Client-Server receive/send with TCP (high data rates)

hello ,
i want to test client -server one way throughput with TCP , any one can give me more hint about it ??

To reduce data usage, you should put iPad on Aeroplane Mode to stop all background activities when not using iPad.

  • Mail receives OK but will not send for smtp account.  Exchange server receives/sends OK

mail receives OK but will not send for smtp account.  Exchange server receives/sends OK  I'm away from home, using a family-member's wireless network that has always worked OK in the past.  Today, the same problem occured while waiting in a hospital waiting lounge.  Any ideas?

The outgoing mail server may be rejecting mail from your network address. Typically that happens when your mail service provider is also your ISP, and you connect to it from another network. The SMTP server will allow connections without a password from anywhere, but it will only relay mail from within the ISP's network. It could also be that your account on the server has expired or been suspended.
If you need to send mail from outside your ISP's network, use an independent mail service provider. I don't have a specific recommendation.

  • Is it possible to detect low frequency signals with a high sampling rate?

    Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue detecting low frequency signals with a high sampling rate.  Shouldn't I be able to detect the frequencies as long as the sampling rate is at least 2 times the highest frequency I will measure?  The frequency range I am measuring is 5-25 Hz, and I use Extract Single Tone.vi to measure the frequency.  The sampling setting I am using is 2 samples at 10 kHz.  Is there a method I can use to make this work?
    Attached is the vi.

You are sampling at 10Ks/S, but only taking two samples. What do you expect to see? If your signals are binary (On or Off) you would only see either an on or an off, or if the rise/fall time was fast and you were Extremely lucky, one of each. If you want to see a waveform you have to sample for at least the period of a waveform. So you should take samples for at least 0.2 seconds to capture an entire waveform at 5Hz, ideally longer.   Think of looking at a tide change at a dock. If you want to see the entire tide change you will probably have to measure repeatedly over 24 hours, not just run out on the dock, measure the height twice and leave. That wouldn't tell you anything other than at that precise moment the tide height was X, but not that it was at high tide, low tide, in between, etc.
I type too slowly, I see that a more technical answer has been given, so mine will be the philosophical one!

  • Why do I receive messages with only a date, no subject, no from, no body, etc.?

at varying times I receive messages with a blank subject, no entry in [from, to] no body, but a date in 1969.
Any ideas why I receive these?

    Thank you for your help.
I tried emptying the inbox, deleting the 2 files, and restarting TB.
I did the same for Sent and Trash.
I also deleted all .msf files for all inbox sub-folders and for all folders and sub-folders under "My Mail".
    the problem persists.
My inbox has many sub-folders and sub-sub-folders should those be moved to My Mail?
Another problem I am having. I do not know if it is related.
I have a stack of filters that move incoming mail into folders. The stack ends with 2 filters.
    (1) a filter that checks whether FROM is from someone in my mail lists. It then moves the message into a folder called "Known Sender".
    (2) a psuedo-ELSE filter that check whether the subject contains a very improbable string. It put the message in a folder called ") Suspicious".
Sometimes I still end up with folders in Inbox that clearly should be in the two folders, "Known Sender" or ") Suspicious".

  • I have a client who was working with Now to Date, which is now obsolete.  She is looking for a mac calendar program that is as close to Now to Date as possible.  She has installed Outlook 2012 but finds that is takes too much time to enter data.  Help?

I have a client who has been using Now to Date on her Mac.  That program is now obscure and she is looking for software that is extremely similar.  She has tried Outlook for Mac and it is too labor-intensive for her.  She wants a professional look, and something that is not linked to e-mail as she works with a lot of proprietary information.  Help?

I could not identify that app in macupdate.com. If a Calendar program, what about iCal? did she try it and disliked? If you go to macupdate.com, and type ‘calendar’ in seach filed, you will be given a lot of apps, you or she should test what it most appropriate for your/her needs.

  • I'm having trouble with occasional high data consumption.  In November, I was told by Verizon I'd used 2 times my normal data.  Then again on Friday, Verizon told us we'd used approximatley 3 Giga Bytes on our Hot Spot.  Both of us had been working that d

We're having problems with occasional mega data usage on our 3G Hot Spot.

Power down your Jetpack while it is not in use, at least until you get your usage problem under control.  Bring your PC to a different area and see if you can let it sit connected for a while to complete whatever it is struggling with.

  • How do I get a high data rate throughput from FPGA module to my PC running Labview app

    Hi,
I am using a 7811R (Ni FPGA board) and a MXI-4 card in a PXI-1031DC chassis. I am trying to measure the maximum rate I can send data from the MXI-4 card to my PC and up into a labview windows application. The PC also has a MXI-4 card which is on the PCI bus. My PC is a 3.2 GHz with 2 gigs of ram. When I run the experiment to dump data to my labview application, I get a maximum speed of 728KB/s. I think this is too low. Has anyone been able to get a higher through put and if so how did you do it?

The source code is available and it doesn't have any real
    dependencies on Flex

  • Server Crashes during GC/very high request rate?

We have lately seen our production server crash with the same error code (47433441534B3448524541440E435050002F). We are not sure exactly what this error means excepting that we see a high load on the server (~ 30 Http requests). I don't think this is a huge number at all. Has anyone seen this before? any help is appreciated.

  • Performance: How to manage large reports with high data volume

    Hi everybody,
we actually make some tests on our BO server system, to define limitations and oppertunities. Among other things we constructed a large report with a high data volume (about 250.000 data records).
When executing the query in SAP Query Designer it takes about 10 minutes to display it. In Crystal Reports we rebult the row and column structure of the query. The data retrieval in Crystal Reports Designer last about 9 minutes - even faster as in the query.
Unfortunately in BO InfoView the report is not displayed. After 30 minutes of loading time we get a timeout error RCIRAS0244.
    com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.managedreports.ras.internal.ManagedRASException:
    Cannot open report document. ---
The request timed out because there has been no reply from the server for 600.000 milliseconds.
Also a refresh of an report with saved data is not possible.
Now we are asking us some questions:
    1. Where can we set the timeout for InfoView to a value larger than 30 minutes?
    2. Why is InfoView so slow compared to Crystal Designer? Where is the bottleneck?
    3. Whats the impact of SAP single sign-on compared to Enterprise logon on the performance?
Thanks for any helps and comments!
    Sebastian

    Hi Ingo,
    thank you for your reply.
I will check the servers and maybe change the time limits.
Unfortunately we have a quite slow server system that probably cause this timeout. In CR Designer we have no problems, its really quick. Is it to expect that CR Designer and InfoView have almost the same performance?
Another nice point: When we execute the query in SAP BEx Query Designer it takes about 10 minutes to open it, in Crystal Designer it needs just about 5-6 minutes. We integrated exactly the same fields in the report, which exist in die SAP BEx query.
    What may cause the difference?
    - Exceptions and conditions in the query?
    - Free characteristics in the query?
    - anything else?
    Best regards,
    Sebastian

  • Should i use secure sockets for my whole client/server application?

    Hi,
I have a client server application, and I want to ensure that the login process is secure (i.e. use secure sockets). but I dont know how to switch back to a normal socket once that is done.
So I am left thinking that i should just use SSL for my whole application, which can last pretty long. But I would rather not. Is there any other way of doing this?
or should I just encrypt the login info using MD5 or something like that, then send it over an unsecure socket?
    thanks!

    Hey,
Are you sure you haven't confused JGSS for JSSE?
Imagine you have a client-server system and you sometimes want data sent over the wire to be encrypted... JGSS offers you this flexibility; if you a encrypted transmission, run ift through JGSS before transmitting it; if you don't want an encrypted transmission, bypass JGSS and just send the transmission.
The benefit is the security (encryption) isn't hard-wired into you communications protocol i.e. TLS. JGSS has nothing to do with connections it is just protocol for securing messages, not sending them.
You would need to establish the secure context but this could be done at startup and persist for the duration of you applicaiton invocation. You perhaps might need to implement a mechanism to identify encrypted messages on the receiving peer (so it knows to attempt decryption).
Admittedly, kerberos seems like one of those 'inside-joke' things. I've come to realise if you don't have some sort of kerberos realm/server against which to authenticate - you need to swap it out as the underlying mechanism. How this is done I'm not sure yet, but I intend to find out today....further down the rabbit hole I go!
If I discover anything helpful, I will let you know.
    Warm regards,
    D

  • I'm taking my cell phone out of the country.  I do not plan to make or receive calls with it, and I will disable the roaming feature.  But, I am wondering if I can use the GPS or access a website with it without costing lots more??

    See above

I disabled roaming on my wireless pc card and VZW Access Manager showed the network as Verizon and after 10 minutes use got a phone text msg and a email saying my international roaming charges are exceeding $50.00, and I have never had the card or laptop across the border. Calling customer service got transferred to tech support and the tech wanted to add a global plan for $25 then she said she would cancel it at the end of the billing cycle and would credit my account the remaining balance owed, how stupid do they think we are, she wouldn't transfer me back to the customer service rep or to a 2nd tier tech, just trying to weasel me into something I told her I wouldn't agree to even if it was in writing and I know how Verizon works with verbal explanations of plans, been taken that way too. I've told the reps many times that the next time a Verizon employee tries to pull a fast one they will lose a customer that has never been with another provider. It appears that Verizon's towers near the border recognize users that aren't regular users in that area and try to charge ridiculously high data rates, $50.00 for 10 minutes, then the tech tries to get you to agree to something that will get them a commission, why else would they delay crediting you the amount, which most likely is not going to actually happen anyway, and it's not in writing so not able to prove it. Well Verizon isn't getting 1 cent of that charge and depending on how they handle this they may lose a customer and have to send some poor unsuspecting employee to respond to the small claims court or just plain default. One more call to customer service is it, sorry, done playing their game by their rules.

  • Who can tell me  flash media Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 (p2p) with flash access

flash access support flash media Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 (p2p) ?

    Hi,
Flash Access will work delivered via FMS over RTMP.
Flash Access should work over an RTMFP client-server connection -- by default it's exactly the same as RTMP as far as functionality, unless you're in "live unbuffered" mode, which you probably wouldn't be for a client-server streaming scenario with Flash Access protection.
However, if you mean "P2P multicast", then that is not a supported scenario.
    cheers,
    /Eric.

  • Bridge Point to Point with AP 1552EU - Maximun Data Rate

Hi all, I have a question for you, and I need your help.!!!
I have two site (Central and Remote) and I did a link point to point between it. These AP are managed by a WLC 5508, the distance between this AP is 30 Mts or 98 feed, I have configured the channel width in 40Mhz in the WLC, and MCS-5 in the data rate sección of Bridge AP.  I did tests flooding the link and I only can transfer 40Mbps in both directions at the same time. This ap model is 802.11n capable. So how can I increase the data rate from 40Mbps to 100 o more Mbps.?
The antennas are directional with two ports (TX/RX) and are connected in the ports 1 and 3 of AP.
    I hope your response.
    Thanks,

Wow.  You're radios are only 100 feet apart and you have 14dBi directional panels hooked up to them?  Hopefully the TX power is configured properly and is turned *way* down.
You should certainly be able to get 802.11n HT rates between two 1550s with these antennas and 2 spatial streams.  You *should* be able to achieve HT MCS 15 at 40MHz with a PHY data rate of 300 Mbps.  Actual Layer 3 throughput would be approaching 100Mbps, but I think you are more likely to see ~80Mbps in actuality.
    Best of luck!
