Rajendra,
If you are looking for something like freeze columns in Excel - you cannot do it in Web Templates - use the scroll settings for the table web item instead and then the column headers will be shown.

  • CP4 Report settings/SCORM2004 message cross-reference chart?

Is there a chart or list of what SCORM 2004 message each reporting setting in Captivate4 will send to an LMS? All I know is that cmi.lesson_status is set to Pass/Fail or Complete/Incomplete depending on the Report Status setting.  What about the rest of the report settings. What LMS message do they send, and how is it affected by changes in settings?
A nice chart would be really useful....
P.S. I have already checked out Shameer's post on LMS reporting enhancements on the Captivate Blog.
    Thanks.

    Bump......
    Any ideas team? Thanks.

  • To change "Default Report Settings"

    Hello All,
In the interactive report, I am wondering to change “Default Report Settings”.
    Thanks in advance,
    EB NY

Make sure you're logged into the builder as a developer, pick the columns you want, filters, ordering...etc. When you are done, click Save Report - developers have the option of saving default report settings.
Again you will only see this option if you are logged into the builder.

  • Help needed with LMS Reporting Settings

I am new to Captivate and am working with 5.5 to create a number of large courses.
The first course, I have split over 5 captivate files as there are a large number of slides in each file.  I have reviewed the Help PDF on Learning Management System, but am struggling to find the correct settings in the Reporting Preferences to suit my needs.
    Course structure:
File 1     -     less than 100 slides, includes question slides not set as reporting, non score-reporting objects
File 2     -     less than 100 slides, includes question slides not set as reporting, non score-reporting objects
File 3     -     more than 100 slides, includes question slides not set as reporting, non score-reporting objects
File 4     -     more than 100 slides, includes question slides not set as reporting, non score-reporting objects
File 5     -     less than 100 slides, includes question slides as score-reporting objects and other non score-reporting objects (final quiz to be reported and scored in LMS)
I envisaged using Slide Views Only in the first 4 files, and then Quiz Results and Slide Views in the last file.
However, these two choices only seem to allow a maximum of 100 Slides - is this correct?, is there no way around this?
There is another course in our series with much more slides than this first one so having to split into files of 100 could mean
up to 12 captivate files in one course.
I don't know if I now need to re-think the structure of the courses.  Maybe I have completely misunderstood the Quiz Reporting
    and Reporting Scores.
I need to be able to have the Learner click their way through the course, making it highly-interactive for them but at the same
time not scoring everything they click, until they reach the final assessment which is 10 questions and scored in %.
Another thing, after numerous tests, it seems that if I untick the 'Never Send Resume Data' then the 2nd file does not open.  Leaving
it ticked will open the 2nd file - but then the progress is not saved if the Learner exits the course before finishing.  Has anyone
    experienced this before?
I also would like clarification on the Manifest Settings, the 'Identifier' - should I be giving each file a unique number, or does it not
really matter?  When we purchased 5.5, we did not know that we would need the Multi-SCO Packager, so have tried an alternative
called Reload Editor timebeing, which we have been using for our testing with collating the files - has anyone used this before?  I have
tried to download the free trial of elearning suite 2.5 but I am having problems getting it done.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

The number 100 shown in Slide View Completion is the % of the total number of slides, not the number of slides from 1-100.
Your strategy of breaking the course up into smaller modules like this is a good one.
But if you have only one of the 5 modules that has scoring, you might be wise to add at least one scored object to each of the other modules (perhaps a button on the first or second slide with a nominal score of 1 point) to give the project at least some kind of a score.  I find that in some LMSs if one module in a course is scored, they expect ALL the others to also have a score as well.  So providing some surreptitious method of giving the user a guaranteed score keeps everything working on an even keel.
Set Report Status as Pass/Fail and Report to LMS as Percent.  These are the settings I find most reliable.
When using multi-SCO SCORM packages created with Captivate, whether or not the second file in the sequence of modules opens automatically is something you are supposed to set up in the LMS, not in Captivate.  Look for an option called Auto Continue or similar.  This is supposed to mean that when the user finishes playing each module, the next one will open automatically.
There are two Identifiers you need to specify in each module.  One is the SCORM course identifier and all modules that belong to the same course should share this same ID.  The other is the SCO ID for each module, and these should all be unique.

  • Individual report path with defined file name from the report settings in Testsand 2012

    Hi,
    I have following task:
I want to test stand 2012 in each sequence to change the path of the report file. But the naming of the file is to be maintained as these settings can be made from TestStand into the report (DisplayName + _Report_ [<FileDate>] [<FileTime>] <unique>. <File Extension). I can not find now, however, the / callback parameter on which the components are assembled path and file in TestStand.
While I can read about the callback "GetReportFilePath" the path and file name, and with the expression: Parameters.ReportFilePath = "c: \ \ electro \ \ SHARE \ \ test protocols \ \ Test Logs \ \" change the path, but the file name will no longer be formed from the settings of TestStand.
I have the suspicion that I'm just not accreting at the right place. Can someone please give me a hint?

  • Activity Report Settings

Is there a way to change the settings for Activity Reports available under System Administration > Monitoring > Portal > Activity Reports?  In particular, we want to expand the "Number of Users in the Last 3 Hours" section to let us see the information for a larger window, preferably at least 24 hours.  The "Status of Activity Reporting" section shows settings that suggest that the data collection and retention should allow for reporting over a longer period, but we can't find any way to access that information for analysis.  Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Todd,
to change this you could open Content Administration and navigation to role Portal Content / Portal Administrators / System Administrators.
Open it and edit iview com.sap.portal.usersInLast3Hours in page Activity report. There you can configure the period in the editor.
An Alternative is to build an new iView (com.sap.portal.activityreport.frontend.ActivityReport) an configure it to your desires and place it anywhere you want.
    Hope this answers your question.
    Best Regards,
    Frank

  • VBRK VBRP Invoice Report Settings

Hi I have revenue share reports and have been driving off vbep.   Now I am and change all reports to drive off vbrp and vbrk.  I will not be interested in just revenue share invoices anymore.  I see the sales order connections via lips.  I am wanting to know best practices for getting correct invoice number(fkart) and more important how to limit konv entries.  It appears that SAP is automatically entering the standard price on certain conditions.  The end user is also entering the same condition which is the number that I am interested in.  Looking for standard practice to control this.  It is not happening on a certain condition and I haven't discovered all the conditions that it happens on.  Any help with settings on columns would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Doug,
Check the standard price condition type
Manual entries      D Not possible to process manually
First identify which condition type are allowed to enter manually.
Then in KONV check those condition type entires.

    Hi,
It could be caused if the Reporting Services Server account works improperly, such as password expired, locked etc.
The Reporting Services Service Account should be changed to run under a domain account.
Open Reporting Service Configuration Manager from Start Menu->SQL Server 2008->Configuration Tools.
Select the service account to be a domain account having permissions to send mail from SMTP server.
Note: You can also simply create a new domain admin account and use it for testing.
Set the SMTP settings from the DPM Administrator Console or the Reporting Service Configuration Manager.
Enter the SMTP server as SMTPHost.
Ensure that the account is the same as the service account.
Set the SQL Service to run under any domain account from SQL Server Configuration Manager
Open reporting configuration file. By default it will be at C:\Program Files\Microsoft DPM\SQL\MSRS10.MSDPM2010\Reporting Services\ReportServer\rsreportserver.config. Change the SMTP Authenticate tab to 2.

  • Need Web reporting settings

    Hi  Friends,
    I am working in BI 7.0 .
Trying to execute simple Web reporting but can not display report in Internet explorer.
I think between BI and Internet Explorer need settings.
    Anyone send me settings Details.
    Regards,
    Ram.

Hi I think you do not have your Web Server(ISS) configured properly. I you are talking about the Web Analyser then this should be the possible answer.Or you should have a firewall which is blocking your port. Call the Basis Consultant to look at your problem. If you have a error message displayed please provide it in the post.

  • Publishing to Skillport - SCORM/Reporting settings?

I'm currently publishing eLearning courses to Skillport using Adobe Presenter 7. These courses are simply slides with narration and a few embedded CP demos and no quizzing (I'm basing course completion on the end user viewing 100% of the slides). I am publishing to SCORM 1.2 RTE with the following Reporting options selected:
    SCORM 1.2
Report Slide Views Only - 100%
Report Status as defined by report data
Report Score to LMS as Score
    Only Report the score
These seem to be the only settings that track anything so far. The problem is, as soon as I launch a course, it is marked as 100% complete. Ideally I'd like to be able to track if the user only views 1/2 of the course (it should show 50%) or 80% etc. Does anyone have experience publishing courses to Skillport or know of any settings I can try? I've tried multiple combinations and can't seem to get anything to work (except the settings above which marks completion at 100% right away). Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Simul8,
I'm not familiar w/ Skillport...but I do have experience w/ Docent, Blackboard, and GeoLearning LMS's.
I've also seen this kind of question come up a lot in the last several months, so if you don't mind, I'm going to steal one of my responses from a different post and copy it here...and who knows, perhaps something useful will come of it.
That said, even though you don't have any questions in your presentation, I'd strongly recommend adding a Quiz element anyway.  The reason is that specific pieces of information can be communicated to an LMS that may not be available unless a Quiz is used.  And remember: a Quiz is nothing more than a "container" or a "shell" that a presentation uses when you have question slides in your content.
While we're at it, here's something you can check: if your presentation is quiz-free, then most likely you won't see the "scorm_support" folder in the root of your published project.  That will all change once you add a Quiz to your deck.
So let's try this:  Get back into your deck and go into the Quiz Manager.  Add a Quiz, and for now, set the Pass/Fail to 0.  Leave everything else alone and click the Reporting tab and use the following settings:
    Enable reporting and select "SCORM".
Immediately after that, click the Manifest button to toggle for SCORM 1.2.
You already have "slide views only" set, so that's okay.
Report Pass/Fail: "defined by report data"
At this point, Report Score / Reporting Level shouldn't matter because of the former selections/settings, so you can leave those alone.
Again, all we did is add a Quiz to the deck—there are no question slides to worry about!  Having done all this, save and publish your deck and then test it on Skillport.  If you determine that Skillport is throwing some wierd data (for example you might see: cmi.suspend_data = "not attempted" or cmi.total_time = "P"), then you may need to do some additional homework.  If that's the case, what you'll need to do is manually update a variable in the scorm_support.js file (it can be found in the scorm_support folder in your published content's folder).
    Look for the following line:
    var g_nAPI = 0;  // type of API to start searching for; allowable values: 0 - SCORM 2004; 1 - SCORM 1.2 (or 1.1)
Even though your content may have been published for SCORM 1.2, the variable g_nAPI is probably set for SCORM 2004.  To overcome that problem, change that value to 1 to get the LMS communicating properly between Presenter and Skillport.  I've run into a similar problem when launching Presenter content on a Blackboard system.  Not fun.  And I don't know why this happens, especially when you toggle for SCORM 1.2....but it does and it's frustrating.
Anyway, sorry for the long rant...and again, although I'm not specfically familiar w/ Skillport, I think the above will help.

  • Report Settings/Parameters

    Hi All,
When we apply filters to a report and save the report definition, I assume the filter settings are stored somewhere in the database.
Can anyone tell me how can we access these settings from the database?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
I think the SQL itself will be dynamically constructed using the data from these views. For instance in APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_IR_COND you can find the column name, operator and expression. There is also a column called 'condition SQL' that contains a sort of constructed expression.
