Cannot update Override ATP flag on sales order line

Unable to update the override ATP flag on sales order line.
Is there any way that this functionality can be achieved.

    When trying to enable Item Attributes then I am getting a message "This field cannot be updated as there are open sales order lines". I cancelled the Sales Order ( which was having only 1 sales order line and that is also cancelled) but still I am getting the same message.

    Issue got fixed. There was an open Sales order Line because of that line the issue was coming. After cancelling that SO Line, Users were able to update the Item field.

    When I tried to re-atp 1 of the sales order line item it is giving error as mentioned below. Please let me know where this fix qty indicator in the sales order and how can I de-activate the same.  Thanks in advance....

    Diagnosis
         The item does not have any open, confirmed quantities and the "fix
         quantity" indicator is activated. This means that the customer has
         agreed on a zero quantity and nothing is delivered.
    System Response
         The system issues a corresponding message.
    Procedure
         If you want the item to receive a confirmed quantity after all which can
         be delivered later, you should de-activate the fix quantity indicator.

    Hi all,
    How i override ATP values during sales order creation.
    The scenario is that we need to migrate open orders from an existing legacy system to SAP.
    While migrating these orders, we need to make sure that dates on the schdule lines are same as they are in the old system. Hence we need to override ATP.

  • Error in cancelling sales order line using process order API

    Hi,
    I have created a sales order which is in booked status. I want to cancel the order line . when I am running the concurrent request I am getting the following error message.I am using the process order API to perform this operation.
    API Error Message You are not allowed to update Inventory Item because:
    line has been booked
    API Error Message You are not allowed to update Line Type because:
    Line is Booked

  • Field added in Aditional data tab of sales order line item at screen 8459

    Hi all,
    My problem is .
    I have appended one field in VBAP table, given it a name "WBS ELEMENT"
    The field is getting displayed in VA23 as well as VA02 Transaction.
    when i create sales order with the quotation reference,
    the "WBS Element"  of line item of quotation should get updated in "WBS Eleement "  of sales order line item
             This i am doing by triggering user exit.
    Problem is:
    Once Quotation  line item get copied to the sales order line item
    and the screen is in front of you with those details,
    before saving sales order .
    if you go at the sales order line item withou saving the document
    The field i have created in the screen 8459 i.e WBS Element ,doesnt get displayed.
    how could i retain the field Ihave created on screen 8459
    while creating the sales order from quotation before saving that sales order.

    Hi Vikram,
    It seems as it has been coded only to save the values into the new field that you have appended to VBAP. But before saving if the user wants to see the field, it is blank. You can try coding in PBO (process before output) of the relevant screen as follows:
    1. Get the reference of the quotation. Something like XVBAP-VGBEL will give this number.
    2. Get the value of Z field in VBAP by passing this quotation.
    3. Copy the above value to the corresponding Z field in XVBAP (or any internal table which holds VBAP data before saving)

  • ATP Issue in Sales Order change

    Hi Experts,
    I have implemented ATP exit "EXIT_SAPLATPC_002" for Sales Order. Every thing is fine and working as per my logic. There are two tables from the exit and they are T_ATPCSX and T_MDVEX. This is coming into the exit with some values. Based on my logic I have to search for a batch and if it successful then I will update tables T_ATPCSX and T_MDVEX. Everything is working fine till I found an error in standard SAP. In change Sales Order (Va02) when I select a line item and clicks on ATP button then it is not performing as per my logic even after updating the tables and when I change date for any item and then press enter then it is working as per my logic. In both the cases the same ATP logic is running but still I am unable to understand why system is behaving weird based on the activity I do in Sales Order.
    The problem is with the ATP button in sales order. There might be a problem even in Sales Order creation also.
    Please help me. ?????

    Kindly check might be for that material , you have already created Delivery (without PGI ).
    Also go to MMBE with that material & check where this quantity is lying there.

    Need to update a field mfrgr of VBAP table with some user defined values on selection screen parameter.
    I have selected all the Sales order line items in an internal table which need to be updated.
    How can I use the update command with set expression to do the same ? If yes how ? if no what is the best way to do the same.

    I am using the following command and it doesnt work as it says cannot use AND command.
              loop at it_vbfa.
                    UPDATE  VBAP
                    WHERE VBELN = it_vbfa-vbeln
                    and   posnr = it_vbfa-vbelv
                    SET MFRGR = P_MFRGR.
                    IF SY-SUBRC = '0'.
                       COMMIT WORK.

    Any pointers ? What am I doing wrong.

  • APO gATP vs R/3 ATP - To check sales order ATP across multiple plants

    Hi There,
    I am trying to evaluate gATP functionality for SD sales orders.
    The primary requirement is to have sales order ATP checking take place across multiple plants.
    E.G.
    Sales order line is entered for qty 100
    60 is available in plant A, 40 is available in plant B
    System checks both plants and creates 2 lines - one for delivery from plant A and one for delivery from plant B
    (we are currently heading down the road of writing ABAP to do this 'multi-plant' check in R/3 but the more complex the requirements get the more interested I am in understanding more about APO/gATP)
    I would like to understand the benefit of implementing APO / gATP as opposed to using standard R/3 ATP and perhaps writing custom ABAP code to search for inventory across multiple plants.
    I would appreciate any insight regarding what is required to setp gATP to perform such checking and any other feedback regarding this issue - especially if you have had to implement something similar at your company.

    you are probably looking at RBATP (Rule based ATP). Look at transaction /sapapo/rba04 in APO where you develop your own location and product substitution rules. Going down an ABAP road in R/3 may work short-term but not long-term as the requirements may get more complex.

  • Update error in  RV_SALES_DOCUMENT_ADD during Sales order creation

    I get an Update/ ABAP runtime error during Sales order creation. The error occurs during processing of the update module -RV_SALES_DOCUMENT_ADD.
    This error does not occuring always, as I am sometimes able to create a Sales order without getting update error. I am getting the error of all types of Sales orders and even contracts.
    Am I missing any configuration parameters?

    Yes , I can see the error in ST22.
    While exceuting VA01 (Oder type OR, Entering Sold-to-party, Purchase order NO, Material, Qty, Plant),
    - I get run-time error "Run-time error "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" occurred".
        Analysis of error shows:
         Update terminated in "Update module: RV_SALES_DOCUMENT_ADD"
          Fails in the Read table in one of the form
            Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLV45U" - in "VBAP_BEARBEITEN"
    The main program was "RSM13000 ". In the source code you have the termination point in
    line 147 (READ TABLE FYVBAP WITH KEY VBAP_KEY.)
    of the (Include) program "LV45UF0V".
    The ABAP's say the functional module is trying to do an 'UPDATE' instead of 'INSERT" in the internal table FYVBAP.

    not sure if anyone else had this issue already....
    Situation :
    Sales order line item entered with delivery date in 2210.    We would like to correct this order but can't....
    every time SAP issues error :
    Error determining posting period (info
    S008, variant GL, RC 3)               
    I believe this is because we haven't maintained our calendars yet for 2210 :-D
    Question : without us having to load/define the calendar...is there a utility/oss program which we can use to delete the line item, or reject it...or even update the delivery date?

    In your configuration, if you are using any reference sales org, check the order combination indication in the customer master of the reference sales area.
