Can SFC be created without a Shop order ?

Hello,
We would like to know if it's possible to create SFCs in ME without a link to a shop order.
We will receive SFC from external supplier and we would like to create them as an SFC in order to keep the same functionalities as the SFC we create in the system with a shop order and "quick complete" XML message.
We would like to avoid to use inventory receipt function because it would means a different way to handle these particular 'SFCs"
Any idea if it's possible to achieve this with SAP ME ?

I did a first test with trackable SFC and it looks to be ok as I was able to create the SFC without any shop order.
the related material has to be defined as "Trackable Component" and the Activity PR300 has the rule REQUIRE_SHOP_ORDER set to FALSE

You can do by applying user exit.
Use PPCO0007 - Exit when saving production order.
Function module - EXIT_SAPLCOZV_001.

Contract cannt be created without reference of PR

Hi,
Can we put restriction that contract can't be created without Purchase requisition in MK31K transaction code.
I tried with field selection and combination of field selection and document type , where Purchase requisition is required entry, however system is not restricting it in posting contract.

Hi,
I would suggest to use the transaction variant option to achieve the same.
You may create transaction variant for ME31K in SHD0 transaction. Maintain the following in transaction variant:
1. While creating transaction variant, maintain the purchase group as "output only" - so that user wont be able to create contract directly without any reference" (ME083 error)
2. While creating transaction variant, click on "copy" button and then maintain the reference document as output only.
3. While creating transaction variant, click on "reference to RFQ" button and maintain the reference RFQ details as display only.
Result:
1. Purchase group display only: User cant proceed without purchase group (ME083 Error)
2. Copy document reference display only: User cant Proceed:
3. Create with ref to RFQ : Ref doc field display only: User cant proceed:
Now, the user cant create the contract without any reference, he cant copy from another contract, he cant create with reference to RFQ. The only option would be to create with reference to PR.

Please check and revert back.
Note: In this case, the user would be able able to insert new line item in ME32K without any reference. If you want to restrict the same, you may maintain the account assignment and material code field as display only for ME32K in another transaction variant.

Unfortunately, no. But Adobe does offer a free 30-day trial of Acrobat (absolutely no obligation). So, you could download the trial to fix up the form. For more information, see www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. Acrobat is also offered on a subscription basis.

Sales order created without contract

Hi Sap Gurus,
We create sales order through contract, But 2 days back contract got deleted and the sales orders created without the contract doesnt have price on it. Now we have many sales order without contract and no price. Is there any way i can update the contract or price to the sales orders other than reversing it

Create a reservation without a purchase order

Hi all,
I try to create a reservation without a purchase order for material T-RN133, and then i got a message, " Order 800040 is flagged for deletion". Then i tried to create another reservation, but still got the same error message.
THe movement type is 501.
Please help me out.

You should not be getting an error when you are using movement type 501 for creating reservation.. can you please check what that order is and give us more details so that we can help also please check there is an user exit or something Z developed to check against order..
As such Std SAP you should not be getting the error

Can a quote be created without defining a Customer?

We wish to activate the Quotations process in SAP, but one of our business requirements (and I'm sure it is the same of many companies), is that the Quote can be created without having to create a Customer Master before hand.
Our company receives hundreds of Quote requests from potential customers, but not always make the sale.
We do not want to have to create a new customer master, just in order to create a Quotation for a potential customer. If we had to do this, we would have hundreds of "Customers" on the master that we never made a sale to for example ... and we don't want to clog up the Customer master file with this information.
Is there a way that we could just type in the potential customer's name and address information into the Quote and send it out to the customer for approval.
If they accept the quote and it is time to create a sales order, then at that time we would create the Sold-To Customer Master.
Any insight into this delima would be appreciated.

"Since it is not posible to enter a order type without a customer, what you can do is to create a dummy customer master(along with ship-to).
When the customer asks for a quote, enter the dummy customer & create the quotation.
Pls note that in a quotation you specify for what price you guve the materials to the customers & other applicable discounts. It has a validity period.
If you are sure that you are going to quote the same price & other details to all the customers, then you can use this dummy customer master.

I was thinking of something along those lines, something like a customer number OTUS (One Time US), or OTDE (One time Germany), with minimal information assigned to Customer Account Group "CPD". Then the person entering in the information could go to the Sold-To partner and change the name and address info.
Since the products we sell usually start in the $10,000 range on up, each potential customer can have any sort of specialize pricing. For these "One Time" customers we would have the regular Material price automatically default in (PR00) at just the material level, then any discounts would be applied manually.
I'm going to give this a shot and see what happens.

Hi,
You can make it mandatory by following ways :
Go to OPPQ -> Select your plant-> Go to BOM / Routing Selection in that you need to maintain BOM Sel ID & Routing Sel ID which is having selection ID with usage 1 Production which will make it mandatory to create BOM & ROuting with usage 1 & need to be selected while creation & saving Production ORder.
Also, you can maintain another config. for making routing mandatory at Order type level :
Go to OPL8 -> Select Plant & Order type-> Routing Selection
Maintain 5 Routing/ref. op. set mandatory (manual selection)
or 6 Routing mandatory (automatic selection)
This setting will ensure without routing your order will not be saved.

CO01 CREATE SHOP ORDER MANUALLY SELECTING ALTERNATIVE BOM

Hi, I can see how to set-up alternative bom selection when using mrp to create shop orders automatically but when we are manually creating a shop order and there are two alternative boms how do I select the second alternative at the time of creation, our set-up defaults to alternative 1 and gives no choice to select the other. Each alternative has different components of course and allocated to different operations.

u can select desire alternative bom while creating Production order manually by creating two production versions for your header material. Do the following settings..
1.create two production versions and assign your alternative BOM - Mrp view of MM01.
2. define BOM selection Ind = 2 in (By production version) In Mrp view.
3.then define selection of production version = 1 (Manual selection)for your order type and plant - in OPL8
4. Now create pro ord , give your qty and date`s then sytem will show one pop-up window here u can select the production version .

How can i copy a playlist from itunes to a mp4 player without loosing the order of the tracks in the playlist?

I'm having problems transfering the playlists i've created from itunes to a mp4 player. It's not an ipod, and everytime i try to do this operation, the songs show up not by the order in the playlist but by alphabetical order. Is there any way to copy the playlist without loosing the order of the songs and directly, - i mean, without having to copy song by song to a folder in the mp4 player -, like it happens with the ipod? If so, how?

Why do you need to verify it? Have you received an email telling you to click a link to do so? - if so it's very possible that it's a scam designed to trick you into entering your credit card details. If you have received such an email don't follow any links in it. If it's not addressed to you by name it's unlikely to be from Apple.
You could copy and paste the email into a post here so that we can have a look at it - remove your own email address when you do this.
If there is some other reason you want to verify the ID please give more details.
