Check database consistency failed in DB13 for the below system. We got the same error in DEV, QAS, PRD.

Alerts - All Metrics Errors - Health Check - Collection Failure

I have database instances with Health Check - Collection Failures.
These errors are almost 30 days old. I originally received the Health Check errors because the credentials were not set properly. I then set them but the errors have not aged out.
Does anyone know how can I clear out the Health Check errors?
When I look at All Metrics, Health Check for one of these databases, the Last Upload date is very old.
Maybe I can I force a re-collection?

ATP check for delivery in ECC & Sales order ATP check in APO

Hi All,
Can we do an ATP check for delivery in ECC , but for the same set of Materials- Plant combination , the ATP check when a SO is created should happen in APO .
We do not want to remove the Business event 'B' which is meant for delivery in APO . For some materials we need APO ATP check to happen for delivery & for some it should be in ECC & for SO the ATP check should happen in APO .
Even if we do not have check instructions pertaining to Business event 'B' & a particular check mode (for the materials where the ATP check for delivery should happen in ECC & SO check to happen in APO) , when we are doing an ATP check for delivery , it is still pointing to APO ATP check rather than ECC check .
Any pointers for this is highly appreciated.

Hi Surendra,
For SO, business event is A and for delivery it's B. When integrated with ECC, the check rule in ECC points as biz event in APO.
You can control ATP check by customized settings for check rule in ECC.
Also, by setting requirement class and requirement type in ECC, you control check mode in APO. So, even if you dont define for check mode in APO, the system might refer from ECC for the ATP check settings. Look into your ECC customization for how requirement class is derived and settings for requirement type. (based on MRP type, strategy grp and Item cat).
I'm not sure how you can control ATP to happen for some sales orders/deleveries in ECC and for some in APO, since check mode is mentioned in material master.
However, there are ATP BADIs (business add-ins) available in both ECC and APO, whch can serve your purpose.

I am trying to write a script that checks failures/faults on the Solaris servers(8/9/10) using commands prtdiag -v, echo | format,metastat errors and iostat errors .

Availability Check from CRM using ECC / Assembly Order

Hi,
we're using an ATP Check from ECC to CRM 5.0. As described in the SAP Notes, assembly orders are not supported in this ATP scenario.
Does anybody have experience to overcome this (without implementing APO or creating the orders directly in ECC)? Any enhancements / work arounds?

Hello Anke,
you cannot have both, ATP check in CRM during order change/creation and in ERP when the order gets replicated to ERP-SD.
But when there is no ATP check used in the CRM at all (for the current item category), and the order gets saved in CRM and replicated to ERP, during this replication and order creation in the ERP-SD the regular ATP check in the SD order can run as usual, of course.
This means the scenario can be setup without ATP check in the CRM, but having assembly as usual in ERP-SD. Only the immediate information about the confirmed dates/quantities from the assembly order would be missing in the CRM order.

Forecast accuracy check in R/3 ECC 6.0

Folks,
We've designed a Flexible Plng solution for our clients to address a very complex reqt. But as it stands, any good design of Flex Plng (SOP for that matter) is incomplete without a very reliable way to forecast & keep bettering the forecast via regular forecast accuracy checks.
To that end, wanted to know if anyone has worked with tools within R/3 Forecasting that allow us to carry out robust forecast accuracy checks. If yes, pls share your inputs on how this can be achieved..

How to check job failure reasons in Prime Infrastructure

We have PI version 1.3. I applied a CLI template and I saw the job's last run status is Failure in the Jobs Dashboard. But I cannot see any detail information about why it failed. Is there anyway we can see the job failure reasons? Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. Acutally I cannot see that small circle in jobs dashboard. I finally found out I need to click on the job, then click on History, then the small circle is there under the History.

To Turn OFF ATP check in APO-GATP Instead do locally in ECC.

Dear SAP Friends,
Currently for Sales orders & Deliveries, we have ATP Check (Allocation Check + Product Check) happening in APO-GATP. We would like to turn-off ATP check in APO-GATP, instead want to do only Inventory Check in ECC locally.
We want to do above for few particular model/plant combinations and not for all model/plant combinations. Meaning APO-GATP will still be used for many other APO relevant Model/Plant combinations.
What are the changes required to CIF Integration models u2013 Salesorder+ATP Check, or any other IM. Any changes specific to material master in ECC - like MRP Controller, ATP Group, Strategy Group or any config changes on APO side.
Please guide me with stepwise instructions.

Hi Satish ,
I am not an expert on GATP but logically what I can suggest following steps :
1.As you want ATP check to happen in APO for few codes, you will have to Select/Tick 'Material Independant Object' - ATP Customization in CIF IM , so that ATP customizing settings are transferred to APO from ECC.
2. But at the same time you need this ATP check to happen in ECC locally and not in APO for certain products, then in other CIF IM you have to select 'Material dependant objects '- ATP Check where you can set the filter/exclusion on those codes so that the ATP check does not take place in APO.
3. Also like as R/3's backorder processing, in order itself you can set as the ATP check to occur in R/3 and not in APO.

PFCG authorization objects vs SU53 checks

Hi all,
I was thinking I have understood for a long time authorization checks. But no.
So Here's my question.
When I ahd a transaction in PFCG menu, PFCG gets the authorization objects to maintain automatically (from SU24 checks). OK.
When testing the role in ECC : : error. SU53 qays that authorization objects are missing. How the tests are working regarding SU53 and PFCG ?
i.e tcode_de = MDBT in PFCG, PFCG gets M_MTDI_ORG object to maintain => OK
When testing my role, SU53 says that other objects is missing, i.e S_ADMI_FCD. I don't understand because this object is checked with 'NO' in ECC.

The auth checks performed are dependent on lots of things: system config, functional config, master data setup, use of the transaction.
The config in SU24 can't cater for all of those options so SAP gives us the ability to make them more accurate for our particular situations.

You can't deactivate a check on an S_ or P_ auth object. These auths are fundamental methods of protecting the SAP application (S_) and personal data (P_)
As David says, the SU53 only shows the last auth failure and there is often lots of spurious stuff reported that isn't required to allow the transaction to process. In this respect ST01 is more useful as it (usually) shows you all the auth checks being evaluated so you can more easily focus on the important ones.

Goods Movement Not allowed(XWAOK) check box - for SRM Reservations.

Dear Experts,
We are working on Extended Clasissc sceanrio however certain materails we are creating reservation switching from ECS to Classic Scenario. System is Creating Reservation successfully in backend but Goods movement reservation allowed (FIELD XWAOK) check box not checked only for SRM Reservations
Please note that ECC reservations checking this checkbox automatically based on Configuration. Is there any setting we have to do in SRM to pass the check box value to ECC? or How Can i check what data is passing from SRM to ECC......

Dear Ravi,
Could you please check if you have added the value '201' against the attribute movement type (forgot the attribute name) for the purchasing group or user group who created the shopping cart in SAP SRM. Once you have added the attribute, the problem should be resolved.

BP not getting replicated from CRM to ECC server

I am currently facing an issue, it seems like the replication of BP from CRM to ECC is not working, I have created a few business partners in CRM for which the BDOC got processed completely but when I go and check these on the ECC side, I am not able to find these BP. Can any one suggest what might be happening.

I have a few Business partners which we are not able to replicate from CRM to ECC, I have tried to debug the queue and find out what the reason might be, i could see that everything got processed successfully at the CRM side, the issue is when the BDOC reaches ECC, there it gives me a error that "NO UNIQUE JURISDICTION CODE CANNOT BE DETERMINED" area as "TAX_TXJCD".
If you can suggest anything new based on this information please let me know, in the mean time I will try the note that you had provided and would get back to you very soon.

Problem in CRM Complaint to ECC Return request creation

In CRM Complaint transaction I am getting the following error when I try to create a 'Return Request' in ECC system. I could not trace out the root cause of this problem. Please help me in this regard.
An error has occured in the system ERPCLNT100 while copying the document
Message no. CRM_ORDER_MISC 020
Diagnosis
Errors have occurred while transferring the document into another system. Refer to the enclosed log to view the error messages.
Transmission log
SALES_HEADER_IN has been processed successfully (Notification S V4 233)
The sales document is not yet complete: Edit data (Notification W V1 555)
With Zero VAT/CST Sales order can not be created (Notification E ZSD_MSG 000)
SALES_ITEM_IN has been processed successfully (Notification S V4 233)
I did all required configuration still the problem persist. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi,
After looking at the errors we can make out that the there is an implementation in ECC side for sales orders which is also considering the complaints order.
The message displayed is a custom message ZSD_MSG.
So check this implementation in ECC and ensure that the order has the tax conditions with amount.
Or exclude the process type of complaints from that implementation in ECC.

Installation of ECC 6.0 on Windows Vista

HI,
I am not able to install ECC 6.0 on windows vista OS even I tried to install windows server 2003 but it shown incomitablity error becuse of newer version of OS(windows Vista).Could you let me know how can i remove the vista and get win server 2003 installed at my system.If I run the set up file of windows server 2003 it gives error "setup cannot run in program compatibility mode".Please let me know what else i can do.

Hi Sanjay,
Few things you have to check before installation of ECC 6.0 on any OS :-
1. From where have you got the dump for ECC 6.0? Have you downloaded it from Service Marketplace. If Yes then you have to check whether your OS is also of the same configuration as the dump you are using like if you are using 32-bit then your OS also needs to be 32-bit only. As far as ECC 6.0 SR3 is concerned it can be installed on 64-bit machine only. For 32-bit machine you have to go for SR2.
2. Also the supported JDK for the ERP 6.0 is JDK 1.4.2_17 as per SAP Note 716604. Please uninstall the current JDK and install the required one. The 64 bit JDK as per the SAP Note 941595 is available on the new IDES server.
3.Although there is cheat code to install the SAP ERP6.0 in 32 bit mode as well. But in that case NO Java system will be installed. I will advise for 64 bit method with Java system. Only use 32 bit mode if 64 bit is not possible. Follow SAP Note 1244548.
4. The DB Size system will need around 190 -200 GB to install.
