Change object transport order

Is it possible to change an object from one transport order to another?

Yes it is possible.
For this do one simple thing. Select the original transport request in SE01. The from menu bar select Request/Task then object list then display object list. Get the details of the object you want. Details like PGMID, OBJ and OBJECT NAME.
Then go to new transport request. here again use the same path:Request/Task then object list then display object list. Now go to change mode. The use insert line and give the details as obtained from old request. Save the changes.
If you want to move the object using the new request delete the object entry from old request (before that unlock the object using SE03 where in give the request number or task number depending on which of them is unreleased).Then you can release the new request without dependency issues.
There is another of way doing this but i guess this is simpler.

Hi,
I'm doing customizing creating a sales organization and defining output type.
By accident I put these two in the same transport request.
I want to move the defining output type object to another transport request as I want to transport that one first but I don't want to delete the creating sales organization.
Any way to do it?
I tried using object directory entry but can't.

Hi Dwi,
No need to delete anything.
If u imported it into any box we can't do anything.
But there is one method to overwrite it by assigning it as different TR's
So if u exported now, dont touch the TR(Transport Request)
The different tasks what this TR contains assign it as different TR's and release them in which order you want.

Dependnet objects are in differmt transport orders

Hi,
I am changes to the Query Structure in the development system & when I save it , its not asking for transport request
When I open some other Querywhich uses the same structure I clicked on save then it asked for the transport request and got saved but when I try to open this Query its giving me the message the depenednt objecta re in diffenrt transport Orders and not allowing even to cahnge the query
What could be the reason

Hi,
The structure might be collected accidentally into another transport request. Try to collect all your objects into a Transport Request using Transport Connection in RSA1, if there are any objects that are already in a transport request you will see them that they are already collected into another request, then you can find the user of that request and ask him to delete your query elements.

Change the valuation class of material [Stock transport order scenario]

Dears,
Client would like to change the valuation class of material.
There is no open Purchase order/Process order/Purchase requistion and stock in plant.
Scenario- One Stock transport order is created.
For same goods issue (351-issuing plant) and goods receipt (101-receiving plant) is done.
When we are going to change the valuation class of said material, message is "purchase order is open
and it shows the no of STO [for which receipt and issue is done]"
To resolve this issue we had first delete the STO line item no(ME22N). Then change the valuation class.
(this allows). and then undelete the STO line item. Through this we can change the valuation class of material.
Please advise in such business process that this is right way or there may be other option.

Here's my take on how to fix:
*Manually change Config TCode OMT4 - change message MM 326 & 327 to type "W" (if open order exists...now you can enter through warning messages)
*If inventory exists, then issue out of stock to a cost center
*Change valuation class
*Put stock back into inventory (reverse to that same cost center) Note issue out and reverse back into inventory must happen in the same posting period.
**Valuation class should be changed as expected
**Manually change config TCode OMT4 - change message MM 326 & 327 back to type "E"

PO stock transport order - item change - field Customer in tab shipping

Dear all,
because of an existing modification it is necessary that I have to update the field customer at shipping tab of an stock transport order item when item's storage location was changed within TAC ME22N or ME21N.
Unfortunately SAP has not implemented this functionality within BAPIs or Userexits.
Does anyone has an idea where we have to place this modification?
Until the installation of the last support package, the modification changed the customer within include MM06EFPV_PTV_FUELLEN, form ptv_fuellen before calling function SD_TRANSFERDATA_DETERMINE and it worked.

Piotr,
You can default the shipping point in your STO based on the combination of shipping conditon (maintained in customer master), loading group (maintained in material master) and the plant in SPRO->Logistics Execution->Shipping->Basic Shipping Functions->Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination->Assign Shipping Points.
If you don't use any of the entries (for instance if you don't use the loading group), then just leave the entry blank in config.

Changing the Z-Order of objects

Is it possible to change the z-ordering of items, either as they are being drawn or at a later time? I have an extension that calculates and draws overlapping objects, and in order to get the sizes and positions correct, I need to occasionally move some of the items back after they are created. The ADK appears to have some basic ability do adjust selected items, but it would be a lot easier if I could simply create the object and then place it into the correct z-order location.

You can get a UIDList of frames to bring to the front and call:
UIDList framesToResort =.......
Arranger::SortItemsBackToFront( &framesToResort );
Or you can use the commands BringToFrontCmd, BringForwardCmd, SendBackwardCmd, SendToBackCmdBoss

Changing of Stock Transport Order

How can I find out who changed a Stock Transport Order, and on which date it was chaged.

1)Normally, every change that has happened in SAP documents can be tracked through change tables CDHDR(Header Table) & CDPOS(Item Table).
2)Another way of doing it, is going through menu path by opening the Stock Transport Order & selecting Environment-> Changes.

And save that object again , so , system will ask you for the request again.

Does the ID associated with the BRF+ objects changes when transported?

Does the ID associated with the BRF+ objects(such as Catalogs, Data Objects, Expressions, Funcition) changes when transported to other environment?
I just wonder if it is, because I am going to hardcode the ID of the Catalog I am calling using the FM WDY_EXECUTE_IN_PLACE.

The ID is stable! That is exactly the idea of the ID, stable and unique accross systems.

How I can change the z-order of objects?

Hi,
I'm creating subform that contains "tabs", I want to change the z-order of the a tab when it's clicked to be on top of other tabs.
it seems instanceIndex does not work or it wan not mint for this kind of visual effects.
Any idea on how this can be achieved?

Simple. Use the reorder button on the toolbar.

Problem with a transport order

I release a transport order in DEV, I want to change the Target System because this field is initial (Local Change Requests).
I want to tranport de order to QAS, I can't change the order when it is released.
How do I to undo the release?

you can't move or transport the object developed in local [$tmp] package because if u want move or transport object u can save into global package then u can transport object depending upon that transport .

Looks like you are very new to SAP world.
For eg: the landscape in company could be:
                       Dev. System                                                         QA system             Production
Client no.             050 { gold client for config chagnes}                       100                        100
                           051 { Sand box for config changes }
                           052 { Dev. client }
                           053 { Testting client }
Client 050 in dev. system is for the configuration changes and used by functional analyst.
051 is the functional analyst's sand box for playing around
052 is the developer's client for making all the changes to the customer namespace {Z and Y} objects
053 is the testing client for developer and funtional client
You can make change only in client 052 and not in any other client.
Only in development you will have multiple clients. In all the other QA & Prodn system there is only one client maintained. You cannot make changes in QA unless you are provided with any developer key access. { Generally no one is given devlopment rights in QA, unless it is an emergency fix before prodn.migration }
The path of the migration will be from Dev.052 -> (all clients in Dev. system (if dependent) )
                                                                  -> QA system
Then after all the successful testing of the object in QA it is migrated to production.

you mean the button in rsa1->transport connection ?
icon truck and 'truck with Bex' ?
if so, the one without 'BEx' is normal one used in transport all bw objects,
the one with BEx is used to create request for bex objects (query, workbook, web template..)
once the query has been transported to target system, we have to create a bex request - use the truck icon with BEx' - to hold the changes (since bex objects are created/modified not with sapgui, the changes are recorded different way, use bex request)

Transport Order to delete Update Rule

Hi,
we got a problem with a transport order to delete a Update Rule.
- The delete process was saved on a order A with other objects on it.
- Order A was released but not imported.
- Now we need to transport the delete process without the other objects on the order A.
We try creating a new order B and include all the objects from order A, so we can delete on order B the objects that we don't want to transport. The problem is that the update rules copied to order B doesn't have the delete function asigned.
How can we solve it.

Hi
In such extreme cases you can change the target directly (QA and P).
you can delete the Upd Rules in QA and P and then just
transport the new Upd Rules.
This is not recommended but some times its the best and easiest solution.
