CFDI Nómina México Feature

Revisando la nota 1972070 para la implementación de CFDI para nómina mexicana encontre un feature que es el MXCRT, me gustaria saber si alguien sabe si existe alguna documentacion referente a su funcionamiento, o si saben para que sirve.

IPad Mini 2 security feature is not working as claimed!

I recently bought my iPad Mini2 (Retina Display – 64GB with T-Mobile service; Serial #DLXLPCE1FLMP) and less than 2 weeks of usage - it has been stolen on December 3, 2013 at airport. I put my iPad Mini2 on “airplane” mode (no internet service) to save the life of the battery while on the plane and never turn it back on when landed... I had my iPad Mini2 in my purse when landed in ATL… I picked up my luggage – walking and standing in the crowds… When I got home, that’s when I realized my iPad Mini2 was no longer in the purse.
The next thing I tried to do was “Find My iPhone” option from my other Apple device (iPad2) to locate the missing iPad Mini2 but it’s showing as “offline”. I then issued “Play Sound”, “Lost Mode” and “Erase iPad” from the “Find My iPhone” feature (see screenshot). Since the device was offline, the “Erase iPad” function will not work until it’s online. It was updated with the iOS 7
I’ve been calling AppleCare Support and at the Apple Store (in person) for help of how ensure that my credential on that iPad Mini2 will not be stolen as well. They ensured me that since I issued the “Lost Mode” and “Erase iPad”, no one can access to the device to turn off the “Airplane” mode in order to get the internet… not even through my 4-digit security code. They were wrong! Somehow my device was security breach and that my iPad Mini2 was ERASED at 2:33 AM (Eastern Time) – meaning that whoever has my device had it disabled the “airplane” mode and had internet signal in order for the data to be erased (see screenshot). I spoke to multiple representatives from Apple and they said that it shouldn’t happen… I was on the phone for hours and no resolution as far as security goes.
I’ve tried my best to recover the item but it looks like it belongs into a wrong hand. I want Apple to replace my newly purchased iPad Mini2 (Retina Display – 64GB with T-Mobile service) because the Security is not working as claimed…

Best security features for iPad mini at high risk for theft?

I'm giving my disabled sister (mental disability) a new iPad mini for Christmas. I bought her the $300 WiFi-only model. She lives in a group home 800 miles away. She doesn't own a computer or have easy access to a computer (she uses the computer at her local public library). She usually goes to restaurants and malls to get a free WiFi signal. She's also an easy target for thieves because her disability is clearly visible. Regardless, I want to giver her this device. She's fairly responsible - she never lost the iPod Touch I gave her years ago.
How should I set up her new iPad mini, before mailing it to her, to give her the best possible protection against loss/theft? I am aware of iCloud and FindMyiPhone, which I use often. Should I add my sister's new iPad mini to my existing iCloud account, even though we live far apart? She could then call me whenever she loses it, and I can find it for her by using the FindMyiPhone app. However, I'm worried about sharing an iCloud account with her -- that she may possibly download music/purchases to her iPad mini by accident, that will be charged to my iTunes account.
Are there other apps that I can install on her iPad mini, or unknown features that I can turn on, that will help me or her find her lost/stolen device? Remember, she will most likely need my assistance, from 800 miles away, to recover it.
I will also consider buying insurance for her if prices are reasonable and coverage includes loss/theft.

If you use your iCloud account, then she will also share your email, contacts and so forth. So that both of you can have privacy, why not make her a new AppleID, create a new iCloud account for her, but you keep the password so you can login to her iCloud to track her device or remote wipe it and so forth, if ever needed.
She could then use that same AppleID for her own iTunes or App store purchases, and you could even use the allowance feature to control the spending on it, so she cannot get into trouble by mistakingly over-spending (of course she will need the password for that, but she is not likely to change it I imagine, so you would still be able to use it as well). If you feel it necessary, you can also enable restrictions with a passcode only you know, and disable in-app purchases or set up other restrictions like that if you worry she may unknowingly work up a tab in purchases without realizing they were for fee items.
Another thing you may want to set up is two-step verification of her AppleID, with your own iPhone or iPad as (at least one of) the trusted devices. The advantage is two-step removes the security question feature for an AppleID, and gives you a verification code that will ensure you can always recover her AppleID no matter what.
You should also put a passcode on it, and set the passcode lock to come on immediately (that is, it becomes effective the moment the screen sleeps or is put to sleep manually with no time out or delay). Your choice whether to also set the device to auto-wipe content after several failed passcode attempts.
Other than that, I think that is about as secure as can be for any iOS device. If she does not mind, she could even use a complex passcode instead of the simple 4-digit one - maybe something derived from a phrase she can easily remember ("Thanks for the iPad!" = T4tiP! or something like that).
Just a P.S. while Apple's own AppleCare+ does cover accidental damage, beware that it does not cover loss or theft. So if you do want insurance, you will need to buy it from a 3rd party vendor.

How to use the phone's Mini-Keyboard Input with the 'Textbox'(MIDP2.0)?

Hi. I'm trying to create a textbox(in my own little application) that is compatible with the mini-keyboard input feature.
This problem involved any device that have a built-in "mini-keyboard".
Problem:
I tried the 'Textbox' class from MIDP2.0 but the result, as expected, is like using the phones with no built-in keyboard.
(Forexample if I want to input the character 'C' inthe text box, I need to press number '2' button three times to let it circle through 'A' -> 'B' then 'C'. )
Then I tried entering URLs in the phone's built-in web browser, the result is I can use the mini keyboard to type like a PC keyboard.
Question: How do I implement such textbox that is fully compatible with the built-in mini Keyboard?
I tried browsing through the MIDP2.0 API but it seems the 'Textbox' class there couldn't do it.

The textbox should have input just as any other normal phone input. If not, something strange is going on.
Anyway , there is no use to make your own input method, since every phone has another implementation of this anyway. It would only confuse users.

"Mini Barcode" follows pointer and overlays desktop icons after 10.4.10 upg

I have a G5 (about 4 years old). I recently upgraded to 10.4.10. After the upgrade I noticed a Mini BarCode like feature following the pointer around. In addition all desktop icons and the menu area were overlayed with this Mini BarCode type feature.It does not seem to affect the operation of the computer, but is extreemely annoying.
Any ideas?

Yes a new card fixed my problem but....
After reading your post I searched around on the various forums and noticed that someone else had a similar problem when they upgraded to Tiger from Panther. (not an update they upgraded to Tiger from Panther) Here's the link to the message. You should read this....

After I read it dawned on me that when I upgraded to Tiger this past November I started having this problem with the video card. Could be I may have jumped the gun on replacing it. The guy that posted the above thread also posted a link to the driver that he installed that got his monitor working properly again.

If you only updated to version 10.4.10 from an earlier version of Tiger then I would go with replacing the card. I replaced mine with a 9800XT w/ 256MB I picked up from OWC for around $230.

I really wanted to upgrade to the X800 XT mac addition but it looks like ATI is no longer manufacturing this particular card. Don't believe the wait times you see on some websites regarding shipping dates for that card. I spent many hours searching for this card and finally when I talked to ATI I found out they are no longer manufacturing the X 800XT mac addition. too bad.

Why No Mini Bridge in AI CS6?

Am I the only one that thinks this feature would be really a time saver in AI.
I mean since you can drag and drop from the finder images and files into AI and the mini bridge brings the finder to your work space I think it would be helpful to not have to refocus to the finder or us explorer on windows to locate your assets.
I am wondering why I never hear about the lack of this feature when it is popular in Photoshop and Premiere and other Adobe applications.
Just wondering, also wondering why Adobe just doesn't do this for all the apps?

I am not certain you understand what I see as a time saving feature this is not about information as such but about access to files the information is fine but asset management is a more important issue and first things first as far as making the feature request both the Bridge and the Mini Bridge are feature requests I made long before there was such features.
I was curious about why it was not implimented in all the programs as it shouldd have been done by now?
Phtoshop has it, InDesign has the Mini Bridge and Premiere Pro and Audition have media browsers so I don't really see the reason not to include such a feature.
As far as more information that might be a good feature request.
I just need access to files right now.

I already own an iPhone 4S which will be used for all my music, texting, FaceTime, Taking photos and shooting videos. The iPad will be taken basically everywhere as my iPhone's companion, it will be used for things such as heavy web browsing, YouTube, Gaming, Movies & reading of magazine subscriptions etc.
iCloud will be used so 16gb storage is fine. WiFi model is fine as i will tether my iPhone when on the go and internet is available at home.
All I am really asking, based on my needs; should i buy the iPad 2 or iPad mini?
The $399 price point is as high as i will go at the moment.

Is a mac mini good enough for editing home video?

I'm considering buying a man mini to do basic video editing. This will be home videos, nothing heavy. Will a mac mini cope with putting an hours and a halfs worth of holiday clips together?

I would say YES. If you are planning of using iMovie, for example.
I was doing my family videos on my "old" iMac 2007, with Corde2Duo. I'm sure it's quite enough on the new plateform.
At least, it's the first price to do it.
I'm waiting a possible new line of Mac Mini, with latest features to get it.

Enterprise App on Multiple Devices

Hi,
I'm making my first enterprise app intended for both iPad and iPhone. In terms of distribution is it possible to download on just one device and have it sync to the other on the same Apple ID or is this only for apps distributed through the App Store? I know the user can turn off this setting on their device but i've tested it on mine with this feature enabled and it does not seem to sync.
The app works fine on both devices but i'm just trying to figure out the best means of distribution.
It's currently deployed through a plist file. Is there something that needs to be added there?

Not aware of other distribution method other than hosting/deployment through your own server/up in the cloud(dropbox). There's no notion of the Apple ID thing since its a private app
