Cannot connect to iTunes or app store on new iPad... Tried all links that support sent!

I cannot connect to iTunes or the app store, iCloud is working, my account is valid on my iPhone, I have tried all support links and ideas that have come up in forums but still nothing...  Any more ideas?.

    I think you should probably also read the iPad User Guide. You didn't say what version of iOS your iPad is running, so here's the links to both the iOS 6 and iOS 7 (PDF) versions:

    Hi there,
    I'm super late in updating the iOS on my phone because I heard people were having so many problems with this one. I updated today and low and behold - issue. In order to make room for this update I reset my phone and erased all content - then preformed the update to iOS 8.1.1. This is done and I logged back in and started to set it up again.
    However, now I can't connect to either itunes or the app store. I've already been on apple.com and gone through the troubleshooting section there. Meaning:
    - My date and time are correct.
    I've turned off automatic setting, made sure it was correct and turned it back on as a second step.
    - Obviously it's updated to the current 8.1.1
    - I'm unable to connect either on LTE or when connected to Wifi however, my computer connects to wifi and can get to itunes.
    Even though I am connect to wifi - data is turned on for both itunes and app store.
    - Restrictions are off
    I have fully closed the apps and restarted my phone after taking the above steps but still no luck. I don't get a specific error number only "Cannot Connect to itunes".
    Any ideas with this one?

    I had the exact same issue. try log out of the App Store in Settings. Then make sure to close all apps running, and log in again. worked for me. Good luck!

  • Cannot connect to iTunes or App store after 2.0.1 firmware update

    I purchase a G3 iPhone last week at 5th Ave. NY and everything was working super, I've been purchasing games, apps, music without a hiccup until I update the firmware last Friday, now a "Cannot connect to iTunes" message pops up when trying to go to either iTunes or Apps Store. All other computers and also a 2G iPhone with 2.0 firmware and wireless devices connects fine, but my new iPhone.
    I've done some google and found many others with same issue, weird I don't see any here. Any ideas, I tried resetting all, reseting networks, all devices, also restoring the iphone again. I even delete the firmware and download it again in case it was something wrong there but no.
    Every time I try to use app store (sometimes) i get in and when I select anything a message pops up indicating "cannot connect to itunes" . Sometimes it pops up from the start, The same with iTunes.
    Should i take it back to Apple store? Is it a 2.0.1 bug or what?

    hi, before reboot of router and iPad, i tried downloading an app in iTunes via PC and synced it to the device. that worked. has it still anything to do with servers?

    My iPhone 4 suddenly stopped loading websites (Safari cannot open the page because it cannot connect to the server) on 3G except for Google or any Apple pages.     My device is an iPad 3.  when i try to either do updates or purchase items from either itunes or the app store I get "Cannot connect to the itunes store". Anyone know why this is?

    Since this morning, i cannot access to neither iTunes nor App Store, i tried with all my apple products including iPhone iPad and MacBook. It worked perfectly yesterday. I am using 2 different Apple account and even after i have reset the password, i can only connect to iCould but not iTunes or App Store? i saw on the internet that it is happening globally.   • 1st Gen iPod Touch cannot login to iTunes or App Store

    My relative's 1st Gen iPod Touch (fully updated) cannot login to iTunes or App Store. Specifically, when the prompt on the iPod touch for their Apple ID, they can type in their ID and password fine, but tapping on "cancel" or "OK" does nothing. The iPod touch is effectively frozen, the only option being to hit the Home button to get out.
    This happens when trying to purchase an item in iTunes, the App Store, and when accessing the Apple ID account through Settings.app on the iPod touch.
    An Apple Store genius recommended restoring, but this did not help. Other internet features (safari, mail, facebook, etc.) work fine. They are still able to download apps through iTunes and then sync them over. Any suggestions?

    We just tried to do a fresh restore to factory settings. Unfortunately, the exactly same problem persists.
    A little more information, after the username and password are entered, OK can be pressed, but the prompt doesn't go away, and there is a persistent "loading..." sign in the background. This is where the iPod hangs. Here's a picture of what it looks like.

    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Make sure you go into "Settings" on iphone and update things that need updated info, like icloud. Turn your iPhone off and on. Beyond that, good luck. I had to go into Apple store 40 mins away from me, they still didnt fix.

    Typically this indicates a device that has been hacked to be unlocked or jailbroken.
    If that is the case, no support can be provided here.

  • Issue after purchasing from apps store for New IPad

    When I purchased apps from apps store for New IPad, it keeps pops out the information with " cannot connect to the iTune store," but my wifi are going well on the safari for every browsing, skype ...etc., even browse the apps store, I tried to reset the iPad once.     I've encountered a similar issue after having restored my iPad from a backup saved on a MBA. All PDFs (+100) are gone. The customized headings of the categories are still available but no more PDF. I guess that those PDFs were saved on the MBA during the synchronization of my iPad via iTunes. Is there a way to restore them ?

    Is the AppleID listed in Settings --> Store and Settings --> iCloud the same?
    If it is a totally different ID and not a slight variation of yours, I would definitely take it back to the store. You may have bought a returned item that had been setup previously.

Maybe you are looking for
