Coding mode issues

I have noticed a few annoyances with Dreamweaver in coding
mode.
Dreamweaver allows you to drag elements (like images) out of
the file panel, but when you enter the code pane, the arrow and
icon are so large, that it is difficult to see the insertion point,
and sometimes the element is dropped into the wrong place, mostly
inside another tag.
With the new IE/Flash compatibility, we keep the required
javascript in central location on our sites. So any page that has a
flash element in it will include this line of code ;
<script src="
http://emea.3com.com/js-css/global/AC_RunActiveContent.js"
type="text/javascript"></script>
However, when this line is in place and you insert a flash
element into the page, Dreamweaver creates a new path in your
current directory (as in this case) of
emea.3com.com/js-css/global/AC_RunActiveContent.js
It is misinterpreting the script inclusion completely, and
creating undesirable results.
One more coding feature of Dreamweaver, which could be
addressed, which was handled well by homesite, is the code hinting
logic. Homesite would drop parameters from the hint list as they
were used. Dreamweaver does not. For instance, when using a table,
after cellpadding was used, it would be removed from the list, so
that when you typed the letter 'c' again, then cellspacing would be
available when you pressed enter to accept the hint.
This makes coding more effective.
So while the last, I would consider, a desirable enhancement,
considering Homesite seems to be fading from the product list, the
first two I consider far more seriously.
