1)PCI CAN Interface (HiSpeed) can operate with for about 50 frames (Rx-Tx).
Do you now a way to configure more objects?
2) How can I cancel 1 frame update when configuring the object to transmit Data periodically without RTSI Configuration?(NcAction allow to stop the object, but when restarting it, Periodicity is lost).
3) How can I transmit 13 frames running with 13 transmit periods using RTSI Configuration (on the same device)?
4) Why is it impossible to deliver an external clock with RTSI (1Khz for example), and configure the objects to be sent periodically with a sub-frequency of the external clock?

1) A CAN Network Interface Object can be used to receive can data to all arbID's to one object. CAN Objects must still be used to transmit.
2) Stopping and restarting in this manner introduces an unknown latency from the operating system. Is there a reason for transmitting in this manner? LabVIEW real-time might be a better option.
3) It is possible to setup 13 objects to transmit periodically. However, the RTSI connection may be difficult.
4) Dividing a clock in such a manner would require additional hardware on the CAN card or maybe another DAQ card connected to the RTSI line.

I had a pair of ASA 5510s in failover and needed to move one so I disabled failover. Now I can't configure any of the interfaces. When I put an IP on an interface and then show interface ip brief, it shows as unassigned.
What else do I have to do after disabling failover to be able to configure the interfaces again?

Are you not able to assign ip address on both the devices? If i am not wrong, you should be able to assign the ip address to the active one but not to the stand by one. There are two ways to assign ip address to the standby device. One is to reload the stand by so that it comes out of the stand by state.
Second way is to configure the standby ip address on the interface. For ex on the interface configure:
ip address 172.16.1.1 255.255.0.0 standby 172.16.1.2
The stand by device will take the standby ip address.

Having sorted out the (so I thought) most difficult part of setting up Bluetooth PAN networking, I am at the stage of being able to make a PAN connection from an Android phone to my Arch machine, which causes a new interface "bnep0" to appear:

My question is: how can I configure the system (using a config file /etc/netctl/bnep0? or some other way?) so that bnep0 is automatically assigned a static IPv4 address when it comes up?
I have a working /etc/netctl/eth0 config. file that assigns a static IP address, gateway, nameserver etc. to eth0, and I've tried various modifications of that file as /etc/netctl/bnep0 (e.g. connection type "bridge" or "dummy" instead of "ethernet"), but without success so far.

I've used the same commands in other switch with IOS 12.x and I don't have any problem to complete the settings so.... somebody know if:

Can't configure both WAN ports on 1811 with SDM

Hi,
We recently procured an 1811 router to replace a SOHO linksys at a store we service. We needed redundant WAN interfaces to use the DSL as a backup to the main cable connection, and a Linksys RV082, while doing the job when it actually worked, died repeatedly. We decided after looking at the 1811's feature set to just get the Cisco and be done with it and not monkey with SOHO gear anymore.
Where I'm having difficulty is SDM won't let me configure both WAN interfaces from the GUI, it only allows me to configure one. I have it configured, and the router is working nicely in the test lab but I need to get that other interface configured and failover enabled before I can put this thing into production.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to suck it up and learn IOS?

I ended up figuring out the IOS commands to enable one fastethernet port as a primary and the other one as a backup (running both cable and DSL for redundancy; it's a grocery store that runs electronic transactions over IP so 100% availability is a must).
The trouble I was running into in SDM is that while it would allow me to configure one WAN port through the GUI, the config options for the second one were grayed out. Now that both are configured through IOS the edit buttons for both WAN interfaces appear normally in SDM. It's almost as if Cisco didn't want users to be able to configure both interfaces graphically for initial setup.
Now just to test it at the site before the store opens to see if the failover works...

WLC DHCP Settings - Under Dynamic Interface configuration

Hi Guys,
If I have a dynamic interface that is connected to a subnet where the router interfaces have DHCP servers configured under the helper address commands, do I need to configure the DHCP fields under the dynamic interface configuration?
I have helper address configured on the connected routers AND these fields configured with the same DHCP servers.
Just wondering if I can take the IPs out of the WLC configuration?

Ken, the DHCP address under the dynamic interface, is the address the WLC will unicast the DHCP request to when a client tries to use that interface. Under normal operation this address is needed. There is a way to get the WLC to bridge the packet to the wire so that it is a broadcast instead of a unicast packet. CLI command is config dhcp proxy disable.
But I do believe that even if you issue the CLI command, the software wants the DHCP address listed under the dynamic interface.

How to read CAN interface through nisyscfg.lvlib

I need to read the CAN interface assigned to my NI-USB 8473 CAN-to-USB controller within NI's System Configuration (MAX).
The purpose is to programmatically identify the NI-USB hardware device attached to the PC, read the CAN interface assigned to it, and use that in LabVIEW instead of manually checking NI MAX after the controller is disconnected and reconnected or using it on a different PC etc.
Using LabVIEW's VI's found through
Measurement I/O - System Configuration I
Initialize, Get Experts, Find Hardware and get:
Expert = nisyscfg
VendorName=National Instruments
ProdName=USB-8473 (High-Speed CAN)

IsPresent=1
Is there a property for the CAN Interface? If so, where is it found?
Is there a different way to accomplish the same thing?

How can I enter into "interface configuration" on Aironet 1130AG, AIR-LAP1042N?

I ran into an exception the other day – lightweight 3500s (and presumably 3600s) are allowing config t without the debug precursor. The lab version I’m doing this on is 7.0.220.0. Do you have same/different results? I’m not sure if this is tied to the AP model or the lw code they’re running. I’ll need to do some more testing.

AnyConnect 2.5 - Client-to-client connectivity: Intra-interface configuration

I'm working with AnyConnect for the first time (my prior experience is with IPSec client) and I have multiple remote users who connect to a 5520 via AnyConnect client; they need to print to each others' shared printers but currently have no connectivity between each other.
Can I configure the 'intra-interface' command to enable connectivity between remote clients, or is there more that needs to be done to enable this, presuming that it can be done at all?

I've never configured intra-interface communications before; could you go into more detail about setting up intra-interface connectivity? The examples I found refer to two hosts in different networks routing to each other via VPN over the ASA; what about remote VPN hosts that share the same VPN IP pool?

ACS-4.1 - doesn't display Radius(Nortel) in Interface configuration

We have one ACS running over Windows that we can see the Radius(Nortel) option in Interface Configuration.
Have anyone treated with this issue?

That is probably because you have no AAA device configured for Radius (Nortel). IF you configure one, it will appear in the interface configuration

I asked at a Hong Kong apple shop if they had password protected external drives. They didn't, I bought one anyway.
