Client Proxy - asynchronous

HI Guys,
While doing ABAP report as a client proxy.
CALL METHOD PRXY->EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS
EXPORTING
OUTPUT = FS_EMPLOYEE_MT.
COMMIT WORK
I am getting following error message. I have done XI data structures and activated in SPROXY in ECC. Please reply back ...AM i need to activate any more things on this error.

so i have done like this ...
    create object prxy.

   CALL METHOD prxy->MI_WB_PRXY_SEND            ( instead of asynchronous???????????)
     exporting
        output = xi_data
   catch cx_ai_system_fault.
endtry.
Data is coming while debugging also.and executed. While checking in SXMB_MONI, no messages found in either ECC & XI . So May i know what could be the reason fore that.Thanks ....

Hi,
you never write code in client proxies in the generated method
you can only do it for server proxies
if you want to use the client proxy you need to call it from your own
report (or function module)

ABAP Client Proxy to SOAP

Hi all,
I am working on ABAP client proxy to SOAP Asynchronous scenario. when iam sending the data from r/3 system data sent to webservice.
but PI sending this same data 3 more to the third parth system. when i checked in runtime workbench it is showing number of retrys 3
how to resolve this issue. please explain in detail

Anil,
That's the default setting for Async SOAP communication...this can occur if the receiver is overloaded and cannot take any more feed and sometimes time out in the middle of the hand off...this would lead to re-try in PI...so you would see 3 entries of same data...refresh or clear the data from the receiver could solve the issue...

Problem in ABAP Client Proxy

Hai All,
I am working on ABAP Client Proxy to RFC.
Here i generated the proxies and wen i execute it i am able to see in sxmb_moni but its showing in Green color which is still in process.but i was unable to find the the receiver business system and receiver interface.
I hope some HTTP connection problem.
Can anyone explain me in detail how to create the http connection as i confused here.
Lets say XI(sender) to R3(Receievr)
where proxy is been created in XI system itself and also generated in XI system only.
Can anyone suggets me here as this interface is totally asynchronous.

ABAP Client Proxy does'nt work

I have an asynchronous outbound ABAP proxy.
The scenario is as follows
CRM/Proxy -> XI -> File
The client proxy is generated in CRM and I try to call the proxy from the following report.
REPORT Z_TEST_ABAP_PROXY_NOVA                  .
DATA prxy TYPE REF TO ZPROXYNOVACO_MI_PROXY_OUT_ASYN.
CREATE OBJECT prxy.
DATA it TYPE ZPROXYNOVAMT_REQUEST_NOVA.
TRY.
    it-MT_REQUEST_NOVA-STATUS = '3'.
    it-MT_REQUEST_NOVA-INVOICE = 'ABC123'.
    CALL METHOD prxy->execute_asynchronous
      EXPORTING
        output = it.
     commit work.

I've registreed my queues and maintained the HTTP connection as described in

I've tested the connection in SPROXY and it works fine.
I get NO error when I call the proxy but nothing arrives to XI! Sxmb_moni is empty!
I've tried to stop the queues in smqr in CRM but the message doesn't show up there either.
I've tried to activate the trace in sicf, but no result.
The thing is that I succeded to create a scenario with an inbound interface (server proxy) and it worked fine.
I really don't know where to look? Havn't I done everything?
What's wrong?
Can somebody help me?

I got a red flag with the following error:
<SAP:Code p1="401" p2="Unauthorized" p3="" p4="">HTTP.HTTP_STATUS_CODE_NEQ_OK</SAP:Code>
<SAP:Text language="EN">HTTP status code 401 : Unauthorized</SAP:Text>
Where do I need to assign the right authorization?
Regarding the HTTP destination I've got the right path and the role of the system is application system.
By the way I think there is a misspelling in vijaya:s weblog. Maybee it doesn't matter but there is a extra slash in his path prefix.

Not getting response from Client Proxy

Hi,
We are developing a scenario - File->PI->Proxy using ABAP Proxies.We are posting a file thru PI 7.0 to R/3 .In R/3 the server proxy(Inbound Asynchronous) will receive the message and BAPI will be called. The response from the BAPI will be reaching the server proxy and passed to the client proxy(Outbound Asynchronous).
Server Proxy(request) --> BAPI --> Server Proxy(response) --> Client Proxy(response)
The response from the client proxy has to be send to PI and a file will be generated as the output.
Can anyone provide me suggestions to call client proxy from a server proxy by passing the response message to client proxy???

Hi,
I hope, you are done till the Implementation of Server Proxy, where you are calling a Bapi and passing the Input variables the Interface received and BAPI is giving a response back.
Now your question, how to send the response back Asynchronously.
I think, you have to do the same, what you do for a client proxy and at last call the method EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS before the Final Commit Staement. I think this should work.
But using Synchronous Interface in such cases is always a handy and easier option.

of data on JDBC side, the response(Success/Failure) flag has to be

Retrieving the Message Header In Asyn Scenario With Sender As Client Proxy

Hi All,
I have a asynchronous scenario (XI to SOAP),where on the sender side Client Proxy is being triggered by an ABAP Report.
My problem is,that as the Proxy is in Sender Side I am not able to get the Message Header (i.e. the Standard Header Structure for Proxy Scenarios which I need to send as an input for creating Alerts).
This message header is automatically populated when I fill it up via message mapping in case of Server Proxy...But for Client Proxy(Async Case)...I am not able to make out......
The Structure Is:
SYSTEM_OF_ORIGIN
SENDER_INTERFACE
SENDER_NAMESPACE
MESSAGE_ID
SENDER_SERVICE
RECEIVER_INTERFACE
RECEIVER_NAMESPACE
RECEIVER_SERVICE
PROCESS_AREA
How can this message header be automatically retrived in the ABAP Code ????

Proxy to Proxy Asynchronous

Hi Friends,
I have a scenario....like...ECC to ECC using Asynchronous Proxies......
The scenario is......... When a user executes a report program in ECC1,he will get a selection screen to enter company code range and clicks on execute button..Then ECC1 sends this company codes to ECC2. And when the ECC2 system receives this company codes, it reads data from a Z table based this company codes ...And here ECC2 needs to send this data to ECC!
1.ECC1 System will send list of company code asynchronously to ECC2. (Client Proxy on ECC1)
2.ECC2 System receives this data(Server Proxy on ECC2) and queries a ZTable based on this company code... The selected data related to these comapny codes need to be sent back to ECC1(Client Proxy on ECC2).
3.ECC1 System receives this data and inserts in a ZTable(Server Proxy on ECC1).
The Problem is.....ON ECC2 in server proxy Execute_Asynchronous implementation.... i am calling the Execute_Asynchronous of Clent Proxy, so that it can send data to ECC1...
But i am getting an Error --- The exception CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT is neither caught nor is it declared in the RAISING clause of "EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS"..... Here the EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS refers to Server Proxy Method...

As per my knowledge I will give you small suggestion. If it should be 25 tables then,
Create a Common data type which contains fields like,
<Source>
    <Table_Name>
   <Field1>
   <Field2>
Create a report which fills the filed for each table.
Create a file Structure which contains table name.
Using the variable Substitution create a file name. Processing parameter use Add Time Stamp.

So this time you need only one interface and one scenario.
As the same
Do the reverse flow also.
In sender file adapter processing mode select archive. Give the archive directory name.
Select Processing Sequence by date. So file will poll according to date and time.

Async ABAP Client Proxy Queuing

Hi all,
We've successfully set up an asynchronous ABAP client proxy on a WAS 6.20 instance to connect to our XI 3.0 box. Our concern is if XI is down the messages won't get queued up for delivery. As I understand it, failed messages won't get queued up for delivery if a delivery error occurs. Is this correct? If queuing is not possible with a standard WAS 6.20 installation, what options do we have to make queuing possible?

I believe queuing should be supported on a WAS 6.20 system so long as you have installed APPINT 200_620 (XI 2.0 add-on), SL 6. You need level 6 in order to communicate with XI 3.0 (or at least that's how I understand it). This above mentioned add-on is a basically the ABAP side of a 2.0 integration server. In our scenario we set the role of the business with the 2.0 add-on as an application server.

Thanks for ur response, I was able to figure out the error...It was the port in exchange profile...it was mentioned as 50000, which I had to change to 8000.
Now once I execute the proxy in Proxy --> test interface I am getting this success message

Error in creation of client proxy.

I try to consume a webservice in SAP ABAP. When i create the service consumer proxy it is giving an error message llike
"Incorrect value: Unknown QName http://wholesale...........................sendeWholesaleMeldungRequest"
Have anyone come across this error scenario.

--->While creating client Proxy object to consume the webservice a pop will raise with 4 radio buttons options,i think you had selected any one of that depending upon your requirement,rite,If not do that and try.
-->If you have the WSDL file in your local system select the Radio Button WSDL and import it into your Client Proxy.

I am doing proxy to web service scenario. My proxy is client proxy. After I created proxy, I checked that. There is no standard method 'EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONUS'. I read the Michal's blog /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2009/06/20/pixi-abap-proxies-say-goodbye-to-executeasynchronous-method and understand that this method is not created. The reason is that SAP_BASIS support package level is 15. (Release 700) in our R/3 ECC 6.0 system.
Now, I am not able to test my proxy from SPROXY tcode. It asks Logical Port.
1. Can you tell me, what is logical port ? How do I create this in LPCONFIG tcode ?
2. Once this is done, can I call the class with the method like in older version ?
3. Currently I am getting the information 'No vendor specified' while test proxy withe empty logical port.

Hi Rene,
If a logical port is not configured, the X/PI Runtime will be used instead.
In Jegathees' case, this is probably what happened. If you want to route your message through PI then you need to make sure that you are pointing to your Integration Server (i.e. PI), on ECC use transaction code SXMB_ADM --> Integration Engine Configuration. Role of Business System should be "Application System" and "Corresp. Integration Server" should be your PI server.
You will see when you test your client proxy (using TCode SPROXY) you have the option of choosing XI Runtime - or - Logical port too.

Error at creating Client Proxy of external webservice (WSDL)

Hi Experts,
I try to create a Client Proxy Object out of an external webservice. Here is the WSDL URL:

I try to create it with this URL and then I get the error message
Not implemented
Exception of class CX_SIDL_INTERNAL_ERROR
I found two other threads with a similar problem:

But there is no solution that worked for me. In the first thread it is mentioned, that the code between
<wsdl:binding name="XXXXHttpGet" type="tns:XXXHttpGet">
and it's closing brackets should be removed in a local file. I tried that and was able to create a client proxy object out of this local wsdl-file. But then I called the webservice with the folling coding for testing:
report z_currency_converter.
data: convert type ref to zzzco_currency_convertor_soap.
try.
    create object convert
exporting
    logical_port_name = 'Z_LP'
catch cx_ai_system_fault .
endtry.
   data: output type zzzconversion_rate_soap_out .

The same code worked fine in another system. In this "older" system could also create a client proxy, I think because it has a newer Support Pack version.
SAP says the following:
The problem is that this WSDL uses two bindings different from SOAP
binding which is not in conformance with Basic Profile 1.1 -
http://www.ws-i.org/Profiles/BasicProfile-1.1.html#WSDLBINDINGS .
I looked in the document, but I do not know where the problem in the WSDL file exactly is. What have I to change? Or can somebody give me the URL of a free webservice, that you used for creating a client proxy with a new support pack standing? In the "old" system there is not yet the SOAMANAGER but in the one where it doesn't work.

Error while creating a client proxy for CBR.RU

I need to consume web service. Here is the link: http://www.cbr.ru/DailyInfoWebServ/DailyInfo.asmx?WSDL
I tried to make an own client proxy with SE80 transaction. (edit object->enterprise services -> client proxy -> create) After completing wizard an error occurs with text:
Incorrect value: Unknown Namespace http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema
The same schema works perfecrly with this web service:
http://www.deeptraining.com/webservices/wsStrings.asmx?WSDL
In this case proxy class is created with no errors and everything is fine.
Could anybody let me know what's the reason of such bug, please? I'm not competent with XML schemas so it's kind of difficult to understand what's wrong with WSDL file from CBR.RU

Late response I know, but I have solved a similar problem recently and thought I would share.
Firstly, the problem is not with the namespace. The "Namespace ..." part is just stating the namespace the "Incorrect Value" has. So this error is complaining about the value "Unknown" - which isn't very helpful.
It appears the SAP SE80 importer does not like elements like the following because it can't understand <s:element ref="s:schema" />. It appears this is a common thing to be included in .NET generated WSDLs.

You can "Fix" the problem in both cases by removing the offending text in a local copy of the WSDL file so remove line 4 in the first example and change line 2 in the second to <s:complexType> the proxy can then be generated. No idea if the resulting service will be fully operational though!
