Cannot deactivate Captivate License offline
We have a volumen license for Captivate 6 in our company. Due to the security settings in our laptops Captivate cannot connect to the internet so we used the off-line process to activate the license in one of our laptops. Now we want to release it and deactivate it, in this laptop, but the Help>Deactivate option appears shadowed.
The Adobe Application Manager also fails connecting to the internet, although it can be updated.
How can we proceed? We haven't found any reference in the forum or anywhere else.

Please uninstall Adobe Captivate 6.0 from this computer and if you have remaining number of seats for your Captivate 6.0 license, then you can install it on the other computer

I want to install my licensed copy of CS4 (from the CD--Windows version) onto a new computer that I recently purchased. My OLD computer died in July. I cannot deactivate the CS4 software on that computer. It has now been gutted (because a local tech guy was trying to fix it, but he couldn't) and I no longer even have the computer. So I would like to transfer that license to my new computer.
I have been able to "install" the software from the CD, but it doesn't completely "work". It looked like everything was OK initially but it won't recognize certain keystrokes, etc. and is not functional, which I figure is the software's way of saying "too many installs on this license."
So now what do I do...is there any way I can get "permission" to install this so it will work?I doubt the license is affecting the performance - it might be a case of the software being too old for the machine.
In any case, you can contact Adobe support thru chat and have them reset your activation count to eliminatre your doubts regarding the license.

To me the feature name is VM-IVR-SESS but as show the licence clear <feature> command says that it is not a valid name.

To activate the license for IVR sessions, use the license activate ivr sessions command in Cisco Unity Express EXEC mode. Using the no form of this command sets the usage to zero and disables the feature.

I think this may depend on the version of Captivate 2 you have. What I mean by that is there is sometimes something like volume licensing at play.
I'd begin by clicking the Help menu and seeing if Deactivate is an option. If so, that's how you do it.
I'm further guessing that if deactivate isn't an option there, your worries are probably unfounded with thinking you need to deactivate before installing elsewhere.

Activating Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on new computer when old computer died and cannot deactivate
My computer died with acrobat professional 8 installed. When I tried to install and activate acrobat 8 professional on my new computer, it would not activate until I deactivated the software on my old computer. My old computer is completely dead and therefore I cannot deactivate the software. Please advise me.
LeoCustomer service is terrible. They don't give us the tools to help ourselves, so we are FORCED to call their service number. Then we get transferred 3 times, then disconnected - just to have to repeat the process again. Adobe recorded phone messages advises "due to high call volume, estimated wait time is 12 minutes". An HOUR AND A HALF later while still waiting on hold, I get disconnected.
I've tried the customer portal. They CLOSED my case without resloving anything or even commenting!
Where is Adobe's accountability? They don't mind charging high prices for their products, and they certainly wouldn't accept me telling them they'll have to call my 800# and wait on hold in order to get their payment. But once we purchase their products we are a prisoner of this process. There is no web interface to deactivate products. Hard drive crashes do not permit the manual deactivation on our end.
Adobe needs to either answer their phone without disconnecting me, answer their case number number without closing it for no reason, or give us - the customer - the tools to deactivate our own products. If activation can be done over the internet upon installation - then deactivation can't be much more difficult.
I honestly can't imagine how it can be legal to sell a product then cripple an owner from using it. -
App-V 5.0 Sequencing Office 2010 - Cannot verify the License for this Application KMS

I Sequenced Office 2010 Professional Plus x86 on an App-V 5.0 Sequencer Client (x64) and streamed it to Windows 7 x64 and Windows Server 2012. While i was sequencing, i followed the Articles at

I also tried to create a new Package and type in the KMS Client Key directly to Office, didnt work. In a third Sequencing Process (also new Sequence) i tried with an another Script what i have found: msiexec /i OffVirt.msi PROPLUS=1 KMSSERVICENAME=”SERVERNAME”

Best regardsI am having this same exact issue; however, I have done everything in the App-V 5.0 Sequencing document, and I have enabled Set-AppVClientConfiguration -EnablePackageScripts 1.
The sequencer is on a Win 7 32-bit machine, so I used the following:
msiexec
/i OffVirt.msi ADDLOCAL=OSpp,OSpp_Core PROPLUS=1
KMS is registered in DNS, so I shouldn't have to specify KMS.
As soon as I start Office on a machine, setup screen comes up briefly, and then I see the:
"Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this application. A repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The application will now shut down."
I would use the package accelerator; however, it's a new Pro Plus 2010 build, and it says 12 files are missing from the install (files like the actual OffVirt.msi and manifest files).
This is getting a little frustrating, as I've already tried the package 4 different times. I also tried this version:
msiexec/i OffVirt.msi ADDLOCAL=Click2runMapi,Click2runOWSSupp,Click2runWDS,OSpp,OSpp_Core PROPLUS=1
I am also using the latest SP2 client, Sequencer, and then the AppV 5.0 SP1 server is using the latest hotfix 4 which was released in April 2014. -

1. Exchange 2010 Version 14.3 (Build 123.4).
2. Echange 2013 Version 15.0 (Build 1044.25).
I have created new OAB and arbitration mailbox following

How did you create a new OAB and an OAB Generation Mailbox? When creating new OABs after Exchange CU5, we need to specify the GeneratingMailbox property.
For example:

Set-Mailbox "BK Arbitration OAB" –Arbitration –OABGen $true

Please god . deactivate this product. Your troubleshooters dont work, cannot deactivate. I am using RETAIL, adobe acrobat xi.Connected to internet. On for over 20 min. Open to deactivate greyed out. I have checked the license manager service and it was the problem , it wouldn't start but i wasnt related to hardware issue
I found out from other community that it is a bug in my version 7.1.3 that when license exceeded certain limit that license service doesn't work
so i resolved the issue by deleting some licenses files
Also this issue was reported solved in 7.1.5 so i and doing the upgrade
anyway i have bought version 10.5 and will do the migration

You can use NI's License Manager software to deactivate a license.
Open License Manager, found in the National Instruments startup directory.
Expand the tree on the left hand side to expose the item you wish to deactivate.
Right click, and deactivate.
*edit* In the case of hardware that has failed, you should be able to just go ahead and re-license on a new machine. However it couldn't hurt to send an email to NI Support indicating that you have done so.

After more than a year of use, I now receive the following error message for all Office Applications ....
"Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot verify the license for this product. You should repair the Office program by using the Control Panel." When I Click the OK button, the application is terminated.
I tried using the Control Panel to repair Office, and I have tried to re-install Office. I still get the same message. Note, during repair or installation, my Product ID key is accepted.It is working. If you have 64bit machine please type cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14 --> cscript

(2) Mac G5 inactive with one cs3 license and original disks in a distant location
(3) MacBook active with a 2nd license with me
