Cannot get OWA back

I deleted the OWA virtual directory by mistake.  I uninstalled the CAS server role and reinstalled it.  I ran get-owavirtualdirectory and OWA does not come up.  Yet everytime I try to reinstall the CAS directory I get this:

Check info:
1.      Do it mean that we can’t see /OWA virtual directory after run the cmdlet below?
Get-OwaVirtualDirectory -Identity "CASServerName\owa (default web site)"
2.      Based on the error info, it seems that the /OWA virtual directory already exists. Please open the IIS console on the CAS server and confirm the existence of the /OWA virtual directory
3.      Even we can’t see /OWA virtual directory by using steps above, still doesn’t mean it not exists, please go to check the IIS 7.0 Metabase
a.      Find adsutil.vbs script on the CAS server, usually it’s in SystemDriver\Inetpub\AdminScripts
b.      Then, please open cmd window, and “cd” to the path above
c.       Use the command below to check the metabase, see if there’s any remained trace about  /OWA virtual directory
Cscript adsutil.vbs enum w3svc/1/root
Possible cause: last uninstallation of CAS server didn’t remove the trace of /OWA virtual directory completely, so remained bad cache in Metabase was preventing the recreation of /OWA virtual directory
Resolution 1: The IIS configuration files are located in ApplicationHost.config. This file is located in %windir%\system32\inetsrv\config. Found the below entry even with no owa vdir in IIS manager, remove the entries below and reinstall the CAS server role

Resolution 2: If the resolution 1 fails or if deleting the entries is not practical (there are too many) another option is to use the following steps:
a.      Remove CAS and Hub roles (if present)
b.      Remove IIS from the server
c.       Restart the server
Notes: If the ApplicationHost.config is still present, it can be deleted
d.      Reinstall IIS, and CAS and Hub roles (if present)

    I can give a few suggestions on Photoshop CC 2014, but Lightroom is a separate forum and you should ask Lr questions there.
    First close Photoshop.
    Then start Photoshop by double-clicking on it's icon and very quickly after that, hold down the ctrl-alt-shift keys until you see the reset dialog. answer "Yes" to delete settings, and let Photoshop continue to load.
    It's tricky to do and may take a few tries, but at least it should reset Photoshop CC 2014 to defaults.

    Also the mail is acting very funny by not getting the rules work in a proper method.  Is ther a software to repair mail.

    i did both of them, but still the while sending the mail the diolog box is not showing up and also the spelling and grammer does not do the spelling check. 
    This problem just started for about 3 to 4 days now.  earlier it was working normally.

  • Using my iMac to fill in forms online, the screen suddenly fades off to the side and I cannot get it back.  so frustrating!!

    The entire web screen of the form page I am filling out slides to the right and disappears, seemingly under a previous form that was not yet filled out, but I can't find it to retrieve it.  I suspect this wireless mouse might be causing it?  In general I find going back to a previous web page to be very awkward compared to windows.  I always get this message, do you want to submit this form again?  In windows, I could use a pull down arrow from my browser bar to locate a previous page.  Maybe Mac isn't for me.

    Okay. I hope I can remeber all my steps exactly because I fixed my own problem...with absolutely no help from Apple. I opened itunes. I connected my ipod touch to my computer. On my itunes page that shows my songs in the upper right side under the search library box there is an itunes button and since I am connected there is an ipod button. DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW in the ipod button...just click in the mail part of the button. On mine it opened to a summary page that gave info on my ipod. The menu bar has Summary, Apps, Tones, Music and more. I clicked on the Music button. I chose to Sync the entire music library. That replaced what was on my ipod but what was on there was going to be put back on so I was okay with it. I then clicked the Sync button on the lower right side and it sync'd and all my songs are on my ipod again. I hope this might help someone else. Good luck.

    If you are saying you can't turn off find my phone because it is still using an old ID, you need to change your ID back to the old address at My Apple ID turn off find my phone then change your ID back at my Apple ID.

    The icon ;in my task bar for the volume has disappeared and I cannot get it back.  I tried the customization feature, and it says that the icon is visible but it is not.  then it says the feature will appear when it become available??? When will that be and why has it gone?

    Is this a laptop? If so i have that problem periodically. Turn over the laptop >Take out the battery> turn over the laptop again> push/ hold the power button about 15 seconds> reinstall battery. This worked for me.

    There isn't an iCloud app, I'm not sure what it is that you have deleted, but it isn't iCloud.

    My Firefox has been crashing every day sometimes several times a day. I have emailed your staff back many times looking for a reason for the crashed without any response. I have been able to get by because I would restore the settings and continue what I was doing. WELL….this last crash has disappeared from any way of getting it back and IT HAD SOME REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT OPENED WINDOWS I WAS WORKING ON (EMPLOYMENT INFO, I AM UNEMPLOYED!)     Nick, sorry to hear about that. I'm not sure where you are sending the emails, but if you use the form to submit your crash information, that goes into a database for review by the developers instead of coming to the support volunteers here.
    Did you try the History > Restore Previous Session command? Firefox sometimes saves form data in the session history. This data may age out, so you should use that menu item as soon as possible.
    Going forward, consider installing the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/ Lazarus: Form Recovery] extension if you are filling long forms and Firefox is unstable.
    With respect to the crashes, there are many possible reasons for Firefox to crash. Have you reviewed the help articles for diagnosis? For example: [[Firefox crashes - Troubleshoot, prevent and get help fixing crashes]].

    My browser home page has been hijacked by Conduit and I cannot get it back. I have tried:
    - changing the home page in Options
    - removing all toolbars and extensions
    - removing all Conduit-related programs via control panel applet
    - using the about:config to search for 'Conduit' and reset all config lines
    - scanning with SuperAntiSpyware
    - using the Mozilla profile manager to delete my Firefox profile
    - using Help-> Troubleshooting Information -> Reset Firefox
    - searching and deleting line containing 'Conduit' in the .js files in my profile
    No matter what I do, whenever Firefox starts, my homepage is set back to Conduit. How can I fix this?

    I have just had the same problem but found part of the solution in this forum.
    The first thing to do is to type into the Firefox address bar about:config and hit enter.
    Acknowledge that you'll be careful!
    In the search bar type "conduit" and hit enter.
    Nullify all the entries by right clicking and select "reset". There are likely to be a lot.
    Now, what the other forum thread failed to say was to then go to Options, Privacy, and under History select "Remember History".
    Next, in the same window, select "Delete Individual Cookies" and search for "conduit". Delete all cookies containing the word conduit.
    Close and reopen Firefox and all should be well.
    As an added precaution I have added the Block Site extension to Firefox and in the options have added "search.conduit.com", which will hopefully stop this pest from reappearing. DO NOT SELECT THIS HYPERLINK FROM THIS POST!
