Can we call scheduler?
Hi,
I am using Forms as an interface to call reports.
Can we access Oracle's job scheduler window via forms?.
So that I can run/schedule reports via web forms.

there are several possibilities to do that. it essentially depends which version of forms/reports you are using.
use HTTP request (6i + 9i): you construct a regular reports URL and use web.show_document or the database UTL_HTTP to submit it to the server.
use event driven publishing API (9i) : you use this database API (which is shipped with 9i) to invoke the report from PL/SQL
use the reports web services (9i 9.0.4) : this option will be available in the upcoming release where you can submit jobs via a web service.
common to all three methods is that you need to create the scheduling form in forms and then use either method to submit the job. advantages of the latter two would be that you actually get statusinformation back.

SamundarHaven't used Tivoli but it's probably safe to assume that scheduler is capable of triggering a batch file or a command line. If so, then there are several 3rd-party Crystal Report Managers (see list at: http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html) that can be called via a command line.

/next:date[,...] Runs the specified command on the next occurrence of the

"command" Is the Windows NT command, or batch program to be run.

Cannot Call on my Blackberry 8320 but can receive calls
I was wondering if I could get some help.
I recently purchased a Blackberry 8320 off of an ebay store from Japan. It is an unlocked phone GSM phone.
I live in Canada and I cannot make calls, it just says "Call Failed" but I can recieve calls and I can send and receive text messages.

I suggest the following steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you will need to contact your carrier for assistance.

On my iPad reminders has a list called scheduled but this list does not show in my iPhone or Mac book pro. What do I need to do to have scheduled reminders on my iPhone and MacBook Pro?
iBooks appear in the separate iBooks app in OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
Audible handles only audiobooks. They can't help with any issue with an iBook.

Otherwise, your SIM could be incompatible with your BB...for which you would need to talk to your SIM provider.

To fill a field in the output list with a value that is based on the current line information and calculated by a function module
So go to SQ02 and create an additional field in the InfoSet.
You can refer in the coding to the technical names you can see in the left tree window like P0000-PERNR.
More information is avaiable in the Help part look for additional field in SQ02.

I can send calls from Mac but incoming calls do not show up on Mac.
Just downloaded Yosemite 10.10 on 10-21-14. I can make calls on my mac but unable to receive calls on my Mac. No notifications for incoming calls on my mac. Everything else runs fine. Messaging and calls from my mac works fine. I am running IOS 8.1 on a iPhone 4s. I have a 2009 Macbook Pro 2.54 duo with 8 gb of ram.
There is no Adobe printer in recent versions of Mac OS. Look instead for a Save As Adobe PDF pull down.

Can't call out on PSTN after ethernet adapter failure in J4W
Hi all
Okay here goes.
We are currently deploying new laptops in our business. It's the brand new Lenovo X1 Carbon 2nd G. together with a USB based docking station. Unfortunately there is a very annoying bug with the docking station. The problem is that the dock ethernet NIC, suddenly disappears from time to time in Windows. This means that Jabber for Windows is failing over to the Wi-Fi network. This should be okay, but we are seeing an issue with J4W, when the ethernet NIC disappear.
The problem is that J4W can't call out to external phone numbers/PSTN, but all internal calls are working fine. Also it's possible to call from an external number/PSTN to the J4W client. But still, the J4W client can't call an external no. You will only hear a busy tone when trying to make an external call.
It doesn't help restarting the J4W client, we have to reboot the entire computer to make the client be able to call external numbers over Wi-Fi. Meaning that the ethernet NIC on the docking station, isn't reappearing after a reboot of the laptop. To make it reappear, we have to disconnect and connect the docking station cable.
Atm. we are waiting for a fix from Lenovo, but in the meantime I can't understand why we can't call external no. when the ethernet NIC fails. I mean, we can call external numbers. over Wi-Fi, but not when the ethernet NIC are failing.
Can anyone point me into the correct direction here?

Try following the steps below to turn off the call forwarding:
1. Touch Phone.
2. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
3. Touch the Settings icon.
4. Touch Call Forwarding.
5. Touch the required option (e.g., Forward If Busy).
6. Touch Save.

I can make calls and send texts on my new iPhone 5, but all incoming calls and texts are received by my old (non-Apple) phone.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Can't call or chat with Verizon because I can't use my cell (Account, not technical problem)

So I am living in Ireland right now. NOT using my Verizon account at all. (Phone still active, still paying, but using a European cell here.) In the meantime, I need to make a change to my nephew's account, which I pay for on mine. (He got a new carrier on his own a month or so ago and I need to cancel his line.) If I dial any of the numbers for customer service from a land line or from my cell here, it says to hang up and use my cell phone. And I can't do that! I don't have it activated for global services because I'm not using it. Then on top of that, the chat online function seems to be blocked in Ireland. It won't work on any computer I try.
So here I am, I can't call Verizon. I can't chat with Verizon. I can't find an e-mail address. And in the meantime, for the last month I am paying for a phone that isn't being used. Because I can't figure out any way to actually get Verizon to talk to me!! I've tried googling numbers, etc., etc. The 1-800-922-0204 number says I'm not calling from a Verizon cell and hangs up on me. The 908-559-4899 number behaves exactly the same. I tried the Global services number, but they said it's for technical support only, no customer help.
