Client sync fails unless on a IP address that has a Azure IP rule setup

I've got a WPF client that syncs to an Azure SQL Server. It works fine as long as my customers are on an IP address that I happened to use and setup a firewall rule for. When they are on any other IP address the sync fails. 
Please help.

The Azure SQL Database firewall prevents all access to your Azure SQL Database server until you grant access from specific computers. Access via the SQL Azure firewall is based on the originating IP address of each request. Therefore, when performing the synchronization
to SQL  Azure server, we need to configure specific IP addresses in the Firewall Rules to allow access to the SQL Azure server, otherwise it will fail.
Besides, if you have an Internet connection with dynamic IP addressing, you could use one of the following solutions:
   • Ask your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the IP address range assigned to your client computers that will access the Azure SQL Database server, and then add the IP address range as a firewall rule.
   • Get static IP addressing instead for your client computers, and then add the IP addresses as firewall rules.

  • How can I edit the database in Lookout OPC Modbus driver OPC sever with the address that has a write attribute?

    When I use Lookout Modbus driver OPC to communicate with my instrumnets, I edited the database number such as 41202 that has a Write attribute in my instrumnet manual, the OPC explorer got bad data, and the OPC server gave the illegal address alarm, when I input the address such as 41203 that has R/W attribute, it worked very well. Is there a way to fix this problem. When I used other OPC server, there was no this kind of problem. Thanks!

    Thanks for your suggestion. I checked the Modbus manual of my instrument, the register is 16 bit. I tried to edit the data according to the Modbus data member in lookout modbus drivere server for several different member, but the OPC still gave me the illegal address. I think the problem may be produced by their attribute, for the address 1201 and 1202, they have the write attribute, for other addresses, they have W/R attribute, and they can be read or write through Lookout OPC server perfectly. when I used the demo OPC server from other company, it can work well, but it is not convinient for me to use Labview when I use that software. I prefer NI Lookout OPc server. I am using the Lookout 4.5. I am wondering whether the Lookout has some shortcoming when I
    use the Modbus driver. Please give me any suggestion, is there any newest version of Lookout OPC sever? Thanks!

    Only iTunes content and photos transferred from another computer is affected when transferring iTunes content and photos from a different computer. Contacts aren't touched unless you choose to sync contacts with a supported address book app. Messages aren't included with the iTunes sync process and the same for photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll.

  • Firefox will not allow me to access a website address that has no www in the address, so I cannot get to a site address that specifically does NOT have www in the address--firefox keeps inserting www & then informs me that it can't find the site. How t

    What more is there to say? I was given an address to use in a project I am working on. It does NOT include www in the address. Every time I try to get to the site, I enter the address and firefox inserts www into the address and if I click on it, I am informed that firefox can't located the site try again, maybe I misspellled it, etc. Since I copied it directly from the e-mail I was sent AND I have gone to that site using the link provided in the e-mail I KNOW I can get there and it would seem that the site exists.

  • How do you change your user name associated with the app store on the iphone 3G. When attempting to update, it is using an old email address that has since been changed at the apple site. The problem is that my phone does not seem to recognize this.

    Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them.  You will always be asked for the password associated with this ID when updating apps, regardless of whether or not you are using this ID for current purchases.  The only way to stop this is to delete the old apps from your phone and iTunes and repurchase them with your current ID.
    Edit: to change the ID used for future purchases on your phone, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the new ID.  As explained above, you will still be prompted with the old ID when updating apps purchase with the older ID.

  • When I click on a web address that has come in a Google search, I get redirected to a completely different website. What am I doing wrong?

    Example: I will go to Google and put in "Glee". Many websites come up and I will click on one that is www.glee.com. A website about shopping will come up - not the website I selected. This happens everytime I try to look something up in Google.

    That was a long shot, as am sure there is a proper way to get the source files in the share, but it didnt create the share on setup of System Manager.  Did I miss a step?  How do i get it to populate the share with the client install files, or

  • Firefox sync fails while syncing passwords

    Hi all,
    I have this problem on all but one of my computers.
    Firefox sync constantly nags about "Error while syncing" and gives further details "sync encountered an error while syncing: unknown error."
    When I check about:sync-log I see:

    All other engines seem to work (passwords, tabs...) but passwords.
    I have tried resetting sync to no avail
    I have tried "stop using this account" and set up sync again using same account to no avail.
    I have this same issue on 64bit Win7 with Firefox 4b8 and sync version 1.6.1 and 32bit WinXP with Firefox 3.6.13 and sync version 1.6.1
    The computer that has sync running with no errors is 32bit WinXP with Firefox 4b8 with sync version 1.6.1
    Some of the passwords seem to sync, as when after I have tried resetting sync I have 76 saved passwords and on other computer there are over 300 saved passwords.
    It would be nice to be able to use sync yet again and be able to believe it is doing its work reliably!

  • AppleID tied to an old email address that is no longer valid-causes endless notifications window on new iphone

    I have two Apple ID's that are causing problems on my new 6+, one of these A ID causes window after window asking for the password. The A ID is linked to the e-mail address that has been deleted and no longer exists. So if I try to use the retrieve Password feature (for the life of me I forgot the Password), the only option is that Apple wants to send an e-mail in order to reset the original password. But that is impossible, the address does not exist.
    The other Apple ID was also setup and associates with the same deleted e-mail. I basicly have an iCloud ID& password, and an alternate iCloud ID & Password
    PLUS a Apple ID and password that was for the Apple Store
    How do I get rid of these unwanted NON LISTED Apple IDs?

    In LiveCycle Designer, how do I enter an email address that has spaces in the Submit to URL field on the Submit tab of the Object palette? If I enter it as is:
    mailto:NCA ABC Help [email protected]?subject=Coaching Request
    Then the email address in the To field of my Outlook message is formatted as: NCA ABC <Help [email protected]>. I have tried replacing the spaces with %20, but it doesn't work.

    Please go to RAR configuration -> Risk Analysis -> Additional Options. Here check if you have the parameter Enable Monitor Notification set to YES. If you do then set this one to NO. Also, kindly check and make sure that you have a valid email address maintained for each of the mitigation control monitor in Mitigation tab.
    If you wish to have the parameter set to yes only then you need to do the JAVA mail settings in Visual Admin. Check configuration of the JAVA mail client, which can be done using Visual Administrator, to send the Email Notification.
    (Configuration > Java Mail Client > Properties > Smtp).

    I had used Oracle Portal and Oracle Database version 8.1.6.3.0 Enterprise Edition and everything was working very well.
    But when I upgrade the version of database Oracle to 8.1.6.3.4 Enterprise Edition, an error occur:

    Database Log In Failed
    TNS is unable to connect to destination. Invalid TNS address supplied or destination is not listening. This error can also occur because of underlying network transport problems.
    Verify that the TNS name in the connectstring entry of the DAD for this URL is valid and the database listener is running.
    The connectstring entry of DAD is correct. Otherwise, I saw that a "session" was created on Oracle Database.

    Can you back out this 8.1.6.3.4 patch back to 8.1.6.3.0 and resume operation with Portal as before? Do you have any database backups to get you back (on the data side) to 8.1.6.3.0?
