Can user-defined styles load into new documents automatically?

Greetings.
I created a new style for a document. Is there any way to have that style automatically load into every new document I create by default? Or is the only option to import it every time I create a new document? I sure hope you can do the former!

Create a new document from the template which you want to use as starting point.
Import the style from your other doc into the newly created one.
Save the new doc as a template.
Use this new template to create your doicuments.

You need to install Photoshop on your new machine. Once installed you can sync you new installation with your old cc install. If your assets and Photoshop add-ons are on the external drive your done if you link them into you Photoshop paths. I prefer to copy my Photoshop add-on like Plug-ins and Scripts to the boot disk and link then in there. Adobe removed additional plug-in folder from preferences and never had an additional script folder support. Using Files system links work just fine. I have CS2, CS6, CC and CC 2014, They all share the same Plug-ins and Scripts. Some do not work in CS2 because they user new features not in CS2.

Is there a way to use the fields from a User Defined Table in a Marketing Document on a row level such as for example Purchase Order.
If this is not possible directly, any known work-arounds?

Thanks for your idea/workaround. To be more precize, we don't want to pull information from a UDT field into a marketing document, but from the row-level we like to write information to an UDT field.
Any idea?

I am implmenting BADI for user defined field in budget entry document definatin name 'FMBW_CUSTOMER' . I have created two fields in include 'CI_FMBH' and also created a sub screen and assign this subscreen to badi. I have called get data and put data methods in PBO and PAI. like this.

David's excellent standard should be the minimum standard for Help files.
The quality of software manufacturers' Help (not just Adobe) has deteriorated greatly over the past decade - to the point where it's now my last resort for learning.
Software manufacturers seem to tacitly rely on 3rd party book authors (such as David's brilliant material), bloggers and online tutorials to explain their products these days.

Script to open excel files take info and put into new document

Hi All
I am new to applescript, but looking through the forums it seems to be the solution to my problem.
I have large numbers of excel files on a pc server which i want to open, take approx 8 cells of information from each and place into a new excel doc, forming a list. I want this if possible to happen automatically, so if a new excel document is placed into a folder on the server, the relavent information is added to my list.
I have looked at automator but dont think it works with excel yet, and the programming in excel is too much for me.
I posted a query here in my previous job for a script of change all "/" symbols to "-" symbols, which worked very well and i hope someone more gifted can help with my new query.

Trouble keeping photo size when dragging and dropping photo into new document on elements 12

When trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6. Any help would be much appreciated.

Whenever you combine two images, the resolution (ppi) of the bottom image is the resolution for everything. So if you take an image that is, say, 72 ppi, and paste that into an image at 300 ppi, the pasted object will shrink a lot. If you paste a high-res image into a low res image, the pasted object will enlarge a lot. The best way to get consistent results is to make sure that both images are at the same resolution (image>resize>image size) before you start.

Why can't I type in a new document?

When ever I start a new document recently, I'm not able to write on it. The indicator for writing doesn't show up and the outline icon isn't cliackable. I have to use a text box everytime I have to write something. Help!!

You have opened a page layout document rather than a word processing document. A page layout document is a completely blank space & you need to insert a container for your text. That can be a text box, a table or an object.

Can we define a style that will target "all TextBlock elements inside Border elements of style XXX"?

You can probably do that but why would you want to do it? Transaction data is generally required for querying purposes and queries run best on multidimensional cube structure, not a flat structure.
