Candidate Name E-Recruiting

how can I bring a candidate name to a query in e-recruiting?
thanks in advance, Sony

Hi,
If you are in EhP4, SAP provides several Infosets with access to data on Candidates and/or Requisitions.  You can use Infosets ERC_APPLICANT_MGMNT and ERC_REQUISITION_MGMNT via Ad Hoc Query or SQ01 to create your reports.  ERC_APPLICANT_MGMNT does get the Candidate name from the Business partner data.  You can also add other data such as posting applied for, work experience, education, etc. to your queries.

Please any one suggests me what is problem?

    Hello Sri,
the solution to your first question might be very easy. In EhP 4 the entries in the dashboard do not appear automatically. In most cases you have to refresh the dashboard (be aware this is only effecting the current dashboard work list, not all if you do not use the refresh all button). Soclick the "My new Applications" and then refress this workset.
If this does not help we will have to look closer into this issue (overall I assume you have EhP4 SP 6 applied).
For question 2. It is a quite common requirement that an external publication is nearly only based on the posting texts while the internal publication includes much more specific information (org. management, cost center, pay scale group). As you are free in designing you own company specific internal and external publications they can look however you want (in the general restriction what a smartform can do of course). For different publication texts companies create different postings one for internal and one for external publication. The additional information are in some cases entered directly into these texts, in some cases maintained in e-rec fields not needed for other requirements, in customer own fields or directly gathered from the HR core system. It depends a bit on the exact requirement which is the best solution. For the fields you mentioned I'd probably go for OM integration for e-rec (assigning positions to requisition) and get the Information via customer RFC function module directly in the smartform (if the security guys allow the access to the HR system from the e-rec system).
For question 3. The manager should be able to see the decision maker data overview. Here you can include whatever you want as you can replace it with a customer developed smartform.

  • E-Recruiting 6.0 - Candidate Name Format

    Hi Experts,
I am currently using E-Recruiting 6.0 in an integrated environment.
When I display an internal candidate name at the E-Recruiting 'candidate Overview' transaction, it is always displayed in the format of "Last Name / Postal Code".
I want it to display in the format of 'First Name / Last Name".  I have configured IMG-> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner -> Persons -> Maintain Name Formatting Rules (V_T0050 country 'SG' and T77S0 RECFA - BPCOU parameter to be 'SG', but it has no impact on the name display format.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,

Did you fill out the RECFA BPNAM as well.
    Did you solve it now?

  • ERec: External Candidate as a Recruiter??

    Hi All,
In EHP4, can we map the External Candidate as a Recruiter, bcoz our client is hiring few candiates on contract basis and want them to do the 'Recruiter' role from frontend.
But as per our Standard functionality, HR Objects can be created successfully for internal candidates only.
We created the CP in HCM system, but that CP is not transfering to E-rec system. HR Objects itself not at all transferd to E-rec system for external candidate.
Any one can share their valauble sugessions on this scenario.
    Thanks,
    Asha...

    Hello Asha,
handling of contract workers differs from company to company.
If the contract workers are in the HR core system as active employees they will be transfered to the e-recruiting system using the standand functionality to create internal candidates for them.
If the contract workers are in the HR system but not in active status, you could use the ALE outbound BAdI to rewrite their status for the IDoc (infotype 0000, field STAT2). This way the e-recruiting system would also use the standard functionality to create internal candidates.
If the contract workers are not in the HR core system at all, I would use the e-recruiting administrator function or the report RCF_CREATE_USER to create internal candidates for them directly on the e-recruiting system. Use a number range for their employee Ids which is blocked in HR core so there won't be any issues with future employees transferred.

  • Get candidate name

    hi all,
I need to get the name of a candidate name using CL_HRREF_CANDIDATE class . It has 2 method GET() and GET_CAND_DESCRIPTION(). I am taking Candidate id from HRP5133.
can you please give me the steps to find the name of the candidate.
    Regards,
    Anirban

    Hello Anirban
Below you see how you can retrieve the name of the candidate (NOTE: I found only class CL_HRHCF_CANDIDATE in our ERP):
DATA: go_candidate   TYPE REF TO cl_hrhcf_candidate.
    DATA: gs_hrp5133      TYPE hrp5133.
    DATA: gd_descript      TYPE BU_DESCRIP.
    DATA: gd_fullname      TYPE BU_NAME1TX.
      go_candidate = cl_hrhcf_candidate( user = gs_hrp5133-uname ).
      gd_descript   = go_candidate->get_cand_description( ).   " Or use public attribute:
      gd_fullname = go_candidate->centraldataperson-fullname.
Instead of the username you can use also use the candidate ID (persumable HRP5133-OTJID).

  • Candidate Data -- E-Recruiting

In Create Internal Applications / External Applications service (Recruiter role) in the Candidate Data group
there is title / second title field
What is purpose of this field, what values are typically used and where do you make the settings.
I check in IMG there is no table to set for title / second title
    How others use it?

    Hello,
These are academic titles/qualifications granted to students after pursuing university education. After completing your Bachelor's degree you will get academic title 'Bachelor' or 'Doctor' title after studying your Ph.D. Its possible to have multiple titles and this is why there are 2 seperate fields in my opinion so you can enter at least 2 if you have them.
The values are configured under spro in Cross-Application Components > SAP Business Partner > Business Partner > Persons > Name Components > Maintain Academic Titles. They are saved in table TSAD2. When assigned to a candidate they are saved in the BUT000 against the BP for the candidate in fields TITLE_ACA1 and TITLE_ACA2.

    3. Run report RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES to update table T77RCF_INT_PUB.
Still we are getting error as mentioned above. Can anybody help on this?
    Regards,
    Purnima

    Dear Purnima,
You should have a look at it in client 000. This is where you can find the table entries how they are shipped with SAP. Problem is that this is the search customizing and if we have other customizing entries in our system they don't suit to your system because I found one different entry in table V77RCF_SMG_NAVI. Please can you check out all tables and compare them with your client 000? (all tables in IMG candidate search > search profile and search templates).
    Hope it helps,
    Regards

  • How to interface Candidates from Peopleclick Recruitment to SAP HCM

    Hi all,
We have the requirement to upload candidates personal data from Peopleclick Recruitment Management System to table T752F in order to run afterwards the transaction PA48, that actually needs also to be extended in order to verify if it is new hire or re-hire, but it is another topic.
I would like to know if there is any standard iDOC/RFC that can be used to do this technical upload?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    /Luis T.

    Hi Luis!
To load applicant, you can use the BAPI HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA or HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION, in this case always using TCLAS = B.
    All others parameters have filled.
If you wand, send-me a e-mail in the follow ad: mlanzoni at br.ibm.com.

  • Debugging WDA External Candidate Application - E-Recruitment

Hi I am trying to enhance E-Recruitment External candidate registration and Candidate profile applications which are built in Webdynpro ABAP.
My problem is I am not able to debug these applications using external(http) breakpoint as the breakpoint is set using my ID and the application user by default uses the user RCF_PUBLIC( I think so).
Please help me in finding a way to debug these applications.
    @Moderators
I'm not sure where to post this message, in Webdynpro abap seciton or HCM. when I searched I saw a couple of similar questions in this section, hence posted here.
    Thanks,

    Guys,
Thanks for all the replies, they were all helpful.
Here is how I was able to debug it.
Transaction SICF -> select the WDA application ->activate Debugger(edit->debugging->activate debugger)->change the User to 'RCF_PUBLIC' or watever the user maintained in logon data for that service.
now set your breakpoint and test the application. I was able to successfully debug it.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • No candidate found -- E-Recruiting

We are testing E-Rec. I am seeing the following error:
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_MASS_PROC_ACT_BL=====CM001 line 226
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_APPLICATION_BL=======CM004 line 84
I assume because of these two errors, this error also occurs?
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_MASS_PROC_ACT_BL=====CM001 line 226
    can you help us?

If the error in transaction SLG1 says: No candidate could be found for US XXXX
Then you are getting this error because user XXXX is not linked to a candidate object in the e-Recruiting System. You can resolve this by doing the following:
Run program RCF_CREATE_USER through tcode SE38 or SE80 to create a candidate for user XXXX.
    I hope this will help...

    Hi,
Kindly check for this setting in table : V77RCF_SPT_AATYP
Assign Attachment Types to a Search Profile Type
    Use
In this IMG activity, you determine for each search profile type which attachment types should be taken into account during the full text search. The full text search is only meaningful for attachment types that have already been assigned to the object type of the search profile type.
    Requirements
You have defined the attachment types in which you want to perform the full text search.
You have defined search profile types and assigned them to object types.
In the IMG activity Define Use of Attachment Types, you have assigned attachment types to the object types that are assigned to the search profile types.
If this resolves your querie, then award with points.

  • How to differentiate an internal from an external candidate in E-recruiting

    Hi experts,
I need your help. I'm creating a Z report to show the % of internal and external candidates who were hired or choosen in a selection process. I will have two columns the first one will show the internal candidates and the second one the external candidates. I'll also display the reasons why a candidate were reproved on the selection, for this reason I also have to separate internal from external candidates.
I've seem some threads where you say that the best way is to find the relation NA<CP<P. Is this the only way or there is any other way as a module function where I put NA and it show me if it's an internal or external candidate.
    I'll really appreciate any help!
    Best regards,
    Thais

    Hello Thais,
reportig in SAP E-Recruiting is quite difficult due to the missing historization in some infotypes. A lot of changes are not historized so it is not possible to get any other valid information than the current status. Looking back into the past is in the best case unsure in the worst impossible. External candidates become internal candidates on hiring and internal candidates become external candidates on termination, maternity leave, ....
It is very difficult to get the percentage of external und internal hirings based on e-recruiting data. It is much easier to get this from the HR core as (at least in a perfect world) you just count hiring actions and org. change actions. Of course not every org. change is usually an "internal hiring" in e-recruiting.
If you want to get these numbers purely from e-recruiting data, the best approach from my experience is getting the candidacies in hired status -> get the application for the candidacy -> get the publication for the application -> get the publication channel candidate type. This information is not changing over the time and not depending on the candidate. Restrictions of this approach are usually direct assignments from talent pool, if internal and external candidates can release their profile. If you do not request an application for the candidacy you can not determine the candidate type. Furthermore in many organizations the e-recruiting process ends with hiring the cadidate. Noone maintains rejections for the no shows so you get too many hirings from the e-recruting data. But perhaps this approach works in your scenario.
    Kind Regards
PS: The method mentioned above works fine to find out if a candidate is currently an internal or external candidate. Unfortunately these methods are often to slow for mass use in reporting. So from a performance point of view reading HRP1001 relations and HRP5102 INACTIVE flag is the better solution.
