CATEGORY field in SLFN Support Ticket

Does anybody know how to make the CATEGORY field mandatory in the SLFN Support Ticket

As said in the previous thread you can do it through abap coding.
you can make the category field mandatory by putting validation in the related BADI in the CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE interface.
we have implemented the same for SDCR.
giving you the sample code which we implemented for status.
IF ( lt_user_status-status EQ 'E0001' OR lt_user_status-status EQ 'E0007' OR lt_user_status-status EQ 'E0008' )
                 AND lv_crmt_activity_h_wrk-category IS INITIAL.

    This note steps will no validation that the user actually enters a value and the message will be created even if this 'required field' is left blank.
    Any other way to validate the enter a value also?

    Hi all,
    CRM 5.0 ICWC
    How/where can we see the categroy field in the ICWC service ticket.
    Scenario : e mail service ticket will have category E-mail and Telephonic call service ticket will have TEL as the categroy .
    CRM Online has the Category filed in the Service ticket transaction type Header.
    Please help!

    I was able to add category to my Z_CRM_IC BSP application,now i have the runtime repository also defined for this .
    I am currently trying out this

    When i create a support desk ticket from the help menu in any of the satellite sytems ,the sytem calls the standard transaction type SLFN , i have created my own transaction type which is a copy of the standard SLFN ,how do i create support ticket from help menu which calls my transaction type.

    Enter tcode dno_cust04 choose process type and double click it
    Enter in the field value the ur ztransaction type.
    Now whn you post ur ticket it wil take this transaction type for CRM Message which is ur z...
    Remember every time you create a message both SLF1 basis message and CRM message is created and you can check it via document flow button ...in crmd_order tcode.

    Tax Category in Account Master Record
    Determines whether the following apply to the G/L account:
    Is it tax-relevant?
    Is it a tax account?
    Is it a tax-relevant G/L account?
    Use
    Tax-relevant account?
    You decide whether you want to use the account for tax-relevant postings. If not, leave the field blank.
    Tax account?
    You decide whether you want to use the account exclusively for posting taxes.
    Define the type of tax on sales and purchases you want to use the account for:
    < Input tax account
    < Output tax account
    ">" and "<" are only supported for tax accounts.
    Use the proposed keys from the possible entries help.
    Tax-relevant G/L account?
    You decide whether you want to use the account as a G/L account to which you make tax-relevant postings.
    Define the tax code which can be used to post to the account. When posting to this account, the system then checks whether the tax code in the line item is permitted for this account.
    This is useful if you always post to this account using the same tax rate. When you post to this account, the tax code is defaulted and can no longer be changed (for example, the account Domestic trip costs taxed flat rate in Germany).
    If you only want to carry out a flat-rate check for the tax category, choose one of the following special characters:
    + Only output tax permitted
    - Only input tax permitted
    All tax types permitted
    If the G/L account is then posted to, you must enter a tax code. This does not apply if you also permit postings without tax code to the G/L account and use your own code instead.

  • Partner support tickets not allowing input of client URL

    I've just sent a Support Ticket from my Partner Account to report a fault.
    However, the URL field is pre-filled with my Partner Website URL and can't be changed.
    This makes it difficult to report problems with customer sites.
    Can this be looked at please?

  • For Z Po order type - Item category field is  greyed out.

    Hi MM Experts,
    I am an ABAper working on PO creation with respect to PR( PR with account assignment N)  for Z order type . The requirement includes to update item category of PO with B , But for this Z order type both PO transaction Create/Change(ME21/ME22) the field item category has been greyed out ( Non editable). I checked the SPRO setting for this order type ( SPRO-MM->Purchasing-PO->Define Screenlayout at document level .The field item category has been made as optional.
    Please let me know why this field ( item category still showing in display mode) and How to make it as editable .I need it as editable in ME22 to implement the new requirement of updating that field with item ategory B.

    Hi All,
    Since I was creating a PO with respect to PR - after running through all the screens the item category field was becoming non editable, But during the create in one of screen the field item category was still editable, so I updated the item category with B during the create and created the PO, I have used BDC to do the same and its working fine.   • Risk category field is missing in dso for 0fiar_o09 credit management.

    Hi BI Experts,
    I am using the standard extractor for the credit management dso 0fiar_o09.  The field for risk category originates from our R3 system in table knkk-ctplc.  It displays correctly in the psa.  The transformation rsds 0fi_ar_9 maps it to 0risk_categ.  It appears as an infoObject in the infoSource.  The trcs transformation maps the rule also.
    However, when I try to display the data in the dso, the risk category field does not display at all.
    Please help with any possible suggestions to display the missing field.

    I resolved this issue by removing the check in the  'attribute only' selection on the general tab of the infoObject.

  • AFS Elementary Field Extraction (Category Fields)

    Hello Guru's,
    I have a problem of extracting category fields. The problem is in the mapping of Characteristics (Category) to the Elementary fields in the R3 AFS BW interface. For an example if you take the category characteristic 'Quality" it has two elementary fields,
    Stock(J_3ABWEL_QUAL ) & Requirement(J_3ABWEL_QUAL_R). But the problem in R3 is, there is only ONE Characteristic available for "Quality".  In the AFS BW interface it is not possible to map one Characteristic into two Elementary Fields.
    Please let me know how to handle this.
    Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

  • Double-charged, 3 support tickets in and still trying to get refund, please help!

    Could someone point me towards an Adobe support manager/supervisor with an email address? I believe the support chat employees may be causing more issues than resolution in my case.
    My issue: On 12/26/12, attempting to reactivate an existing subscription, I was double-charged and ended up with two active subscriptions (the re-activated one and a new one). I have spent the last 3 weeks attempting to get this corrected to one active subscription and the second charge refunded, and it appears that on 1/03/12 I received an email saying that I was being refunded, but a couple weeks later I still see no funds in my bank account.
    What should I do? I feel like I'm on this wild and crazy goose chase to get my $80.46 back. Every time I open a support ticket (I'm on my third one right now) I end up calmed by statements of 'I truly understand your problem' and then no follow up or resolution, the support technicians don't seem to comprehend me, leaving me very confused and frustrated, it's a mess!
    The last person (a couple hours ago) said he couldn't help me and that he would escalate the issue - At this point, would I be best off to ask my bank if they can cancel one of the two charges? I'm digging around for a support email, in an attempt to circumvent the live chat technicians and get to someone who will understand me, but I can't find any way to get support from Adobe outside of that horrible live chat system.
    I just sent the following complaint through the BBB:
    When I re-activated my Creative Cloud subscription on 12/26 I ended up with two charges on my credit card and two active subscriptions. I needed 1 active Creative Cloud subscription, but ended up with 2. Since then, I have opened 3 support tickets to fix this, and the whole ordeal has turned into a nightmare.
    - The first ticket was opened the very next morning explaining the problem and requesting the the duplicate charge to be cancelled.
    - The second ticket was opened another day later to ask when the refund would come through and to let them know I was concerned that my account showed both subscriptions still active. I was shocked when the agent said that there was no refund pending, and that I had to specifically state to her that 'I would like a refund' in order to receive one. Even after this, I don't believe she ever put in a refund request because that ticket auto-closed itself and I STILL had two active subscriptions showing in my account.
    - The third support ticket was opened today, 3 weeks later. This time the support employee said he cannot help, seemed very confused, said the product had been returned, that a refund CANNOT be issued, and that he would have to escalate the issue. The first and third people I talked to did not seem to comprehend me very well, and I almost wonder if the first or second person made a mistake somewhere that lead to all of this confusion.
    I am frustrated, don't know what to do, and have ended up paying for two subscriptions this month, one of which was not used, intended, or needed. I received an email on the third saying that funds had been released, and that it may take 5 days to receive them, but I never received any funds back in my account. The support employees I talk to barely seem to comprehend me and don't have any follow through. I don't know where to go from here. I would like to walk away with one active subscription and one refund for the second one that I was mistakenly charged for, promptly cancelled, and never received a refund for.
    I'm not certain why this has become such a complicated matter. Please, help! There is currently one open support ticket regarding this case, but I am sending this email (also sending to the BBB) because I do not feel that support employee understood my issue or what I'm going through.

  • How to Get Missing Dates for Each Support Ticket In My Query?

    Hello -
    I'm really baffled as to how to get missing dates for each support ticket in my query.  I did a search for this and found several CTE's however they only provide ways to find missing dates in a date table rather than missing dates for another column
    in a table.  Let me explain a bit further here -
    I have a query which has a list of support tickets for the month of January.  Each support ticket is supposed to be updated daily by a support rep, however that isn't happening so the business wants to know for each ticket which dates have NOT been
    updated.  So, for example, I might have support ticket 44BS which was updated on 2014-01-01, 2014-01-05, 2014-01-07.  Each time the ticket is updated a new row is inserted into the table.  I need a query which will return the missing dates per
    each support ticket.
    I should also add that I DO NOT have any sort of admin nor write permissions to the database...none at all.  My team has tried and they won't give 'em.   So proposing a function or storable solution will not work.  I'm stuck with doing everything
    in a query.
    I'll try and provide some sample data as an example -

    We have a support ticket no 7464810. Printer is getting BAD LOCID -4485 error on the control display.
    We have carried out all the task that you have listed in your email. There is success. The error is resisting. After each new restart of the printer. the BAD LOCID -4485 error is shown on the display and if the printer was not used during the night the next morning the date from yesterday is shown. This means that the printer does not count the time passed.
    Do we have to contact a hardware repair store. Who do we have to contact for a repair? Are there more things to do before contacting as hardware repair store?

    I created a fillable pdf with the 30 day trial and am trying to load onto our Wordpress website. I am receiving this message when I attempt to open the file and test, "This pdf contains fields. The filling of form fields is not supported." Help.

    Your PDF is in web space. That means that to access it you have to use a browser. Today many browsers have a built-in PDF reader that is, well, less than adequate.

    I've seen that its not supported in 2010 version of sharepoint but I was hoping in the last 3 years  its been fixed for the 2013 
    Any idea if this will be fixed or not?

    Given that it hasn't been fixed so far, i doubt it.
    The reason it doesn't work for some columns is that they themselves  are a form of lookup column. I suspect MS have disallowed it to prevent looping, where a lookup column eventually starts trying to look up on itself. There may be other technical challenges
    to making a double hop lookup column.
