Change sales employee authorization for sales opportunities
"Change sales employee" in general authorizations is working only for documents, but not for sales opportunities.
There should be an authorization alos for sales employee on sales opportunities.
Not only for itself but also to make a sense to authorization of sales employee on documents, because having full rights to sales employee on sales opportunities make easy to set sales employees on documents even if not authorized, just by adding the document from a sales opportunity from where it will inherit any sales employee.

REMOVED " V/032 Insufficient authorization for sales document"
We are having serious issues with the multiple credit card authorization at the time of releasing the billing document to accounting. Everything is with fine with a single payment card. But as soon we split the order value into two payment card and try to release it to accounting, It gives me this error " Insufficient authorization for sales document XXXX". It was working fine sometime back in July and i had tested it many times, i have no clue what happened in the system or what triggered it. I have checked all the config and settings, everything is fine, and i am unable to understand what is causing this issue. Any help from anywhere would be greatly appreciated....

i have checked the sales order there payment card amount is authorized n the sales order showing green signal and card authororization is sucessful and before that preauthorization was also there but final authorization is done.after that delivery also done. but while doing invoice releasing to accounting i am getting above issue.anybody plz help me no guess please need solution

Partner determination based on Employee Responsible for Sale Office
Hi,
In our Project We triggering work flow from lead to sales manager. The Sales Manager is assigned to sales office. We used access sequence CH08 to determine the sales manager in Partner determination but the work flow is triggered to Employee responsible for Sales Group.
The access determines the Employee responsible for org unit and sales group is selected as org unit in lead document. So the employee below the sales Group is selected in sales manager in Partner determination.
Can any one suggest how to select employee from Sales Office in Partner determination.

You have to Maintain Parner Determination in SPRO:
SPRO --> IMG --> SD --> BAsic Functions --> PArtner Determination -->SEt up Partner Determination
As you want it in Sales Order (say, At Header), Click:
-->Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
Select TA - Standard Order.
Now, From Left-hand side tree, click on:
Partner determination procedure assignment.
Here assign TA to your Sales Doc type (Say, OR - Sales Order).
Again from Left-hand tree, select
Account groups - Function Assignment
Here, Linl all Customer Acct Grps to PE/ VE
Now in Sales Order (T. Code: VA01/ 02), to include Sales Employee:
Goto --> Header --> Partner
here, in Column Partner. Function: Select VE/ PE as defined for Sales Employee.

How set authorizations for sales reports and other reports in SAPB1
Hi, I'm currently working in SAP Business One Version 8.82
The issue I'm facing is that I want to set it up so that certain users cannot see other users' sales information. I know that I can turn on or off the Sales Analysis Report for various users for instance, but what I really want specifically is this. Suppose we have 3 different teams: Team A consists of (Angie, Angela, and Anita the manager), Team B consists of (Bob, Barbara, and Ben the manager), Team C consists of (Cat, Charlie, and Courtney the manager). I would like to make it so that everyone can view the individual sales order documents of everyone else (in case a customer calls and needs information, but the salesperson who created that document isn't there); however, Angie should only see her own orders when she does a Sales Analysis while Anita, the manager of Team A, should see the the orders of Angie, Angela, and herself of course.
To summarize, I'd like to see the following
1. Each salesperson can lookup and view any sales order.
2. Each salesperson can run an sales report to view all his/her own open sales orders.
3. Each manager can run a sales report on his/her subordinates, but not on the other managers or their subordinates.
4. The boss or other people working in corporate are able to run a report on all open sales orders.
What's the best way to approach this? Is it best if I create my own report? I haven't created any reports from scratch yet, so I'm not sure exactly how that works. I'd like to be able to group the salespeople up by location if possible. The sales analysis report doesn't really do that, but it is useful. I just don't want everyone to be able to see the numbers on their peers.

Create own report by using query and save under query manager and the assign for all group. So that all sales person can run this query and can get sales order detail.

Create individual query ( add condition in where clause slpname = 'XXX') for each sales person and save it under query manager and assign to particular user group
3. Each manager can run a sales report on his/her subordinates, but not on the other managers or their subordinates.
Answer:
Create query for only particular team ( condition is slpname = XXX OR YYY OR ZZZ) and save under query manager. Make schedule report on this and send it to only particular manger
Same way create for another manager and schedule report.
4. The boss or other people working in corporate are able to run a report on all open sales orders
Answer.
Create query for all sales person and schedule report to big boss.
Hope you can get an idea.

Customer Recievables Ageing by Sales Employee showing No Sales Employee
Dear Sir(s),
We are on SAP Business One 8.81 PL04.
The customer recievables Ageing by Sales Employee report shows "No Sales Employee". when we group by sales employee on the selection criteria.
We have setup all our Customers with sales employees in the Business Partner Master Data.
Please advise on what could be the cause of this.

Yes, the sales employee details are captured on the invoice.
Infact, on the "No sales employee" Group, only the Incoming Payments (Type : RC) show for the diferent customers and yet these incoming payments were paid based on the invoices which have the sales employees captured.
The customers appear both on the "No Sales Employee" Group as negative balances as well as its correct "Sales Employee' group as positve balance. The report shows correctly when we select the group by as "customer" in the selection criteria.

Sales Order Delete for Sales Area which configurations are remove .urjent

I had created a sale order with sales are 1000,10 ( direct sales) and 00 , but business had told that our dist channle must be 50 Trading not direct , alredy business had done a sales order with 10 dist channel after that they changed the requirement stating that it must be with 50 trading. we have configured accordingly and removed the previous assignmnets.
But now i am not able to view that sales order which we have created erlier, because i want to delete that order because stock is reserved with that sales order.
kinldy suggest me how to delete that order.

The sales order will be in the system and can be displayed eventhough If you delete the assignment of order type OR with sales area 1000,10,00 and make new assignment(Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas ).
I had created a sales order with 1000, 10, 10 sales area, then _*i had deleted the org assignmnets*_ and in Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas.
The problem here is you have dismantled the org structure that is you have removed the org assignments. It is clear by your above statement. Then in this case you can not view any sales order which was originally created for the old sales area(1000,10,00).
So you have to either setup your old org(1000,10,00) assignments and try to display and reschedule the old sales order or need to explore other options of deleting the sales order requirements.
I have simulated the above scenario and it works fine. Try the above to set up org structure again and do whatever you want to do with the old sales order and after finishing all your things, you again dismantle it.

Function module to extract sales org data for sales transaction
Hi! I would like to find out the sales org assigned to a particular sales transaction. When I run function module CRM_ORDER_READ, it passes some information into LT_ORGMAN but I get 2 entries rather than the 2 entry I see in my sales transaction. Is this the right table to look for sales org data for a particular transaction?

INTERNAL QN CHECK ON AUTHORIZATION FOR SALES ORG
Hello Experts,
Following is the current set up
An internal QN -Root Cause Analysis QN (RCA QN) is created via standard QM01 trxn where Sales Org is a mandatory field to be filled.The user able to create RCA QN for any Sales Org.
There is No check either at the time of selecting the Sales Org. field value OR at the time of save QN for authorization check against Sales Org. for the user.
There is now a requirement from business to ensure user can create a RCA QN only for the Sales Org. assigned to the authorization object in his authorization profile.
Problem:
The field Sales Org.(VIQMEL-VKORG) belongs to the Std. screen 0100 in screen program name SAPLXQQM.There is not any BADI enhancement that is triggered during RCA QN creation/Save for this field .Also , the user exit enhancement QQMA0002 will not work as VIQMEL is not updated yet with VKORG value until saved ( at when QQMA0002 FM EXIT_SAPLQAUT_001 is NOT getting triggerred)
Question:
Pl can you advise if there is a way to check this field in the QN at time of creation or save via any user exit /enhancement in the std .prgm?

I think, you need to do a screen exit level validation (For Ex: QQMA0001) at sales org level (VIQMEL-VKORG), which should be triggered before "SAVE" option is executed or "Enter" is pressed. The main objective for this enhancement should be to check if the value VKORG is matching with the value maintained at User Profile. In case if both matches, then the "Save" option should be executed. Else, it should throw a pop-up message for user's reference that both the data is not matching.

The system should prevent the sales order & Delivery when the customer is having one oustanding invoice above 90 days and the balance due for that invoice is less than Rs. 100

Thanks for your effort. I am getting the approval window after the sales order . ie at delivary it is asking me for approval and also for every delivary it is asking even the customer doesn't have any outstanding. if the approval process activates during SO genaration time ..then this will be helpful.
If any previous invoice having outstanding balance >100 and if it exceeds 90 days then it should ask for approval. But the system should not check the Customer account balance.

Create Roles:
1. Profile for role Z:AL_SD_Sales Order_OR*

so on, so forth.

So - Rush Order etc...
Afterwards, in
T. Code: SU01
Assign these Roles in to User-Profiles, as reqd.
Say,
User: XYZ with Profile for role Z:AL_SD_Sales Order_OR*
and
User: PQR with Profile for role Z:AL_SD_Sales Order_SO*

You can refer to standard Role "SAP_CS_AG_CUST_ORDER_COMPLETE".
Authorizations Under Sales and Distribution -> Billing: Authorization for Sales Organizations
Similarly, you can maintain for Authorization for Sales Areas by selecting proper Activity (Create, Display, Change etc.), Sales Organization, Distribution Chennel, and Division.
You can use Authorization Object V_VBAK_VKO for "Sales Document: Authorization for Sales Areas".
Create Authorization for Roles as above and assign them to Users.
