Closing Socket within 0 Seconds

Hi,
I am using weblogic 10.3 application server. I am frequently facing the below warning in log file
<BEA-000449> <Closing socket as no data read from it during the configured idle timeout of *0 secs*>
As a response, "Page cannot be displayed" error is seen in browser for that request. I checked the config.xml, nowhere it is configured as 0 seconds.
Please help me with your suggestions.

Hi
This is message you can filter it thru LogFilter
You can set the Logfileter on your Admin console -> Click on Domain->Configuration->Log Filters->create new Log filter.
I added this line in expression "(MESSAGE !='Closing socket as no data read from it during the configured idle timeout of 0 secs')"
Go to your server-(for each server you have to set it individually)->Logging->Advanced->Select this log filter for Standard Out or log file

I'd really appreciate someone's input here - this article (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3131) guides you through using a macbook pro in closed clamshell with a second display - the trouble is that my machine goes straight back to sleep within seconds of me waking it up?? - I'm using the 'allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer' setting.
    Can you help?

  • BEA-000449  Closing socket as no data read from it

This error message is filling up the server log files. It looks like some network problem. How can I find the cause ? This does not create a functional problem, but I am sure there will be a performance problem. Also, since this message is filling up the logs rapidly, I cannot see my regular application debug statements.

firefox crashes on opening within seconds. this started suddenly a few weeks ago and despite several daily attempts, i still can't load firefox application. it crashes immediately upon startup every time no matter what and crash reporter arrives. i have researched all the articles and followed their suggestions. i installed the newest version of firefox and still get the same results. i can't even open firefox in safe mode.

You do not want to remove the program directory with a Mac because Firefox is most likely installed in the system Applications directory which is where the system applications are stored.
Have you tried removing the Firefox plist file from your user library? I have Mac OS 10.6.8 as well, and that file is at /Users/<user name>/Library/Preferences. Close Firefox and remove that file, then start Firefox again.

I installed Firefox 4 and it behaved exactly as the Minefield beta did. It looked almost identical and froze within seconds. It flat out does not function. Is there a way to make it function or is this just a massive bug that will be fixed at some point?
    I run Windows XP

Create a new profile exclusively for 4.0 and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch that profile.

  • How can I troubleshoot this problem with the iMac keyboard? My keyboard disconnects and reconnects within seconds but all the typing is lost while it was offline.  This is usually 5 seconds or less but happens 2 or 3 times in a minute.  Annoying!

My wireless keyboard disconnects and reconnects within seconds but all text that was typed during the time offline is missing.  i have to go back and retype missing parts.  What can I do to troubleshoot this.  The computer is only about six month old.  This problem is new in the last couple weeks.  Thanks for suggestions.

Beat me to it, Donald.     But there is a possible alternative.  If the batteries have been replaced since new, were they replaced with the same batteries or another make.    There are examples around which do not fit perfectly and leave a certain amount of movement inside the battery housing.  That could lead to instability such as the OP describes.

  • ITunes opens and within seconds states it has to close. I've uninstalled

iTunes will open, but within seconds states it 'Has to close'. Occasionally, I'll see a notice for an update and quickly click to 'Download update?', but when I click on 'Download', a new page opens with 'Thanx for updating', except it hasn't downloaded the update. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times, but that hasn't helped. My phone is a 5S and it won't sync to iTunes either.
    I appreciate any suggestions. Thanx.

Try working through TS1717: iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues to start with.
Otherwise, for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Closing Sockets

    Hi all,
Im having a big problem with the closing of sockets.
I have a simple program which handles the sending / receiving and monitoring of HTTP traffic.
My program has a 'sender' part which opens a socket, writes a request (using the socket output stream), reads the response (using the socket input stream, until read() == -1 ) and then closes the streams and socket.
The 'receiver' part simply receives socket connections, reads the content (until read() == -1), writes a response, and then closes the streams and socket.
The monitor part is a simple 'tunnel'. For each received socket connection, a connection is made to a server.
Two threads then operate like this:
T1) While read from client != -1, write to server
T2) While read from server != -1, write to client
Seems simple enough, and sort of works.
The problem I have is cleanly closing all sockets without screwing up either the tunnel or a client.
I try not to close the streams / sockets at the 'logical' times, but for some reason any combination I try results in Socket Closed exceptions during a read in either the tunnel or the client.
There is a fair amount of code - so I dont expect anyone to wade thru it to find the problem, but Im just wondering if anyone has:
    1) Had similar problems and found a solution
    2) Can point me in the direction for more details on the mechanics and implications of closing socket streams
The java docs seem very sketchy on this subject!!
    Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response (2 dukes for the fast reply - plenty more available on this one though!)....
Does this mean that there is no 'clean' way to accomplish the transfer task?
I think both examples will work, but I have a couple of issues:
This exception is quite normal and indicates that another thread abruptly forced your socket closed or you tried to read or write after closing it yourself. You must catch it.The problem I have with this is that under these circumstances, it is a 'SocketException' which is thrown. The API says that this is thrown if 'there is an error in the underlying protocol, such as a TCP error'. So to be sure I was dealing with the right problem, I'd have to start parsing the exception text looking for "Socket Closed".
    Im keener on option 2:
providing signalling between your threads Sounds like this is what I need.... Again there is a catch though.
See, the thread handling the client will be in a blocking read (it will have read everything from the client, and written it to the server. However, as the client socket isn't closed yet, it doesn't know its time to stop). So, Im back to using exceptions again (Im assuming I'd have to do an interrupt?).
I thought I could get round this on the client side by closing the output stream after writing everything (would signify to the reader thread that all is done).
This, however, just results in the socket getting closed (my ignorance of the underlying mechanics of sockets showing through here...).
Further, I want my 'monitor' to work with all request / response based systems - so I cant write a termination sequence on the client side to indicate end of input.
So - Im really stuck with using exceptions as flags then??

  • Photoshop CC Closes within seconds of startup

I'm having an issue where Photoshop CC crashes (just closes out without an error message) within seconds of the application starting up.  The typical loading dialog splash screen displays, but once the application loads it will crash within a few seconds.
Lightroom 5 loads and operates without any issues whatsoever.  Acrobat Pro works fine as well.
Both 32bit and 64bit versions have the same issue on my machine.  Also crashes while in safe mode
    Machine info:
    Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, AMD FX8150, 32gb Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti with latest drivers (already tried installing older driver with no luck)
    Things I have tried:
    1) Logging out of creative cloud, then starting app where it then prompts me to log in.  Lets me log in, starts app, then crashes like normal.
    2) Completely uninstall all Adobe apps, restart, reinstall apps, same issue
    3) Completely uninstall all adobe apps, used creative cloud cleanup tool, no errors in log, restart, reinstall apps, same issue
    4) Removed registry values pertaining to Photoshop CC before reinstalling
    5) Checked for bad font files, I don't have any installed that are known to cause issues
I'm at a loss for ideas now since I have pretty much done everything that I can think of without reinstalling windows.  I never had any issues running older versions of Photoshop, and I even ran the trial of Photoshop CC for a while with no problems.
Thanks for any input/help on the problem.

  • Cookies do not get deleted / re-appear within seconds if I delete them manually and yes I've checked every single support page about this and it didn't help

    – I have the most recent version of Firefox.
    – I have my settings in Preferences -> Privacy on "Keep third party cookies until I close Firefox".
    – I've checked "Clear history when Firefox closes" and have ticked every single box under settings (except saved passwords).
    – But still, Cookies do not get deleted when I close Firefox – there are hundreds of cookies every time I open it.
    – If I go to Tools -> Clear recent history, choose "everything" and tick every single box, history etc. get deleted but the cookies remain.
    – If I go to Preferences -> Privacy and click "Show Cookies" and then click "Remove all cookies" twice, the cookies disappear, but they're back just seconds later.
    – I've even tried going to Preferences, clicking on Exceptions and manually adding some of the websites that showed up under "show cookies" and blocking them and then deleting the cookies, but still they re-appeared within seconds, and the exceptions were blank again.
    – I've checked all your support pages about this topic.
    – I've seen this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/740598?esab=a&as=aaq and tried it and it didn't help.

Please help me. I used to be a big fan of Firefox but this is getting really scary.

You can't remove opt-cookies that are added by an extension unless you disable or uninstall that extension, so you can disable the do not track extension as a test to see if that allows to remove the cookies.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the <i>cookies.sqlite</i> file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
