Compatibilité entre SPA112 et modem USRobotics 5637

Bonjour,
Merci

Well, I arranged the environment and tried (I configured the SPA112 as suggested above). Note the SPA112 has been connected to Internet using slow 2048/256kbps ADSL line. It has 200ms RTT - it's high somewhat for Voice.
Modem speed has been limited to 9600. It connected at V.32 9600 using V.42 error correction.
The connection is not so stable, it will survive few minutes only. It is much better on 1200 speed althougt the connection is not rock stable even on this speed. But remember my ADSL is very poor.
Even with such poor line it seems to be suitable for telemetry, alarm central and simmilar applications. It's not so good for remote terminal work.

    Hi fgmotos,
Thank you for your question. I understand that you can no longer print with an SIV in Firefox. Looking through the mentioned troubleshooting steps, I see that reseting the Firefox printer settings has not been tried yet. Please check out this article to see if there is further assistance needed. [[Fix printing problems in Firefox]][http://mzl.la/MCCq7H]

  • Remote faxing error - A fax number was not provided.

I have a USRobotics 5637 Fax / Modem attached to a Mac Mini. I can send and receive faxes on the Mini.
I have enabled printer sharing on the Mini. User rights are everyone is allowed to print. When I try to print to the shared fax from my MacBook Air, The Mini does not send the fax. CUPS provides this error:
    USB_Modem-153
    Unknown
    Withheld
    18k
    Unknown
    completed at
    Mon Aug 12 16:36:37 2013
"A fax number was not provided."
So the MacBook Air sees the Fax on the Mini and the job gets sent to the Mini but the fax number apparently does not get sent to the print server. Both machines are running 10.8.4 and are connected to the same (hardwired) network.
Is there something I am missing. I type the fax number in on the Air and I have tried various formats (xxx-xxxx, (xxx) xxx-xxxx, xxxxxxx etc) just to see if this makes a difference but no luck.
I have attached the CUPS log file below: There is the USR fax/modem as well as a Brother MFC printer configured.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you

Now all are running 10.9.2. Same problem, except that two of the 10.9.2 clients have this problem. (They may both have had this problem with 10.9.1, but it wasn't noticed until now.)
I have reset the printing system on the serving Mac, added the fax back in, and still have the problem.
I also reset the printing system on one of the problem clients, tried a different user, and still have the problem.
I also verified that the fax.ppd files are identical on working and non-working clients. They are.
    This is really, really frustrating.

    Hi Alexandre,
    It's not a problem.
Sorry it's not LabVIEW, I had another look to see if there was a TestStand / LabVIEW version unfortunately there was not.
Not really fimilar with DAIDEM but will try to help.
Not sure what the Demo.vbs is, I downloaded the example and could not find that in the example code. Looking in the SequenceFile I have found the Demo.vbs in the setup of the "Run Script" step. Looking at the ExecuteScript.c I would have expected a piece of code that executes some function when the Sequence  runs and invoke the "Run Script" but this just appears to launch a CVI panel and expecting some user input.
It looks like this steptype doesn't link directly with DIADEM but maybe indirectly via some Visual Basic code. If this is the case then it is not a very good example as it is incomplete. There is no mention of visual basic required in the readme file or the website link that I initially supplied.
I'll try out the example later to day to try to understand it better.

Have you tried running the example DIAdem Example.seq?

  • Application LabVIEW : DAQ Traditionnel et PCIE-6536B

    Bonjour,

    - http://www.ni.com/product-documentation/3021/en/
       Bon développement!

  • Reset NI

    Cordialement,
    Da Helmut

  • ROUTER OUT OF BAND MANAGEMENT

    All,
I have configured the router and modem as per the config given in the below link but it is not working. I am able to dial and successfully connect the modem but there is no display on the hypertrm. Is there anything I need to check. I am using cisco 2821 router and modem USRobotics(USR5686E).Tried with two modems and two router with all the combination but the result is same. All pls put in your inputs to resolve my problem.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk36/technologies_tech_note09186a00800941c9.shtml

Hello! Are you on the AUX or the Console port with the modem? What speed is the port to which the modem is attached?
A few quirks to be aware of:
    - The speed of the modem interface has to match the speed of the serial interface of the router. If you send AT commands to the modem from a PC, the modem will lock to the speed of the interface of the PC - so when you move it, it may not re-adapt. The best way to configure the modem is by reverse telnet (if it is on AUX) because that assures that the speed is matched.
    - The flowcontrol has to match the port. The console port does may assert "ready" signals, best to check with a breakout box - but if you can disable flowcontrol that is a good check.
Are there any lights on the modem? Does the DTR light up when you plug in the cable to the console port?

  • Setting up USRobotics USB Fax Modem with 10.8.2

I had an Apple USB Modem that worked fine for years until Mountain Lion
Now, I've purchased a USRobotics USR5637 to replace it.
I installed the fax modem exactly as the Apple device had been installed, but I can't get it to work.
I set up System Preferences/Network for the USB Modem enterring the phone number of my dedicated fax line, click connect . . . the system apparently tries to dial out to its own phone number and (of course) gets a busy signal.
Any suggestions how to set up the USR modem to get it to connect?
    With thanks,
    Janet

    Solution found!
The problem was so simple . . . and so obtuse: my old Apple fax modem refused to work when connected directly to my iMac and would function only from the USB Hub
The new USR Fax modem refuses to work when connected to the USB Hub and functions only when connected directly to my iMac.
    But
even though I'd tried both connection options when first installing the USR fax modem I failed to reset the preferences from External USB modem to regular USB modem.  Once I made the switch, all was well.
Wow, that was a tricky one!
