Camera clips cannot be processed?

I just spent the last 90 minutes working on a project and decided to restart my computer since there were some updates waiting to install. Upon opening FCP X, most of the clips which I was able to view/edit just fine less than 5 minutes ago now appear with a “missing camera” icon. When I try to re-import these files (again I am baffled as to why I have to do this since they were editing just fine 5 minutes prior and they ARE NOT from a camera) I am told “some of the selected clips originated on cameras that are not connected and there are no camera archives available.” All of the files are from a folder on an external hard drive, not from a camera. Upon importing I was not given an option to "leave files in place" although these were MOV files from my GH4 in a folder (and not within an AVCHD hierarchy or something ). Why was I able to work on these files just fine for a full hour before I restarted my computer? I’ve tried right-clicking to reveal the media in finder and I do not have that option (that option is greyed out).
Because it's a paid gig thankfully I was able to import and edit these in Premiere 6 and even tried it in FCP 7. My gut instinct is telling I would have to delete all the media I just worked on and re-import and start again from scratch. But since i’m still learning about this amazing hobbyist/enthusiast software I am just curious as to why I had to re-do more than an hours worth of work in case anyone might know. I'm fascinated as to the reasoning for what I am experiencing.

The files are actually on my local hard drive and not an external since the files are just a camera test, meant to be a very short clip. I thought they resided with the rest of my media on my externals. I just tried to create a new library to start from scratch and reimport EVERYTHING and after 3 minutes passes, FCP crashes. It's really becoming a nightmare. But here is the screengrab of the folder contents. I've also resized and including the other screengrabs of what I saw before I restarted FCP and what happened immediately after I opened FCP (it was editing fine, just a bit choppy before I decided to take a break, then saw the first window saying some "camera clips were selected and could not be processed" which was very confusing, so I decided to restart.

Multi-camera - Cannot synchronize camera clips (Clip Sequence disabled)

I'm trying to create a new Multicam sequence with 3 clips of an event shot on 3 different cameras, but cannot synchronize the camera clips in my new sequence. Here's what I did:
First, I loaded one camera clip into the Source window. I located the hand clap near the beginning of the clip, and set Clip Marker #1 at that timecode in the clip. I repeated this for the other 2 camera clips.
Once I had set Marker #1 at the hand clap in each of the 3 clips, I created a new sequence named "Aligned." I added each of these 3 clips to this sequence. Then I selected all 6 clips (3 Video, 3 Audio) in this sequence, and dropped down the Clip menu to choose Synchronize. Unfortunately, Synchronize was disabled (greyed out) in the Clip dropdown menu.
I loaded each of the camera clips into the Source window and confirmed that they all have Marker #1 at the correct timecode position (the hand clap).
I'm new to PPro, so I tried to follow the instructions in the PPro online help page, Multi-camera sequences. What would cause Clip > Synchronize to be disabled, and how do I get past this?

I agree with Jim. I've done a lot of multicam projects and I've never used a Clip > Synchronize command. It should be a breeze to align the three camera angles on the timeline. If your magnetic toggle is activated the Markers will actually snap into alignment as you are adjusting their position on the timeline.
Or you could just set the in point of each clip at the clap marker, or any arbitrary equal distance from the clap marker, then overlay each of the clips on seperate tracks at the beggining of the sequence.
As long as each camera angle has a clear synching point and continuous video you should be golden.

Multi-cam clips and favourites

Have I understood this correctly? If I have a long clip that I want to break down into 'sub-clips' I can only do so by selecting part of the clip as a favourite. If I now want to make a part of those long clips into a multi-cam clip, one would assume that one would 'favourite' each of the clips and then multi-cam them. However when I do that, the multicam process ignores the 'favourite' attribute and synchronizes the entire clip. This can take a long time. As soon as its done one then has to discard 90% of the labouriously created multi-cam clip. Or is there another way of doing this?

That is not my experience. If you select "Show only Favorites" in the Event Browser, you will see only the parts marked as favorite.
Now select the ones you want and create a new multicam clip. It should just use the favorite, not the whole clip.
Actually, when I did that I used a particular keyword instead of marking as favorite, but I expect it should work as well. If not, then you can do as I did, and mark the portions of the clips you want with an appropriate keyword.

Message /SAPAPO/SDP_PAR023: "Some CVCs cannot be processed in block..."

We are using SAP SCM release 5.1, the component Demand Planning. We are running macros in background jobs, e.g. a macro that populates a key figure by summarizing other key figures etc. We are using parallel processing, configured based on recommendation from SAP. When the number of CVCs to be processed by the macros becomes very high (we are processing ~300.000 CVCs at the moment), we get the following message in the job log in SM37:
"Some CVCs cannot be processed in block 2 ", message number /SAPAPO/SDP_PAR023. Obviously the block number varies, and in our case we have had the above message for up to 19 blocks. Users have spotted CVC's that were not updated by the background job, but we don't have a specific list of the CVCs that were not processed.

Thanks for your reply! The spool consists of 23.145 pages so I looked for the word "Lock" using the "Find in request" in the "Spool request" menu. The searched found two entries where there was a message stating that a CVC was locked. It must be noted that no users are logged on while our background job is running, and there are no other processes (background or dialog) running in parallel. When checking transaction SM12 prior to running the job, there are no locks in the system.
Our job schedule consists of a nightly process chain transferring data from BI to liveCache, and a monthly job that prepares historical data and calculates the forecast. We are now running the monthly job.
Is it possible that the parallel processing may cause the locking by itself?

My office is saying its an unlicensed product and it prompts me to re install. It come up with Microsoft Activation Wizard then when I select to activate software via the internet an error comes up saying:

Please can you help me? I have tried pressing shift and right click an using system administrator but still not working. I've called the UK helpline and have been cut off twice after repeating myself to the person on the other end. May be easier

This error can indicate a permissions issue in the registry and/or other operating system issues.
Here is a
blog post which descripts some fixes to this specific error:
Check the Device Manager first to determine whether the issue was caused by an underlying operating system issue.
If it's not an issue with the operating system, try the rest steps descripted in the blog to troubleshoot the issue.

I am encountering a very similar warning, so this may shed some light on the matter. I have a Web Application that runs just fine when it is filtered only by Calendar Day. However, when I filter the Web Application by Calendar Day and Material Group both, then I get a warning at the top of the output that says "Variables for characteristic [0CALDAY]Calendar Day cannot be processed".
So, at least in my case, the variable isn't deleted, and it actually works just fine buy will spit out this warning under these circumstances.

I'm not concerned about sending to the long address list. I just can't get the email and window that says "cannot send emai using the server..." to go away. The default must be "retry", because although I cannot see the choices at the bottom of the window if I hit return it trys again... and then of course comes back with the very long pop up window that I cannot see the bottom of so I can tell it to quit trying...

I have Iphone4 brought from at&t USA(carrier locked) and i am in india now, i contacted at&t and requested for an unlock for me to use with indian carriers.

Excuse me. I am on a contract with O2 with an iphone 4s, suddenly xmas day it said "no service", took it to o2 who sent it to apple factory who refused to repair it because a screw missing. I have embedded swf into pdf. When I try to run my animation I do receive java script alert:

PDF: I try to open embedded swf with app.media.openPlayer (PDF is generated from Tex)
Reader version: I do receive the same error for 9 a X versions of Adobe reader
PC settings: Windows 7, Flash version 11,3,300,262, installed for IE and other browsers (Firefox)
Build Settings: ActionScriptProject, Adobe Flash Builder 4.6, Flex 4.6, cs5 UI controls
Animation is running without problem in browser, ...
Animations were running well when I built them with older builder version.
When I build same animation in Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 with Flex 3.6A then it is running but I have problem with animation size.
Could not find any solution on the web. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue?

Solution: Build project with Flex 4.1A. (original SDK for flash builder 4.0.) Steps:
Download SDK 4.1A from http://sourceforge.net/adobe/flexsdk/wiki/Download%20Flex%204/
Extract archive into SDKs directory and add it into Flash Builder 4.6 list of SDKs
Change SDK for ActionScriptProject
Final words
We have built several screen PDFs with embedded flash ( "legacy" rich media way). We have experienced several problems - different versions of SDKs, changes in Acrobat (Reader) versions, incompatible flash versions. Users have to change (break) reader security settings to enable animations.
I do not suggest to use "legacy" rich media in PDFs. Adobe strongly advises all PDF authors to use Flash media in their PDF files. You can read more here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3450658

Error description is not detailed enough to provide the solution. You need to post the error message what you got in the server log files. This should contain specific details about the issue.
Not sure but issue may be related to JVM settings. if it is so, server log file will provide the error description.

Multi-cam clip display in event viewer

I have been creating multi-cam clips for several projects. I am noticing with some multi-cam clips, it is defaulting to an audio track as the monitoring angle. When I double click on the clip and it appears in the timeline, I am able to change the monitoring angle to a video clip. However, it never updates in the event browser. Frequently before I edit, I will pore through clips and tag them. How do you update monitoring angle so it is also displayed in the event browser?
As you can see from this screen grab, the monitoring angle is set on a video clip but when I watch the clip in the event browser, there is no video

I figured it out. You can change what clip is showing the event browser by going under display and opening the angle viewer. You can then pick which track to display.
