drives when I did it almost two years ago.
This is an example of an incremental backup to a 500GB external drive, it does not synchronize the backup only updates the backup but does not delete from the backup.<BR>

Keep things simple use the same userid and passwords on the new machine so you can use copy what you need of your USER files.
This just shows an ideal of what you have to do. You will have to do a lot more. But yuou will need to backup your system and migrating to a new system is a good way of telling if you are backing up what you need to.
