Cant download itunes and phone stuck mid sync
My Iphone was disconnected mid sync today thanks to a bit of a dash and a 7 year old kid so everytime i turn the thing on all i get is the Itunes connect screen with the USB cable saying connect to Itunes.
I thought i would get to my partners laptop when i was able to, download Itunes and fix it but now everytime i try to download Itunes i have this message on the Itunes screen "Apologies but there has been an unexpected error with this application. This problem has been noted, and an email has been sent to the administrators. Please check back in a few hours and try to download again" Its been like this for a while now,
Is there any way that i can get my phone up and running or do i need to wait to get an Itunes then finish the update? Im guessing my phone is stuck mid operating system update!!

i had to reset my pc cos there was a virus in it. i downloaded itunes and downloaded all my purchases and synced my iphone back in and had to put all my cds back in and everything. but i cant seem to find where the ringtone i bought it. it worked fine before i synced my iphone back into the new virus free computer. i can see it in the ringtones tab but its grey and i cant access it. can somebody help please?
Unless you saved them somewhere you need to download and pay again. There is currently no way to just get them again. You can create your own ringtones

so i cant download itunes cuz of some patenting control on the computer and i needed to restore it . so went on icloud (find my phone,ipod etc) and restored it and my ipod is not turning on but ist is still buffering from the past 10 mins
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Bell's next step was for me to connect to iTunes. I downloaded iTunes and can't figure out how to proceed from there. The basic info in the Apple site for "unlocking" only addresses a SIM card that doesn't work. My SIM card is correct. How do I go on from here? Thanks,
Bell should have given you instructions, but in case they did not here is what you do:
Put a Bell SIM in the phone. It does not have to be a currently active SIM, but it must have worked on Bell at some time in the past.
Connect the phone to your computer with the USB cable.
It should appear in iTunes. Click on its name.
Click the Backup button.
Click the Restore iPhone button. When prompted to restore the backup choose that option.
The phone will reload iOS. If your current iOS version is not 7.0.4 it will update to this first. If that happens when the update finishes click Restore iPhone again.
If the process succeeds you should see the message: "Congratulations. Your iPhone is unlocked". If you don't get this message wait a couple of days and repeat the whole process again.
Note: to unlock the phone you do not have to Restore as New. Restoring and reloading the backup will work also. -

You'll need to copy the music currently on your iPod to your new PC and into iTunes first before you can sync it to the new iPod.

If you reinstalled Windows, it is likely that all your data was lost. If that is the case, you should restore from backup.
If you don't have a backup, but you have an iPod, you can recover from that, see:

After getting a new desktop I downloaded iTunes and authorized my new computer and then de-authorized my old one, When I try to update my 5S it says my phone is not authorized and list my wifes email address as the account holder and not mine. How do I correct this. I am using Windows 8.1 . My wife has never had an iTuunes account

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. I just got a new computer. I have downloaded ITunes and authorized it. It shows my apps and music, but says something about "downloading all". Do I have to download everythingon to this new computer or is it already in there? I also have an iPad that I need to sync. Is there anything special I need to do with the new computer before syncing the iPad?

Issy2090Your past purchases are not on the computer. By choosing download all, those purchases will download to the computer.
Once authorized to your iTunes account you can control the computer.
When syncing the iPad the first time you will get the warning " this iPad is synced with another computer, syncing will erase all contents and replace with the contents of this computer"

The solution would have been to back up your photos to your computer before the screen broke.

I have downloaded Peppa Pig series using Itunes and have tried to sync the tv programme to both my Ipad Mini and IPhone 5. However neither work saying that 'videos from Itunes Libary can not be copied to 'ipad' because they can not be played on this I Pad. I have downloaded the HD episodes is this my problem or do i need to download a 'video watching' app? Please help we are going away next week and the episodes were to help keep my toodler occupied on the plane. thank you

But the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini should support HD videos.
What I would try is downloading the movies directly to your iPad mini or your iPhone. You will want to do this when connected to Wi-Fi, but you can follow these steps in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

Edit > Preferences > Store check Music under Automatic Downloads.
Open the iTunes Store from left hand column, then select Purchasedfrom the column on the right, click the Not In My Library button and select the tunes you want to download again.
That said, you seem to be under a misapprehension as to how iTunes works, or at least how it has worked in the past. It has, until recently, been up to you take care of your purchases once they have been downloaded. You had a one-time download which you were reminded to back up. With the recent change to this policy you can at least download your store purchases again, but having a personal backup of your iTunes store purchases, stuff purchased elsewhere and files ripped from your CDs will still be preferable to gathering all the stuff together again in the event of a disaster.
