I have to install an IN over a V240. The problem is that I dont have the filesystem as I need to install the OSP.
I have the following:

So I dont know how to use the big /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s7 to create the new filesystems.
If somebody can help I'd really appreciate it.
Summary: How to modify the existing filesystem in 3 or 4 filesystems.

That seems to be an OS question in a Hardware Forum.
I'll respond with a Hardware perspective:
... back up all critical data and wipe it clean.
Install everything fresh to your personal preferences.
You'll save so very much time and mental agony trying to make it work any other way.
( and it never will be exactly as you'd hope; you cannot resize the root partition any other way. )

If you are trying to make it read only or editable then you can do it from CO extension .

We have a Badi definition FAGL_COFI_ACDOC_MOD which is used for FI postings.
Here in definition filter value is specified on MANDT field, which happens to be client specifc..
Now my requirement is country specific...so i can change the existing badi definition and add up new filter value.
I want to know the consequences of this change.
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Changing the PicklistView Definition programatically

Hi,
The Picklist View Object is attached to message choice bean .
I have changed PickListViewDefinition of the message choice beans programtically . The message choice beans are also created programtically. The Pick List view object query is executed using setWhereClauseParams. I have created the PickList view object and tagged the same to the Application Module programtically. The picklist view object is getting tagged to the Application Module but the results of the PickList View Object are not getting reflected when the page is rendered.

Have you created your VO also at the runtime or it is a declarative VO? Did you try setting VO instance name instead of VO def?

810 Outbound invoice change interface file definition

Hi
we are implementing 810 outbound invoice. In the interface file definition we have to customize it so we can reduce the number of columns in the outbound data file.
do we have to delete the record number or position in order not to appear in the outbound data file. how do we migrate this custom to another instance? it is tedious to do manual updates to the interface file definition sine we dont need most of the columns in the interface file.

We are also having a similar situation with our 810 outbound implementation. Were you able to change the file definition?
If so, did you copy the seeded file definition to create a new file definition or modified the seeded file definition?
How do you add new interface columns and how do you link it to the backend columns? Do you update the record in ECE_INTERFACE_COLUMNS table?

CHANGING THE ROLLOVER COLOR

Hi Friends,
I got a template off the internet which I am using to design my webpage..but for some reason i dont know where to find the area to change the colour of the rollover in the template? The rollover is not an image - just plain text.
have a look at pic attached. Basically when I rollover the text for eg: portfolio, the word "portfolio" changes from Blue to white. How do I change the rollover from white to another colour??? I cant find it I am sure its a simple solution.

You change the style definition. Look for something like a:hover in the style inside the document or the CSS that comes with it. If you can provide the code/ a link to the page, we can be more specific.

Changed NTFS filesystem to ext4 accidentally [Solved]

OK, so due to enter happy finger and lack of sleep, I accidentally changed the filesystem of my windows partitions to ext4 and swap. >.< When I realized what I was doing, I hit the power off button pretty quick.
Is there a way to recover my data by re-writing the partition table or something? I hate to have lost all the work from a momentary lapse of judgment.
ETA: Heh, well, apparently I can mount it with ntfs-3g so I guess I hit the power off fast enough.

The problem is indeed caused by bad blocks.
But it wasnt that easy to prove that, when ms chkdsk always fails to finish :-)
Ive used "hdd regenerator". I dont what did the program exactly do with the hdd, but after the "regeneration" ms chkdsk was finally able to check the disk and showed a lot a of bad blocks. :-(
So it seems this has nothing to do with arch linux. The timing was just a coincidence..
btw the hdd is a Samsung HD103SJ, 2 months old :S

Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.

One way to to put the videos into an iDVD slideshow
and set iDVD's Slideshow preferences to always scale slides to TV Safe Area.
However, some users have reported that the audio quality using this method is lessened. I've not noticed it but then I don't have a good ear when it comes to that sort of thing. If you add more than one video in the same slideshow do not select any transition.

How to process the PO output manually?
Goto bbp_ppf / 'Issue Purchase Order' --> Enter PO number in
"Application Key" field --> remove the "Time frame" -->
Process the output (click on 'Output' Push button)
Processing when saving document --> Output is generated when you
ORDER the PO.
Please check the output definition maintained in your system. Also you can check this by processing the PO output manually. Once the PO output
is processed successfully, the PO will appear in "Changes Transmitted" status search result.

Hi,
Is there an automator object that will allow me (through Applescript perhaps) to receive notifications of when something in a certain part of the filesystem changes?
For example, I would like to be notified when a new document is added to the Documents directory (likewise I'd like to be notified when a document is removed from that directory).

AppleScript has a mechanism called Folder Actions, which will do exactly what you require. Automator workflows can also be saved as Folder Actions, but they run more slowly for reasons I'll explain later.
A Folder Action script runs when you make a change to a folder to which the script has previously been attached. The possible changes are: opening the folder window, closing the folder window, moving the folder window, adding items to the folder and removing items from the folder. The last two are what you're looking for.
Only these five changes will trigger a folder action; folder actions don't run if you edit or update a file within a folder.
Folder actions aren't recursive: if you add items to a sub-folder of the folder to which the action is attached, the action attached to the parent folder won't run.
Here's an AppleScript that will do what you want, with the notification in the form of a dialog.

Navigate to the folder where you saved your script, and choose the script. Drag items in and out of the folder and see what happens.
The dialog can be replaced by any AppleScript commands you like: the script could send an email, log the change to a text file, create a new document in a scriptable application, log the user out, play their top-rated iTunes tracks...
Hope that gets you started. Using Automator would be slower because folder actions created in Automator simply launch a separate Automator workflow application, which then runs the commands which I've scripted directly. This just puts another application in the way of getting the job done.

File IO: waiting for changes to be actually made to the filesystem

Hello.
I' ve multiple threads that access concurrently to a file.
The operations are:
-open the file file1
-copy some lines to a new file file2
-delete the old file file1
-rename file2 into file1
the method is synchronized.
The problem is that, even after I close the files and return from the method, changes are not still propagated to file system.
So, if the threads are fast, even if the second thread enter the method after the first has terminated, the old file has not yet been deleted and the second not yet renamed, or anyway "handles" to such files not yet been relased at file system level.
I don't have to guarantee high concurrency..so it would be just good for me to be sure that every thread will wait until all changes are made to the filesystem and all the handles have been released correctly.
How can I do that?

How can I change remote site definition without breaking all of the links?

I've created a website and put it here http://home.comcast.net/~alpsf/index.html to test it during construction. Now when I change the remote site definition on the local site in DW, all of the links are broken. I now suspect the problem is that I made it site root-relative, and DW inserted /~alpsf/ in all of the links. Is there a way to fix this?

You can do a find and replace to change the links globally. Make sure you do a complete backup of the site prior to doing this incase you don't do it correctly. Let me stress that again, backup your entire site incase you need to restore. If you have created a "new site" and this will not be part of the /~alpsf site, then you will need to define a new site and copy all the files into that folder (I am guessing this is the case). I would copy the files outside of Dreamweaver. You could do this without touching the files in the ~alpsf directory. There are a lot of variable here as I don't know exactly what you are doing.
On the file menu select window/results-select search. (this is done if the search window is not open).
Find in: Entire Current Local Site
Search: Source Code
Find: "/~alpsf/
Replace:"/
That should do it, but this is a very tricky thing. I wouldn't have a problem doing this as long as I have everything backed up.

Edited:You might have to go into your css, spry files and any others that has links to do the same (this time only select Find in: Current document once the document is open). Once that is done, delete the whole remote site and upload the changes once you check that everything is completed.

I want to change the "Identification Expression" of the doc definition.
I have used this doc def(def1) in Agreement and deployed. But wanted to update doc def. When I change "Identification Expression" of the doc definition,
I am getting the below message.
Cannot update XPath Expression as the document definition is used by Active or InActive agreements
I created another doc def (def2), made my agreement refer to new doc def (def2) , deployed and tried to change original doc def(def1). But still I am
having the same issue.

Remember, at runtime always deployed configuration is used, hence if you want to make any change in existing deployed configuration, then first undeploy the existing configuration, make the change and then redeploy it.
