Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on 25 June 2010. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Since you have not given us much information to go on, I will start with the basics...
Have you activated the Personalization DSOs (0PERS_WTE, 0PERS_BOD & 0PERS_VAR)?
If not, you will need to do so in tcode SPRO (SAP Reference IMG --> SAP NetWeaver --> Business Intelligence --> Settings for Reporting and Analysis --> General Settings for Reporting and Analysis --> Activate Personalization in BEx)
Are you running a BW 3.5 query or a BI 7.0 query?
If BI 7.0, the way to set personalization values has changed. You have to open the personalization section of the variables refresh screen by clicking on "Show Personalization Values" at the top of the screen, then move the desired variables down to that section.

First, you don't have a 5+ year old 3GS. The 3GS has only been around for under 4 years. In fact, 5 years ago there were NO iPhones; the original iPhone (2 generations before the 3GS) came out on June 29, 2007 - not quite 5 years ago. The 3GS was released June 19, 2009.
That aside, you can sync multiple phones to one computer - see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1495. boogeyman is wrong. It is 100% safe to create an additional user name on her computer, log in with that name, and back up the phone. See this for details on what you want to do: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2109

Can't connect via sqlnet - oracle not available

Having trouble connecting to the database via sql*net. I'm executing sqlplus from the database machine. Connection works if I don't specify a SID in the sqlplus arguments (ie. sqlplus tbils/xxx), so the instance is up and available; but does not work if I give a SID:

Iphone 6 maps can't find directions, says "directions not available"

No matter what address I enter, my new iPhone 6 maps app says "directions not available." I've tried a hard reset, but that didn't help. My location is shown on the map, but it will not map another location.

Google Maps is a 3rd party map solution. I suggest checking with their support page and see if they support directions in the UAE. Only they, or someone that has used them in the UAE could answer your question. Good luck.

IPod icon not available in iTunes and Desktop

Okay gang here's one for you. While working on my Mac G4, I had ejected my iPod icon as I was getting ready to shut down for the day. Next day after downloading music from iTunes I suddenly noticed I no longer had the iPod icon on iTunes or my desktop.I have the U2 4th generation iPod. I have tried everythintg except standing on my head while doing the five R's. Nothing has brought back the icon. My iPod is fully charged and plays, but I can not place the new music in my library on it. HEEEELP PLEEEEASE!!!!!! Thanks

Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

HP Driver "Can't install because it is not available from Software Update Server"

Proplem: Can't use my HP Officejet 6500 E709n on my MacBook Pro, even using USB connection.    I click on sign, get add printer window showing the HP 6500 printer as USB Multifunction. I select and press 'add'. I get 'setting up ...' window. After a while I get the error window, "Can't install the software for the HP Office jet 6500 E709n because it is not currently available from Software Update Server." Only option is cancel.
HP site says that it supports Mountain Lion and the only way to get the driver is through Apple's Software Update.
Apple's site says Mountain Lion supports HP 6500 printer.
The Windows 7 computer on the netword prints fine to it.
I would really like to get this connected. Does anyone have a clue why the driver is not on the Software Update Server what the fix is?

Fantastic, Mene1 & John. Thank you. I deleted the HP Folder, deleted trash, reboot, and reinstalled. USB installed like a charm. Was able to print and scan.   I even noticed that the Fax printer came up for both USB and 192.168.1.65. I installed the fax printer for the network and it works great without USB.
However, the network for the printer never showed up in the list. I tried IP option and entered the address. It correctly identified the printer in the "use" field. However, when I click on 'add' is has a window that says, "Unable to verify the printer on your network. Unable to contact to '192.168.1.65' due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer?"   I choose Continue, and it creates the printer. Printing, it just sits there trying to connect with the printer.    Again, the printer is hardwired into my home network and I am using my AT&T U-verse Wi-Fi connection to my MacBook Pro (which works for Fax on the printer).
Any ideas?

I'm from Canada and so is my phone. Now I live in France and when I want to download apps, sometimes it says that I can't because those apps are not available for Canada apple store. How can I change the country?

It's not a matter of changing the country. The issue is your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

You can change the country by clicking the round flag icon bottom right side of the App Store window.

Formatting icons not available for Constant Contact email templates - just blank images appear

My Firefox 3.6 doesn't allow me to see the icons in aWeber or Constant Contact. These are icons that I need to see when formatting an email in a template. The same thing happens in aweber. Constant Contact says it is a Firefox problem. I do not have any add-ons added.

I use WordPress with TinyMCE modifications to make sure HTML code is written correctly. Emails are not coded the same way as web pages. Also, I use str_replace and preg_replace within the template to make sure the editor won't have any code that I do not want, for example I take <p align="center">...</p> and replace them with <center>...</center>, and some other modifications that I find fitting due to HTML Email code reqs. If you're not sure how to buffer, find and replace content in WordPress, you could also use a WordPress plugin - Real-Time Find and Replace I believe it's called. I just have many templates so I need custom replacing, this plugin does it for every page. I also installed one of the Multiple Blocks plugins that create multiple blocks within your Page/Post. With that you can create as many editable fields as you need. I send emails manually, but I came accross the code once that actually will allow you to submit your content within the same page, I dont have the link, I found it googling HTML emails and wordpress. You may also look into PHPList emailing software (free) in addition to this. You can plug the final HTML code your browser produces into there and then email it out using their emailing system, since you get more control over your lists and so on. If not I guess you could implement one of the custom fields in WordPress as a email list.

Illustrator illiterate...can do this in Photoshop but not Illustrator!!

I'm working on a project that must be done in Illustrator and am having a bit of a hard time figuring it out. I'm designing a Cycling jersey for work and what I'm trying to do is add some floral designs within the text of our logo ( it's a women's jersey ). I'm working with an EPS file of the logo that was done a few years ago ( not by me ) and am able to open it in Photoshop, select some floral, swirly type brushes and using the Magic Wand tool I am working on each letter individually to get the look I want. Hopefully you understand this...I am on a different computer but will try to post an image later if it helps anyone get what I'm trying to.
The problem is when I try to bring it back into Illustrator there's no paths and it's a white background, not transparent. I've been researching this for 2 weeks now and for the life of me cannot figure out how to do it the proper way!? Any help would be appreciated!

As a general rule silkscreen folks like CLEAN SHARP VECTOR artwork. However, they can work from bitmap images. Particularly if the images are HIGH RESOLUTION. I would try and see if they would accept high resolution TIFF files of each color. Seperate each color out into a seperate TIFF file. You can even save the TIFFS as BITMAP files and stack them in Illustrator and color each one individually their respective colors so you can see the whole design colored the way you want it. From what I'm seeing though it looks like you are just doing the type in one color.
I would gently buck whoever is telling you IT HAS TO BE IN ILLUSTRATOR.
That being said I do get frustrated with people who send me Photoshop files with a bazillion (Yes thats a highly technical term) gradients and blends in them all at 72 DPI and than wonder why I tell them we can't print the file. Silkscreen requires EACH color of ink to be a seperate separation. Each color needs to be presented to them in either a SPOT color or in BLACK. So they can image film for each color. Also go with 600 DPI if you can. Can they get by with less? Maybe. But I like 1200 if I'm imaging silkscreen film from a tiff. Keeps all the type clean and sharp.

Cannot initialize photoshop disk not available.

I have 3 HD's. My Mac OS runs on HD 1 as well as my applications. I use HD 1 & 2 as storage for photos and video. I switched my scratch disc order to HD 2 and HD 3 but clicked off HD 1 as a scratch disk in photoshop extended CS4. Now I cannot open photoshop not even to reset my scratch discs. It will not open because it says it cannot initialize photoshop because disk is unavailable. The weird part is that I cannot open photoshop in CS3 because of the same reason even though I did not touch that. I uninstalled and reinstalled both from disk and time machine but does not help. How do I change back to what I had before I screwed this up. I can't believe the program allows itself to be obstructed so easily without any warning.

Go back in Time Machine to before you did this and restore the Photoshop folders and preferences in the HD\Library\Preferences, HD\Library\Application Support\Adobe, and Home\Library\Preferences folders.
Or you can just dump the preferences and then try to restart PS.
I suggest the Time Machine method in case you have custom workspace settings or paths you don't want to lose and have to reset

FInally I got my AppleTV and connected it to my TV and network , sadly it took me hours until I succeed to activate airplay after finding out in some forum that I need to reset my network connections and the airplay icon will appear , happily it happend and I start looking for answers regarding the huge lag in mirroring stage ( which still huge problem that have to be solve after I will solve the airplay disappear issue) .
after 10 min the airplay icon disappear at my IPad and iPhone and even resetting the network connection is not helping , please please please some one help !!!

It's not necessary, but is a good troubleshooting step. How to do so varies from brand to brand. Look at the manufacturers website, they should have a manual available that explains how to access the settings and change it.

Site Studio - Edit icon not available under assets after checkin

I searched the forum and did not find a result that covered this.
In site studio, I want to add a new css file to a web site. What I am expecting to happend isn't actually happening. I select the new css and save/checkin. I don't have the edit/pencil icon, it is grayed out, so double clicking on the new content doesn't do anything - okay, I double click and I don't get the result I am expecting which is to see the file in the pane to the right for editing.
So I figure I can edit this in UCM. I open a browser window to ucm, and do a quick search with CSS as the search term. I see my file. I check out the file to my desktop. I edit the file and add the css content that I want. Then check in the file.
Back to site studio. The edit pencil is still grayed out. I click the circle arrows to refresh. Now my file does away.
I'm thinking my system is toast, but would appreciate any advice other than rebuild from scratch. I would really like to understand what is going on to both fix the problem, but more importantly, to understand what is going on.

The only time that I've seen the edit button "greyed out" is when you already have it open in Designer to edit. And CSS will only show up in the "Site Assets" if its "web site object type" metadata is set to "Stylesheet".
What version of Designer are you using? Perhaps get the latest version and reinstall.

Photoshop CC not available?

I don't see Photoshop CC as an option to download, only Photoshop CS6.

am using Mac OSX v. 10.8.3 I found instructions on the adobe site that said to open PS CS6 and go to Help>Updates. I ran through this. When I reopened PS, it is still CS6 and there is no PS CC installed on my machine. I thought perhaps CC was just an update to CS6 so I opened it and checked. The new features are not there.
Below are all of the Adobe products currently installed on my computer.
I went back to the Adobe Download assistant and the following is what I see.
see? No Photoshop CC option. Any suggestions would be helpful.
