Is it possible to change the url of a podcast after it has been published for a long time? If so how?

yes it is possibile, there is a more in depth explination at http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html?cid=ITM-AFFILIATES060824-R48 IK but basically you have to put in XML that tells iTunes where the new feed is.

Hi Prashant,
Re-directing to another URL on load of page is a very simple piece of HTML code.Put this on the layout of page from where you want to re-direct to the other URL.

Here the important line is the 3rd line which begins with "<metas". The operation is "refresh" which means to "refresh" the current page with the information that follows. The content begins with a zero, which is the number of seconds to wait, and then the URL that you should be taken to.
So the above code would re-direct you to the http://sdn.sap.com page as soon as you log in.

to modify "s_login_page" and run AutoConfig. Make sure you have the latest AutoConfig patch applied (Patch 5985992 - TXK AUTOCONFIG ROLLUP PATCH Q (JUL/AUG 2007))
Now it is OK for login page. But :
1-when entering in E_BUSINESS or OAM it goes back to ancient URL ? Should we change some other parameters ?
2-when loging in for example as sysadmin, first time it fails with this message :
You have insufficient privileges for the current operation.
we login again and it is ok , user can enter.

Change song to podcast?

I have three tracks which were downloaded from Guardian Unlimited (the ricky gervais/steve merchant podfather episodes) however they are just in my Music list.
Is there a way i can change them to Podcasts? I would like to do this ideally so that they don't show up in the "Music" folder on my Ipod classic, and i could have them with the other Ricky gervais podcasts IN the podcast section on my ipod.

Changing URLs on multiple pages

Hi,
after Migration from SP2007 to 2010 I have to Change URLs on multiple (about 400) pages. The pages contain XSLTListViewWebparts, DataFormWebparts, ListViewWebparts and XSLT with hardcoded URLs. About 20 URLs per page.
Can I achieve this with some scripts? I am able to write a script for the Webpart properties, but I don't know how to modify the XSLT. Best way would be to simply change the source code, but until now I was just able to modify the "ghosted"
part of the source code. It didn't affect the Webparts and so on.

Hi Stefan,
Per my understanding, you might want to change URLs on your pages which are generated from XSLT.
A solution can be like this: as the URLs are hardcoded in these pages, we can iterate through the URLs which you want to modify in each page using JavaScript. Then add the JavaScript
into the master page, it would take effect on the pages which referenced this master page.

Removed Podcast, Failing to Re Sumbit, Tried changeing name, Removed Podcast, Failing to Re Sumbit, Tried changeing name

I submitted a podcast a few weeks ago, but the title was wrong and I wanted to change some other things. Couldn't figure out how to do it. Emailing apple got no response. Then asked for podcast to be taken down so i could resubmit. Podcast was removed from store.
In attempting to resubmit the podcast I keep getting feed already exists errors, even though it is no longer in the store.
Tired changing Feed Name and Url many times. I am using Feed Burner.

There is a bug in the automated part of the submissions process which will tell you that a feed has already been submitted even if it's been removed from the Store. The workaround is to change the title, and if possible the link tag and the feed URL. You can always change the title back afterwards as long as doing so doesn't change the feed URL (it some cases it will and Blogger may be one of them, but if you are submitting the Feedburner version you can sort that out in Feedburner). You can't get round this by any other method.
If you create a weblog in Blogger the feed contain all the episodes, not just those with media: it's better for your podcast feed to be only podcasts and to keep a weblog separate. You could start an entirely new blog to be just the podcast, and keep the existing one for non-podcast episodes.
The 'enclosure' tag in the feed contains the URL of the media file and is required for iTunes. One of your episodes does have this - '1 - Gods Of Earth 09/02/12' - so whatever you did there is what you should be doing. Your descriptions in a podcast feed should be kept reasonably brief and shouldn't contain links - iTunes won't display them as working links.
You might find it helpful to look at my page on podcasting - http://rfwilmut.net/pc - which contains a sample basic feed. You aren't writing your own feed, and you can't amend the one you have directly, so it's not directly relevant: but it would just give you an idea of how the process works and what you should be looking for. I can't advise on the specifics of making a podcast in Blogger.

I'm confused.
I have read the instructions to this topic but don't understand how to implement the change. I understand the change tag is <new-itunes-feed-url> which I need to put before and after the feed url, but which feed url the old one or the new one? I presume it's the new one in which case my host doesn't allow it, so how do I move my subscribers over. I was going to leave a podcast as suggested but, but well, how do I change my podcast feed with itunes.
My feed url at the moment is http://kiwicarioca.podomatic.com.rss2xml and my new feed is http://kiwicarioca-esl.com/?feed=podcast

Changing host for podcast _HELP

We redesigned our website and went with a new host. Our podcast is still the same, we just changed some of the media that's available. The biggest change is the location of the xml file. My webmaster told me the website and the xml file are setup correctly. is there something we need to do through iTunes to complete the transfer?

Your podcast appears to consist of mixes of Michael Jackson and perhaps other records (I haven't examined the episodes in any detail), presumably mostly commercially issued tracks.
If you have not obtained either permission in writing from the copyright owners, or a podcasting licence from a recognized authority, then you are in breach of copyright and that would be sufficient reason for your podcast to be removed (they may only just have woken up to it). I have to say that when they reject a podcast for reasons of content they really ought to give an indication that this is why.
If you have in fact cleared the material for use in your podcast then you would have to make this clear to Apple.
If you are able to resubmit and get approval, and are able to retain the same feed URL, then your subscribers shouldn't be affected.

By file name, do you mean the obvious file name that I would save it as on my desktop? Markedly, this is different.
When I uploaded the image to Feedburner, I merely posted the direct link to the image in my photobucket account. It would not have a file name per se. Soundcloud is the only host that I uploaded the actual file to (I used the requisite 1400x1400 size).
Is it normal for this process to take over two weeks? Checking my records, I originally changed the image on the 14th of October.

How to Change URL of BPA after clicking on Open Document in PO Notification for India Localization?

In the Purchase Order Approval workflow notification , there are two links at the bottom of page under heading REFERENCES,
- view PDF
- open document
So when we click on open document, the Oracle Forms loads and purchase order screen will appear in the screen.
In case of India localization, for standard PO the India local screen opens, where we can see the taxes by clicking on Taxes Button.
But in case of blanket purchase agreements, when we click on open document link from the notification,we are routed to the application with the screen of global purchase order, instead it
should go to Purchase Orders(Localization).
We want to move to the India local po screen for BPA.
So please let me know, where I can change the URL for Blanket Purchase Agreements.

You need to use adaptive webservice model to change the webservice URL based on the environment i.e. Dev,Test or production which is availiable in NWDS 2004s environment.
You can refer to links mentioned in below forum.

if you you are using webservice model then you need to write the code to generate URL for end point dynamically based on the application environment.
and then you need to set EndPoint of webservice model with that URL befroe execution of the model.
e.g.
