Clearing default event handlings

I am trying to use JComponent(JList, JTable) with a different behavior on mouse events. JTable for example selects the cells while dragging. I want to remove all curent listeners, I found removelistener, but I dont find getlisteners (removelistener requires the removed listener ).

Using getListeners you can by
MouseMotionListener[] mls = (MouseMotionListener[])(ImTab.getListeners(MouseMotionListener.class));
for (int i=0;i<mls.length;i++) {
ImTab.removeMouseMotionListener(mls);
Then you write your own method .

Anyone know? The default event alarm (an alert with a noise) in iCal 3.0 doesn't do me the slightest bit of good if I'm not sitting at my computer, which I'm often not.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. I have scoured the internet looking for exactly the same answer! I've asked everyone at my office (all mac users) and no one knows (but I got several "Yeah, that's annoying - let me know when you figure it out). I, too, can't believe it's not a simple preference in iCal. Someone PLEASE answer this incredibly basic question because there are obviously more than a few of us hung up on this. Thanks!

Is it possible in iCal to set default event name per calendar, so that when I put in my work schedule each event is titled "work" without me having to type it in each time?

No (unless you use Automator), however, you could create an additional calendar, one that would represent your work schedule.
You could also use the (32 year old) Copy-Paste feature.
If you really have big schedule, you should consider making an automator workflow which would create events with a default name

Utility "Maintain default events" fails

Hi,
I try to run the utility "Maintain default events for entities" and it fails with an error log whit the following error
RME-00011: Operation 'ins' on EVENT has failed
Activity aborted with API errors.
I also dicovered that the utility is not aborting on the same point each time. And so when i run the utility several times sometimes it manage to complete successfull.

Change the default event duration from 1 hour to 1/2 hour

In iCal, the default event is supposed to last for 1 hour. I want to change the default to 30 minutes. I know I can make the change event by event (which is cumbersome). I cannot find any configuration page to set the default event duration. Is there one?
(This seeming reality has been bothering me for years; but I'm considering migrating from Entourage to iCal/Address Book/Mail and some of what I feel are inefficiencies in iCal are blocking me from doing so.)

Typically any such defaults are configured outside of Logic via a utility that came with your Audio Interface.
Example: if you have a Motu Audio interface you use the Motu Audio Setup Utility to set the default Stereo inputs and outputs... which are then used by Logic via Coreaudio.
Not knowing what Audio Interface you are using (or mixer..) I would suggest you read the documentation that came with it.. and see how to configure it to what you need.
Note: Some cheap and/or badly supported interfaces/mixers simply don't provide a utility to enable/change default settings... in which case you are stuck with what they set as the defaults themselves.

Query to clear raised events in CPS

Hi,
Is there a query to clear raised events in Redwood ?
Our CPS did not restart properly this WE and all the Event File Definition wich was started are now going in a pending status. The problem is that the raised ones are not visible in the monitoring (I cannot clear them !) and auto-submit jobs are not running anymore as new event file are pending !
How can I clear them (as they'aren't in the monitoring) ?
I solved my problem by creating a new file Event Definition for one of the job and it ran but I cannot do that (itu2019s not a solution) for all the jobs which were running correctly before.
We restart Redwood but event are still going in a pending status, I donu2019t see any operator message.
So, this problem is not similar with the one I opened a few days ago.
If someone can help, Iu2019ll really appreciate it.

Yes, I'm able to submit the Job Chains manually and I already Clear all Pending events. But no way, still going in pending status.
What I did to workaround my problem, I create new event definitions for those job chains but I don't want to correct the problem that way if this happens again; It's not a solution as I've too many jobs.

Let us take you developed a program then LOAD-OF-PROGRAM and INITIALIZATION these will be fired first when running the program, before the selection screen, if there is one, is fired.
If there is a selection screen, AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT event will be fired automatically before the screen is shown.
Also, if there is a selection screen, the START-OF-SELECTION event will only be fired when the user clicks the "Execute" button on the selection screen.
TOP-OF-PAGE will automically be fired when you use the first WRITE statement as well as anytime the line count is reached.

Default event somehow changed on projects...

I just noticed that the Default Event has been changed on many of my projects, and I don't know why. Well, at least it shows as as being changed when I select a project in the Project Library and look at the Properties in the Inspector.
As you can see in the image below, it says "Default Event: Lighting Test." But the Lighting Test event has nothing to do with the project (I think I created Lighting Test after I last worked on the Project). Why did the Default Event change like this on so many of my projects? Here's a screen shot of what I'm seeing:

You seem to know about iPhoto and I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I have encountered since updating to the newest version of Yosemite.
It has to do with Facebook posting. I have my personal page, and a photography page on FB. I can upload through iPhoto, no problem. problem occurs because it is just associated with my personal FB page. In the past, I could upload through FB across multiple pages on FB. Now when I open the upload photo, it opens my iPhoto library with every individual picture file listed. Before it had every even folder as I had named it, making it very easy to locate pictures by the folder name of the events in iPhoto.
I can't seem to get this old option of sorting through and selecting to come back. I have tried locating the files through Finder, but they are listed and categorized by year, month day, then number, NOT by the event title I gave the folders in iPhoto.
Can you help?

Does anyone see any familiar issues by just looking at this
default-event.log from the Jrun server? We are running CFMX6.1

You can review this

It tells you what is probably going on. However, a simpler method
(then the one Sean mentions) to fix the issue is to simply scope
your variables. Ideally all variables are initialized before they
are called or you use cfparam to initalize them. But you should
always scope the variables, even if they are in the variables scope
so CF does not go searching thru all the scopes (including CGI) as
Sean discusses. So the tops of your pages should be full of:
<cfparam name="variables.foo" type="string"> etc.
This is especially critical on pages that initialize many
variables as with fusebox and other frameworks. If you have dozens
of unscoped cfparam tags on a single page, that page goes
scrambling to find each variable in all the scopes normally
searched. The CGI scope is maintained by the webserver, so CF must
query it. Scope your variables including those in the variables
scope, whenever possible.

Lets pick up the example of Standard LRG in Pre 10.0.
As a use case we used "LRG" to route calls using Local gateway, preferebly.
For Example:
If administrator wish to create a route to a PSTN/CUCM B from particular site then he could simply have a Route list with Standard Local Route Group.
If the administrator has to add another emergency route to CUCM C/PSTN then using Standard Local Route Group would not help and he would have to make site specific Route list and Route patterns.
eg: 8.XXXX pattern would be used by device on site A to reach site E using RG_A_To_E
7.XXXX Pattern would be used by device on site B to reach site E using RG_B_To_E
With the Multiple LRG Enhancement in CUCM 10.0
On the Device Pool page, We can choose to associate the Emergency Route with a route group or leave it blank.
This will reduce the number of route list and route patters to be created.
EX.
Phone 3 calls Phone 5 via Route List “Route List to Site E”
When Phone 3 (DP_C) calls Phone 5 using route pattern 8.XXXX
Route list layer check that the first route group in the preference order is “Emergency Route Group (Local Route Group)”.
It then checks the route group associated with “Emergency Route Group” on Device Pool DP_C.
There is no Route group associated with “Emergency Route Group”.
Hence the Route list layer would check of for next member in the route list And try routing the call via “RG_General”.

Changing the Default Event Time Length?

Is there anyway to change the default event length from 1hr? Nearly everything I schedule is 30min long and it's a pain to always have to change that.

I don't think that it is possible, even using Terminal. If you want to change your workflow, "all day" events can easily be created in the Day/Week view, but as you stated the Month view poses a problem.
Calendar Help says:
To make:
An event that lasts all day:
In Day or Week view, double-click in the “All-day” section at the top of the calendar.
An existing event last all day:
In Day, Week, or Month view, double-click the event, click the date, then select “All-day.”
A multiday event:
In Week view, drag from the start time to the end time. You can drag across multiple days.In Day or Month view, create an event. Then, enter the start and end dates and times.
An all-day event into a multiday event:
In Week view, drag the all-day event across multiple days.

Clear default

Whenever I do certain things (look at pictures from my gallery, browse the web) my phone asks me to choose which action I want to take. For example if I want to look up a Web page it will ask if I want to use Chrome or Internet. Then you have to pick "just once" or "always". Whatever you pick it tells you to clear defaults. I do this but i still have to do the same thing over again. How do i fix that so it stops asking me what i want to do?

I think you go into Settings ! Application Manager, then scroll to the right till you see the application you want to use as default, and select it by pressing on it, then choose Clear Defaults or something like that. Then reboot your device and try it.
Alternatively, if it's asking you to choose from among a few programs, in Settings ! Application manager, find the program you DON'T want to use and uninstall it by selecting it, and choosing Force Stop, Clear Cache (and Data), and Uninstall.
If you wanted to keep it around (I don't know why you'd want to do that), you could select Disable instead.

I'm installing my own Event queue using
Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getSystemEventQueue().push(
new MyEventQueue());
How can I restore the default event queue after i'm done monitoring?
[not sure Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getSystemEventQueue().push(new EventQueue()) will work]

yes this can be done. Once I install my custom queue is this used for all event processing until I pop it off?
Also when is a new event queue created (nextQueue).
I've notices that if an awtevent takes a long time it is executed in chunks. Is this the case? Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Auto clear default text

I have searched all over to see how this is done. I found one other response to this question, but it was not complete.
Basically what I am wondering is, how do I set up my text field so that there is a default text to signify what the user should type into the box. When the user clicks the text field, this default is removed so they can begin typing.
