Chat Functionality in Interaction Center

Hi Experts,
I need your help & assistance please.
Our client is interested to integrate Chat functionality in their SAP CRM Interaction Center (CRM 7.0 EHP3). They need this functionality only to interact with their own employees and not to outsiders.
Is it possible to provide such an integration with their existing Microsoft communicator? If yes, please share the details of your earlier experience.
We are not immediately considering CTI integration. I found that chat functionality is part of ICI (Integrated Communication Interface). Is it the same as CTI? Do we need any other tools for this integration?
Thanking you
- Sai Srinivas Ivaturi

Hi,
Chat functionality can be enabled through BCM or CTI integration.i hope that is not possible using the Microsoft communicator

  • Web shop LWC Chat and Interaction Center integration

    Hello All,
As I know, Live Web Collaboration in SAP E-Commerce for mySAP CRM (B2B, B2C Shops, and Internet Customer Self-Service) supports chat in CRM Interaction Centre WebClient, so that customer requests for assistance via chat are forwarded directly to the IC WebClient.
I had maintain LWC component in B2B Web Shop and LWC application for Agents, so chat between Consumer and  Agent work fine. Also I maintain IC WebClient and Contact Center Simulator for testing, as described in this blog (/people/stephen.johannes/blog/2008/05/21/crm-contact-center-simulator-setup) .  I tested chat and telephony functions u2013 all  work fine.
Than I tried to integrate LWC chat function and IC WebClient. I did all necessary settings as described in LWC XCM application help, CRM7.0 help (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/fe/4cad3efa11b300e10000000a114084/frameset.htm)  and SAP Solution Manager  (http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2004/helpdata/EN/E8/9B0342D0369C39E10000000A155106/frameset.htm) .
But integration donu2019t work. When I try requests for assistance via chat in B2B shop, I receive message u2013u201C No agent is available to assist you. Try again lateru201D
Can any one tell me what are the possible ways to integrate  LWC Chat in B2B Web Shop with Interaction Center WebClient?
    Regards,
    Yuriy

    Hello Oliver,
I had maintain LWC component in B2B XCM (http://<host>/b2b/admin/xcm/init.do  path: General Application Settings  -> Customer  -> lwc -> lwcconfig). Here I configure JMS host and port.
Also I maintain LWC XCM (http://<host>/lwc/admin/xcm/init.do). I had create custom scenario where I configure JCO connector to back end system.
Then, in customer side  I go to the B2B Web shop (http://<host>/b2b/init.do), click Help link, and then in pop-up window - Customer Support - > by Chat.
In Agent side I open LWC  (http://<host>/lwc /init.do), enter my user  name and password, click Available button, and after Customer send request for Chat, press  Pick Request.
In this case B2B Web Shop Customer can chat with Agent. Multichat also supported u2013 one Agent can chat more than one customer. But LWC application interface looks primitive and limited.
I am interesting how I can integrate LWC and IC WebClient as it described in SAP help.  Anybody can help me?

  • How E-mail functionality works with Interaction Center Webclient

    Dear all,
How the E-mail functionality works with IC Webclient, How can we can send and receive E-mails to customers and internal employees through Interaction Center.
Does SMTP server required to be involved for this functionality or External Telephony system Vendor iprovides this function.
What is ERMS? and why we use this in IC Webclient.
Please educate me to understand the concept of E-mail functionality in IC Webclient.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Best wishes,
    Raghu ram.

    Hello Raghu ram,
The SAP CRM Interaction Center uses a concept of a shared email inbox for agent teams. This allows customers to communicate with your Interaction Center by sending emails to a corporate email address like service@yourcompany. You typically group your agents together into queues based on a particular product or skillset. Using this concept, customer's don't send emails directly to a specifc agent's email address, and agent's don't send emails directly to each other. That would rather still be done with groupware products like Microsoft Outlook.
You have three options for routing emails into the CRM Interaction Center. You can push emails real-time to agents via a screen pop using third-party contact-center software like SAP BCM, Genesys, Avaya, and so on. Or there are two options for sending emails into the agent inbox, where the emails are processed in offline mode by agents, technicians, and engineers. You can route emails directly to a specific inbox group/queue by using different emails addreses. Or, you can leverage ERMS to decide where which agents to route the email to based on business rules.
Please see the various notes mentioned above that appear in the sticky note on top of this forum. For example, there is a nice 85 page FAQ document on the Agent Inbox in note 882653. And ERMS note 940882 is also very useful.

    John

  • Interaction Center Mode functionality in B2C Web shop

    Hi,
We have a requirement in which sales rep of a company will pre-populate a shopping cart for the customer in B2C Web shop. Later customer can order that shopping cart.
We are trying to achieve this requirement through Call/Interaction Center Mode functionality.
If anybody has worked on this functionality before or has any idea, please share.
    Regards, Vipul Kumar.
    Edited by: vipul_kumar02 on May 27, 2011 12:11 PM

    Hi,
I have configured the call center mode functionality in spro (Customer Relationship Management -> Web Channel -> Basic Settings -> Activate Links from CRM WebClient UI to Web Channel Applications -> Start Web Shop in Interaction Center Mode) with the help of information given on help.sap.com.
Now I can see B2C Web shop link on Web UI. The problem when I click on the link it's working if the URL in the backend is of google.com but not working for B2C Web shop. I think the problem is with the role assigned to the user.
If anybody has any idea, please share.

  • Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order

We are in the process of upgrading from CRM 4.0 sp 6 to CRM 2007.  We have been using the Web IC and Mobile sales for the last 4 years.  In our original CRM 4.0 implementation (which was developed by SAP) we were using the CRM Web IC to create orders with R/3 using a couple of BADI's.  We are currently using R/3 4.7 and have plans to upgrade to ECC 6.0 next year.  I was just rereading some of the documentation in the upgrade guide and came across the following line:
"The following software units are required for the Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order scenario:
Mandatory:  IC WebClient with specific ERP Sales order viewset requires SAP ECC 6.0"
This implies that the standard Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order functionality will not work in our current landscape and that it would only do so when we upgrade to ECC.  What options are open to us to get around this?  What is the technical reason why this functionality doesn't work with SAP R/3 4.7?
I can't imagine we are the first company to face this problem and I can't imagine everyone upgraded to ECC 6 - so what approaches have people taken to address this issue
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie

In the last 12 months we upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 in CRM and went form 46C to ECC 6.0.
In your current landscape you can create orders in the ICWC where the order is created in CRM and replicates to R/3 4.7.     You have the replication scenarios X, Y, Z available to you.
Your other option is using the ICWC R/3 order screen where you basically are calling R/3 transaction VA01 and entering the order in the ICWC but the order entry in being done directly into R/3 via your ITS server.  Looks almost exactly like VA01 in the gui.  The menu bars are a little different.
The ERP order looks like other ICWC screens,  is very sharp and users wouldn't know that they are entering the order directly in ECC.  We have been using it about 3 months.  More Pro's than Con's, if you have user exits in MV45AFZ* the ERP order still uses them  (but t-code isn't VA01 if you have condition If statements around t-codes).
    Hope this helps,

  • Manual BP creation in Interaction center

    Hi all,
We got a new requirement stating, that we need to create a bp with basic details(address and bank account details)
    manually in interaction center.
Manually means, user will give the bp and we need to create a business partner with the same bp number in CRM.
Can anyone suggest me the way to acheive this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you Arden.
Yes i need to configure the bp number range.
technically, so i need to create a value node and this value node will get filled in interaction center by user input
and then i need to pass the values in the value node to one internal table
and that internal table will be the importing parameter to the bapi function call BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA.
    Is this a correct way?
If no please suggest me some other possible ways.
If correct, please let me know how to pass the values in the value node to internal table.
    Thanks,
    Aishwarya

  • "Transaction Cancelled" in Interaction Center

    CRM Experts,
I am facing issues while working with CRM 2007 Interaction Center. After confirming the Business Partner, when I move to Interaction Record or Complaint, all the fields are Greyed out and on top of the screen there is a message "Transaction Cancelled".
I have assigned IC_BT Function Profile in my Business Role. Also CONTENT_MGMT Function Profile is set to DEFAULT.
If I click on "Retun to Current Interaction Record" in the Recent Interaction History, it starts working fine.
    Please advise.
    Thanks

    hi Daljit pal singh,
This error occurs due to missing parameters in runtime framework profile.
Create a new runtime framework profile with the following values
    Separate Display Mode  -  ON
    Application          -         BSPWD_BASICS
    View Set Name    -   WorkAreaHostViewSet
    View Area Name  -   WorkAreaView
History Type       - Simple History Stack
Operation Mode  - automatic Recording of changes in work area
    Max. Entries -
and add the  following custom controllers to runtime framework profile.
    CRMCMP_BPIDENT         CuCoIdentification
    CRMCMP_UIEVENT      CuCoUiEvents
    ICCMP_BT_GLOBAL         CuCoIRec
    ICCMP_FEEDBACK         FeedbackCuCo
assign this runtime framework profile  to your business role. This will resolve your issue.
    thanks

  • Modification in interaction center Customer Fact Sheet of XSLT program

    Hi All,
There is a requirement to do a small modification in CRM winclient Interaction Center Customer Fact Sheet.
A new data need to be displayed in the fact sheet according to certain condition.
The fact sheet is displayed upon the code written in XSLT program. Need to understand how the code is fetching the data values from the RFC client. The part of the code is as below (unable to post the code). Can some one tell me what the attributes in the XSLT code are and where are they defined.
Condition need to be written to display the meter type based on the serial number of the meter. Can this be done in XSLT program or else where.
I have also looked at the class for the environment ZCL_CFS_GET_ENVIROMENT. I do not see any custom method created here. Also looked that there were no BADI available.
Kindly let me know where the condition need to be written.
    Thanks to All
    Regards
    P Raj

The info object of the environment is assinged with class ZCL_CFS_GET_ENVIRONMENT, this class has method GET_REPORT, this method calls function module ZCRM_CFS_READ_ENVIR.
The code of condition is to be written in this function module.
The attributes of the code is to be called in the specific area in the XSLT program of the environment.

  • Access to Outbound Emails in Interaction Center

    Hello All,
In our CRM 2007 interaction centre users send emails to customers through the email component. We would like there to be a capability to view a history of these outbound emails just like there is with inbound emails in the inbox. What are the steps involved in setting up this functionality??
Or if one could direct us to any documentation out there that relates to this.
    Any advise is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jonathan

    Hello Jonathan,
Maybe you can elaborate on your requirements a bit more. For example, by default in the Interaction Center any outbound agent emails should be automatically linked to the current customer Interaction Record AND to the current One Order business transaction (e.g., open service ticket, complaint, etc.). Later you are able to view all emails (both inbound and outbound) associated with a particular Interaction and/or business transaction. Is this enough for your requirement?
Or are you somehow interested in a report or list of all outbound emails sent by a certain agent, irrespective of a particular customer interaction or business transaction? If so, there are no default capabilities in this area and I would imagine that such a requirement would require quite extensive development and code modification. Perhaps the other experts can chime in?
    Best regards,
    John

  • Toolbar in Interaction Center (CRM 2007)

    Hi,
I have added few buttons in the toolbar of Interaction Center of CRM 2007. I want now to catch the event, when the user click on those buttons. If I understand it correctly I have to add the new event in the function wsb_handler. How can i find this function? I  found the view wsb_icon.htm in the  BSP application iccmp_ccs. But how can i navigate to the function wsb_handler to add my new event?
    Regards
    beny

    Hello Beny,
You may add the action handler in the method ACTION_HANDLER of class CL_CRM_MCM_SESSION.  This is a good starting point.  In addition, using the debugger to see the call stack to this method also recommended.  This will give you an idea how the call flow from the button click to the server side action handler.
    Hope this helps.

  • SAP CRM WebUI : End Button Interaction center (and account CONFIRM)

    Hi to everybody,
is there a function , or bapi , that performs the same steps of "END" button on interaction center?
I need to display data of the account selected and not the account confirmed.
At last,is there also a function to confirm an account without using the standard button on "Account Identification" view?
Or have i to degub the standard code directly?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.
    Dario.

    Hello, Dario.
So there is a class CL_CRM_IC_AUTO_NAV2. It's preloaded when the agent logins to CRM. In a view CRMV_IC_APP_COMP you can maintain which classes are preloaded. This class is for AUTONAVIGATION component.
Take a look at it. It subscribes for some IC events in IF_CRM_IC_COMPONENT~INITIALIZE. For instance, for interaction_ended event. And it handles this event in method HANDLE_INTERACTION_ENDED. There is a code which makes default navigation:
    if me->end_descr_object is initial.
       TRY.
          iv_nav_srv->navigate_to_default( ).
         CATCH cx_root.
       ENDTRY.
    endif.
You may try to copy this class to your own, then comment this block in your class and subsitute standard class with your own in CRM_IC_APP_COMP.
    Hope this will help.
