Combo and validValues

Hello everybody,
I hope that you can help me. I have a combobox. This object has ValidValues in this format (H1,text). In system matrix is visible only Description and Value column is invisible. How can i make it?

In a user matrix you can view only one from combo value or description, with the property Column.DisplayDesc.
DisplayDesc returns or sets a boolean value specifying whether or not to show the description of valid values of a ComboBox item.
True - displays the description of the valid value.
False - displays the value of the selected valid value.
Try to set this property on a system column.

Help connecting my VCR/DVD combo and my Wii

I have a TV with a built in VCR (that doesn't work), so I have VCR/DVD combo.
I would like to hook up my VCR/DVD combo and my Wii but I am not sure how with my HD DVR box.
The HD DVR uses the only audio/video plugs that are on the TV.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FROM BACK OF TV---- COAX---- TO AV SWITCH
TV on channel 3
FROM AV SWITCH--- RCA(red yellow white)------ TO DVD
FROM AV SWITCH--- RCA(red yellow white)------ TO VERIZON BOX
FROM AV SWITCH--- RCA(red yellow white)------ TO WII
If your AV switch does not have enough hook ups... may want to buy a bigger one OR hook one device in the front RCA jacks... I personally would go with the Wii in the front.....
once hooked up, the TV is on channel 3... and the AV swithch is switched to whichever device you like
If you use the RCA jacks on the front of the TV, you will need to change the input selection of your TV, in order to view the device plugged in there

A) contact the AV switch for support on walking you through hooking their equipment up
OR
B) get a local teenager/friend/family member/coworker/etc to come hook it up for you.... maybe make them lunch or buy them beer or something

I did use my mac while it was updating, im zero at this and it did not warn me and I always use my mac while i downloading things. I also had my isight plugged in maybe that was not good as well.

Yes. Those are perpetually licensed products with their own serial numbers. They'll keep working provided you have the hardware and operating system to run them.
Subscribing to Adobe Cloud products - including the PS + LR combo - has no effect on your ownership of your perpetually licensed products.

Combo and P4 775 3.6 800FSB

I just purchased the 915G Combo-FR motherboard and a P4 3.6 775 socket 560.
My question is are the two compatible? Can I use my P4 3.6 with this MB? I have read through the MSI website and there support area but I have not got a clear answer, can anybody out there help me find the answer. I would really like to get the rig up and running.

Combobox and ValidValues

Hi,
Whenever I try to fill a combobox in code by using Combobox.ValidValues.add(string value, string description) I always get a 'double' column combobox in my user interface, i.e. with the value and a description in it (for instance '1 - Cash', '2 - Bank', '3 - Creditcard', where 1,2 and 3 are the values and 'Cash', 'Bank' and 'Creditcard' are the descriptions).
Anybody help me out?

I think a user combo box will always have the two fields (Key and Name) visible, you won't be able to hide the first column
The property DisplayDesc set to true will display the description (Name value) in the combo once a choice is made while the property set to false will show the key (Key value).
We have to wait a new release, and to hope that this functionality in it.

I updated my Macbook pro 13in to 10.7.3 and installed the combo and i still get the wifi wake up issue....can anyone help with that

At first my wifi would randomly disconnect. So I googled some things and found this blog and someone said to download the combo update, after I did that; which resolved my problem as of now it's been two days now. I got another problem, everytime I wake my computer it asked me to manually pick a wifi. It might sound rudimentary but I don't expect I really should have to do that on any computer PC or MAC. So could anyone help me with this...is this situation happening to anyone else?

First of all, open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options, and set your old user account in "Automatic login". By doing this, your computer will always log in with your old account.
Then, log in your old account, where you will be able to delete the new user that OS X Mavericks forced you to create. Other users have reported the same problem

NEED HELP w/ P35 Neo Combo and Windows XP Install Stop 0x24 error BSOD

First a little background, in case it's relevant:
I was running a 865PE Neo2 with 4 x 1gig Corsair DDR2 6400. Otherwise, same specs as below. Ran it for 2 years without a hitch, then got a virus that corrupted my profile and had trouble booting, logging on, and persistent virus messages. Long story short, I fried the BIOS and decided to replace the mobo and upgrade the memory, keeping the rest of the system intact. I previously had windows installed on both partitions of the HDD but changed the name of the directory for Windows on the C: drive so it would boot from the D: drive.
I have replaced 865PE with the P35 and changed the boot sequence to boot from CD. The BIOS loads fine, and I get to the windows setup screen ok. Whether I opt for Recovery Console, or a new install of Windows, I get a BSOD error message below.

I tried with both new and old memory (in the right slots) and get the same message. I booting with no memory because I read in another post that the system should beep to indicate no memory and there was no beep.
BIOS recognizes the HDD, CPU and Memory so not sure what the problem is. Should I try taking the HDD out and reformatting it on another PC? (not easy since I don't have another desktop pc) Please help with some suggestions. Thank you.

Reformat would be the best thing to do. Download WD Data Lifeguard for your HDD, make the disk and run it.

That's where the 'Combo' part in the name comes into play, 2 DDR2 or 2 DDR3.

Vcr/dvd player combo and compatibility with TV

I received a VCR/DVD player combo (does not have a digital tuner) for Christmas. I have basic cable hookup without a cable box and my tv does not have a digital tuner. My dilema is that both sides play just fine but I cannot record from the tv. I would like to know what I can do to remedy this problem. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!!

Since you do not have a tuner on the dvd/vcr combo, the only way you can record tv shows on this unit is if your tv has a video output on the back of the tv. Few newer tv's have this feature anymore.
See this picture. There is a pair of audio outs on the right, and the bottm right is a yellow output for video. These are the composite outs to go to a unit like yours.
If the unit came from Best Buy, you can see about exchanging it for a Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK or LG RC897T units. They are stocked in store and have a HD tuner in them.

Safari and other aplications super slow after update to Snow Leopard. Installed the update combo and nothing happened, still super super slow. Any tips to solve this?

After updating to Snow Leopard (to install Lion later), Safari and other aplications became super super slow and Preview is not working properly, I can't print anything that was opened with Preview. Already installed the Combo update, nothing happened, Safari still taking hours to load any site. I honestly regret downloading Snow Leopard, the older version worked so much better... Hope Lion is smarter than Snow Leopard...

915p Combo and Leadtek Winfast PVR2000 - No Sound on live playback

Has anyone attempted to install a (PCI card) PVR2000 onto a 915p Combo board and utilise the onboard sound rather than a dedicated Sound Card? I've attached the PVR card to the motherboard via the CD-In connector (JAUD1 or something), but only get sound when playing back captured TV or Radio. This suggests that the card is working, but the motherboard can't hear it through the connector. I've tried replacing the cable with one that definitely works and updated the Leadtek and Onboard Sound drivers, but to no avail.
Can anyone help?

Download the latest drivers for the C-Media soundchip, PVR2000 and the latest version of WinFast PVR. After that go to the Configuration Screen in Winfast and select CD-Player for Audio-in &Audio-out. In Cmedia Xear->Mixer select CD-Player in Rec and click the button that looks likea speaker (a hammer in earlier versions and select Monitoring).

Combos and lists... can't make it work!!!

Can somebody help me! I am working in a project using flash 8. I'ts been a while since I used flash, but I am trying to use a comboBox that puts info in a list. But I can't seem to make it work. The contents in the combo do display but nothig aprears in my list. I also want to display more info in text items depending on what the user clicked on the list. But it's not working! If I publish my movie putting flash player 6, then it works!!! I need to publish with flash player 8 so other action scripts work. Can anyone help me!!!!

Oops. I just realized I'm using AEBS to refer to an Airport Express. I have ONLY an Airport Express at this time. So there is only one ethernet port on the Express and that seems to be the confusion. I can wirelessly configure the Express using the iMac Admin Utility if the Express is plugged into the ADSL modem. I am confident I'm entering everything correctly and once I get the setting updated on the Express, the Airport says it's connecting to the PPPoE server and the timer starts counting next to the Airport status monitor (top of screen) suggesting the computer thinks it's connected. Just no ability to make apps use the internet... enter web page and Safari just spins and spins trying but then eventually says it can't connect. No other apps can get "online" either. Any way to make this work wirelessly with my current setup?

You can either extend JFrame and call JFrame methods inside the class (which is a JFrame by extension)
or
do not extend JFrame and instantiate a JFrame inside the class to show the class.
But not both.
The first option is used in your app below.
Here's the second option:
