Calling Webservice in BPM

Hai Experts !
Can any one give me a Blog which can help me to do BPM design where i want to send a message to Webservice and get the responce meassage and also any Failure message from webservice.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
Please try to seach in sdn, you will get lot of material available for these kind of scenarios.
See the below link:

  • Call WebService without BPM

    Hi Guru.
    I need your help.
    This is my scenario:
    1) PI 7.1 reads a file va FTP
    2) with the contetn of this file the system calls a WS
    3) with the response of the WS I need to write a file via FTP
    How can I do this without BPM?
    Thanks
    Manuel Chiarelli

    Hii
    You can very well do this.
    File adapter for file send/receive.
    SOAP adapter for web service.
    this should help u out more
    RFC Scenario using BPM --Starter Kit
    I think RFC Lookup is the best solution to your problem. Going for BPM might give performance issue.
    Use this crazy piece for any RFC Mapping Lookups!

  • How to call WebService in ALBPM WorkFlow

    Hi,
    I want to call one webservice in ALBPM. My requirements are to integrate it with other system like ALSB/OSB using Webservice & to expose OBPM as webservice , so that some other system can consume it. I have some queries regarding webservices.
    1.)     I have built one web service, I need to call it in BPM process. For that I called the WSDL in Catalog-> Module-> webservices. By that, wsdl & xmls are imported in catalog. But Im struck in how to call the webservice operation in BPM activities. How to make soap request in BPM flow, in order to hit this webservice.

    Hi
    Dont think so PDF is available for this
    Option could be

  • File to Webservice Using BPM

    Dear Friends,
    Kindly give me some walkthrough doucment for File to Webservice Using BPM
    it is urgent. Kindly help.

    /people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit
    refer that to design your interface. Note that instead of RFC you will require to use a WSDL for the WS call.
    Fotr more about WSDL and its usage in a scenario ref:

  • Calling webservice in udf for inserting data into webservice

    Dear Experts,
          Please give me the drawbacks of using lookup function for inserting data. we are calling a webservice from the udf for inserting the data using a webservice.
    It is a file to jdbc usnig a soap lookup . we use this approach because we need to pass the response from webservice along with the error data to the jdbc.   is there any other way to do it without using bpm ?
        In the udf we are creating the xml structure for webservice and passing the parameters through arguments.
    is there a better approach for this ?
    Thanks,
    Aju

    Hi Aju,
    You can do it without BPM.
    Write UDF for Soap Lookup. Parse the response message from Webservice.  and map the required values to respective fields.
    See the weblog
    Webservice Calls From a User Defined Function.
    Negative point of this solution is that it will take some time to call Webservice and get response back from it.

  • Error while calling WebService inside ISchedulerTask.

    Hi,
    Env: NW 2004s
      I have a requirement of calling webservice frequently. I developed a portal project with scheduler, where the application gives a runtime error while calling/reading the property file (which is generated during the webservice proxy generation, without it webservice call is impossible).
    I have varified the ear file which contains all the required class files and config files including property file.
    fyi:
    portalapp.xml file looks like this.
    +
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <application>
      <application-config>
        <property name="SharingReference" value="usermanagement, knowledgemanagement, landscape, htmlb, exportalJCOclient, exportal"/>

          </service-config>
        </service>
      </services>
    </application>

    Any input will be highly appreciated.

  • How to call webservice using jdev9i

    Hi gurus and experts,
    i need to consume a webservice using oaf. with great effort finally i created stub using axis s/w.
    now i dont know how to use the stub in jdev.where to write the code and what to write.iam strucked :-( .
    since there were no sample tutorial about how to call webservice from jdev9i, iam struggling to make.iam jus a starter.
    and while googling i came to know that stubs can be created using jdev9i .but when i see new-->webservices--web service stub it is greyed out.
    i have 2 questions now:
    1)if stub created using axis can it be used in jdev9i? if yes ,please tell me how? any tutorial links also helps me.
    2)if the stubs should be created only by jdev9i so that webservices can be called using jdev,then please guide me how to make it.

    If your goal is "call" a web service, Jason's Straub's [flex-ws-api|https://flex-ws-api.samplecode.oracle.com/] is by far the best I've seen. You might want read more about it on [his blog|http://jastraub.blogspot.com/search?q=+flex_ws_api+].

  • File to Sync Webservice using BPM

    Hi all,
    My scenarios is File to Webservice and again the output of this web service to some other file...
    I an refering a document in which its written as
    *In the Integration Directory Create Configuration Scenario, Then create three communication channels, one for sending the xml file to the BPM, one for sending the request to Web Service from BPM and one for sending the response as xml file to the desired location.*
    My doubt is do I need a communication chaneel for BPM also?
    and if yes then what will be my receiver adapter in case of BPM.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    No need for 3 Communication channels.
    you define a CC for Sender and another CC fro receiver(webservice)
    In BPM we'll define the IM(this is between the two abstract interfaces)
    Reward points if this is helpful
    Thanks,
    Madhu
