COIB Transaction - Explode is not working
Hi,
I am trying to assign component serial number to the FG material in COIB transaction ( I am using REM profile). When i enter FG material, serial number and clicked on Explode button, it is not exploding and i cant create components at child level manually also.
All the components are serialized and BOM configuration is fine. Need to know, whether COIB can be used for REM processes.
Hello Hari,
Your URL should probably look something like:
http://hostname:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=sm50
this would start webgui in transaction SM50.
You can add parameters to the URL with the & so:
http://hostname:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=sm50&sap-client=100&sap-language=EN
this would start webgui in client 100 with language English in transaction SM50

CALL Transaction in background not working pls help URGENT
hi i have writtin a bdc program which uses CALL TRSANCTION everything is working in foreground.
if i schedule the program in background the call transaction does not work. any idea why?????????
pls help its urgenthi
good
have you checked in the debug mode, if you have checked in the debug mode check wheather it is giving any error before data is displaying in the screen, if any error is displaying as a message than check that error why it is coming there.
If no error is coming than check your flow of the bdc screen in the debug mode , there must be some prob, so that it is not working in the background.
thanks

ShivHi, I have the same situation. Can you please help how your case got solved ?
Basically I have created two transaction variants- one for XD02, the other for XD03. When I am trying to assign a user to both these transaction variants ( using SET PROPOSAL), only one is getting assigned, other is getting deactivated. Please help. -
Container-Managed Transaction Type Attributes not working as expected
I am having a problem with the container-managed transactions not working as expected. I have 2 methods that work as follows:
MethodA{
for(a lot)
call MethodB;
@Transaction Type = RequiresNew
MethodB{
EntityManager Persist to database
I want the code in MethodB to be committed to the database when methodB returns. The problem is that I am running out of memory and MethodA is failing. When methodA fails after numerous calls to MethodB nothing is persisted to the database.
It is my understanding that when using requires new transactions that a new transaction is started for each call to the method and ends when the method returns while the calling method transaction is suspended.
How am I misunderstanding the requiresNew transaction attribute. What can I do to make a batch insert into my database that will not run out of memory (commit when a methodB returns)?
Thanks in advance.The problem is that EJB invocation semantics for security, container-managed transactions, etc.
only apply when an invocation is made through an EJB reference. In your case, you are directly
invoking the implementation method from within the bean. The EJB container has no idea that's
happening. It's no different than invoking a utility method.
In order to get the behavior you'd like, you need to retrieve a reference to your own bean and invoke
through that. You can use SessionContext.getBusinessObject() to get the EJB reference for the
business interface through which the method in question is exposed.

BATCH-INPUT On transaction VT02 does not work.
Greetings, colleagues!!!
I have written BATCH-INPUT on transaction VT02. I try to remove delivery from transportation. But for me does not work BATCH-INPUT because function of "Positioning" does not work in BATCH-INPUT. Prompt please. How I can remove delivery from transportation in my program using functionality of transaction VT02?
Thanks for the help.
Sergey Kozymaev.I used this in a program a while ago, worked like a charm.
s_header-shipment_num = <shipment #>.
i_item-delivery = <delivery #>.
APPEND i_item.
i_itemaction-delivery = 'D'.
i_itemaction-itenerary = 'D'.
APPEND i_itemaction.
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_SHIPMENT_CHANGE'
EXPORTING
headerdata = s_header
headerdataaction = s_headeraction
TABLES
itemdata = i_item
itemdataaction = i_itemaction
return = i_return. -
I have recently installed SQL Server 2008. When I try to execute a query against an Access database, I receive this debugging error:
"Unable to start Transact-SQL debugger. The Transact-SQL debugger does not support SQL Server 2005 or earlier versions of SQL Server. (SQLEditors)"
Nor will the query execute; I get a transport-level error 0. Any thoughts?Hi Davidmhjr,
>>Unable to start the Transact-SQL Debugger. The Transact-SQL Debugger does not support SQL Server 2005 or earlier versions of SQL Server. (SQLEditors).
Have you tried to restart the server once you have installed SQL Server 2008? As Naomi N mentioned please check the version of SQL Server you are using.
If you tried to connect to SQL Server 2005 from SQL Server 2008 SSMS, you would not be able to debug and get this error, it happens because T-SQL debugger includes both server-side and client-side components. The server-side debugger components are installed
with each instance of the SQL Server 2008 Database Engine. The client-side components are installed when you install the SQL Server 2008 client-side tools.
So it works with SQL Server 2008 only so far. Another way is you can triy to use SQL Server 2005 SSMS to connect to SQL Server 2005.
More information about configuration requirement to run T-SQL debugger as below, please refer:
There are no configuration requirements to run the Transact-SQL debugger when SQL Server Management Studio is running on the same computer as the instance of the SQL Server Database Engine. However, to run the Transact-SQL debugger when SQL Server Management
Studio is running on a different computer from the instance of the Database Engine, you must enable program and port exceptions by using the Windows Firewall Control Panel application on both computers.
On the computer that is running the instance of the Database Engine, in Windows Firewall, specify the following information:
•Add TCP port 135 to the exceptions list.
•Add the program sqlservr.exe to the exceptions list. By default, sqlservr.exe is installed in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.InstanceName\MSSQL\Binn, where InstanceName is MSSQLSERVER for the default instance, and the instance name for
any named instance.
•If the domain policy requires network communications to be done through IPsec, you must also add UDP port 4500 and UDP port 500 to the exception list.
On the computer that is running SQL Server Management Studio, in Windows Firewall, specify the following information:
•Add TCP port 135 to the exceptions list.
•Add program ssms.exe (SQL Server Management Studio) to the exceptions list. By default, ssms.exe is installed in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE.
Hope it is helpful.

Transaction Log Truncate not working on Sql Server 2012 High Availability Groups
Hi Everyone
Firstly I have tried to search the forum for similar issues but can't seem to find any that match our situation.
We have a SQL Server 2012 High Availability Group with 2 Nodes
Node 1 = Primary
Node 2 = Secondary
Backup Schedule as follows
Full Database Backup @ 00:00
Transaction Log Backup every 30 minutes from 00:30:00 till 23:59:59.
These backups are run by Maintenance Jobs, but we have also tried doing direct backups in SSMS using Backup Database and Backup Log commands.
Before we configured the High Availability group the transaction log backups worked fine.
After we configured the High Availability group we performed a Full Backup and the T-Log schedule did the T-Log backup. The 1st T-log backup truncated the log (Used space Decreased) as expected.
However subsequent T-Log backups do not truncate the T-Log.
This happens both in our acceptance and Live environments. This also happens when running the backups as a Backup operator and sysadmin, this does not seem to be a permissions issue at all.
We have tried running the Backup on the Primary and Secondary Replica.
What about High Availability groups could stop Transaction Log Backups from not truncating the log?
Thanks
JamesHi Sean
Thank you for your reply, please see the output of the sys.databases query below, and some others which you may find usefull.

Hi All,

even i am not getting some icon which we get for Va02 when a workflow is triggered. Can anybody guide me how to do the same.
Thanks in advance.
sagar.
Edited by: VidysSagar Reddy Sannala on Apr 20, 2009 9:43 AMHello,
1. Please check if you have Used the Event "Posted" of the object FIPP in the header of Workflow.
2. Also check if the binding is active.
You can also activate the bindings from T-code SWETYPV.
You can check whether the corresponding event is triggered or not from T-code SWEL (Event Trace).
Also you can try creating events using SWUE T-code.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sowmya. -
Create transaction with variant not working
Hello!
Here's my issue -- I have a program that, right now, is more of a shell than anything else. It is to access the HR Logical Database PNPCE, and to help filter the data I pull back, I created a Selection View with a couple of additional fields. I put the necessary values in these fields and saved it as a Variant.
All I want to do is create a transaction to run my program and start it using my Variant to fill in these additional fields. Using SE93, I can create a plain transaction with no problem. However, if I click the "Start with variant" drop-down field, I get a response that says screen 1000 (my default Selection Screen) has no variants.
At first we thought there was some client-side things needing configuration, but if I go create a quick-and-dirty program with a single Selection Screen value (no Selection View) and a Variant, SE93 sees the variant with no problems. So I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm using a Selection View. Unfortunately, I'm so new to ABAP, I'm completely stuck on how to proceed.
Any suggestions? Thank you so much!Saquib, thank you SO much! You're right -- that worked.
As a relative newbie to SAP R/3 and ABAP, I'm new to little quirks like this. In other examples, the list (F4) does show the variants. For some reason, this one didn't. I entered it anyway, saved, and ran the transaction, and it popped up with the fields populated from the variant.
Again, kudos and thank you so much. Points duly awarded. -
Business Transaction Control is not Working for Equipment Status.
Hi All,
I have created a Status Profile for Equipment / Functional Location & assigned 5 Status under this Profile i.e. NEW, COM (Commissioning), INS(Inservice), CAM (Care & Maintenance) & DCM (De Commissioned). For Status DCM i have assigned Transaction control FORBIDDEN for "Enter PM processing data , Enter PM planing data & Create Meas. Doc."activities.
It Means, whenever user creates Plant Maintenance Order OR Notification, Maintenance Plan OR Maintenance Item & Measurement Document for any Equipment / FL having this user status (DCM), system should not allow creation of above mentioned object.
In my scenario, system is giving an standard error message " The business transaction cannot be carried out" during creation of "Plant Maintenance Order OR Notification, Maintenance Plan OR Maintenance Item".
But i am able to create measurement document for equipment / FL having user status DCM with Transaction control Forbidden of Measurement document creation. No error message displayed by the system.
Can anybody tell me why its happening? Why system is giving error during order & plan creation but not for Creation of measurement document ?
If this is not posible in standard SAP, does any body knows about any OSS note so that we can implement the same to get an error message.
Thanks in advance
ArunPlease ensure whether both projects have the same budget profile. Other than that you need to carefully investigate how the cost was posted onto both projects in the first place. Please note in case of procurements, budget is only checked at the commitments level (search the forum as this has been discussed before).
In case this does not resolve your issue, revert back with the budget profile settings.

Transaction codes is not working in WEB GUI URL
Hi All,
We configured Integrated ITS in ECC 6.0 it is working fine but
if i enter any Tcode in URL but it showing SAP Easy access screen only .i want run some tcode throug URL .Can you please let me know how solve this issue.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Hari Prasad.LHello Hari,
Your URL should probably look something like:
http://hostname:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=sm50
this would start webgui in transaction SM50.
You can add parameters to the URL with the & so:
http://hostname:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=sm50&sap-client=100&sap-language=EN
this would start webgui in client 100 with language English in transaction SM50

Wls 10.3 weblogic-webservices.xml transaction-timeout attribute not working
Hi, need some urgent need.
I have a stateless ejb webservice and I'm trying to set the transaction timeout for some of the methods. Right now my webservice transaction is timing out to the default of 30 secs. I've tried setting in the admin console the JTA transaction timeout option, didn't work (file a case with bea support #81233). And after days of researching and searching I came across that you can setup the weblogic webservice transaction-timeout thru the weblogic-webservices.xml deployment descriptor. Tried setting the transaction-timeout attribute to 120 secs. and that didn't work. Here is the snippet of the xml file.
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<weblogic-webservices xmlns="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-webservices" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-webservices http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-webservices/1.0/weblogic-webservices.xsd">

</weblogic-webservice>
Does anybody have any clue to solve my urgent need.

Transaction MMCL does not work in ECC 6.0 system
Hello All,
I am trying to run transaction MMCL in ECC 6.0 system. It does not run. Has SAP obsoleted this transaction and come up with a new one. Basically I want to track inventory based on a Batch Characteristic value.
Thanks in advance,
SachinHello Sachin,
in order to use the transaction MMCL, the object DIMP has to be activated.
at first, please check with the transaction swf5 or SFW_BROWSER, whether the object DIMP is activated.

Copied Transaction ZCS02 not working...
Hi,
I want to create a copy of transaction CS02. But this is a function Group (CSDI).. After all, i copy the Function Group with all Function Modules. Also create a t.code ZCS02 through SE93 (copy program SAPMC29S also).
But, when i m executing the ZCS02 transaction, it's not working..means not responding.
Please tell me what would be the problem..
Regards,Thanks for ur reply,
We have some issues with the users, so don;t want to give the CS02 transaction to them...so i want to create a new Z transaction for user.
But after copy the function group from SE80, it is not working properly...
Please suggest..
regards......
