Cant see my stickies windows

Hello, I have a very funny issue!
I just upgraded to Leopard after I backed up all my data on an other HD. Now my issue is that after the installation, I went on the old library to get my data back but after retrieving the stickies database in Users/Library (in which I have absolutely all my login/password of everything), I just cant get to the proper note which is out of the screen to the right. Its only when I hit exposé that I see it but once retracted back, It goes very far out of reach and I cant get to it. I see it but cant consult it.
Anyone have an idea on how to retrieve the f..n note back? Mail is asking me for my pass and guess where it is!?

So The Buddy list is visible and Open and you are Logged into AIM
Any Buddy you double Click to open a Text chat does not show a Text chat Window.
Any Incoming Text chat presumably disappears after excepting the invite window.
I tried putting a Chat in the DOCK with the Amber button but it appeared in the Window menu list. This was below the items for the Buddy List with the Apple and number keyboard strokes listed.
It came back to the front (with my Genie effect) when I clicked on the item.
Does yours List the Chats With and a tick next to it when this happens ?
I am assuming that possibly the Window is open but Off screen.
I can create a partial on this.
I turned Hiding On for the DOCK so it did not show.
Dragged a Text chat below where the Dock would show and turned Hiding Off again.
The DOCK then Hid the Chat. It still showed in the Window Menu but without a tick now.
However, clicking it brought it back above the DOCK (well at this the top border so I could move it).
This used to be a problem a while back in iChat and DOCK hiding and it looks like it has been sorted.
Does changing the Screen resolution bring things back into view ?
If this does not work or does not seem to apply then deleting com.apple.ichat.plist should reset all the window positions.
The file is in User/(your account)/Library/Preferences.
Restart iChat.
You will also lose:
Save Status Messages, Bubble colour and font choices, Sound alerts, Menu Bar icon, Fast User Switching preferences for iChat that are visible.

Does it even give some sign that the cable was plugged in? Don't know with i4's but my i5 will do a characteristic beep, indicating that it has begun charging. If no signs of life occur, may be that the cable or its connectors are damaged and need replacement.

Cannot see the application window when the program is run

I wrote a java GUI using Jbuilder. I cant see the application window when i run the program. THe program compiles successfully but the application window pops up only showing the blue title bar and minimize maximaize and x out icon on it. I done see my GUI or anything below the 1 inch long blue title bar. Can someone plese tell me what i am doing wrong. Thanks.

A quick look-up in the API confirms that pack is not deprecated. Setting the size of the window to a specific size is quite a bit different than what pack accomplishes. Pack determines the preferred size of all of the components, lays out the layout manager and then sets the size of the window based on the size of the components inside of it. Calling setSize, however, will force the window to be a specific size no matter what the components want and thus creates a window that is probably not the right size for the components inside of it.

The red exclamation mark indicates that itunes cannot find your files.
Are the music files still on your harddrive. Look n Finder
Username/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media
If the files are there then keep the option key pressed and open iTunes. A dialog box will open asking you to choose your library. Select Choose and then navigate to the Music/iTunes Folder and click OK

Cant see my full view in edit window

Hi im new to mac and logic 9. In my edit window where you record your music, I cant see the full veiw of the edit window. I mean, at the top where you have the numbers on the ruler that makes up bars, I cant see the first bar. My view on the ruler in the edit window starts at 2 and goes on. How can I set it where I can see the full view of the ruler starting at number one? Thanks I hope at said this right.

TS1363 Just installed the new ITunes (running Windows 7) and now it cant see my IPhone

Just installed the new ITunes (running Windows 7) and now it cant see my IPhone (which it saw fine just a few minutes ago). So I can't do a backup etc. What's wrong and how do I put it right?

Well, without my doing anything, the situation has now righted itself. I came down this morning, switched on the computer and the IPhone - and now ITunes recognises the IPhone (it is listed under "Devices", which it wasn't before)
I notice however that the IPhone doesn't get listed under "Devices" until the backup process is complete. So maybe this points to what may have been going on before? Except that the reason I was worried was because the first thing I wanted to do after dowloading the new version of ITunes is make a backup - and I couldn't because ITunes didn't "see" the phone.
Anyway, not the first time I have had the eerie feeling that my relationship with IWorld is not in my control.

Sometimes the Firefox window gets off screen and continues to open there. One technique you can try is the following:
While the Firefox window is active (you can judge by the Windows task bar, press Alt+Spacebar to display the system menu for the Firefox window.
You may or may not be able to see the menu, but if you do, its position in an upper or lower corner provides a clue as to where the Firefox window is lurking. If it's on the right side, tap the m key and use the left arrow to move the window to the left. If it's on the left side, tap the m key and use the right arrow to move the window to the right. Similarly, if the system menu appears toward the top of the screen, use the down arrow to move the window down, and vice versa. It may take many presses. Does that work?

first of all, no one is going to respond to this becuase limewire is used basically in your situation illegally. But let's say you import a cd, left click on the songs you imported and hit get album artwork, if nothing comes up, the album sn't in the itunes database, get it online. And I suggest never to mention limewire and music files on the same post here, since limewire is a file sharing program. Use Itunes, it's easier. theo

If you set up photostream correctly on your computer/ipad and instructions can be found here:

it automatically created photostream folder in your Pictures/my pictures folder for Windows or iphoto for Mac.
You will find all your pictures in there, no need to go online. If you didn't use Photostream -start doing so now.
Otherwise you pictures are included in your back up, but that is an image file. What it means you will not be able to retreive one picture out of back up. You can however restore from that back up - instructions here

You probably do not want to do that for one picture, or even two but the option exists and steps are also in the article above.

What I meant that whatever is saved - does not go against 5 gigs of storage that apple gives you - unlimited space available, but only for the stuff you purchased in itunes.

Why dont I see sqlplus in Windows 7 64 bit install

I installed the 64 bit version of Oracle Client 11g install but I don't see sql plus under the BIN directory. So when I try to run sql plus from command prompt it fails.

Oracle does not use Windows install/uninstall technology, so you won't see anything about oracle under windows add/remove program.
SQL Developer and SQL*Plus are both 'client applications' They both use the same underlying oracle client infrastructure. So sqlplus itself is not necessary for SQL Developer to work.
Oracle ODBC drivers do not install by default. You have to do a custom install and specify them. I've never really investigated everything that IS installed by default, so my standard client installation is a two-pass. First I install the runtime or admin client, as needed. Then, if ODBC is needed I do a custom install, make sure I've specified the same oracle base, oracle home and installation directory as the original, and select only ODBC.

What version of iPhoto are you using? 9.6 is the current version.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Photos are not available for viewing on icloud and are not backed up to it from a PC or Mac, only from an ios device. It sounds like your iphone was unable to perform a backup to icloud before going bad (or whatever happened to it). You'll just have to perfrom a restore to see if any photos come back.
But the usual advice regarding photos is that you sync photos to the PC periodically as you would photos from a camera. If you've been doing that, then you'll find copies on the PC.
