Complants about TNT delievery company and Apple online store Hong Kong

On 6 Aug I've ordered online a powder adapter and also a Mac software online. According to the TNT tracking system, items were collected on 9th and and was supposed to be send by 12th. But nothing has been deliveried on the 12th. I've given a company address for delievery and on Monday 16, I've noticed that TNT has been trying to deliver the items on Saturday. They have left a note. Since then, I've been trying to call them million times but like I've read about other complaints on the discussion, their lines are always busy, or no one would ever pickup. Of course I've also tried to call Apple online store and the same happened, first time I've waited 20 min and second time 30min and still can't talk to anyone to resolve the problem or try to arrange a redeliver. on 19 on the tracking system they said they tried to redeliver, but I've never recieve anything. TNT is a horrible company and I don't understand how Apple can use them!!! Now on the tracking system, seems like my items would be return to the sender. Can someone responisble from Apple explain this and resolve this situtation?? There is no e-mail that I can contact Apple online store as well, and I don't think anyone can stay on the phone all day waiting to talk to someone.... this has been the wrose online shopping experience for me!! Can some helpful user tell me what I can do?? Thank you

Welcome to Apple Discussions
I'm afraid there's nobody here that can assist you, these forums are users helping other users and Apple do not participate.
Your best approach is to call your local Apple number ((852) 2112-0099) and then ask to speak with someone in Customer Relations then explain your situation to them and let them follow up for you.

  • Why is the price of my Iphone 5s higher than the official price? I bought a 16G balck Iphone 5s in America Airport recently, and it costed me $850. I wondered are there any differences between mine and the ones sold on the apple online store?

Recently, my friend bought me a 16G black Iphone 5s at America airport and it costed $850.
But I really hope to know why it cost $201 more than the ones that sold on apple online store, since the consumption tax can't be that much.
Really hope to get some help.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand you have been experiencing issues with your iPhone restarting and showing you a blue screen.  I wont be able to give you an exact answer as to why this is happening.  However, this is the most relevant troubleshooting article for this issue.  This article also provides options to reach out to us via phone for additional assistance.

    I've got the same problem.
It wasn't the case before the upgrade to v 9.2 (Iphoto 11) yesterday.
The previous solution preferences - advanced - "select a store" (last option) doesn't solve it anymore.
    Thanks!

I receive the parcel that apple sent today, but i found that Apple send the iphone from Singapore, but i'm purchasing from malaysia apple online store, How about the warranty? is that warranty available in malaysia?? or singapore ?

Singapore is the AFE distribution centre for Apple , in the same way all online purchases from Apple in Europe ship from Ireland the European Distribution centre
As Templeton has indicated the location you buy from is the only relevant information for warranty

  • FaceTime and UAE apple online store help MISSINGGGG!!!

I bought an iPhone 4 from the UAE online store where FaceTime was in the description. to my surprise it came without it. trying to contact the store here is a waste of time. the phone number on their website is giving that it is a wrong number and no other way to speak to any one of them.
i need to give the phone as a gift and without facetime it will not be the same. is there a way to get facetime on my phone???

you can find facetime enabled phones everywhere here, that is not a problem... but when you buy an item from an apple online store where it was said that facetime is in it, you get really disappointed when you find your item has missing software. i wish i bought it from a cheap dealer than all this mess!!!!

  • How can I file a formal complaint with the Apple Online Store Canada?

I've spoken to two customer service representatives at this point about an order that I cancelled within a half an hour of placing it, as I was initially unaware that the product I purchased would not fit my sister's iPhone. As stated in the Cancelled Order portion of the following page: http://store.apple.com/ca/help/viewing_changing_orders#cancel, I should NOT have been billed for the order. I was billed last Friday and am still yet to receive the refund, despite the fact that the first rep I spoke to advised that my money would be refunded in one day. The statement on the link I provided is completely misleading, as well as the email I received stating that I would not be charged at all. Someone with Apple must amend this statement on the website and the automated emails, as it could be considered legally misleading. I will in no way be pursuing any legal action, as I don't have the time and I'm only out $90.00, but I can't imagine having purchased the MacBook that I wanted to purchase prior to this incident and going through an ordeal like this again. Can someone please advise who I should contact and where I can find their contact information please? I love the apple products that I own and would hate to discontinue my customer relationship with the company.

Also, please remember that no refund from any store is instantaneous. They will process the refund, probably within 24 - 48 hours. After that, your bank/credit card company has to credit your account....... mine takes at least 3 business days to do so (the banks are very efficient in posting charges, but like to keep the money for a couple of days before giving it back to you - they've been doing that for years).
Edit: I just checked their return/refunds policy and it includes this:
Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancel request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:
If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
Products purchased from the Apple Online Store using an Apple Store Gift Card will be refunded to you as an Apple Store Gift Card by email within 3 business days. If you’d like us to mail you an Apple Store Gift Card, ask the representative helping you. You will receive it within 8 business days via United States Postal Service (USPS). If you purchased an item from the Apple Online Store and are returning it to an Apple Retail Store, you'll receive an Apple Store Gift Card by email within 3 business days.
Note that it states it will be initiated immediately, but  will be sent within 5 business days.
    Read the entire policy here:

  • Apple online store does not have idea even they charged my card.

    Hi ,
I tried to make a purchase from apple online store , it was 11/15 morning around 9:30 am ... eastern time.
I tried to buy an IPHONE 5S GSM 16GB TMOBILE SILVER by splitting charge in to two different cards .
Well , the transaction did not go thru , everything was normal ; till I saw the charge in my wells fargo account for 174.43 USD and called the bank , learned that the amount debitted from my account was a charge "not an authorization". Bank told me to call Apple and connect them to merchant services of Wells Fargo so I called APPLE ONLINE STORE at 11/15 around 16:15 and spoke with online agent JOSH and made a conference call with WELLS FARGO MERCHANT SERVICES ...
Wells Fargo confirmed to JOSH that it was a charge even JOSH could not be able to find & match the charge with related credit card number. Only thing JOSH advised me was to wait till tomorrow morning ...He told " It should dissappear from my account "... On the other hand wells fargo told I can claim a dispute but the it will take 10 business days for me to get reimbursed. So who is responsible for the $174.43 vaporized from my account by APPLE and they do not know about that ?
NOW I'D LIKE TO ASK A BASIC QUESTION TO ALL YOU HIGH IQ LEVEL GENIUS PEOPLE OF APPLE INC. ; HOW COME YOU DO NOT KNOW  THAT YOU CHARGE A PERSONS CREDIT CARD ?
    Awaiting your kind reply ,

Well, it seems to me that you were told that a credit would be issued and to wait until tomorrow. I'd suggest you do that, though I'd recommend waiting until perhaps Monday, or at least Sunday, since it may take a day for your credit card company to process the credit.
If by Monday you haven't seen the credit arrive in your account and your credit card company confirms that they haven't received it, call Apple Support, ask to speak with someone in Customer Relations, and calmly explain the situation to them and ask for assistance in getting a quick resolution.
    Regards.

  • Are the prices shown on Apple online stores the price actually paid or are these prices subject to extra local taxes..VAT or purchase tax etc

I think it varies. In the UK and France, for example, where I have purchased from the online store the prices included relevant taxes. I believe that in the USofA and perhaps some other countries that the price shown is net of tax because the tax rate varies from state to state.
You can always go through the process of preparing an order at the Mac Online Store for your country and it should show the price together with any taxes. You don't, of course, actually have to place the order .
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about the USA online store.
Correct Paul - in the USA, each State sets its own sales tax, so the tax is only calculated during checkout once you've entered shipping/billing information.  Even within some states, some cities have their own sales tax rate (eg. New York State is 4% but New York City is 8.875%).

  • Possible fraudulant phone number from Apple online store.

Just wondering if anyone in the Apple community has had experience with fraudulent phone numbers from the Apple online store. The number in question is 1 800 506 3096 with a person named Michael with ext "1111015" needing to verify an iPhone purchase from placed by my father. Only thing is my father has never owned an Apple product and really doesn't even know how to order things online. My parents checked their credit statements and found no purchases so no identity was compromised.

It was a message left on my parents home phone, the man named Michael left the number and his ext in the message saying he needed to confirm details about a new iPhone purchase placed by my father.
-Update to the situation, my mother called the actual online store number the 1 800 my apple, spoke to a supervisor asking about this number that called them, the supervisor said he would call the number himself, after on hold for a minute or two he came back and said himself that the number was an actual apple online number. I seriously doubt it because I Googled the 1 800 506 3096 number and came across numerous  posts saying they got a call from a Michael asking to confirm details about a purchase.

  • Reseller or Apple online store?

    Hi Guys,
Well I am just about to put in my order for a Mac pro.
Are there any advantages of getting it from a reseller or should I just go ahead and order it from the apple online store?
    Thanks for any advise
    Andy

The ONLY resellers I would buy from are 1) Amazon, 2)
MicroCenter (if you have one in your area), and 3) an
independent reseller in your area that allowed
exchanges for DOA products). I would not buy from any
    other reseller.
If you read the terms of sale at most resellers, ALL
sales are final on Apple purchases. This means if
they send you a DOA Mac you are screwed. They won't
exchange it for you, and Apple will only offer to
repair, not replace it unless you put up a giant
    fight.
Amazon and MicroCenter will both take back DOA
purchases (Amazon even pays the return shipping
without a fight) and refund your money or send you
another machine. Some local resellers have similar
policy...but get it in writting before you pull the
    charge card out.
Amazon has a nice rebate on the MacPro right now so
that is the advantage to buying from them.
Apple will exchange DOA machines that you bought from
    them.
Apple does not ever discount it's posted retail prices( except for Students, businesses, government employees or refurbished items), unlike many other online resellers of Macs.
Also, if you order a BTO machine from Apple, you will pay quite a mark-up for additional memory, video cards and such..all subject to a sales taxation.
I recommend that you ONLY buy from a reseller like Expercom, or Amazon, unless you have money to burn, or qualify for a special discount (see above).
I saved over $600.00 purchasing my Mac Pro thru Expercom instead of directly thru Apple. To me..that's a hefty savings. I even recieved my Mac Pro two days earlier that on of my clients did.. ordering through Apple.
And regarding the return policies from non-Apple resellers, As a Mac Tech, I have personally returned at least 8 or 9 defective or DOA Apple computers from 5 different reseller for either a full refund or new replacement with zero difficulties. I just returned a MiniMac that arrived DOA from Expercom for a full refund, with no problems or fees.
While Apple makes great products, and their stores are impressive showcases for those products, if you want to really save money on those products, buy elsewhere. Just research any reseller you're considering buying fom, read their customer ratings, and if neccessary, call them and personally to find out their return policy, and to see if it is flexible ( which in most cases it is).
The name of the game here is getting a great machine at a great price from a reliable reseller. Otherwise, buy from Apple, and be prepared to pay a premium price...Good Luck!!

  • Is the Apple Online Store safe to buy

I want to buy the new Macbook Air but my dad doesn't like giving out details without knowing that the site is safe.
Can you help me prove to my dad to buy it of this site.

You mean the apple online store isn't it? www.apple.com
I think is more than safe if i need trust a website i only trust apple. You can give your details for the purchase and after delete them, also you can pay but getting apple bank account in your country and making a deposit there but the easiest and safer way is do it online with your card is safe believe me.
May you shall care more about pay in a supermarket or petrol station with your card than use it in apple.
I never ear any problem with people buying at apple online,i did it myself several times and i am quite happy, also if you no happy with the product you get a refund to your card,i already get it in a apple store so online shall work in the same way and believe me it works.
I can't think why your dad shall care about it,i mean i understand your dad point but and i respect it but also i shall say that is safe and if you don't trust just do the payment and delete your card details after is being confirm or after some days.
Apple is apple because care about things like that and if you use apple website you safe,i mean always is a small % that something can go wrong but i don't think in this case is something that shall stop you to make the purchase. Is if no the one one of the safes ways to do it and i am sure your dad can confirm that after do it.

  • Charges from apl* apple online store us

I have booked one MacBook Pro in this morning of which the cost + taxes is $1497.11. However, when I place the order, my credit card showed me that Apple charged me $0. I was confused at that time but I didn't care at that time. However, at night I find a $100 charge from apl* apple online store us in my credit card. I am not sure whether it is an authorized charge from Apple for my MacBook Pro because I don't understand why it just charged me $100. Now I have blocked my card for safety concerns as I googled apl* apple online store us and it showed a lot information about fraudulent charges. Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks.

This is a user-to-user support forum so there isn't much we can do regarding billing issues. I would contact Apple Store support: http://store.apple.com/us/help/contact

  • IPhone Developer Program (Apple Online Store not available in my country)

I registered to the iPhone Developer Program (at the beginning of the beta) and a few weeks back i received an e-mail from Apple, that i can enroll to the Developer Program. I clicked on the link in the e-mail, and it brought me to a country selection page, where i had to select which country's Apple Online Store i want to use to purchase the product (the Apple Developer Program). The problem is my country (Hungary) don't have an Online Store, so i couldn't finish the enrollment process.
Can anyone help me about this issue? Is there any other way to purchase it?

    Any news about it?
    I got the same problem...
