Coloring a document

How does one make a document one color and type in text of a different color?

From Full Edit (Expert Mode in PSE11) use the menu:
File >> New >> Blank File
Set your width, height and resolution of 72 for web or 300 if printing and then select a background color and click OK.
Select the T tool, choose font, size and color from the pull down menu.
Click on the blank document and type your words, hit the green checkmark when finished, drag the corners of the bounding box if you wish to scale/re-position and then save.

  • Color ID3 document exports as B&W PDF?

    I'm trying to save a colored ID3 document as a PDF, but every time I do the PDF ends up as a black and white image. I've tried using the built-in PDF shortcuts in ID3 and even printing as a PDF, but the results are the same. I've checked the PDF settings and everything appears to be fine. Any
    suggestions?

    Sounds strange, that shouldn´t be possible, actually someone asked recently how to do that....
    Which destination profile you have used in Export PDF dialog´s Output tab? (I suppose you are converting colors rather than leave them unchanged).
    Without seeing your document´s content, it´s hard to say anything about it, but check that you don´s have any transparency issues there...

    You don't open them, you just have to put it in the correct folder which depends on what your operating system is.

  • AS CS3 - remove not used color in documents in a book

    Hello, I have a big problem ...
    I have an InDesign book composed of approx. 120 documents Indesign.
    My question: Did you know a script able to delete unused nuances in every document composing a book rather than to make it document by document (120 documents) by the menu of the color swatches.
    Thanks

    Not a requirement I've come across earlier, but it doesn't sound too hard.
    for (var i=0; i<app.books[0].bookContents.length; i++)
    var currentDoc = app.open (app.books[0].bookContents[i].fullName, true);
    for (var j=currentDoc.unusedSwatches.length; j > 0; j--)
      currentDoc.unusedSwatches[j-1].remove();
      currentDoc.close(SaveOptions.YES);
    This script assumes you have your one (and only one!) Book on screen. It opens each of the Book documents one by one, removes the swatches, and closes it again.
    There has always been some disagreement on what makes a swatch "unused", and I'm assuming this works the same as it does in the User Interface -- it removes what's possible and leaves the rest.

  • Track Changes modifies author/color when document is saved

    I received a document that had been edited by another user.  When I make additional edits, they show up as a different color and under my author name, but when I save the document, they change to the first author's color and author name.  I've
    tried saving the .docx document to a .doc, but it didn't help.  I'm running 2007.

    Thanks Stefan. How is a normal mortal supposed to figure this out?
    I was quite frustrated by losing the colors of my changes (which were numerous) as I was reviewing a contract. Suddenly my comments and the other reviewer's comments were indistinguishable. I spent a lot of time trying to work around this (assuming it
    was a Mac Word bug) and then searching to find this thread. Still have to go back and now re-mark my changes to get them to appear in a different color.
    In Word 2010, the “Remove personal information...” option will get activated by Word if a user removes personal information via File tab | Options | Info | Check for Issues | Inspect Document. This is poorly documented in Help, though.
    What you can do is post to Office feedback (http://mymfe.microsoft.com/Office/feedback.aspx?formID=375) and suggest improvement for future releases.

  • How to Change Link Color Across Document

    I have a 175 page PDF and figured out how to make all the web addresses hyperlinks document wide. Now, I'd like them all to be blue (right now they're defaulting to black). How do I do this? Thank you.

    Its not easy. in fact it would have been easier to have changed the color first then added the links.
    first open the touch up text by click on its button.
    next click in a blank space before the link, space over with the left arrow key (end key) until just touch first letter of the link.
    now hold down the shift key while  hitting end key repeated ly until link is selected. now from File menu choose properties choose apperance and click the Box that is filled in with a color. chhose apropriate color  click okay until you get out.
    Repeat  the process until all the link colors are changed. By the way the PC version of Acrobat does this automatically. Anotherway Adobe slights Mac Users. And to beat it all were it not for Apple Adobe would have started.

  • Is there an "instant" way to reverse color a document?

    using CS3...
    I figured a printer setting would have it but not finding it. I have a black and white vectorized document that needs to be done in a reverse...everything black to be white and white to be black. Its becoming very tedious to go through and change the color to every little thing. Is there more of an instant way to tell it to reverse color everything?

    In AI 12 (CS2), that filter won't invert a simple black-to-white linear gradient. (Error message basically says fuggedaboud gradients.) Don't know how it works in AI 13. Don't know whether the method in post #1 works on gradients. (Feature does not exist in AI 12.)

    I have an 8-bit, palette color tiff file that I am trying to convert to PDF with Adobe Acrobat.  However, when I convert the file the palette color pages come out entirely black.  The tiff file looks just fine in Microsoft Office Document Imaging.  Does Acrobat support the conversion of palette color tiffs or am I doing something wrong in either Acrobat or in creating the original tiff file?

  • Why can't I get a pdf document to print in color?

    I am going to school online and I need to print a pdf document that my instructor had me download from my online classroom.  I can get the pdf to print in grayscale but I can't get it to print in color.  It doesn't have anything to do with my printer, I have already worked with HP and they said it is not a problem on the printer side.  I have tried everything I can think of, but still can't get it to work - and other people can print it just fine on their computers, it has to be something wrong with my Adobe program or settings.  (And I don't know anything about any of that, so any very detailed help would be great!)

    Hi,
    Are you able to print any color pdf document in color print rather than grayscale using Adobe Reader and  the same HP printer, or is the issue specific to a particualr document?
    If latter is the case, could you please send the document to shilpi at adobe dot com?
    Which HP printer are you using?
    Thanks,

  • HOW DO YOU SET DOCUMENT PROFILE UNDER COLOR MANAGEMENT IN CS4?

    When I try to print in CS4
    (File>Print>Color Management
    >Document(it displays sRGB IEC61966
    -2.1)
    I need to change this to Adobe RGB1998 and I cannot find out how to do this!
    If I go to >EDIT>COLOR SETTINGS the Working Space shows Adobe RGB 1998. Is this what the above "Document" setting should be?
    Please help!
    Dan

    I told you how to set a document profile.
    You set your working preference.  That may have combined with the policies you have set and the processes you follow to get your document into the Adobe RGB color space.
    In any case, I'm glad you have things the way you like them.

  • Color printing problems: Single documents vs batch printing

    I'm using a Canon C5250 to print 550 PDFs (15 at a time in batchs). The colors  on the singly printed PDFs differ greatly from the colors on the batch printed documents.
    I have created settings on my computer to manage the color, but the settings don't seem to apply to batch printed documents.
    Thanks!

    I am using Acrobat XI Standard. I realize now I'm probably on the wrong forum.
    Once I open a folder with multiple (4-125) PDFs my selections are Organize, Burn, New folder
    Once I select an individual PDF or multiple (up to 15) PDFs, my options are Organize, Open with Adobe Acrobat XI, Print, Burn and New Folder.
    My problem is that the color I get when I select a group of 15 PDFs and select Print from the options that appear as described the color from document to document is inconsistent.
    I can open each PDF, and even a group of PDFs, and print them singlely and I get the correct color--time after time. Repeating this process 550 times for the set of reports that I print is not the desired process.

    Hello world!
    Im trying to  figure  out  how to do what the  following  email  says:
