Cannot print Check overflow on blank paper

Dear all,
We have an issue of check for payment.
1) We are using stub-check-stub PLD (system)
2) Administration >> System initialization >> Print preference >> Per document >> Check for payment:
print on: check stock, overflow 'blank paper', number of copies '2', max lines '10'
I suppose to have all invoices info on a blank paper instead of print on the check stub if the line number > 10.
But actually, SAP print it on check stub.
I am on SAP2007 SP01 PL09, SQL 2005, no 3rd party add-on, US localization (CA localization doesn't have this issue when I use the same PLD)
Any idea? Thanks in advance.
Yuka

One more thing, I have a customer on SAP2007 PL45, he is fine on this issue. Not sure if this is a SAP bug on some specific PL. That customer's database is huge, I cannot download it to my local PC and test. Can I have someone test this issue?
I cannot reproduce it on SBODemo DB as well. Is there anywhere I should check?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Yuka

  • Cannot print Checks - account in use

I am getting an error message when I try to print checks for payment.
"You cannot pring checks while another user is accessing this checking account [message 854-35].
No one else is on the system at this time.

  • Every time I do a print job, My printer spits out extra blank paper. I have a HP Photosmart Premium

I have HP Photosmart Premium.  Everytime I do a print job my printer spits out extra paper.  Sometime it says something Like Page 2 of 2   and other time  it is just blank ,  Some of the pages have a gray line across the bottom.  I try to reuse what I can, but would like to know how to stop this.

Typically this is an error in the software connection with the printer.  However, one can test this to narrow the issue down by printing a self test page or by making a copy with the printer.  If the unit produces no extra pages, then most likely it is coming from the computer.
If you are USB connected, then I would advise unplugging the USB cable to the printer and restarting the PC.  While the PC is restarting, I would advise performing a Hard Reset to the printer.
    * Unplug printer while powered on
    * Unplug other end of power cord from wall outlet
    * Wait 30 seconds
    * Plug unit back in for power
There is also a document with steps to troubleshoot when a printer is producing blank sheets of paper.  To access the document, click here.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Cannot print checks "while another user is accessing the account"

I am trying to print couple of checks but I receive this message:
u201CCannot print while another user is accessing the account message [854-235]u201D
I check there is no one using the system just me and still same issue.
    Thanks.

    Hi
Please check  where your printing has been locked under house bank setting .
    Here you go in detail
You are requested to please check Note no 957329 regarding your issue.
The following steps should be performed:
    1. Click on Administration -> Setup -> Banking -> House Bank Accounts
    2. Scroll to right hand side of screen for column Lock Checks Printing
    3. Untick the box
When trying to print a check you should now no longer recieve the error
    message.
    Thank you

  • Can't print PDF file. Printer just sends out blank paper. Printer will print other non-PDF files.

Printer company said it was an adobe problem

Save the file on your desktop or in your download directory, open it with adobe acrobat reader then print it.
I've got the same issue, apparently IE7 is having an hard time dealing with PDF files...

  • How to control the line number printed on check overflow

    Dear All,
Our customer is on SAP2007A SP01 PL07, SQL2005, US localization. They don't have 3rd party add-on up and running when they print the checks. I have their database restored on PL08.
Administration >> System Initialization >> Print Preferences >> Per document >>
Print on: Check stock >> Overflow Blank Paper >> Maximum lines 10
Then if the check has more than 10 lines of invoices, SAP will print it on a blank paper.
However, the system print 12 lines on the blank paper ( < 1/2 of the paper) and go to the next page. How can we let the system print the invoice info on one page (One paper looks like could have over 40 lines).
I also reproduced this on SBODemo DB. May I have someone try it? Before I log SAP a tech support message, we would like to make sure if this is a SAP behavior.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear all,
I did more test today in their database.
    1) Use stub-check-stub (system) PLD: Overflow is 12 lines per page (1/3 of the page)
    2) Use stub-stub-check PLD: Overflow is 32 lines per page (2/3 of the page)
    3) Use No stub-stub-check PLD: Overflow is 34 lines per page (2/3 of the page)
    4) Use long stub-check PLD: Overflow is 30 lines per page (2/3 of the page)
    5) Use check-stub-stub: Overflow is 48 lines per page (full page)
It looks like only check-stub-stub can print overflow invoices info on the full page. Other PLDs can only print overflow invoices info on the stubs. This can be reproduced on CA and US databases.
Is this a system behavior or a bug? If I cannot have an answer here, whom should I speak to? Thanks.

  • How to print Checks in certain order than by Vendor Numbers?

We need to print certain batch of checks in different order than SAP standard(Vendor Number), is there anyway to make SAP to print them in different order?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

    hi Frank,
Banking>Outgoing Payments>Checks for Payment . From that window you can access the print layout for checks and customise it to suit your requirements.
    or,
If you are using SBO 2005, I would recommend going to Banking > Document Printing... See help details as pasted below.
    Prerequisites
    The following definitions are set:
    · The required parameters in Administration > System Initialization > Print Preferences >Per Document tab >Checks for Payment option
    · The print-related parameters for each house bank account in Administration > Setup >Banking >House Bank Accounts.
    Procedure
    1. Choose Banking >Document Printing.
The Document Printing – Selection Criteria window appears.
    2. In the Document Type field, select Checks for Payment. Enter all other parameters and choose OK.
The Print Checks for Payment window appears.
    3. All checks are selected by default. Deselect checks that you do not want to print.
    4. Ensure that the Next Check No. is correct. Change it if necessary.
    5. Load the printer with the correct check pages or blank paper. Then choose Print.
The Check Number Confirmation window appears.
    6. Collect the printed checks from the printer and compare them to the checks displayed in the window.
    7. If the numbers assigned by SAP Business One do not match the printed checks, you can change them. Correct the number of the first check and press TAB. The following check numbers are updated accordingly.
Only checks with successive numbers issued by the same account will be updated accordingly. For example, if you change the check number from 999 to 2000, check numbers 1000, 1001, 1002 and so on will be updated to 2001, 2002 and 2003.
If the check numbers are not successive, you must correct each one of them manually.
    8. By default, the status of all checks in the window is confirmed. Change the status if necessary.
    9. Choose Update or OK.
    Result
The numbers assigned to confirmed checks are marked as used.
The Next Check No. field in the House Bank Accounts – Setup window is updated.
Check numbers used for overflow printing are marked as voided.
Checks with the Unconfirmed status are marked as printed, but the numbers assigned to them are not marked as used.
    hope this helps u.
    cheers,
    Hema.

  • HP officejet 4630 won't print on both sides of paper

Cannot print on both sides of paper. The backsideprints first, then wait for ink to dry, front side starts to print then stops with a windows error message popping up on screen saying cannot print document.
I have found that I cannot print multiple pages either. For example, I decided to print the 4 page document as single pages only (since double sided wouldn't work) and the results were first page prints second page prints about a third and then all stop with error message that printer cannot print the pdf document. so I had to select each page seperately to finnally get all four pages printed. HP print and scan diagnostics says theres is no problem. Windows diagnostics says there is no problem.
Obviously there is a problem can any one offer advice and solution?
    Thanks

  • My Macs cannot print two sides if using borther HL5370DW series

My Mac Desktop and Mac Laptop cannot print two sides of one paper when I use brother HL 5370DW.  It started from last week.  My PC cannot print two-sided paper by brother HL5370 DW, and my Mac can print two-sided paper if I use the HP printer on Mac.  I highly suspect the problem is from the updates of Mac.  Do you have the same or similar problem these days?
I have tried to re-install the brother printer driver, and it did not work.
    Thank you!

Have a read of this post. These Brother owners found the same issue after a recent driver update and managed to resolve the problem.

  • Problem with printing checks from quicken 2004 - using Vista (32bit) and Officejet J6480

I have used my quicken 2004 version with my old XP with no problems and HP officejet J6480 All-in-One.  Just got a new computer and everything was going great until I went to print checks - it prints one line and then stops printing.  I assume the problem is with the Vista - is the Quicken 2004 too old?

  • Void the check but cannot print another check by using the same check no.

    Dear All,
Our customer need to print the check on number #10.
However, we already print a check by using #10.
Then I void that check and go to house bank and change the 'Next Check No.' to 10.
But the system still print the check on number #11
    Please help. Thanks a lot.
The other question is, when I take a look their database, I cannot find check #9. But if I would like to print check#9, the system said it is already in the database. Why? Thanks

We test printing check on their production database
So check A printed on check #10 check b#11 check #12 printed on the blank paper.
Then they said they would like to print the real check from number #10. But the system will not allow us to do that. It ask us start from #13.
So, they decide to write the check manually for check #10, check #11, check #12. Then they will have 3 checks in the system they didn't print it. And next time, they can start from #13.
The problem is, for the 3 checks they write manually, the system didn't print it. So, every time, they are showing on 'to be printed' list (actually our customer write it manually). What should we do to block those 3 checks if they don't want to void it? Thanks.
