Close CR via Addin

Hi all
Hopefully a quick question.
Am developing an Addin to have better control over CR and it's integration with our Document Management System (DMS).
One thing I'm having trouble with at the moment is closing CR when one of my Addin menu options is selected.
To get back to our DMS we just want 'Save and Exit' and 'Exit without Saving' which will indicate to our DMS what should happen next.
No problem there, except I'd like to shut down CR via the Addin code. Not sure which class I should be using?
CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc.ISCDClientDocument.Close() doesn't do it.
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for getting back to me Don.
Apologies, should have made myself clearer. I do infact want to close just the report that is currently being worked on, so that it's no longer visible to the user in the main CR interface.
When you say 'the report object' should this simplified function do the job?
        public bool SaveAndClose(string strInPath)
            ReportDocument rptDoc = new ReportDocument();
            // Load the report from file path passed by designer
            rptDoc.Load(strInPath);
            rptDoc.Close();
or should I be getting hold of the current instance of the report instead of creating a new one and loading it from the file. If I do, I don't know how to.
