Calling a custom resource list filter within another resource list filter

Hi,
We integrated an external repository (Documentum) in KM using a connector provided by them. And we would like to filter the search results given by Trex on a property of those documents.
We thought about implementing a Resource List Filter for the StandardSearchResultRenderer (Search Result Renderer Settings) but it already uses a custom filter A provided by Documentum.
Is it possible to create a new Resource List Filter B that would uses the custom filter A + perform a filter on a property?

Hi Eric,
Do you know if TREX indexes the properties of the documentum repository? (Sorry to ask this, but I have no access to a documentum repository here) Are the properties part of the index? Easiest way to find out is to go to Display Index Details in TREX monitor, the indexed properties are listed there.
If the properties are indexed you can probably proceed as described in the attached How To Guide from 3.2 onwards. The guide describes in the first part how to configure TREX so that it indexes DC properties from office attributes checked in into KMC- not interesting to you.
The second part (from 3.2) describes how these properties are made searchable, although they are not KM properties and not maintainable in KMC. This might meet your problem. The idea is to create a property in KMC using the property name that it has in TREX index.
Please have a look and let me know if it is a solution for you,

Call a bounded task flow from within another bounded task flow

I am using Jdev 11g Release 1 and need help with the following issue...
Here's an outline of my application..:
1. There is a main .jspx page with icons to choose different paths.
2. Each icon denotes a bounded task flow with TRAIN.
3. Upon clicking on any icon, you get into a series of TRAIN STOPS.
4. On one of the TRAIN STOP there is a button to ADD NEW which shows a popup that is tied to another bounded task flow with TRAIN STOPS.
5. This taskflow 2 calls a method as its default activity.
The issue is when I click on ADD NEW, the popup displays empty. I even put break points on the method and it doesn't even go to the method. The input parameters on the method have been checked so I know that is not an issue. Any clues as to why it won't open the popup..?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Tranferring on "select list" value to another "select list" value

We have a drill through feature in our application where the user clicks on a value on page 1 and is taken to page 2. (e.g. the user drills on EUROPE in the REGION column on page 1 and is taken to page 2 where they see a report by countries in EUROPE.)
We also have identical SELECT LISTS on page 1 and on page 2 for REGION (EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA, ASIA). How do we program our application so that when the user clicks on EUROPE on page 1 and is taken to page 2 the value of EUROPE from the REGION SELECT LIST on page 1 is chosen in the REGION SELECT LIST on page 2?
We tried embedding this in the url for the drill through but the REGION SELECT LIST value on page 2 didn't change.
In the below link shouldn't the value of the REGION SELECT LIST named P2_REGION be assigned the current value of the REGION SELECT LIST called P1_REGION? (in this case 'EUROPE')

DO NOT remove either folder. DO NOT mess with any OS X system files either. If you have dupliocates check your files in iPhoto, iTunes and your iMovies libraries. Also check your data files, under ALL circumstances stay away from any OS X systems files or you will probably bork your Mac to the point it will not run.

Calling One Filter from another Filter

Hi Every body,
I am a faculty in a computer institute, I want to call one ServletFilter [Filter 2] from another ServletFilter [Filter 1] then, from the Filter 2, I want to call the servlet.
This is for one of my student project.
Is it possible something like that, when I read the theroy i can find some thing like that , but I was unable to implement it.

chain.doFilter() method will do that for you.
Just specify your filters in the web.xmland they will be called in the order they are defined in the web.xml

Will google list a splash page made within another website in iWeb?

I've tried submitting a website to google multiple times but they aren't picking it up/listing it. I'm wondering if that is because it is set up as a splash page within another website. I'm trying to get nateweldon.com listed, but it is built within the seaserpentrecords.com website I made in iWeb. It is a hidden page I've set up within seaserpentrecords.com to save money on hosting. Any tips to make nateweldon.com searchable in google?

Where do you publish your website - MobileMe or another server?
Are you using masking to forward the domain name - nateweldon.com ?
Splash pages and masking are two of the things to be avoided with SEO.
If you have only one root folder on your server you need to publish the nateweldon site as a sub site with its own folder so that its URL is...

Need help to call a simple function from within another function?

I created a movieclip which has a function in its one and only frame.

This movieclip is in the main timeline (in its own layer).
In another layer on the timeline I have created a single keyframe with a button instance called myBtn
myBtn.onRelease = function() {

What I want to do is call the function in the movieclip frame from the button press function. However, I can't seem to reference it properly.
Can anyone help me to basically call a simple function from within another function?

Yes am using CS4. Have saved it as CS3 now. Ok the file is somewhat complicated and what I am testing is not what I ultimately want to do but if I can pass that variable I can figure it out. In terms of describing the file I think the only parts of importance are what I put in my previous post (please let me know if there is something I should be telling you that I have missed). I am 99.9% sure that I am using the correct instance name.

Custom run-time menus within dynamically called sub-VIs?

How do you use custom run-time menus within sub-VIs that have been dynamically called? I'm using Labview 6.02.

Since you say within subVIs, I am assuming that you have the subVIs open their front panels when called. Each subVI must have the RTM defined when the subVI is created. You can use the same RTM for each one (use the open function in the menu editor).
If necessary, you can dynamically add and remove menu items using the Application Control->Menu functions. I have some subVIs that add items to the main RTM when they are loaded and remove the items when they finish.

Open a SharePoint List item in Modal Pop up in SP 2013 fails after you filter or sort the list

Sorry for the long post. This has been killing me. I had this script working perfectly fine in SharePoint 2010 (online) and basically i have a source custom list (list A) with a hyperlink column and a Destination List with say title and my name.
Source List (list A) looks like this with these 2 columns
Title Test Link
A Link 1
B Link 2
C Link 3
Each of these links link to the actual list item in the destination list, so for example, link 1 is/sites/2013DevSite/Lists/Destination%20List/EditForm.aspx?ID=1
So basically i want anytime the Link are clicked that point to another list's item to open in a modal dialog and the script below worked perfectly fine in SharePoint 2010 (online)

All it does is find the href tags for that particular value Editform.aspx and the pop modal works in SP 2010 online. So the site page is designed in such a way there is a content editor web part with the reference to this javascript file and the sharepoint
list is right beneath it and this worked perfectly opening in modal windows in SP 2010.
Since migration to 2013, this is what exactly happens
1.) when you come to the site page, the modal works,
2.) If you filter or sort on say the Title or Test Link column in Source list (lets say you select the Value A), the script does not fire at all, if i hover over the hyperlink, the who hyperlink is shown and does not open the hyperlink in the modal pop up.
- This is important because i want to be able to sort on a particular item...
Could someone please let me know what am i doing wrong and why is this not working when i sort the list. Thanks for all the help.

For your needs better try to code your own solution. See
SharePoint JavaScript Class Library for details. You can have two possible architectures:
Make all work from JavaScript. And the first your step will be
addItem method of SP.List.
Make processing of selection on client in JavaScript and call your custom server-side component (may be an application page) for items copying (creating copies in new list of already existed items from initial list.). See
this for example.
Also be careful with context.load. It's recommended to write all next code in context.executeQueryAsync. Use Firebug in FF and developer tools in Chrome for debugging your code and to find what is wrong.

PCUI Button Call to custom URL

I understand and have implemented the CRM PCUI HTML viewer to call a custom URL within a tab. However, now I need similar functions from a button calling a URL and executing in a new window. Any thoughts on how to do this.

I am doing some research on how to "improve" some navigation for the marketing planner pc-ui (crm 4.0).
Within this application the user use case goes something like this.
They have done a search on trade promotions, set focus on a particular line in the results list, several tabs have rendered in the detail area 1...on the basic tab there is a button that says "generate customer event"...note this has been renamed by the customer...this button goes and creates the shell of a customer event...in fact the standard application issues an information message broadcasting the newly created event id upon completion.
The desired navigation preference is once the user pushes the button, force a save (with or with out a confirmation box) then open a new window for that specific customer event...so that the user can then direcly make changes with the full functionality of the application. The users then plan to close the application window putting them back where they started.
I am aware that some simple generic searches with a second window could quickly return the newly created customer event(s), but the requirement to navigate like the above description continues.
Some questions. Is this possible to change? If yes, it is my guess that some changes are needed not only in crm but in the portal(EP) as well?
Any hints on how to provide this navigation feature are appreciated.
Also, is there any further documentaion on the the use of events and field groups for navigation, as I expect this is where changes/enhancements may be needed.

PL/SQL: Executing a procedure from within another procedure

Hello, I'm a newbie and I need help on how to execute procedures from within another procedure. The procedure that I call from within the procedure have return values that I want to check.
I tried: EXECUTE(user_get_forum_info(p_forumid, var_forum_exists, var_forum_access, var_forumname));
but I get the error message:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "USER_GET_FORUM_INFO" when expecting one of the following::= . ( @ % ; immediate
The symbol ":=" was substituted for "USER_GET_FORUM_INFO" to continue.
And when I tried: EXECUTE(user_get_forum_info(p_forumid, var_forum_exists, var_forum_access, var_forumname));
I get the error message:
PLS-00222: no function with name 'USER_GET_FORUM_INFO' exists in this scope
PL/SQL: Statement ignored
The procedure USER_GET_FORUM_INFO exists. (don't understand why it says "no FUNCTION with name", it's a procedure I'm executing)
I'm stuck so thanks for any help...

you don't have to use execute when you want to execute a procedure (only on sql*plus, you would use it)
just give the name of the funtion
