Changing process from primitive to composite bug?

When I change a process type from primitive to composite I am not abe to change it back to primative again.
Is that a bug?

I had a primitive process and just wated to test to see what would happen if I changed it.
then I wanted to chagne it back and thats when it would not let me.
I would think that your code should check to see if the composite process has any flows to other process and if it dose, it should not let you change it to a primitive process. However, if the process (primitive or composite) does not have flows you could change it from one process type to the other.
or,
don't allow the manual change of the process type at let your code derive if it is a composite or primitive by the fact that it has flows or no flows. That way it would be dynamic.
What are your thoughts?

How to reference BPMN process from a different Composite

I have one "master" composite that defines a BPMN process. This process takes the input and, based on that input, will direct the workflow to the required BPMN process. There will be several BPMN process that can be referred to, and each one is created in its own Composite.
Currently, in the "master" composite, I've created a Web Service Adapter that is a reference to the required BPMN process from a different composite.
There seems to be something missing my composite.xml source though, for when I try to compile everything, I get an exception.
First, here's the XML for the reference in the "master" composite. You can see that there is no value for the web service port or location. I'm not sure what it should be because this is all design-time. At some point, I will deploy all of the composites to one server.

There needs to be a binding defined in the other WSDL. If there is not at design time you may need to deploy the 2nd composite in order to get a copy of its WSDL with a binding defined.

Details: As indicated in the bug report, ResponseFilter uses a HashMap to store header name and value pairs. In cases where multiple values exist for the same name, ResponseFilter was simply overwriting the earlier value. Added new logic in ResponseFilter such that multiple values for the same name are stored into an ArrayList and sent to the client as an ArrayCollection. Although not mentioned in the bug, the same problem can potentially happen in RequestFilter, so added the same fix there as well.

Building a Composite Business Process from Scratch-Guided 1 (Cannot Build)

Hi, I have tried to followed the document : Building a Composite Business Process from Scratch with SAP NetWeaver BPM u2013 Guide 1 to create my first BPM program, however, the program cannnot be built. I don't knoww how to fix the program, can you help?

Hi Matt,
Check the following in your process:
- If you have gateways in your process, ensure that all the paths have conditions and atleast 1 default path for gateway is set
- Check for Process Administrator assignment and TaskLevel/Lane level potential owners are assigned
- Check for the i/o mapping of tasks
- Check the Problem View for th errors.

Batch image processing from bridge cause photoshop to crash

But first it goes ahead and processes the images selected in Bridge. All of them like even over a hundred at a time (great time saver!). Then displays a message for each image in one error dialogue saying, "Sorry Photoshop couldn't process the image. . ." for each image.
It also saves the images to the a folder above (in hierarchy) instead of the folder I select in the batch dialogue. I've tried using Batch process from within Photoshop and get the same result as image process from Bridge.
While I am able to do the processing I need, it's annoying to have the force quit Photoshop each time, and Then to move the processed images where they belong.
I am on a G5, 4mb ram, OSX 10.4.11. Photoshop CS3 #10.0.1, and bridge CS3 # 2.1.1.9.
I usually do the updates when I'm alerted, but haven't heard of anything recently.
Any ideas?

Try changing the size to something very small.- see below
Try changing the compression. Not affected by the level of Quality (2% 50% or 100%) - all fail to load
Try changing whether a color-profile is embedded or not. Not an option AFAIK in LR Export
Try changing if the metadata is minimized or not. Not an option AFAIK in LR Export
Try changing if the JPGs are exported relative to the source image or some fixed location. Exported to a specific location.
If I use the Image export resize option it loads OK (resize to 1000*673 from 3916*2634).
Older exports (from LR2.3 and earlier, of the same size image, and source DNG are OK)
A centre crop from the Image (1205*691) is OK. A marginal crop (2 edges) (3838*2552) is OK whereas a very slight crop at (3693*2614) FAILS
The camera is Leica M8, images is in Leica RAW format (DNG).
It appears to be function of Image export size (reduced either by Cropping or by 'Resizing on Export'

Error while invoking ESB process from a BPEL process

Hi all
We have a requirement to call an ESB process from a BPEL process. We are using an adapter wth the ESB's WSDL url. After deploying the BPEL process, the registered ESB is getting called for most values while suddenly some values return the followign error
*"exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection reset"*
The catch here is, if we re-run the process with the same values again, the ESB is called successfully! How is it possible for a process to error out and run normally for the same inputs ?
What could be the possible fix for this? I am thankful for any inputs on this.

I cannot change my username despite Itunes telling me I must change it from my aol username. All support has told me is to log in and I will be cued to do so. This doesnot happen. This is my 4th attempt at help.

Itunes sent email that said I had to change username from aol account. I have logged out, logged in again and no cue to change this pops up. I have attempted 3 different times to get help and each time, someone tells me to do the SAME EXACT THING THAT I HAVE DONE 20 TIMES AND HAD NO EFFECT. The only thing that itunes allows me to do is change my password NOT MY USERNAME.

Details of the upgrade process are at Convert your AOL Username to an Apple ID, however you only need to make this change if your AppleID is based on an AOL screen name rather than an email address that ends in say @aol.com or @aol.co.uk.
The fact the you've tried signing out and in again without being promoted suggests your Apple ID is based on your email address and therefore nothing needs to be done.

It's not entirely impossible actually as someone has pointed out to me that I can turn on Call Forwarding and that stops any incoming calls. I've just forwarded it to my google voice number and then turned on "do not disturb" in google voice and whenever I get a call it goes straight to my google voice voicemail and my phone does nothing. The only thing now is I still get text messages but I think the phone calls bugged me more because they would make my music turn off for much longer.
Even though this isn't a perfect solution it's something so far so maybe you shouldn't just come out and say there's NOTHING I can do because so far I've found part of a solution. If you don't have anyting productive to say then just don't reply and close the tab. Thanks.

Urgent help:Populate Manager field in AD process from

Hi All,
I have been trying to populate AD Manager field in process from. I have a custom pre pop adapter that fetches DN from the AD. The DN fetched has an escape character which i am removing it in custom code.
The pre pop adapter populates Manager Name filed with a value similar to CN=userlastname, userfirstname,CN=Users,DC=dummy,DC=com.
We have a requirement that the CN should be lastname, firstnamame. I will not be able to use the escape characters while provisioning. Any suggestions as how to implement this would be of great help.
Also when i try to provision with DN=CN=userlastname userfirstname,CN=Users,DC=dummy,DC=com i get the following error message.

Please help.

Two ideas:
First, are you using the latest AD Connector? If not you might look at the bugs fixed because there are a couple related to commas.
Second, LDAP error 19 is coming from AD and is a constraint violation. You might check if there are any constraints on the AD field in the schema. You also have to make sure that the manager DN that you are trying to use is actually where you say it is before you can set it on a subordinate.

I should remember this but . . . bug with t-sql using Insert Into on a temp table. It is unhappy with fields I'm trying to insert.
It's probably the fact that I'm trying to using some default data w/ aliases for a couple of the fields.

Temp tables are how a bad programmer fakes a scratch tape so his SQL can look like magnetic tape files. We do not like to materialize data on the disk unless we have to.
And data element do not change names from table to table in a schema! Get rid of the aliases, even tho they are closer to ISO-11179 than the base table crap.
But you are an old FORTRAN programmer! Your "OODETL” is six uppercase letters as required by FORTRAN I; an SQL programmer would have used something like “Order_Details” instead. The mix of camelCase, FORTRAN and several other non-SQL languages is scary.
Why did you use MONEY? It is not portable and the math is wrong. Google it! Why do you think that “<something>_code_id” makes any sense? A data element can be a “<something>_code” or a “<something>_id” but never that hybrid disaster.
I would do this with VIEWs so that I know the data is always current.

The SELECT DISTINCT should not be there. An account should not be NULL, etc. Why do you have more nulls in one table than entire accounting systems? Why do you set integer zero to an amount, which should be a decimal for money?
This is a crazy quilt that is clearly a bitch to maintain or even read. Can you clean it up or are you screwed?

Issue with webservice data control while invokin bpel process from ADF side

Hello Experts,
we are creating webservice data control to invoke bpel process from ADF side.
When I run the application and inovoke the bpel every thing is working fine.
But when we are changeing the instances from DEV to SIT the bpel url(hostname and port) will change.
So we just edited DataControls.dcx file and we just replaced the wsdl url and trying to run the applicaiton.
This time the applicaiton is not invoking the bpel process.
If I remove the webservice data control and recreate it with new WSDL url then it is working fine.
Can any one tell us what the exact issue is. Is there any other files do i need to modify or etc.

I have deployed one BPEL process and invoking the same process from ADF test page. I created one Webservice Data Control for this process and did drag and drop to ADF page. It is working fine as expected.
When I created data control, I gave the web service URL as "http://<hostname>:<port>/orabpel/default/<processname>/.......<processname>.wsdl
My question is, if I want to deploy this BPEL process as well as this ADF page into another server, what will happen to this ADF data control ? since the hostname and port will not be similar for the new server. Do I need to change any params ?
Or when we create data control itself, are there any options to achieve this ?
Please let me know the details.

Hi,
Check if your wsdl endpoint can accessed properly. If yes, check the soap-binding address is properly pointing to the server hosting the webservice.

Error while deploying bpel process from jdevelober

hi everybody
, i am beginner and maybe i have some weakness in application server everything ,but i'm trying to handle this ;)
i have installed a new SOA_suite server ,every thing is grate "actually my manager did ;) "
,i've moved from jazen to oid,that works successfully ,"this was me ;)"
then successfully deploy a web-services from jdeveloper ,every thing is grate till now
after that i try to deploy bpel process from jdeveloper also but i have an error which indicates that "access is denied "
i removed the read only for the source on the disk drive but nothing changed !
note: the orcladmin is set to default "welcome1"
but in OID it is another password
someone one told me that this is the problem-the user is not the same password ,is this the reason why i cant deploy my bpel process???
also he told me if i change the "orcladmin" manually the EM will crash ,its not problem for me because i have an image which can be restored back in few minutes .but i need an explanation so i know what's happening.
can any one help please ?

Problem calling different versions of BPEL process from an ESB

We are currenlty having a problem calling a BPEL process from an ESB service.
We initially developed the solution and the two communicated correctly, however it was necessary to make some changes to the BPEL process and we subsequently redeployed the BPEL process incrementing the version number.
However the ESB service when initiated was still calling the initial version of the ESB service.
Is there any way of making the ESB call the default BPEL process version as configured from the BPEL console.

You can accomplish this task by invoking SOAP Service in ESB that points to current WSDL of BPEL process, for example:
http://localhost:8888/orabpel/default/SOAOrderBooking/SOAOrderBooking?wsdl
instead of
http://localhost:8888/orabpel/default/SOAOrderBooking/1.0/SOAOrderBooking?wsdl
