Chase Business Denied on Recon

App went pending, called and denied. Stated reason was too many recent credit cards (other slew of words, but that's what it boiled down to).  Wasn't the 5/24mo rule, as he said we want to see how you handle that before we can extend new credit or approve a new card (which sounds like, not going to move CL over). I've had 3 cards USAA (21.8k), USAA Secured (250), and Military Star (8.4k) all for 4-5 years.  In the last 4 months or so I've applied and been approved for CSP (10k), Freedom (3.5k), Arrival+ (5k), Korean Air (9k).  I intend to close the Korean Air, and now probably Arrival+, at AF. Should I try calling again, or just wait and try applying again in a few months?  Reason I was applying now is I have a 1.2-1.5k expense that needs to be paid in about 2 weeks, and a possible 3k expense (reimburseable) within 90 days.  Figured, might as well go for the next card I wanted when I know I can easily hit the min spend.

Seems that way, wouldn't even accept splitting my CSP CL. What would be a good amount of time to wait?  2-3 months, so they cards are all over 6mo old, more?I suggest you give it 6 months.. The more time you have between applications, the better.6 mo isn't too bad, I have a target number of UR for next summer and that 50k bonus will ensure I have enough.  Just have to look at what big spend I know I'll have around the end of the year so I can hit the bonus.  There's 2-3 other cards I'm interested in, but didn't plan to do anything until 3rd or 4th quater next year on those.

  • Customer recon account change

    Hello Friends,
Our client had a requirement of changing the recon account for customer.
Customer A (recon account 100) already had line items posted from last 2 years, these line items are cleared also.
Now business wants the recon account for this customer A to be G/L#200. Along with that the reporting in balance sheet for this customer is required to be in recon GL 200.
In order to achieve this we did the following:
    1. We made the balance of the customer account zero by transfereing the balance to temperory GL account. (Accounting document # 1200001 created)
    2. Changed the recon account in customer master from 100 to 200.
    3. Made reversal entry, i.e., transfered the balance from temperory GL account to customer account. (Accounting document # 1200002 created)
    4. In balance sheet now the balance is transfered to recon account 200.
But now there is a problem, the customer statement has two open items (documents 1200001 & 1200002) when we are clearing these open items in the customer the impact created earlier with step 3 is getting reversed i.e., the balance from recon account 200 is getting nullified and its going back to recon account 100.
We just want to clear the customer open item how can we do this?
    Please suggest.

Here is the official SAP help on the subject:-
    Hello,
You should run balance sheet adjustment program after any reconciliation account change.
The system performs any adjustments required due to the change of reconciliation accounts or G/L accounts. The items from the old reconciliation accounts are allocated to the new accounts.  Since you cannot post to the reconciliation accounts directly, the postings are made to temporary adjustment accounts.
These adjustment accounts should be displayed along with the relevant reconciliation account in the balance sheet. The postings are then reversed after the balance sheet has been created.  The program for sorting the payables and receivables makes the necessary adjustments automatically. This means that you have to define the adjustment account numbers and the posting keys for these postings in the system.  On the balance sheet key date the open items from the old reconciliation account are allocated to the new reconciliation account using adjustment accounts. This allocation is carried out automatically when you create a sorted list of receivables and payables using report SAPF101.
You should only run this program if your new reconciliation account is classified differently from the original in your FS. e.g.. AR to Intercompany accounts. It will just reclassify the existing balance. The line items will not be transferred. If not then no need to run the program at all.

  • My first MASSIVE approval Chase Hyatt

First I would like to say thank you everyone for always putting out great information.  I've been unable to get an increase in my Chase CSP due to too much available credit.  It's been stuck at 10k forever (ok not really just 18 months).  After reading all the stories about chase branded -vs- non branded, I decided to apply for the Hyatt card last night.  They double pulled me (EX and EQ).  EQ was on ice but I guess they figured a workaround.  Called verification this morning and...  Wait for it!  Approved $24,000.  Not my highest credit limit, but my highest ever starting limit.  I fell out of my chair and asked the csr to repeat that to make sure she didn't mean $2,400.  Chase just denied me the Slate in March 2015 for too many new accounts in the last 2 years.  It's my birthday all over again.

  • Capital One Approved - Verification

This is probably more of a rant than anything else, but might be useful to others. On Wednesday, July 8th, we applied for my wife's first credit card.  She is a green card holder, her social is over a year old.  Chase had denied her, but Capital One showed pre-approved for the QS1.  Applied, instant approval for 3.5k... I was amazed, her credit report is nothing but AU on my new cards. Friday morning we got a call from fraud for verification, no big deal.  We were not at home at the time, so it went to voice mail.  We just called, one business day later, and they said the case is already closed... **bleep**.  After realizing the CSR (who was polite and professional) could not help I asked for a supervisor (my wife and I were on speaker phone, she had authorized me to speak on her behalf).  Supervisor tried to give us the same story, said it was closed because the SSN was incorrect.  Her solution, apply again and take 3 more HP.  I became, slightly, less polite and questioned how they claimed her US Government issued SSN was invalid, the same one entered that said pre-approved.  Finally they agreed to re-open and asked for the standard copy of ID, SSN card, and bank statement.  Should be good now, we'll upload tomorrow and she said 2-3 days for processing. So... yeah.. mostly rant, but if anyone else runs into a similar problem know that you can push them to do the right thing and actually verify you.

  • Which Credit Cards? What counts as income?

Hey! This is my first time posting in this form! It's so exciting. I'm going to be attending my first year of college in September and I'm going to try to build my credit while I'm a student. My goal is to eventually hit the 850 FICO score and to have a large line of credit by the time I graduate. I also want to use different bonuses, points, miles and cash rewards to pay for my travel expenses (I LOVE TRAVELING). I'm fine with having my credit card take a plunge for the next 3 years (I won't be applying for any loans, etc). I'm going to go on an app spree today before gardening for 91 days. I'm trying to find out what credit cards to apply for in which I have a good shot at being approved. I've been lucky enough to have been an authorized user of my sister's CC for 5 years (perfect payment history - around 740-760 FICO scores on all three when I applied for my own) These are the cards I have or applied for recently: Capital One World Master (Authorized User - 7,500 CL)Capital One VentureOne (Recent - 5,000 CL)AMEX Hilton HHonors Card (Recent - 2,000 CL)Citi Student Thank You (Recent - 2,000 CL)BankAmericard Cash Back (1,800 CL)Amazon Prime Store Card (Recent - 1,900 CL)Discover It Chrome for Students (500 CL)Capital One Student Journey (Closed)BankAmericard Travel (Recent - Denied)Chase Freedom (Denied)Chase Amazon Visa (Denied)US Bank Cash+ (Recent - Pending)Upromise Mastercard (Recent - Pending)I'm looking for cards that have high rewards (miles is a bonus) for specific categories/stores. Right now, the only card I'm looking into is the Target Redcard. What are some other cards that I should apply for? Also, would you count scholarships/grants as income on your application. Up to this point, I've been switching sporadically from bank to bank.

Alright! I'll take a break and wait 6 months. There isn't really an immediate need for credit! Thanks for the advice  I think I need someone to tell me to stop. Ahahahah. Just a quick note: All of those recent denials were before all of the recent new cards. So I'm not sure whether thats a reflection of my recent inquiries. Chase said that they couldn't extend a line to me b/c of short credit history (even after recon) and Bank of America doesn't give students a second card.

  • Credit Card Suggestions for Limited History

Hi everyone, My 20 yo cousin is trying to build up his credit. So far he only has a Discover IT that is 10 months old. ($500 CL, Auto CLI to $750 2 months ago). He recently got denied for a Chase Freedom card. Reconned unsuccessfully due to "limited credit history" (guess they really want to see 1 yr history, unless you're lucky). Chase analyst also commented on his util rate (34% at time of application). Aoaa: 10 monthsAccounts: Discover IT $750Income: 20kHP: 1 TU, 1 EX, 0 EQTU FICO 720 What other credit cards should he apply for that will likely approve him? He will bring down his util to <10%. Then I'm thinking he call Discover for a HP CLI, and perhaps apply for Amex? What do you guys think? He is looking for pure cashback cards at this point since he is a college student.

I think Amex likes seeing very low utilization and slightly longer credit history.
Anyway I would say try looking on cap1's pre qualification page and see if anything comes up. If not I'd still say he should consider applying for a capital one quicksilver. Cap1 seems pretty lenient on thin files.

  • Applying A/P Credit memo

    2007A PL49
Have a GRPO in system.  Have not created an A/P invoice yet for the material.  Also have a vendor credit that has not been created in SAP either.
How, if I can, apply the credit memo to the A/P invoice?  Do i create a service A/P invoice so as to not disturb inventory (but leaves GRPO open)?  Or create item A/P invoice (as normal)  and create service A/P credit memo?
    Thanks,
    Rich

discovered a solution to my own question and i will share regardless, with the SDN community:
    1.     Create the A/P invoice as normal (item a/p invoice tied to GRPO)
    2.     Create the A/P credit memo as a service memo (service memos do not disturb inventory qtys.)
    3.     Reconcile the A/P invoice under business partners > int. recon
    a.     Enter the vendor code, choose manual
    b.     Checkmark the Credit memo and the invoice to be paid
    c.     Enter the amount of the invoice in the u201Camount to reconcileu201D field for credit memo (if CM has more cash than invoice, vice versa)
    4.     Click Reconcile

    Hi,
you cannot change reconciliation Account for old Line Items. The SAP provides transaction code F101 to define that but it uses extra accounting to adjust balance sheet groups.
The only way is reverse clearing document by FBRA. Go to F-32 and clear the invoice against a new invoice with same a mount and posting date. Afterwards you clear this new invoice (Acc 200) and you will have your balance sheet equalized.

  • Upgrade policy is senseless.

Here's my deal. I upgraded my wife and my daughters phones in June of this past year with featured phones. We didn't feel that we needed smart phones at that time. I was eligible in Oct of '10. Recently my wife and I have been exploring the smart phones.
I've called and spoke with reps about upgrading myself and my wife to new smart phones with data packages. I'm being told that I can not upgrade my wife until 2013. this is completely senseless to me. How can a business deny you to spend more money with their company? I just can NOT fathom this. I'm willing to spend an additional $2880.00 for 2 years, on an upgrade with data packages. It's like going to a car dealership, buying a new vehicle and 3 months down the road the new models come out and they tell you, that you can't get a newer model. "yes sir we are denying you paying us more money." This is unreal. I'd like to know who the genius at Verizon is who decided on this policy and what the philosophy is behind this.
Anyone have an LOGICAL explanation for this?

I have an explanation, your premise is incorrect! Verizon has no problem with you paying them more money to get a new smartphone for you and your wife. YOUR problem is that you are not happy with the amount of more money that your would have to pay Verizon for these phones.
Verizon is more than willing to sell you any phone you want at the full retail price of the phone. What they are not willing to do is to give you a subsidy on that phone until they recoup the subsidy they gave you on the last phone you purchased at a discounted price. You can at any time upgrade your phone at the full retail price. If you are unhappy with this price, that is your choice, but don't then go and say Verizon is unwilling to sell you a phone, because they are willing. You are unwilling to pay for it, though.

  • Thoughts on what cards I should target next

I am trying to decide which cards I should target next. My goal is building up a point balance for a trip to Japan or maybe Brazil. I have four new accounts from Jan which are over six months old now and a prestige card that I picked up two months ago. I can do personal or business cards. Where should be my main focus if I am looking for premium redemptions. RIght now I have about 90k TY points coming in so I was looking into maybe workijng towards signapore airlines, because I can use TY points and amex MRs with their program and redeem for a suite. Normally I would look for AA redemptions but I only have like 14k AA miles in my account and don't think I will be able to build the account back up  that quickly. I have abut 44k amex MRs saved up at moment. Some thoughts on what I might do. I am considering going for the citi premier card for the signup offer since I already have the prestige and I could use that card for travel bonus spend (if I did this then I would have 140k TY points to use). I could pick up the chase co-branded marriott card to redeem for some marriott stays, although I want to go for the ink plus when they have a good signup offer so I'm trying to avoid more chase apps. For amex I was looking at maybe a personal plat or a business plat/prg. None of the signups at the moment look super appealing and I am not getting the great signup offer via cardmatch for the plat. I have a number of URs saved up already but I am trying to save those for hyatt redemptions vs using them on airfare. Which card offers would you suggest I target and which cards should I focus my spend on? I was thinkg about going hard on the Everyday card to try to get my MR account up. .  I currently have venture, cs, citi aa plat, citi prestige, amex everyday, amex spg, ink bold, arrival+, citi hilton, chase hyatt, freedomI got rid of or downgraded the following: csp, amex prg, Citi AA exec

On second thought it looks like getting the Ink Plus may be harder than I thought. I got notified today that they are changing the bold card over to a revolver basically. They said there will be a set limit and I have option to pay over time with interest. This seems like it will make it very difficult for me to convince chase that I need the ink plus when I already have the bold.Well not necessarily, I'm sure there are others out there that have 2 Chase business cards and didn't have to do any convincing (although I could be wrong). Maybe you should just try for the Ink Plus now if that's the card you really want?Because they have had much higher signup offers in the past. Don't want to app for a 50k offer when I have seen 70k offers in the past and sometimes the higher offers occur around the end of summer. No way to predict for sure, but being its that time of year makes it worth waiting a month or two.

  • Up grade or PC ink ?

I probably know the answer already but hoping I missed something, can or will chase allow to upgrade Ink cash to Ink plus? Because ink plus which I wanted to apply for is more beneficial for me, travels, ect. I don't want to apply for another chase business card. If was it would prob be southwest business.which I do fly in short trips, also anyone know or can confirm if I either apply for a business chase card do they use the same app pull personal ?
    Thanks

With Chase range of Ink cards, the Ink Cash is the lower tier and for you to do an upgrade to the Ink Plus they will do a hardpull for the upgrade. On the other hand, if you already have the Ink Plus and want to downgrade to the Ink Cash you can without a hardpull. So evaluate how you want to use the hardpull and go from there.

  • When Chase Recon approves you but you're still not approved.....

So, I have had my personal and business checking accounts with Chase for months now, trying to get in with them for a CC. Last app was 6 months ago for a personal card, which was declined. My recon consisted of me describing how well my business is doing and how much money is being brought in, in general, and how I'd love the card for various reasons. At that time, the analyst said, "but you're not applying for a business card" and it was ultimately declined. So this time, this time I thought I'd do things differently and get a business card first so that I might have an "in" with them and garden for a while before trying for a personal card (this is what I did with Amex and it worked out just fine). I thought surely it wouldn't be declined as I have an outstanding banking relationship with Chase, a good CC profile overall with perfect payments, though I do have some credit dings (now finally over 2 years old, which is the amount of time they said to wait before trying again) that are still there and have been the reason for denial in the past. Anyway.... the applicaiton for the card was declined so I called recon. The analyst asked me probably 20 questions about the business, and I was put on hold several times. Ultimately she said that although she recognizes some bad things on my CR, she sees they are aging (over 2 years old) and she was happy to approve for $5k for an Ink card.  Then there was silence. She was confused. She asked for another couple minutes because the system wasn't letting her override the decision. Eventually she said she would have to call me back, as she's not experienced this problem before. She called me back an hour later. Her manager, a senior analyst, had to get involved and decided to decline. Does anyone have experience with this? An analyst that actually approves you (or tries to) and then he or she can't? What to do? Let it go? Call again? Call EO?

Does anyone have any luck ever with Chase EO? Otherwise I like the suggestion to contact business banker...@Skinmatters, I'd still go in and talk to a business banker about the application...  If that fails then that is when you can reach out to their EO.  But business banker first- I will keep fingers crossed for you and let us know the outcome!!

I went to Central Admin > Security > Specify Web application Policy > Search for the service account for crawl and it's "svc_SPSearch"

After this I still get 17000 error, 1 success.. Still an error.
I am not sure how the crawler's trust to FAST infrastructure works.
    Your response is appreciated. Thanks!

    I have the same issue.
I have Configured the BDC Service application using SQL external content. The connection was successful and I am able to see the external content in the List "BDC Demo" . But when I search in the BDC Demo site it gives nothing.
So I checked in the crawl logs and identified that it shows " 1 " under error. to further drill down the issue , I went to click on "1" and see the error message : Error while crawling LOB contents SharePoint 2013 .
I have created an external DB named BCSDemo_DB for which I have granted my search Service account read& write permission.
I have added the same account under administrators for both secure store and BCS service applications.
I have done index reset , done a full crawl but the error still occurs.
Can someone please advise if I am missing something.

    Any ideas ?

    Hi Matthew,
Interesting message as we use the O/I ad-on... on the EMD record, go to the Membership tab and add 'Sales Employee' under "Role" to the EMD record. Shot in the dark but that's all I got.

I also can call the function without any problems in this way (by passing my credentials manually):
    http://172.16.34.33:5555/invoke/MobileDataEntry/CustomerOrderCreate?DISTR_CHAN=01&DIVISION=00&DOC_TYPE=ZMDE&PARTN_NUMB=0000102642&PARTN_ROLE=AG&REQ_DATE_H=20080420&SALES_ORG=4920
Do you have any idea what is going wrong? Why do I get "Access Denied"? What causes this?
    Best regards
    Torsten

    Hi Christian,
this solved my problem two weeks ago.
I actually run the solution with 'Anonymous' access, as I don't know how to submit the Username with soapUI (header entry does not work). soapUI is a generic SOAP testing frontend (see soapui.com).
Everything of our solution is under development at this time. I guess, that the final client service will not deal with those problems.
    Nevertheless, you get the points...
    Best regards
    Torsten
