Case Management -- Printing

Hi everybody,
I have defined a new event "Print SmartForm" and added it to the Case Toolbar.
I would like to use it to call a specific smartform.
Can anyone give some useful information on how this can be done?

Smartforms would be associated with the transactions via Actions.
i.e.
In spro, find out your transaction type and in its details find the action profile assigned to it. Once you get the action profile come back to spro and see the actions assigned to it. In one ofthe actions, you will find the smartform attached.
This is the link. If you wish to change this standard to your z smartform, you need to make the change here in the action profile (in the action assigned to the action profile that would fire the print)
Please note that when you change it to a Z smartform, unless you generate the smartform (in t.code SMARTFORMS) it wont reflect in the transactions.
In other words, you need to activate and generate your z smartform before assigning it to the actions in the action profile.

    Well just use the PPF functionality where you define Action Profiles and Actions, and then assign each Action Profile to a case type.

  • What is the Best way to connect CRM Case Management with EP-KM?

    We will implement a Case Management in CRM 7.0 EHP2  and  EP 7.31 with  KM.
    The Client needs Clasifications and Search of the documents in Case Management, the number of documents could be 1,000, 000 aprox...
    I thing are 2 options :
    1) The documents are stored in CRM Repositories, and KM access him, (I know this is posible using WebDAV repositories), but I do not know if this could affects in some way the process in Case Management. And if CRM repositories can store the huge volume of documents.
    2) The documents are stored in KM Repositories, and CRM access him. 
         -¿Is this posible?.
         -¿CRM can access the documents without problem?
         -How can store the documents to KM on line from CRM Case Management?
    What is the best solution?.
    Please Help.

    It sounds like you would like to use either your Personal HotSpot to AirPrint from your MacBook Pro or use an Airport to do so without internet access to the home. According to the following Featured Discussion you very well may be able to use AirPrint with Personal HotSpot:

    you just create an action profile and within the action profile you give your processing type as smartforms
    your path in IMG will be like:
    SPRO--->CRM->BASIC FUNCTIONS--> ACTIONS---> ACTIONS IN TRANSACTIONS
    and within the smart form description you can mention your class ,the smartform you have created etc.
    after you are done with the action profile you attach this action profile to the transaction you are working on
    also in the action condtion you give the condition as open
    as you have requirement that when case is open the smartform is escecuted,likewise you can schedule your conditoon and therein it can be
    BUSINESSOBJECT.USERSTATUS  = E0001
    its just an example  with which you can give the condition

  • Need Help Beyond HP Case Management - Losing A Very Loyal 20 Year +HP Customer.

    I am not sure where to turn to for help at HP beyond HP Case Managment, so I am turning to this board as a last measure for help.
    I just bought a new HP Laser Printer, (HP Laser Jet 200 Color MFP M276 PCL6) few weeks ago and after countless hours of me trying to install the printer, being on the phone with both my companies tech support and HP’s Tech Support and no one being able to install this printer HP Tech Support (whom were wonderful) turned me over to the HP Case Management team to resolve my issues.
    The HP Case Manager Eric {Personal Information Removed} called me today saying he was calling to help me resolve my issues, he gave me a case number of Case # {Personal Information Removed}. Up until Eric’s call all of the HP representatives had been wonderful to work with and also complemented me for being very understanding, nice and easy to work with. However that would quickly change with Eric’s call. Eric was the most insincere, disrespectful, condescending, belittling and arrogant/cocky person that I have ever spoken to in my life. He did not listen to what I was saying at all, but rather continued to talk over me in a condescending/belittling manner the entire call!
    Because Eric was obviously not listening to me at all, and I honestly do not feel that he is even capable of listening, I had to ask the same question over and over again with him, and then he in a very disrespectful and condescending fashion told me that I keep repeating myself and then proceeded to get very offensive and rude.
    I googled HP Case Manager, Eric had had multiple complaints and bad reports about Eric, go figure....
    Eric offered no help what so-ever and kept telling me that he is the final authority at HP and that he has no manager and there was no avenue or no venue at HP to report him, said that he was the authority.
    He then sarted being very disrespectful and blantly rude, telling me that I could go report him to the world wide web if I wanted to, just extremely unprofessional and quite frankly ignorant.
    Please give me a call as soon as possible to help resolve.

    So sorry you had such a bad experience, I too purchased a HP 7510e photosmart printer from Staples for $200.00 Canadian, I could not get it to print off photo's, I called HP for help but they just blew me off so I continued to try myself. I took it back to Staples but they told me the 10 day return policy had expired so I contacted HP again, this time I did get help and he could not get it to work either, by the way I purchased a care pack agreement for it as soon as I brought it home, good until 2014, anyhow they did send out a refurbished product to me to replace the new one. This one has been a nightmare and when I call the service department they inform me that I have to purchase another service agreement (SMART FRIENDS) for 6 months in order to get help or I would be charged $60.00 per incident.

    I used to be able to contact HP and get help for my products without any problem, poor language skills and all but now I just get the run around.
    As for the bad manners and rudeness there is no call for that and it is disgacefull that anyone should speak to you in that manner. I registered my service packs but it never shows up on the USA side. I wish there was a way to contact the directors of HP to Lodge a formal complaint but so far had no luck finding a number to call.     I am configuring the case Management, On save of the case document I would like to create the Activities automatically and assign it to various departments who are responsible. One way of doing this uisng Actions. I have created a Z* Action profile and assigned object as BUS20900 and context class as CL_SCMG_CASE_CONTEXT_PPF. I am not able to find the right method to create the Activities, could you please help me.

  • What are the Steps to Edit a Form Record Stored in Case Management? (HCM Processing DesignTime)

    Workflow completed.  Design Time stores records to Case Management.
    Can someone please tell me steps to access the record and change a field value?
    I also want to attach another attachment to the process to be stored with the original attachments.
    So far I am poking around in SCASE transaction.
    I am able to search for processes and steps but when I click a line I have no auth to change the record.
    BASIS helped me and checked - doesn't look like I'm missing auth, but maybe usung SCASE wrong?
    Still working...

    Basis is checking my permissions again.

  • Development environment for Case Management

    Hi,
    I want to get started with Case Management, but I could use some startup tips as this is the first time I am installing a Java environment from scratch. To be able to design and develop case management solutions, JDeveloper is required and it seems that there is a WebLogic server embedded in the JDeveloper installation. I can install the BPM extensions for JDeveloper and I have the support for Case Management. But is this enough to actually deploy and test a solution? Or does that require a stand alone weblogic+SOA suite installation? I would rather have all this figured out before I start installing all the different things.

  • Color Managed Printing from LR 1.3.1 Inverse of Proper PS CS3 10.0.1 Behavior

    Please excuse the length and detail of this post - I'm just trying to be very clear...
    Also, it would be helpful if anyone having definitive information about this topic could please email me directly in addition to replying to this forum topic, in order that I might know a response is available sooner (I am new to this forum, and may not check it regularly).     Bottom Line: Color managed printing using my own custom-generated profiles from LR 1.3.1 to my Epson 7600 (on Intel-based Mac OS X 10.5.2, but saw the same behavior with 10.5.1) using the current Epson 7600 Intel/10.5x-compatible driver (3.09) is broken, and appears to be doing the exact opposite (inverse) of what I would expect and what PS CS3 does properly.
    I am color management experienced, and have been using my custom-generated EPSON 7600 profiles with reliable soft proofing and printing success in PS (both CS2 and now CS3) for some time now. I know how the EPSON printer driver should be set relative to PS/LR print settings to indicate desired function. Images exported from LR to PS and printed from PS using "Photoshop Manages Color" and proper printer driver settings ("No Color Adjustment") print perfectly, so it isn't the Intel-based Mac, the OS, the driver, the profile, or me -- it is LR behaving badly.
    The specific behavior is that printing from LR using "Managed by Printer" with the EPSON driver's Color Management setting set properly to "Colorsync" prints a reasonable-looking print, about what you would expect for canned profiles from the manufacturer, and in fact identical to the results obtained printing the same image from PS using "Printer Manages Color". So far so good. Switching to my specific custom profiles in LR and printing with the driver's CM setting set properly to "No Color Adjustment" yields results that are clearly whacked, for both LR settings of "Perceptual" and "Relative CM". Just for completeness and out of curiosity, I tried printing from LR using the same profile (once for "Perceptual" and once more for "Relative CM") with the EPSON driver's CM setting set IMPROPERLY to "Colorsync", and the results were much more in line with what you would expect - I would almost say it was "correct" output. This is why I used the phrase "inverse of proper behavior" in the subject line of this topic. Going one step further, trying this same set of improper settings in PS (PS print settings set to "Photoshop Manages Color" with either Perceptual or Rel CM selected, but using "Colorsync" rather than "No Color Adjustment" in the Color Management pane of the EPSON printer driver) yields whacked results as you would expect that look identical to the whacked results obtained from LR using "proper" settings.
    I said above that the improper settings from LR yielded results that I would almost say were correct. "Almost" because the benchmark results rendered by PS using proper settings are slightly different - both "better" and closer to each other - than those rendered by LR using the improper settings. The diffs between the Perceptual and Rel CM prints from LR using improper settings showed more marked differences in tone/contrast/saturation than the diffs observed between the Perceptual and Rel CM prints from PS using proper settings - the image itself was in-gamut enough that diffs between Perceptual and Rel CM in the proper PS prints were quite subtle. Even though the improper LR prints were slightly inferior to the proper PS prints, the improper LR prints were still within tolerances of what you might expect, and still better (in terms of color matching) than the "Managed by Printer" print from LR. At first guess, I would attribute this (the improper LR prints being inferior to the proper PS prints) to the CMM being used by LR being different from (inferior to) the CMM I have selected for use in PS (that being "Adobe (ACE)"). I can live with the LR CMM being slightly different from that use

    My "workaround" is to use "Managed by Printer" for printing rough prints from LR and to do all other printing from PS, especially given the noted diffs in CMM performance between LR and PS and the fact that printing from PS also supports using Photokit Sharpener for high-quality prints. Still it would be nice to understand why this is happening in LR and to be able to print "decent" prints directly from LR when it seemed appropriate.

  • Case management: Partner confirmation and subsequent case creation

    Hi,
    When i confirm a partner and then click case, the partner number does NOT reflect when the case details open. Is this the standard functionality or am I missing to activate or configure something here. For instance when i create a lead, the partner confirmed before gets automatically reflected in the lead details. In this issue of case, I am right now manually adding the partner. Please clarify on this.
    My second query is about triggering an action (mail) to the related partner when i 'save' the case. Any input here would be appreciated.

    Hello Amar,
    I'm afraid that I can't add much additional value here. For your second point about emails I would normally suggest OneOrder PPF (Post Processing Framework) actions. But I assume that these only work in One Order documents and not for the case. Perhaps someone else can confirm?
    And I am not aware of any additional enhancements to Case Management, except for some Investigate Case Management functionality rolled out in CRM 7.0 targeted at the public sector (e.g., government and law enformance agencies). My recommendation would be to look at the new IT-IL based Incident/Service Request  IT Service Management functionality available in CRM 7.0 which provides a lot more power and flexibility than the old Case Management (or Service Ticket) functionality.

  • ERES process is giving error in Case Management

    Hi All,
    I am trying to implement ERES in Case Management -> Agent Dashboard -> Case Summary (click on 'E-Record' button).
    I have done the setups as mentioned in the Doc ID 1067744.1.
    I am facing the below issues
    1. As per the step 9 (Expected results), 'E-Record Details' is not enabled in 'Tools1' menu. It's still disabled.
    2. As per the step 11, I am able to test the AME setups - No Issues.
    3. As per the step 6 (ERES Administrator), when I validate the event 'oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval', I am getting the below error under XML Payload.
    An unexpected error has occurred while generating the XML payload. ORA-20001: The DB to XML transformation has failed with the following error: ECX_MAP_NOT_FOUND. The log file details are: ecx.plsql.out.61034.1609.log ORA-06512: at "APPS.APP_EXCEPTION", line 72 ORA-06512: at "APPS.EDR_UTILITIES", line 1488 ORA-06512: at line 2
    Could anyone help me to resolve this error for "ECX_MAP_NOT_FOUND"?
    I noticed that there is NO data in ECX_MAPPINGS table for the event when I run the below query
    SELECT * FROM ECX_MAPPINGS WHERE MAP_CODE like 'oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval';

    Solution:
    Add a new Subscription Parameter called EDR_XML_MAP_CODE for "oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval" business event:
    1. Login as SYSADMIN user
    2. (R) Workflow Administrator Web Applications responsibility
    3. (N) Administrator Workflow: Business Events
    4. Search for Name = oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval
    5. Click on "Subscription" icon
    6. Click on Update pen icon
    7. Update Event Subscriptions page will load
    8. Click on Next
    9. At the Subscription Parameters section click on Add Another Row button
    10. Add EDR_XML_MAP_CODE with oracle.apps.edr.erectxt.create value and Apply.

    In the PCUI application for case management, Whnever the application is called it takes 30 seconds to load the application, when a new case is to be created the time consumed is 100 seconds ?
    Note : This only happens with case management related transactions.
    Is there a way to increasde the performance of the application ?

There is a sapscript ((INVNET) assigned to this transaction, but my requirement is to assign customized smartform to this transaction.If it is not possible to assign smart form to pgm then is it possible to through enhancement.If yes then let me know the enhancement as there are lot of enhancement in the pgm RM07IDRU.

    Check out with your SD guy if the items in billing doc have correct pricing conditions triggered.
    From the description it looks like some customizing issue.
    Otherwise revert back with the logic how are you trying to get the net value of item.

  • This is a humble request to guide me through the new case management.

    I read completely about case management.
    But i didn't get that when we are deploying out case into the server then we should instantiate which one the processess which are promoted as activity or the case where we are required to enter the caseid and all.
    If suppose we are doing so that we are initiating the case then nothing happens only a new instance is created
    Is it so that suppose there are 8 processes promoted as our case activity then we have to TEST each of the process individually,then again for each process a seperate instance is being created and the data cannot flow from one process to another.
    Please guide me through this ,I am totally cofused regarding this.

    You cannot. From a legal standpoint, the license agreement for OS X mandates that you run OS X only on Apple hardware. HP is not (yet) owned by Apple.
    From a technical standpoint, your HP laptop doesn't use EFI, but rather an early predecessor called a BIOS. Apple is the only vendor of consumer computer hardware that uses EFI; other vendors reserve EFI for use in servers.
    Secondly, Apple's operating systems support a rather limited number of configurations of video hardware and mainboard chipsets directly since they need only support those systems that they manufacture. You cannot use Windows software or drivers on OS X, so prior to installation, you would need to write your own hardware drivers for your laptop, create an OS X drive image on a Mac, and then modify that image with your drivers before putting it in the HP.
    It will be simpler (and legal), to simply purchase a used Mac. Apple's online store has refurbished MacBook Airs starting at $850 and Mac Minis for $700. If you go to e-bay or craigslist, you'll find used Macs for considerably less.
