Compensation & 9months of horrific internet - MOD ...

1) Started early 2011.
2) Had 2 Engineers.
3) 2nd Engineer found "additional voltage" on line- 2weeks later they sorted that, connected for a week.
4) 1-month later, it's back to disconnecting every day, Noise Margin back to 15+ from the stable 6dB
5) Downstream is a crappy 5.4MB, however I can't even load pages (Guessing IP Profile has been put **bleep** due to RR)
6) Can't do a SpeedTest atm, cause it's that slow.
7) Previous MOD said I would be compensated, however nothing has happened regarding this compensation.
8) It's pathetic, and I don't normally moan.
9) MOD, get in contact & re-do my IP profile, so I can atleast STREAM for ______ sake! & get in-contact with compensation.
Loving the AMAZING ERRORS BRO..WOOO

welcome to the forum
this is a community forum where customers help customers and the only BT employees are the forum mods.
from your post you appear to be having problems maintaining connecting shown by low connection time and high noise margin.  at present getting your profile reset from rock bottom 135 would not really help as you woul be back to square one in a few days maybe sooner due to the disconnections.
really need to see if there is anything that you can do to try and stop the connection being dropped.
the first thing normally is asking if you ae connected to the master or test socket and if you have any other sockets apart from the master?
try quiet line test   dial 17070 option 2  is it quiet and best done with corded phone   if cordless then dull hum is normal
as this is your first post on the forum it is very unlikely you have had any contact with the forum mods and more likely the CS India

  • About HTTP Internet mode setting for Nokia & Samsung devices.

    Hi all,
Ive a J2ME app. wich must run in several devices. I configured and tested it in my Motorola-V300 and SonyEricsson-K300a withow problems.
Now, I must do the same with Nokia and Samsung devices but, unfortunatelly Ive not them in order to configure and try.
Motorola/SonyEricsson devices has a profile option where to setup "Internet Mode = HTTP" (no WAP) but I cannot findout in internet or phone manuals how to especify HTTP into Nokia and Samsung phones. I asked support teams here (Argentina) and they said me that its not possible and only wap is alowed. I cannot beleave it.
Please, could somebody tell me where/how to do it ??. Its very important for my.
    Lot of thanks in advance,
    BlufsteinEJ.

  • Compensation for loss of Internet

Do BT offer compensation for loss of your Internet conection if the fault is on their network, if so how many days loss of internet service is the minimum you can claim for, and do you actually have to file a claim or is this done automatically ? tia.

Not for Residential Broadband customers, only Business ones.
You can claim back daily line rental charges. See Customer service guarantee
You would have to prove actual financial loss, but that would only apply to a business, which you are not allowed to operate on a residential broadband line.
There are some useful help pages here, for BT Broadband customers only, on my personal website.

  • Canon 6D images way too dark in TV mode

When taking lacrosse and football photos, I prefer to set Canon 6D to TV mode using 1/500 or 1/640 with appropriate ISO for time of day or night. In the Spring in late afternoon / early evening games.  After having no problems for say first 100 photos, the camera in TV mode starts setting aperture too high (say 9, when just before was 4.5 in identical light), thereby creating photos that are way too dark. I shoot with sun behind me, so the natural light is pretty consistent, while the aperture selected automatically in TV mode jumps around wildly.
To avoid missing too many shots when this occurs, I move to Manual mode, keep speed at 1/500 or 1/640, and set aperture to correct number. I'd prefer camera do the work while I zoom in and out. and as the sun begins to set.
I never had this problem with other Canon DSLR's. Also, the camera behaves once it's totally dark and I'm depending on stadium lights.
Am using Canon 6D with Canon 70-200 mm EF IS II USM.
    Suggestions?

My guess if you've dialed down exposure compensation as well... and it's easy to do accidentally.
In Tv mode, the front dial (by the shutter button) controls your shutter speed, but the rear dial controls "exposure compensation".   The rear dial will only be active to do this when the camera meters the exposure... e.g. half-press the shutter button and then turn the rear dial to adjust exposure compensation.   The rear dial also controls exposure compensation in P and Av modes as well.
You can see if you've done this by looking at the meter either on the top LCD or through the viewfinder.  In Tv or Av mode, the arrow normally points to the center mark if exposure compensation has not been adjusted.  (this is the scale that shows -3..2..1..|..1..2..+3 )
You can also adjust exposure compensation via the rear LCD by pressing the [Q] button and navigating to the -3..2..1..0..1..2..+3 scale and then pressing the 'Set' button and it'll let you change the compensation.
The center position on the scale means you want to use the exposure recommended by the meter.  But you would want to use exposure compensation in situations where you realize the meter is unlikely to be accurate.  Camera's use a light meter that measures reflected light coming off the subject.  A hand-held (aka "incident" light meter) measures light falling on the subject (you actually walk up to the subject, hold the meter in front of them/it and take the reading while standing in the subject light).  An incident meter is extremely accurate becuase it's measuring the light itself... not a reflecttion of the light.  A reflected meter is subject to the fact that some subjects will reflect more light back to the camera than others.  E.g. a "white" subject reflects significantly more light than a "black" subject.)  Hence cameras tend to attempt to overexpose when shooting scenes dominated by dark or black objects and they tend to underexpose when shooting scenes dominated by mostly white or light objects.  The compensation control allows you to tell the computer that want it to shoot for an exposure darker or brighter than what the meter believes is needed.

  • Arris modem & AEBS in bridge mode w/ OS X server (Yosemite)

I have been using a AEBS (ac) as router in bridge mode behind an Arris cable modem (with its own wireless network setup) and have it create a wireless network. I extended it with 1xAEBS (ac) and 2x AEBS (n) to reach all corners of the house, all in "extend" and "bridge" mode. The AEBS (ac) router is using Ethernet cable to connect to Arris modem. This setup worked well for me and still does, until...
Recently, to get access to my files on the network from the Internet, I installed OS X server (4.2) on Yosemite running on a MP (have a few drives attached). I intend to use the servers VPN service, but cannot get its new reachability tool to identify any services running. After doing some searching I found tutorials on how to run the AEBS in DHCP and NAT mode, which results in a double NAT error the way my modem/provider service is setup.
I have not been able to find a tutorial how to configure the server in Internet mode behind the AEBS (ac) router in bridge mode. I do have a domain name, but the service provider does not offer Dynamic DNS service. And I did let the server install the DNS services automatically.
A server setup guide when running AEBS in bridge mode would be very helpful.
I would need some help configuring the AEBS router as well as setting up the server - thanks a lot!

I see nobody else has jumped in.. so I read this last night and thought it was a bit too hard..
But perhaps I can get you to at least clarify some stuff.
Arris cable modem (with its own wireless network setup)
What model is the arris? Since it has its own wireless it is a router.. or what is sometimes called gateway.
I have been using a AEBS (ac) as router in bridge mode
You cannot use "as router" in bridge.. they are opposites.. but I think you just mean.. AEBS is in bridge.. the mention of router is to qualify the AEBS which we know is a router.
I intend to use the servers VPN service, but cannot get its new reachability tool to identify any services running.
I do not use server and I would not have done the setup this way to get access to your files.. but the vpn service should work.
Test by using a computer on the local network running a vpn client to see if you can log in to the server. It is much easier to get things working locally before you attempt to do it remotely.
What type of vpn is it.. I can look it up but easier if you post the details.. each vpn uses different port forwarding requirements. PPTP is different to IPSEC which is different to L2TP which is different to SSL.
After doing some searching I found tutorials on how to run the AEBS in DHCP and NAT mode, which results in a double NAT error the way my modem/provider service is setup.
You cannot run two routers.. that will mess things up. The AEBS should be in bridge.. double NAT will kill your access.
I have not been able to find a tutorial how to configure the server in Internet mode behind the AEBS (ac) router in bridge mode. I do have a domain name, but the service provider does not offer Dynamic DNS service. And I did let the server install the DNS services automatically.
Some of this I have not used.. so I cannot say much.. I much prefer to do vpn using vpn routers.. it is far easier.
Anyway.. the bridged AEBS is irrelevant.. your problem is needing to setup the Arris for VPN pass through. This sometimes involves something simple like tick a box.. it can also be complicated and need port forwarding.
You can use Dynamic DNS client in the Arris.. that will be the best place to set this up.
You will need to download and read carefully the manual for your arris gateway.
Let me also suggest you run ethernet directly to the arris .. bypass the Extreme altogether.. it is not related to this setup but can cause issues.. because Apple have some inbuilt ipsec security for BTMM.
For setting up yosemite server to do vpn I recommend you post in the Server OS area of the discussions.

  • How do I Sync Email with BES and Calendar-Contacts-Tasks-Notes with BDS?

I have a Storm that I sync with our BES just for email and I want to sync my calendar, contacts, etc.. with the Blackberry Desktop Software.  First I was only able to sync my contacts... not my calendar.  Second, everytime I sync I lose my ability to send and receive email from my Storm and have to have our BES admin resend my service books to me so I can sebd abd receuve email again.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Did you install the desktop manager in blackberry enterprise or blackberry internet mode? I'm guessing it might be the latter, and it could be changing your servicebooks because of that... If it is installed for blackberry internet service, try removing it and installing it for blackberry enterprise service (this is a choice during installation).

  • Can't connect to web despite full-strength connection on wifi

Alright, I've scowered the internet and read several other topics, but none of the suggestions presented there helped fix my problem, so I'm throwing this at the support discussions. Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions/advice!
My wife and I live in an apartment building that provides wifi for the entire building. It's password protected, and about every 24 hours, you'll get a splash page (I don't know if that's the proper term) where you have to scroll through the building's terms & conditions and click "I Agree" before you can continue surfing. We had absolutely no problems with this setup for 9 months, then suddenly we lost all connection in our unit about 10 days ago. Between my wife and I, we have a Macbook Pro, iMac, Windows 7 laptop, 2 iPhones, iPod touch, and iPad mini, and none of these devices could connect. Unfortunately, the router and modem for our building's connection is located in another renter's unit, so I can't just reset them whenever I want. However, we did have them try this several times, but it didn't help. I even asked them to rotate the antennas on the wifi router, to see if somehow they got bumped and our unit became a dead-spot. Unfortunately this didn't work either. I even purchased a brand-new iPad mini and it never connected, right out of the box.
If I wander the halls of our building, I am able to get online in Safari and browse the internet on both the Macbook Pro and the iOS devices. However, once I go back into my apartment, I get the message that I am no longer connected to the internet, despite having the full signal at the top of my screen. Then, for no apparent reason two days ago, our Windows 7 laptop regained connection in our unit, and has consistantly worked since then. Just today, I renewed the DHCP lease on the iMac, and it has been connected for several hours. Occasionally, the Macbook Pro will connect in our apartment until, but the connection literally lasts for about 60 seconds before it goes back into the "You're not connected to the internet" mode. I've tried renewing the DHCP lease on the Macbook Pro as well as the iOS devices, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Here's what my wifi connection page on the Macbook Pro looked like yesterday when I was in my apartment and I didn't have internet connection, despite the fact it said I was connected:
and then here's the MacBook Pro's wifi connection page looks like when I am out in the hallway and able to connect to pages on Safari:
Lastly, (I don't know if this is helpful or not) but here's the connection page on the iMac, when it is working...taken at the same time as when the Macbook Pro was connected when I was out in the hallway:
    A couple of thoughts:
Does the iMac have a larger wifi range than the other devices? It seems that in the past, I've been able to see/connect to more wifi networks on my iMac than I have on my Macbook or iOS devices. Could it just be that the Windows laptop and the iMac are able to reach our network, while the iOS devices are having a hard time for some reason? Particularly odd that all devices worked for 9 months then suddenly stopped.
I'm asking the apartment manager if they she contact our local cable company about replacing the modem and/or wireless router. Given that I've never seen these (they're in someone else's unit) I have no idea how old they are, or if they need firmware updates.
Do you think this is a problem with the wifi network (range/dead spots), the router/modem hardware, or a problem with my computer/devices?
I'd love to get all my devices connected again (seriously, they all worked for 9 months before stopping suddenly), but I'm kind of working on the MacBook Pro first, and then will try and get the other things sorted out.
    Thanks for your help!
-J- (writing from the hallway of my apartment complex!)

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
Ask whoever is in charge of the router to restart it. Many problems are solved that way.
    Step 2
    Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.
    Step 3
The administrator may need to change other settings on the router. See the guidelines linked below:
Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    Step 4
Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.

  • What a Nightmare

Just thought i would share my recent experiences with you all and have a rant about BT.
    February 2010
I initially contacted BT with general enquiries about BT Business products and services. Several calls were made and I spoke to several different people. I decided that a BT product called OnePlanPlus was the product for me which included a BT Business landline and a BT Mobile phone, together attracting an annual bill of £480'ish a year.
This is supposed to give me a landline and a mobile phone with 500 mins free calls to standard UK Landline and Mobile phone numbers and a selection of international Landline numbers a month from my Landline and 120 mins free calls to standard UK landline numbers from my mobile. It included ALL diverted calls from my landline to my mobile completely FREE and unlimited. With Call divert switched on 24/7/365. 99% of previous bills have been calls diverted from my landline to my then Vodafone mobile phone, it was these diverted calls that were costing many hundreds of pounds. I make very few outgoing calls so the 500 and 120 minute free calls thresholds will never be reached.
    March 2010
I decided to go for it as this would give me an annual saving of approx £1200. But I decided to wait until roughly the 20th of the month before starting the process so that things started on the 1st April.
I was contacted by a BT Salesman very early in the month who informed me that orders can be placed up to 90 days in advance and assured me that I could place an order now and the new services would begin on the 1st April.
Great................ My BT mobile phone arrived the following day!!! but thinking that I could not use it until the 1st April I left it in its box until the last day of March. At the end of March I received a bill for the mobile for the month of March!? After several calls this bill was cancelled. Text messages were supposed to be FREE and I realised I was being charged for them, after several calls I was assured that I would receive a refund, still waiting for the refund.
    April 2010
My BT residential Landline transferred over to BT Business as expected on the 1st April.
    May 2010
    I received Two bills!!!!!!!!!!!!?
I received a bill from BT Residential and BT Business for the same landline number. The BT residential bill included line rental in advance until August 2010!!!!!. On my BT Business bill I was charged for all my diverted calls to my BT Mobile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many calls to BT Residential and BT Business took place over two to three days. I still had a residential line and a business line on the same number!!!!!!!!!!!! and I was signed up for an incorrect BT Business package. I'm still waiting to find out if I've been moved over onto the correct business package and I'm still waiting to find out if the charges for my diverted calls have been refunded / cancelled.
On Friday the 28th May I found that I couldn't make any calls from my landline number, when I dial any number I get a standard BT response saying that the number is not recognised. When customers phone my landline number they get a message saying that the number is no longer in use!
On contacting BT I was asked to dial the number 17070 on my landline, I discover that my number has changed!!!!!!!!!???????? When I get a friend to call this changed number she gets an automated message saying that the number does not take incoming calls.
It appears that somebody at BT has placed an order on my line, I'm still awaiting details about what has happened and why.
I'm told that my number could now be given to somebody else because it's basically been released, I've been running a business on this number for over 11 years. It would be disastrous if I should loose this number over the next few days whilst the problem is resolved.
BT tell me that the problem cannot be explored or resolved until Tuesday at the earliest because of the Bank Holiday Weekend, in the meantime current and potential customers over the next few days trying to reach me on my Landline number are being given an automated BT message saying that the number they are calling no longer exists and I'm loosing a tremendous amount of business and I've had to send staff home.
On Saturday 29th May I have Just been informed of a new problem, tried to send & receive emails and failed. Contacted my ISP (Demon Internet) who have informed me that BT have terminated my broadband service for me. I have internet access as long as there's no interruption in the service such as a rebooted router or for as long as my ISP doesn't reboot there authentication servers. Demon tell me I will need to apply for a new service, I will be given a new hostname / email address. I have a static IP address which I have had for over 9 years, I have lost this static IP address and will be given a new one. This means that I will have to reconfigure 2 mail servers and a webserver hosting websites and pop mail boxes for 232 businesses. The Domain Names for 232 websites and there email addresses will have to be reset with a new static IP address, this is going to take several days to complete at great cost. These businesses can no longer send and receive emails from my mail servers and it won't be long before there websites will no longer be available to there customers either.
So my website and another 232 will go down at some point this weekend, no body can contact me by phone, I cannot send or receive emails. 232 local businesses cannot send or receive there emails.
    What a Nightmare
Demon inform me that a new broadband service can be started within 48hrs when I have my telephone line back, this is called “fast tracking a new service” and it will cost me £175 plus VAT and I will then have to spend several days reconfiguring DNS settings for 232 websites and there email addresses at my expense because Demon cannot give me my static IP address back.
I could loose my Landline Telephone number and its in the BT Phone book, Yellow Pages and the Thomson Local. Just short of 8.5K customers know this number, its on all my business cards and its on all my bill headings etc, all my suppliers know this number too.

    Update........
Theres still a huge confusion about what exactly i'm signed up for and just what exactly i'm supposed to be getting.
I agreed to a OnePlanPlus product that was supposed to give me unlimited diverted calls to my BT Mobile phone.
Some BT employees are telling me this is correct, others are telling me this is correct subject to a condition.
That condition being that the total cost of diverted calls each month must not be 75% of that months total bill or greater, if it is then i must pay for those diverted calls.
The cost of diverted calls will always without exception exceed this 75% threshold.  If i had been informed of this condition i wouldn't of moved over to BT Business at all and i wouldn't be in the mess i'm in now.
BT Residential have been great and they have even phoned me on a Bank Holiday Monday to apologise for the fact that they couldn't help me because my line was now a business line.  BT Business who are supposed to be in place to help and support businesses didn't offer any help at all whatsoever over the weekend.
Transfering to BT Business has clearly been a disasterous mistake for me and my business.
A lot more expensive and no help or support when its needed.
I'm told that i will receive a call tomorrow (Wednesday) from a complaints department, no idea what's going to happen or become of it.
I'm hoping that i can stay with BT Business in some ways if they can give me unlimited diverted calls even if the 75% threshold is breached, but i think i'll be moving back to BT Residential assuming that doing so incures no early termination or cancellation feas etc, this includes a PAC code for my mobile phone so that i can move back to vodafone.  Vodafone give a lot more for a lot less money.  The only reason i agreed to a BT mobile was to get the free unlimited diverted calls, without unlimited FREE diverted calls my BT Mobile phone is no longer required.
Still hoping to get compensation for loss of Internet access, phone and loss of earnings for me and my staff and i'm hoping that they will fast track a new broadband service with Demon Internet free too.

  • 5800 IMPORTANT GPS problem

Hi everyone, There is a fault in GPS of 5800. Most of the 5800 phones in the market, GPS dont work properly. I had lots of problems from two different network. I returned them. If you are thinking of buying 5800, be careful about the GPS. They try to sell their maps or try to make it work from internet mode. But Satellite positioning doesnt work. My friend got one, his phone works properly but I tried two different they didnt get any satellite signal. I tried another 2 in the shops, they also didnt catch satellite signal. Be careful.

I've bought a 5800 red for my girlfriend on saturday (4 days ago)
I can confirm that the first time you load the maps application, it takes alot of time to fix and calibrate to the sattelites. The problem i found was that the app didn't want to set a route for the destination i set, and was just showing my location as i drove away. I haven't tried to use it since then because i haven't been driving away from home.
I decided to try other solutions and installed  Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.30, that fully supports nokia 5800xm. I have to say i'm really impressed. Initial acquiring of sattelites took about as much as it took Nokia Maps, but on the second start, the next day, it was next to immediate. I must mention i never used A-GPS, just the unassisted GPS.
I then set a route and the app already started telling me to turn right after 100 meters(with voice).
I guess it's an overall beter option, besides the fact that (i think) it doesn't support walking mode like Nokia Maps does, and it costs quite a bit -- ~$9.
Other than the Nokia Maps route problem, i didn't have any other problems.
Maybe the problem the OP had was similar to the faulty earpieces, but at a smaller scale. Who knows...

  • Why is the iPad mini screen not very sensitive to touch?

There are times when the screen is not sensitive to touch. This is always observed when in Netflix mode, i.e. When trying to pause the move, re-start to continue or when exiting the movie. Is this a common occurrence? This also occurs at times during the internet mode when the backup arrow key is selected to get back to the previous page. Any answers to this issue will be appreciated. I believe this IPad mini is of the 2nd generation.
    Golpedegulat

That's a fair point but my 4S running the last iOS 5 update loads the thousands of apps I have purchased over the past 4 years in a few seconds on a wi-fi connection. Whereas the mini iPad does not and if it starts showing sings of doing it, it simply crashes back to the home screen. The iPad works flawlessly in all other contexts and when viewing previously purchased music and video, it loads that just fine.
While these forums are exactly the place where you see that "very small minority" experiencing this issue, it is quite an aggravating hiccup for a brand new device running a somewhat maligned operating system. It is definitely not a hardware issue at all, which is comforting, but it could very well be the operating system and it could also be an Apple server problem, the latter would be great. The end result is that Apple cannot help me after I detailed the issue and escalated it.

  • Connecting laptop (XP) to Yoigo with 6310i (open)

From a Bluetooth DUN icon I can get the phone to start to access the network. In 'Navegador' mode (wap browsing, I think, this is a Spanish service) it works fine, so I have money on the SIM card and can connect via my phone without Bluetooth. So Bluetooth works, and we can access the network.
I believe that I have to set the phone to Internet to work with the laptop, which is what I am doing.
When I try to connect the phone says:-
    Connecting...pause....Connect with Laptop?
    I then 'Accept'
Phone - "Connected to Laptop" for 2 seconds then "Creating GPRS connection" then "Subscribe to GPRS first" at which the connection drops out and I get an error messge on the Laptop "Error 734: The PPP Link control protocol was terminated"
I thought that I must be subscribed to GPRS given that I can browse happily on the phone (In Navegadoe mode, not in Internet mode) and see the news, etc., with G on the display signifying GPRS.
What could be meant by "Subscribe to GPRS first"?
So near, but yet so far?
    Many thanks for your help

I've found the answer so for the benefit of those who follow....
In the Nokia 6310i there are TWO places where the GPRS modem needs to be specified. Under "Settings" and under "Services" All of the internet and data stuff is carried out under Services and the modem was correctly specified in there but on the off-chance I re-typed the designated name under Settings > GPRS modem settings > Edit acess point and I changed the name for Access Point 5 (an arbitrary one) to 'internet' which was the correct designation for the Yoigo service. Then the thing worked perfectly.

  • Canon 5D Mark III firmware wishlist/feature request.

    Auto ISO one-touch Custom Control:
As a photographer my niche is in child and pet portraits.  So I shoot Manual and fix my exposure at 1/500 shutter speed and f/2.8 aperture with Auto ISO.  The SET->ISO custom control beautifully allows me to do exposure compensation in ISO because it only takes 3 clicks of the Main Dial to add 1-stop EV.  But there is no quick way to turn Auto ISO back on.
For example, if Auto ISO is reading ISO-1600 it only takes 3 clicks to get ISO-3200 using the Main Dial and SET->ISO Custom Control.  But it takes 17 clicks of the Main Dial with the top ISO button to turn Auto ISO back on. [Note: Auto ISO cannot be set with SET->ISO]
I am proposing a Custom Control for one-touch Auto ISO to provide a very fast and easy way to switch to Auto ISO.
This functionality could be included in the existing SET->ISO Custom Control:
    1) Holding SET and turning the Main Dial selects ISO. [Current functionality]
    2) Pressing SET selects Auto ISO
If this dual context in buttons is not possible then the Custom Control options could be any/all of:
    1) AF-ON -> Auto ISO
    2) * -> Auto ISO
    3) Start/Stop -> Auto ISO [I think a lot of action photographers aren't using LiveView]
    Thank you for your consideration.
    -DS
Others all welcome to add their own wishlist.

please add exposure compensation when in full manual mode with autoISO enabled.
for example I set a desired aperture for depth of field and a desired speed to freeze movements and there heavily changing light conditions on a location with a lot of action - i will just use autoISO. so one scene might be evenly exposed, but when i turn around i have a heavily backlit person. so it would be super-practical if i could just overexpose by a stop or two via the back dial. if i would adjust the ISO the same problem as DeckardSolos arises.
    apparently nikons have that feature.
edit - second request: enable main dial image scroll in review mode
i take a shot  with image review enabled. naturally i review my image and often would like to compare it to the image i took just before. but i cant just scroll back with the main dial. i have to press play to get in "playback mode" and only then the dial will work. it would be very practical if the image pops up automatically for review and i could compare it straightaway to others.
