Centrally control all report links for all requests

hi, is it possible to set once then all requests are applied to this setting.
for example, all requests have same report links.
Refresh - Print - Download
if possible, I dont need to set all charts.

thanks ,I have modified dashboardtemplates.xml and it works
but for the embedded (dragged and dropped before modifying the dashboardtemplates.xml) requests, the links are not shown, I need to drag and drop again

    When a link for scheduled report for plus users is created in portal Oracle suggestes the following. This is good since it does not need the run number and the same link will work for all reruns.

    whereas for opening a scheduled workbook result in viewer the link needs the run number which prevents using the same link for every run.

    Can you please let me know about how we can have a summary of approvals that are in the Appropriation Request ot any view of approvals.
    Or do we have any Reporting option to view the summary of approvals in the Appropriation Request.

    I have some Questions regarding the above issue...
    1. Transaction IMR4 appears to show only the current status of an appropriation request.  Is it possible to see the sign off history of the appropriation request within that (or the other IMR) transaction?
    2. Whether the 3 tables that you have specified can be queried for the sign off details?

    JEST (IQ* - Status)
    TJ02T (Text for Status)
    3. How do the IMR* transactions relate to the information contained in the IMA11 and IMA12 transactions?

    going to object links TAB
    attaching object link for appropriation request
    saving the DIR
    Re-opening the same DIR with Appropriation Req. Object link
    going to object link TAB
    double clicking the attached object for Appropriation Req.

    I mean it is not displaying attached object (Appropriation req.,Variant) it just take me to initial screen of IMA11....

    please change the transaction from IMA11to IMA3 and see if the request is now
    displayed. In transaction SPRO under
    Cross-Application Components
    -> Document Management
       -> Control Data
           -> Maintain Key Fields
    the entry for object IMAV should look like this:
    IMAV     IMA3     POSNR1

  • How to include default report links automatically ?

    Hello forum members,
    I would like to have a default set of "report links", like "Refresh" and "Print" on all reports in my dashboards.
    I do not want to do it manually by editing properties of each report.
    I am looking for the way to have a default set of report links for any new report added to a dashboard.

    2. Copy and past the bellow coding into note pad and save this file with Extension filename.xml  (For Eg., Caption.xml)

    is it possible to have a central control of data format
    for example, all number data are with thousand separator and zero decimal place.
    if some columns have data format, user can customize it (like current way - set manually in column property)

    ...OracleBI\web\config\localedefinitions.xml

    or in Answers you can save in the column properties:
    as the system-wide default for this data type

  • Report links ?

    Hello Experts,
    I am wondering if there is a way that i can control the report link. I have a report which has action link to another report and i have the report which has action link on the dashboard. I have choosen the customize option for the report link and given only Print, Export and Refresh which is working fine on the report which is on dashboard but on the link when i click it, the new report opens which has more options than what i intend to have, i am getting, Print, Export, Refresh, Edit, Adding to briefing book etc... Could any one help me how i can limit to only three options Print, Export and Refresh.

  • Report Links in OBIEE 11g Dashboard not displayed correctly

    In the Dashboard pages the Report Links for Export are not displayed correctly .
    Instead of showing the multiple options for export/download it shows just text.

    It can be done by doing below steps.
    1) before doing this take a backup of instanconfig.xml file and do the below changes...
    You can configure various options that change the way that right-click interactions are handled in views for an analysis at runtime. The elements in the instanceconfig.xml file specify the default settings for a new or upgraded analysis. You can edit the properties of an analysis in Presentation Services to modify how the analysis handles right-click interactions in views.
    Before you begin this procedure, ensure that you are familiar with the information in Section 3.4, "Using a Text Editor to Update Configuration Settings."
    To manually configure for interactions in views:
    2) C:\Oracle\Middleware\instances\instance1\config\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\instanceconfig.xml
    Open the instanceconfig.xml file for editing,

  • Requesting links for Weblogic Server 8.1 (sp5) binaries for all platforms.

    This might seem like a brazen request, but could someone provide me a link for Weblogic 8.1 (sp5) binaries. . .It seems unreasonable to spend $2,000 just to download a product version no longer supported by Oracle. The fact of the matter is that my client and my client's third-party staging server deploys their application in Weblogic 8.1 (sp5); believe me, if I had the authority and range of control to update my client's staging server and production server I would.

    Ok, I found a majority of Weblogic's 8.1 (sp6) links. . .do you think developing on sp6 and deploying to sp5 will cause some issues? I'm supposing it won't and while the client has yet to deliver the application, the app server, documentation, or any other required materials, I'd at least like to get an environment that is compliant with their staging server's environment before-hand.

    If MQ V5 clients cannot interoperate with MQ V7 servers, then perhaps MQ V6 clients support the 1.4 JVM? If so, I suppose you can use an MQ V6 client to communicate with V7.
    Alternatively, perhaps MQ's "extended transactional client" provides more flexibility in interoperability than the client you're using.

  • How to avoid report running for all the values in roll up of guided naviga

    I have 3 reports on three different pages of a dashboard. (Implemented guided navigation on one column of each report).When I click on value of guided navigation column it guides me to report 2 for that particular value (is prompted), same way for 3 report also till here it works fine.
    However when I return from report 3 to report 2 and 2 to 1, the reports are running for all the values instead for the value which was passed by guided navigation of previous report earlier (Value on which I clicked to pass to the next report).

    Example : If i click on values 'X' in report 1
    Report 2 shows results for 'X' only. And if i click on Value say 'Y' in 2 then report 3 shows for only 'Y'. But when i rollup from 3 to 2, Report 2 is showing for all values rather than showing 'x'.
    I'm using Link or Image Dashboard Object > Destination>Request or Dashboard (path of previous report)

    IF you go to the manage of cube, you will find an available for reporting sign in the infocube - whichever request has this is available for reporting.
    Tables:
    RSMDATASTATE SIDs are the same as the request no that you see (in request tab in 'manage'). Request IDs in the target can be checked in RSICCONT table.
    The value in RSMDATASTATE tells the max value for which QM is ok, or, tech status is ok (as I understand it). This with RSICCONT table should tell us which all requests are there in the cube (that are available for reporting).

    Yes report writer can be used in logistics also. One of the way which I am aware of is described below.
    Flexible analyses allow you to can tailor the way in which key figures are combined and aggregated. This means that it is possible to both provide administrators with detailed information and management with aggregated information.
    Flexible analyses enable easy access to the Report Writer, a user-friendly tool with which you can create reports for various analyses. The Report Writer is integrated in other SAP applications, such as Extended General Ledger and Cost Center Accounting.
    Evaluation structures form the interface to the Report Writer. Evaluation structures consist of characteristics and key figures and are easy to construct.An evaluation structure with the same name exists for each information structure in the standard system.Even the self-defined information structures created in Customizing can be evaluated via the flexible analyses.
    Evaluations:You can create an evaluation on the basis of the evaluation structure.
    To define an evaluation, all you need to do is select the characteristics and key figures you require (pick-up technique).One of the especially useful features here is that you have the option of tailoring the layout of your report to suit your particular requirements. You can also define extra key figures for the reports, which are derived from existing key figures by means of calculation formulas. You can thereby multiply the key figures or divide one key figure by another.

    In addition to the above you can also edit a report in logistics module with the help of a report writer. below mentioned is the process for it.
    It is now possible to edit your report data using the Report Writer. You can also change the layout of the report. The most important functions of the layout design are summarized below.
    Summation levels:In the report screen, you can use the menu sequence View ->Summation level to specify the number of summation used to calculate total values. All totals that do not lie within the specified interval will be hidden. A summation level corresponds to a hierarchical level (for example, material level). Summation level 1 is the lowest hierarchical level. Summation level 2 is the next level up, and so on. The individual values are on the summation level 0.
    The summation levels can be specified both universally (for the entire report) or locally (for specific blocks of rows). In this case, the local settings overwrite global values.
    Report views:If a report is displayed on the screen, the Report Writer will then set page breaks so that exactly one page fits into the current window. This view will be defined as the standard view. As the Report Writer always processes exactly one page, you can only use the page keys and page icons to page up and down; the scroll bars cannot be used.
    The page view can be determined via Settings-> Page view. The page breaks in the page view correspond to those defined in the report layout.
    Hide and show rows:The function Edit->Hide rows exclude certain preselected areas of your report from the display. You can undo this command with Edit ® Show rows.
    Expanding and collapsing report rows:View-> Hierarchy->Collapse allows you to hide the report rows of the sub-trees that are located underneath. View->Hierarchy ->Expand allows you to undo this command level by level.
    If you want to display all the report rows that were hidden by collapsing the hierarchy or restricting the summation levels, select, View->Hierarchy-> Expand all.
    View->Collapse all allows you to reduced every row block to the highest summation level.
    Texts and Annotations:You can create an annotation for your report.
    Select: Extras->Annotation.
    You branch into the text editor of the Report Writer.
    Via the menu sequence Settings->Texts, you can create and format a title page, the last page, as well as headers and footers using word processing functions.
    For example, you can store variables in the header for the author of the report, the date of the selection or the name of the person who last changed the report.
    Layout parameters:Using the menu sequence Settings->Layout you can specify the page format, display form, rows and columns of the report according to your needs and you can determine the settings for the graphics function. You can make these layout settings with Report->Save settings.

    I just did what mentioned in that link, i was able to create an image with links..
    BUT my requirement is quite different:   Iam using Nivo Slider JQuery Plugin in which Iam thinking to place an Images in which it displays some 3 products in each images.. so If I place 3 images, it means it displays 9 products (3 products in each Image).. that means, there should be 3 differnt anchor links in each image and total 9 anchor links for 3 images.
    I guess iam clear.. BUT iam not sure whether this is POSSSIBLE practically or not..
    COuld you please suggest whether this is possible or not..?

    Can you get a Wi-Fi connection on your iPhone?
    I got an Internet connection on my phone, went to SETTINGS --> GENERAL --> SOFTWARE UPDATE and updated my Software wirelessly (no iTunes involved).
    When I connected my phone to my Computer again and iTunes popped up, it showed that my iPhone software was up to date. Then I could restore to an old back-up.
