Have to turn HP Pavilion on then off then on before it works
Hi have just purchased a HP Pavilion P6-2467efm and Pavilion 23xi screen. Weird fault in that you turn it on and nothing much happens and then if you turn it off and on again it all seems to work. Any suggestions folks?...........JR

I understand you have to turn the computer on, off and then back on for it to work, is that correct? I will try to assist you with this issue.
When you first turn the computer on does the power light on the desktop come up? Also do you hear the fans come up?

Every time I try to open my iTunes app on my iphone 4 s it opens but then shuts down right away. I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
Is it normal for my computer to turn on then off then on again?
Sometimes when I turn my computer on it turns off then it turns on. I have not had any other problems with this and there is no error in the debug. My friends Maximus 775 board used to do this a lot to. Is this an intel thing?

Pretty much covers all bases if you skim all of it. Makes sense from a support perspective. But can get annoying. I think EVGA is thinking it over carefully since there could be unforseen implications in allowing the average user to have control over this.

Z77 g45 turning on then off then on again
OK so I was on my computer I turned it off when I went to turn it on it just goes on for like 2 seconds then off again I tested by using one ram and it still does it also I switched the psu out and it still does it is it a faulty board
This from the z77a-g45 as you didn't specify which z77g45 mobo you have.

If this doesn't work you will need to switch the ram sticks/ try them in different dimms to see if there is a change.
Since you won't give up and additional information some other things to try:
Remove any vga you have installed and try onboard.
Remove the mobo from the case and build in on a uncoated piece of cardboard or other non-conductive surface to make sure there are no shorts.
Remove any usb devices you have plugged in .
Remove the SSD and see if you can at least get to bios. -
Internet connected but won't load, have to turn wi-fi on and off every 3 or so minutes
I have a 2011 Macbook Pro. My wi-fi is great, but I have a problem with connecting using my computer. I can connect to the wi-fi network in a second, and the internet will work fine for let's say 3-5 minutes. Then everything just stops loading. I have to turn off wi-fi, turn it back on, and re-connect to the network just for pages to load again.
This does not happen with my phone.

My phone just started switching on and off the screen went green then went off then came back on any help please only have the phone 3 months
If the Slide to Power Off option is coming up, that suggests your power button isn't working correctly and is sticking.
Best thing to do is bring the phone to an Apple store (make an appointment first) and have a Genius take a look at it.

Most of the time when I wake up my apple tv, the white light will come on, but will not blink when I have this problem. I then have to pull the plug and then put the plug back in the socket, then it will work.
How long have you had it? If it is still under warranty, you can have Apple help you out completely. If it is not under warranty, Apple might still be able to send you articles to assist you in this manner. Check "Contact Us" on any page at the bottom.

Just returned from holiday and my ipad can no longer detect my air printer, although working fine prior to that.
Have tried switching both off and on again - no luck.
The printer says that it's connected to my wifi as does the ipad.
Would appreciate any suggestions as I have found it very frustrating trying to get any help from the HP support sites.

i have an iphone 3gs........it is not jailbroken........I was updating to iOS 6!! THen a box came up saying ios 6 will install in 5 seconds................ after wards....... it shut down then restarted.............. the apple logo came up and then below it was a bar.......... it had to be full to complete the installation ............ after a few minutes the bar stopped in between and remained stuck!!! then i pressed the home button and the powerr button together........ it turned off!!! then i restarted it ......... the apple logo comes up then goes off!! it happens and is not stoping until i press the power button once!! whenever i m starting it ....... the apple logo is coming up then goes off ... plz help me........... my father will scold me!! plz :'( plzz :'( thank u.......... :'(

Hello, for some strange reason I cannot open any of the apps I have. I have tried turning the ipad on and off and this doesn't work. I can open everything else (videos, camera, etc) just no apps. Can anyone help please?
If it's the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's all apps including Apple's then try closing them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
