Can I run an assignment on a qualified table from a main table.
For example: My main table Vendor and Qualified Table is Company Qualified .
Company Qualified - VendorNr (Non- Qualifier),Company(Qualifier,lookupFlat - Company)
Company - Name,Description (It has valid values in it already).
How to add a default value into the Company Qualified table.
When i add a assignment like
If(is_null(Company Qualified [Record],default lookup value from Company) ...it says invalid.
Any help greatly appreciated thanks

This is not possible currently in MDM. I've tried many times to find a good way to do this and so far have been unsuccessful. I also have tried to have a workflow on the main table call an assignment in a lookup / qualified table, and that doesn't work either. The biggest reason is because you have to select a table field when you create an assignment, and it doesn't give you the option to choose fields within a table.
Hopefully they will address this in a future release.

Can we Sum the Values in the Qualified table Fields??

Hi All,
I have a requirement where..Each material has multiple UOM's, So designed it as Qualified Table.
UOM is a Qualified table.
UOM Type is NON Qualifier.
Weight Qualifier - Integer field
Length Qualifier - Integer Field
Now in main table there is a field called Net Weight.
I need to write a validation which checks Whether Sum of ''Weight'' in Qualfied table is Equal to ''Net Weight'' for that record.
So if there are 5 UOM for 1 material, then the validation should check whetehr the Sum of all 5 Weights in QT is equal to ''Net Weight'' Field in Main table!!!
Did anyone faced a similar issue, If yes How did you solve it!!

Net Weight = SUM(UOM.Weight)
Here SUM is the standard function thats u need to select from list of functions.

Can't run JavaFX app as a jar file from command line

I'm trying to build a JavaFX app from scratch (that is, by including the jar file from the JavaFX SDK rather than by using the special JavaFX project type from NetBeans). It runs fine in NetBeans. Unsatisfied link means that Java is trying to access a native library, but it cannot be found. As to why this error is being thrown, here is my guess:
If you open up one of the sample jars with a zip viewer, you will see that the Manifest file has the following entries:

In other words, a JavaFX project works a bit differently than a normal Java project. com/javafx/main/Main is used as the Main class and your "Main" class is called later.
If you are trying to build this from a normal Java project, then com/javafx/main/Main will not be created and it will call your Main class right away. Thus, whatever setup is needed to run JavaFX will not occur.

When you crated the "server" in Eclipse did you specify 5060 as the SIP port and
8888 as the HTTP port?
In that case have you configured OCMS/OC4J to use 5060 and 8888?
The Eclipse plugin only checks if the launched process listens to the ports given when you created the "server" in Eclipse.

Can I run 2 different size and ratio monitors from my mac mini

I have a samsung 50" TV currently hooked up to my mini via HDMI, I have another TV 32" which i'll plug in either via a splitter or more likely displayport to hdmi, but when I tested the 32" via HDMI there was no input signal.
I've checked and this can be fixed going in remotely and changing the ratio but surely this would affect both displays or can I change settings for each display output?
I do want a 3rd TV hooked up to, but how would I do this if that display is again different? - not bought this one yet

If these are all TVs then presumably they are all the same aspect ratio, namely 16:9 widescreen. You should be able to run both, or all three using a splitter, as long as the lowest common resolution is selected. It sounds like perhaps the 32" TV only supports 720p. But so should the other TVs. So as long as you set things to what is supported by the least of the TVs, they should all work.

Can I run a Floppy drive to transfer photos from old floppies

I have some photos that where professionally placed on 3.5 floppys. Can I purchase a inexpensive USB floppy drive ("mac compatible") and transfer these photos to my iMac 10.8.2 to create CD's?

It should be possible. The trick will be finding the floppy drive. Google usb floppy drive os x to see what is out there.

Qualified Tables Problem

    I would like to know if possible to avoid duplicates in a Qualified table. When you create a qualified table you can set several things. firstly you can set if fields inside the qualified table are Non Qualifiers or Qualifiers and furtheremore you can set some field properties like display field...and unique field.
I realized that you can put 2 iqual records inside of a qualified table.
I would like to know how i can make so that there are not duplicate records inside the qualified table.

A qualified lookup field in the main table would replace all of the quantity price fields, and the pricing data would be stored as qualifier values associated with main table/qualified table links, as shown in figure below.

Hi,
We have had the same problem in a non-express application
with a heavy server partition. In our case, the error was not
systematic, depending on the server workload at the time we
tried to partition and run.
The work-around we're using is to put the -fm flags (increasing the x
parameter to say 30000) in the 'server arguments' of your server
partition
properties in the partition workshop. Note that if your server is a Unix
platform,
you need to put double-quotes before and after the parenthesis in the -fm
syntax.

Crystal Reports: report created on a system can't run on another

Having a problem with fully qualified table names. I have a report that was developed offsite. In the 'show sql query' none of the tables are fully qualified (prefixed with the database name). I added a new table and the table is shown as prefixed with the local database name. I port it to our web site that uses the same logical database (physically not the same) but with a differenct database name. The report won't run as it can't find the table that is prefixed with the other database name.

What Don is referencing is the fact that the same database can have schemas (or owners) in the same database. A fully qualified table name actually has 4 parts
Server Name
Database Name
Schema Name
Table Name
Because of this, you CAN have 2 or more tables with the same name, in the same database, as long as they have different schemas.
The "dbo" that you referenced previously is SQL Server's default schema. BTW "dbo" is short for "database owner".
If you look at the AdventureWorks sample database (the one that ships w SQL 2005 & 2008) you'll see what I'm talking about. If the "dbo" is the only one in use in your database, then you have no worries about how you are doing it.

How can I run a vi developed with LabView 7 Express on another machine ? Do runtime versions exist ?

Apparently, you want to run it on a machine that does not have LabVIEW installed.
To make a standalone executable of your LabVIEW program, you need to have the Application builder (included in LabVIEW professional and higher, avaliable as an add-on for base and full).
To run the application, the target system need to have the LabVIEW 7.0 runtime installed (available as a free download).
There is also the LabVIEW Player. In this case you need to digitally sign your VIs and there are a few limitations. It is meant for for sharing code ideas and is not a viable substitute for the appl
ication builder.
Of course you could also get a second copy of LabVIEW.
Some other options that would work in a very narrow set of situations: Read your LabVIEW license agreement. Under certain conditions you are allowed to install a second copy of LabVIEW on your home computer. If this is for personal educational use only and you qualify, you could also buy the LabVIEW student edition.
