Can we have mesageChoice Item as Lov Criteria

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to know if it is possible to have a messageChoice items as the Lov Criteria. If not what is the alternative.
My scenario is that i have a messageChoice which i want to use to narrow down the Lov search result. For example: messageChoice based on VO with Display Attribute: Application Name and Value Attribute: Application ID. Then Lov based on LovVO that returns progamId or programName relevant to applicationId from messageChoice.

You can do that. You just need to put proper criteria mappings to make messagechoice item as the criteria. Though keep a note of the fact that the LOV field on the base page should always be configured as a search criteria item.

We are changing some seeded pages in iProcurement. We need to change some messagestyledtext readonly items into updateable and LOV driven items.
I don't want to touch the seeded items.
So, can I create my own items through personalization, point them to the same VO attributes that Oracle's seeded items were looking at? Then I would hide Oracle's items through personalization.
This doesn't make a lot of sense to me because which item would end up populating the VO attribute? The custom or the Standard? Wouldn't there be a conflict?
But I read somewhere in this form that this can be done. The example given was that with formvalue items and messagestyletext items.
Appreciate anyone's comments.

Read only fields will not post the values. So you can have another updateable item pointing to the same view attribute. Formvalues are used when you just want to post the values but leave the messagestyledtext for display. In your case you can use personalization and hide the messagestyledtext and add the text input or lov item pointing to the same view attribute.

Can we have descriptions in an LoV?

I have an LoV attached to a parameter that contains 55 different school codes (each code is a 3 digit number). A particular school's staff member might not necessarily know the code for his/her school, so I was wondering if it were possible to add a description to the LoV.
For example, LoV would look something like:
100 - Faculty of Arts
101 - School of Radio and Television
102 - School of Social Sciences
and so on.
Is it possible, and if so, how?

Is it possible, and if so, how?Yes it is possible what ever column you are picking up for 100 concatinate it with the description column so your lov will display as you require.
Example:- school_codel||'-'||description_col
place this concatinated column in the lov,your requirment will be fullfilled

pl let me know how can we set the lov criteria item programatically.
i have 2 lov's.if the 1st lov has a null value then 2nd lov shud have a null value.
but if 1st lov has a value then 2nd lov has to populate values based on the value in the 1st.

Are you talking about cut/paste within an application (i.e.: Word, Textedit) or Finder? (i.e.: cut/move file to folder or external hard drive.) Finder doesn't have cut, just copy. As to why, you'd have to ask Apple.

I tried that but it just shows 'downloaded'. There is no little cloud next to that wording. On an Itunes help page it shows a 'library icon' once you have logged in but that does not appear on my version of ITunes which is 11.1. I have lost so many peices of music! There is no way to clear the update notifications - unless you delete the apps completely from the iPad and from iTunes on your computer.
Obviously you want to continue to use the apps, so you either have to update the iPad and get the newer versions - or just ignore the update notifications. They will not go away.

If you want to have the pricing procedure at delivery level then you need to assign a pricing procedure at delivery level also
Just go through the path to maintain the pricing procedure at delivery level.
IMG -> Logistics execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Pricing -> Pricing Procedure. for Delivery.
But can you be more clear if the above one is not your query ?

You cannot.
You cannot use another countrys itunes store.
You must be physically locates inside the borders of a country to use that countrys itunes store and a credit card issued in that country with a valid billing address in that country.
The owners of the distribution rights of movies/music/etc differ by country. These distributors decide who can sell their content in that country.
Buy from another source if your countrys itunes store does not carry somehting that you want.
