Server Crashes during GC/very high request rate?

We have lately seen our production server crash with the same error code (47433441534B3448524541440E435050002F). We are not sure exactly what this error means excepting that we see a high load on the server (~ 30 Http requests). I don't think this is a huge number at all. Has anyone seen this before? any help is appreciated.

  • Server crash during access addressbook

    Hello,
the server crashed during an access to address book from from an iPhone or an iPad.
Can anyone help me please with diesem problem?`
    Joerg

Dies ist wahrscheinlich ein anderes problem.
Address book sees widespread use, so crashes are unlikely.
This is probably a disk error, or a memory error, processor error, or a data corruption in an existing system data file or program file, quite possibly related to networking or address book.
Run the hardware diagnostics. I might well try a reinstallation.
If this is a new system and still under original or AppleCare warranty, contact Apple support.

  • Where is memory.dmp if server crash during upgrade?

I am updating a server from 2008r2 to 2012, but server keeps crash during upgrade.
I am trying to dig into memory dump and core dump. It usually locate at \windows\memory.dmp if server crash.
Where does the file locate during upgrade?

    Hi,
Based on my experience, the memory dump file will be created by the operating system in its own folder in the MEMORY.DMP
file by default. Windows keeps a list of all the small memory dump files in the %SystemRoot%\Minidump folder if you have choose the “small memory dump” option in the Startup and Recovery page. Of course, you can change the folder location for the memory dump
    files.
If you can access to the page of
Startup and Recovery, you can view the location of the memory dump file.

  • My iPod Nano 6th Gen, Crashes whilst performing "Convert Higher Bit Rate to 128 AAC" in iTunes.

    Hi Guys,
    I have a 6 week old iPod Nano 16Gb.
I have about 2500 songs, which would be coming up to 18Gb, so instead of selecting which albums I want, I've taken the lazy approach and ticked the "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 AAC".
As you all know, it does the coversion on the fly, roughly about 8 sec on average per song. Being a slow Core Duo T2500, it takes its time and I have to leave it over night whilst it does it.
Come back in the morning and the watch had the 'White Screen of Death', displaying on the screen like the Apple IIe days of "OK to disconnect"
Then it goes blank and then it says iTunes (picture of a plug), under that, connect to restore.
Plug it into iTunes and it does a full restore with nothing in it.
I hope I explained it ok.
Im kinda think its not the Nano, as I've filled it up with music and photos to its capacity and works fine.
Would it be something to do with "Enable disk use", to stop it from connecting and disconnecting after syncing?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks Guys.

I have the same problem and can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I rebuilt my iTunes library and still my 6G nano crahes whenever I load an AAC tune onto it.  MP3s and podcasts all work fine, it's just the AACs...
Just *loading* an AAC song will cause the Nano 6G to reboot as soon as it disconnects from Itunes. It will then reboot a few times and then go into recovery mode. :-(

  • Exchange 2007 Database mount error after server crash during defrag.

Most likely but I have copies of the orignal and the temp still.
Is there a way these can be used?? I was hoping not for a MS Support answer... =/

    Help!
Half way through copying the temporary database edb file my exchange server crashed.
I now get the following errors when trying to mount the database.
    Error:
    Exchange
is unable to mount the database that you specified. Specified database:
Mail Store; Error code: MapiExcetionJetErrorPageNotInitiated: Unable to
    mount database. (hr-0x80004005, ec=-1019)
    I still have the temp
database file from the finished defrag and a copy of the original
database from before it was done. But need some urgent help to get my
    system back before tommorow!
I do not have circular logging enabled.

  • Server crashing during fetch

    Tux 7.1 vs. Oracle 8.1.5.
I've got a parameterized query that sometimes returns records, others
    doesn't.
For the first 3 queries it runs fine, returning no rows.
The 4th query successfully returns 5 rows.
The 5th query, which should return no rows, it successfully sets the
    parameters and opens,
but it hangs during the fetch for 30 secs or so, then the server cores with
    no other error message given.
I've tried setting the debug flag in the XA_OPEN string higher to give me
more information on the oracle side, but I'm getting nothing, and I've tried
going from using a straight parameterized query that is prepared once while
just changing the parameters in the OPEN..USING clause, to using a static
char buffer to format the query in a separate function and sprintf ing the
query each time, makes no difference.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your reply John.
My Premiere Pro is CS5.5 on Windows OS with all the recent updates installed.
My source footage is H.264 in a .mov/QuickTime format.
There were no error message(s) before the crashing. The computer just crashes after a few minutes of exporting. My output codec is also H.264 in a QuickTime movie format.
No other software is running at the time. Also, no third party codecs have been installed.
I'm not sure what type of engine I use. Kindly direct me to where I can find this information.
The problem has only happened with my final output.
    Thanks Again.

  • Server crashes during Networker Incremental/Full back-ups

I could not find anything under the syslogs to point to what caused my server to core dump. We do late night incremental backups and each morning I come in, my server is hung. I see a list of core dump messages for each process, i.e. inetd, automountd. When I do a STOP + a, I get the OK prompt, type boot.....every thing boots up again but sometimes I get the "FIFO exists" and file systems in / or /usr or /var are read-only.
How can i best find the reason and solution to this mystery problem? Thanks

    Hi
Please check up the syslog.conf for the log path. When your system hung and when you are doing a stop + a in Ok prompt type sync,it will create a core dump and reboots. What tool you are using to do the backup.if you are using the ufsdump check out the log messages which will give you where you have a problem. With ufsdump you cannot take a online backup of your filesystem. If you need a online backup then you have to take a filesystem snapshot and mount the snapshot and take a backup of the snapshot.

  • ALTER SEQUENCE on a busy server results in unexpected very high values

Our sequence was at 782,393,232 or so, when I bumped it up by 30,000. Here's the commands I used:
    alter sequence OUR_SEQ increment by 30000;
    select OUR_SEQ.nextval from dual;
    alter sequence OUR_SEQ increment by 1;
    commit;
When I queried the sequence's nextval a few minutes later, it had jumped to over 8 billion !?! I quickly reset down to 783 million or so, and it behaved propertly after that. I've seen a couple of posts on the net that infer that resetting a sequence while it is being heavily used can cause "unpredictable results". Has anyone else experienced this or is there a known bug ?

    Sven,
I'm not sure that I understand what you're clarifying...
In a RAC cluster, a sequence with a cache has a separate cache in each node of the cluster. If the cache was set to 20 (the default), and the increment was set to 30,000, each node would cache 20 values each separated by 30,000. And the caches would be non-overlapping (i.e. node A would get the 20 values from 1 - 570,001, node B would get the 20 values from 600,001 - 1,170,001). I don't see that this is at odds with what I posted.
Obviously, the presence of a cache creates a bit of a wrinkle with when, exactly, you say that a sequence is incremented. The NEXT_VALUE in DBA_SEQUENCES is incremented by cache*interval when any node exhausts its cache. The NEXTVAL of a sequence for connections that are hitting a particular node will increase by interval each time some other session gets the NEXTVAL of a sequence. The NEXTVAL of a sequence for connections on a different node is unaffected by what is happening on the current node. Is that the clarification you're making? If so, I agree.
    user11300030,
The discussion on sequence caching may provide some insight into why none of the rows are between 780 million and 1 billion. It's entirely possible that those values were cached on a node other than the node where the inserts were run. Had the caches not been flushed when you altered the sequence, inserts run on those other nodes might have used the values from that range.
JustinWe do have two nodes and the sequence cache size was 100, so what you suggested in your last paragraph makes sense.
Also, I just ran an AWR report and noted that "select our_seq.nextval from dual" was called 280K times (Hibernate is a hungry beast).

  • Oracle Fulfillment Server crashing

    Hello Friends,
I have EBS-12 installed on a Windows machine(Win2003 EE). Few days back the setup was working fine. Now when i fire the EBS URL the Oracle Fulfillment Server is crashing. Even if i start it from the services, it crashes for the very first request.
Any idea why this behaviors? Your thougths and commes are welcomed.
    Thanks in advance.

Check the event viewer and post the error here (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer).

  • Datasocket 4.0 server crashes when launched on win95

    HELP!
When launched from the "start" menu, the datasocket
    server crashes:
"cwdss has performed an illegal operation ...
    ... contact program vendor"
"cwdss caused an invalid page fault at xxx:xxxxx"
Labview itself runs OK, upgrading from 6.0 to 6.0.2
    did not help.
    I've disabled virus protection.
I've tried the upgrade dated 10/31/2001 referred to
    in a knowledge-base article
    Thanks!
    --- PC Info ---
    Windows 95B
    Pentium 120MHz, 48MB ram

    Hi,
The problem could be that you don't have the TCP/IP protocol installed on your PC. Add the TCP/IP protocol by going into the network properties, click Add select protocol, click Add select Microsoft - TCP/IP protocol, Then click OK and probably reboot your PC. More information is in Knowledgebase 217AHFK3 "Datasocket server crashes during launch".
    Good luck.

  • System crash during data archiving

    Gurus:
We have a serious concern that is if our R3 server crash during our data archiving runs:
    1) if crash happens at write phase, can we simply remove  the generated archive , restart the write  job?
We are NOT sure if  the second run will archive those records that were archived in the failed first run.
    2) if crash happens at delete phase, a simple restart of the same delete job will be enough? (We use "store before delete").
Because this archiving is too important to us, please help.
    Thanks a lot!

    Christoph:
    Thank you for your reply.
This crash has not happened yet.
We are making a plan about how to cope with this possibility.
But we do not have experience with any crash during archiving process.
Therefore we ask  for people's experience about following scenarios:
    1) if crash happens at write phase, can we simply remove the generated archive , restart the write job?
We are NOT sure if the second run will archive those records that were archived in the failed first run.
    2) if crash happens at delete phase, a simple restart of the same delete job will be enough? (We use "store before delete").
    Would you please help?
    Thank you again.

  • Error on server - printing stopped - Very First request to print any report

    vs2010 sp2
    CR13 sp1
CR12 developed reports requested in app with no mods
I'm getting there but I can't get the very first print request honored regardless of
size to print on the very first request but will print when re-requested.
A very large detailed report (+300 pages) errors as well.  The running time is
over 1 hour from rendering to print.  The printing starts to spool but errors.
I've caching, sessions to keep the large report alive.
I have also increased timeout on the server.
    Thanks,
    Isaac

    Is is a website/web app
I found the following which makes sense in relation to initial prints etc.
Can you or someone tell me where to make this change in II6
which we are using on the sql server 2000 box (initially I was was told it was 2003)
ActiveX printing fails in the .NET web form viewer when IIS GZip Compression is in use. As a result, the following error message appears:
"A Communication Error Occurred. Printing will be stopped".
    Cause
This is a known issue with Crystal Reports .NET. This issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00459349. At time of writing, there are no file updates to resolve this issue.
    Resolution
To work around this issue, do one of the two suggestions offered below:
Disable compression for the following mime types:
    application/x-eor (end of report)
    application/x-ack (acknowledgement of printing finishing)
    application/x-epf (encapsulated page format)
    -OR-
Use HTTPZip instead of GZip for compression.
    Thanks,
    Isaac

What format are they? Tiif? Jpeg? You can compress them with a lot of apps - including Preivew and just about any graphics editor out there. I'm not sure that 45mb would crash iPhoto thogh, are yo sure that's the cause? I know that some folks have mentioned pixel dimensions causing issues, as can color profiles.

The only suggestions I have off the top of my head are:
    * Ensure (1) the host system has at least 2GB (file store size) of free physical memory in addition to the memory used by current processes, and (2) the host system is not rebooted between each WebLogic restart. If you make sure of these two items, then the operating system will implicitly cache the store's file contents in memory even between boots -- when WebLogic subsequently boots the file store, the O/S should serve the file contents up much more quickly.
    * Consider moving to a JDBC store. JDBC store runtime performance is lower, but since you have a typically only have a small amount of records to recover, boot performance should be higher in this case.
    * Not that it helps your particular case, but it happens that we have boot performance enhancements in process for a future release (hopefully a near future release).
