Can extension numbers be added to phone numbers?

Is there was a way to include an extension to a phone number in 'Contacts'? For example, (202) 555-1212 x2232.

Tap , then tap Pause. Pauses appear as commas when the number is saved.

    Hi
    We are looking at Skype Connect to provide access to all our workers via their desk extensions. we have sucessfully trialled a number of users by manually adding account details and extension numbers.
    The problem is the next step of rolling out to all users. i can see i can create the business accounts via CSV file, but i cannot see a method of adding the extension numbers to specific users.
    do i have to do this task manually or am i missing a trick.
    Any advice out there?

    I have contacts that have more than one phone number (I am sure we all have those in this day and age). The importance of the phone numbers varies over time and I want to have the most important one as first on the list. How can I change the order that phone numbers are displayed within a contact?

    Currently, the order in which the phone numbers appear (in a contact) is dependent on the sequence to which you enter them. There is no way to change that order other than re-entering them in the desired order.

    Of course not.  Number blocking must be done by your wireless provider.

  • Add hard pause + extension numbers to contact list...

    I have to call some numbers with extensions. In my old phone I am able to add a hard pause to the number before the extension. I can dial the phone number, the hard pause will let the automatice operator answer, then when the auto message is finished, the pause will stop and dail the extension by itself. Can I do that do the new Nokia 5310?

    Any idea how to press the # key to get into the silent mode. When I press hard on the # key, all I get is Line 2; press hard again I'll get back to Line 1. Never able to get the silent mode.

    Hi!
    We’ve bought DUALphone 3088 some days ago. We planned to use it in our virtual dial exchange (we have a virtual phone number that can be forwarded to landline phones, mobiles and SKYPE also).
    The main thing is that this device must be used as main phone in our office (in Skype mode only). So when somebody of us receives call he must be able to redirect it to another employee using extension number (like ##5 in tone mode). And we were disappointed that we can’t do that! We can’t dial extension numbers when WE RECEIVE skype call. Skype on PC allows to do that. But not this device.
    Nevertheless we CAN dial extension numbers when WE MAKE skype call using this device.
    So this is firmware error…
    Can anybody tell how ask the producer to make an update and fix this problem?

    I am a wireless network operator, with a lot of skype customers.. Oddly those using PC's are unaffected, but myself and a few others using dualphones cannot connect.
    As network manager I am able to prioritise skype, inspect packets etc and Nat across to any number of public IP's.
    I can confirm that its not this network at fault nor any of my public IP's.

    Do you mean to autodial it from contacts?  When putting in a number for a contact, if you hit the bottom, left key (the + * # key) you change the keyboard and have the option of entering a pause (~2 seconds long) or a hard wait (in which case it will pause until you hit a key to continue).  Just put the extension after the pause or wait.  If using pauses to have it autodial, if one pause turns out to not be long enough, just use as many as you need.
    If dialing in phone app, press and hold the "*' for a soft pause, or press and hold the "#" for a hard pause (ie. a wait).
    P.S. The "wait" option might be new to iOS 5.  I know it was not there in previous versions, but not sure when it showed up, in 4.3.5 or only with iOS 5?  If you are running something older than iOS 5 though, you may only have the option of the ~2s pause.

    Hello everybody.
    I'm having the following issue with synchronism as you can see on the tittle above. The client also says that the extension numbers are not updating according to the Active Directory.
    I went to "System/LDAP/LDAP System" in the CUCM and the "Enabel synchronizing from LDAP Server" box is checked.
    What could be the problem? What should I do?
    Any help is really appreciated.

    In our company，the basic manufacture process are as follows:
    1.CO01  Create production order
    2 MB1A  Goods issue to production order
    3 CO11N Produciton order confirmation
    4 MB1A Goods Receive
    For some finished product with serial number management, when doing MB1A goods receive ,we
    will input the serial numbers into the SAP for the first time.That means the serial numbers
    was produced when doing MB1A.
    But for some reasons,we wish when we create a production order,the serial numbers can be
    produced for the finished product.That means we will release a production order,the serial
    numbers can be produced for the finished product of the production order,can be auto
    produced or by input manually.
    We do not want the the serial numbers to input into the SAP until doing MB1A.
    What can we do to produce the the serial numbers for the first time after release a
    production order?

    You should configure the SN profile to allow that the order can be released w/o SN;
    but... for the other issues, we have used and user exit that - after saving the order - generates a SN according to a given logic. 
    We could not fina dan easy way of creating the SN after relasing the order or when doing the GI.

    It sounds like you are trying to use a redemption code (alpha-numeric) where you are supposed to be using a serial number (strictly numeric).  A redemption is normally used to acquire a serial number... the serial number is what you enter to activate the software.
