  • Third party Sales Orders in V.15 Back Order Report

    Hi,
Is there any standard setting to incorporate undeliverd third party sales orders in the standard V.15 backorder report.
I need to get the list of third party SOs which are backordered???  similar to drop ship and stock orders (TAB & TAN).

As per my knowledge, in standard Third party Sales Orders process,
    -On availability check.
    -there is no GI.
    -no movement type.
-TAS - I Cat - is not relevant for delivery.
    The Standard process is
Create Third Party Sales Order (VA01/VA03 - retrieve PR num)* - Create Purchase Order (Display list of PR with ME57 and convert to PO with ME58) - Approval/Release of PO (if required - ME28) - Invoice Verification (MIRO)**
    - Billing (VF01/vf04)
The PR number is automatically created in this step.
The incoming invoice from the vendor updates the billing quantity, so that the customer-billing document can only be created after entering the invoice from the vendor.
So, in standard TP sales process, Back order processing is not possisble. If you any other business process scenario, do share with us.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Open sales order and back orders

    hi ,
what is the difference between open sales order and back orders?
    thanks
    ganesh

    Hi Ram,
A open sales order  is the one which is not yet delivered that means u have only created a sales order and saved it( create a sales order, save it and see the document flow, the order shows as open)
Back order is also an order which is not completely fulfilled. may be because of the target quantity or because of not meeting the requested delivery date.
in this case you will pull back the required quantity from other sales order(open sales orders) this is done using T.Code CO06.
    cheers,
    anil.

  • Back order processing

    Hi,
what i have to maintain in opjj for checking group - 02 and checking rule- BO
wat r the settings i have to do?
becaz system wants checking rule BO in co06 AND co09..
    thanks in advance

    Dear,
For Backorder processing, the checking rule should be BO only. Checking Rule 02 applies only for sale order  creation use for Back Order Processing CO06.
Go to OVZ9 or OPJJ  select the combination 02:::BO and execute. where you have selected the following:-
    Incl purchase orders
    Include reservations
    Include deliveries
including sales requirements with check all planned and production order.

  • Vendor Master File - Back order allowed

My client is using ECC 6.0 Retail
We would like to automatically allow or not, back order from certan vendors.
We are using also TM and WM. The Inbound Deliveries are created automatically at night and POs are manually closed by the buyers. If there is a partial receipt by default another I.Del. will be created at night for the remaining quantity. When POs are reviewed after the fact, the inbound deliveries will be deleted, POs be flagged as completed and the case will be closed. However we know that for this particular vendor, he will never shipped backorders. Is there a flag we can use in the Vendor Master File to identify these vendors (no backorder) and prevent the creation of additional Inbound Deliveries?
    Thanks
    Gaetan

I would agree however in this case this is more vendor specific than article specific. The same article might be sourced from two different vendors having two different approaches (with or without backorder deliveries).

  • Customized Back Order Report

    Hello,
I have a customer who would like a customized back order report.  They would like a query that would show them the following:
    - The Items on any orders that have been partially shipped on the row level.  (I was able to create a query that would do this by making it a requirement that the Delivered Quantity be greater than 0).
    - The Items on any orders that may be partially shipped overall.  I cannot figure out how to write this part of the query.  I don't know how to tell the query only to pull the lines from orders that have other lines that have been shipped.  The one query I wrote only looked at the Delivered Quantity and I made it so it had to be greater than 0.  However, this left out a number of orders that did not have whole lines shipped.  I would still like to see those rows.
The conventional Back Order report is not very helpful to our customer because they are a seasonal distributor.  They receive most of their product all at once.  For this reason, they may have whole orders that are overdue a few days (due to a delay in overseas shipping or other reasons).  They know about these orders.  They would like a list of the orders in which they have already shipped something (either partially shipped the line or partially shipped the order).  They would then use this list to call the affected customers and ask if they would like to remainder of their order to ship when they receive the product or if they would like to cancel the remainder.
The conventional backorder report has over two thousand lines on it and it would be very time-consuming for them to go through the individual documents to determine which ones had shipments created and which ones were listed simply because they were overdue.
Can anybody help with this?  I'm not sure how to tell if the sales order has had a delivery created or not.  Like I said, I can figure out how to tell when a line is partially shipped but not when the order overall is only partially shipped.
    I appreciate everybody's help!
    Thanks,
    Amanda

    Hi Gordon,
Thank you for your query.  However, your query brings the same results I was able to query as well.  It shows all of the lines that have had something shipped on them.  But my customer would  also like to to see those orders that have had some lines shipped and other lines not.
For example, they have a sales order 10962.  This sales order has 3 lines on it.  1 line on this sales was order was shipped complete.  The other two lines have not been shipped at all.  I would the query to pull the two lines that have not been shipped at all.
The other part of the query is what you and I have both written.  This part of the query pulls the lines that have had something shipped on the line but it is not the complete line.
I was hoping there may be some sort of flag in the table or something that would indicate if a delivery has been created from the sales order.  Do you know of any such flag or any way of writing a query that would check this?
Again, thank you for taking the time to write your query.  I appreciate the help and time you've spent.
    Thank you,
    Amanda

  • Back order process solution

    Hi SAP Guru's,
How can you redefine the back order process?.. this is particular for returns oders, because it is open sales orders. so it is difficult to identify them.
    looking for a comprehensive solution.
    Thanks In Advance.

    Hey DB49 and Other Guru's,
The scenario and requirement is given below,
    1.     If we are creating delivery for sales order again. (Already created invoice or delivery previously). Those are Back Orders.
    2.     But we are unable to identify the back orders. Because those are open orders. New orders also consider by system as open orders.
    3.     All orders want to reject after delivery creation. (Except customized orders)
    a.     We are using  Mass sales order change.
    4.     When we re-invoicing the back orders;
o     If that sales order was rejected one, we want to remove the material rejection ITEM-wise. This wants to do manually one by one for each ITEM.
o     Then we want to allocate the goods to ITEM-wise. (Confirm the quantities for delivery creation). This wants to do manually one by one for each ITEM.
o     Then change the sales order date. Because if there are price change we want to invoice new invoice in new prices.
o     Then we change the credit term of sales order. Because we want to reduce credit period for referring sales order gave date.
o     Then we check the 01st day (order entering date) discount percentage. System will automatically give new discount percentage for back orders. But new discount rate & previous discount rate not match. So we need put manual discount rate for differentiation. Sometimes discounts are matching, at that time we are not putting manual discounts for back orders. Sometimes back order discount is larger than previous discount percentage. At that time we are unable to process these type orders.
o     After that we are creating delivery documents for back orders as normally.
o     Finally get the Invoices and deliver the goods to relevant customers.
         Requirements for change the back order system;
o     Want to identify the discount percentage in initial stage. Itu2019s fixed & not changing in back order processing time. (If we are change the pricing date or credit term, it is not effected to order discount percentage.)
o     In the rejected back order processing time, want to release the back order material rejection one time. Using one transaction. Currently this is doing one by one for each material.
o     And we need allocate goods (Conform the goods for delivery) once (we need one transaction) to all the materials in the back order. Currently this is doing one by one for each material.
o     If we can do these changes in SAP system for back order processing, we can reduce errors in to zero level. And the processing time of back orders also reducing. But if there are any variations in the material stocks, it is effected to back orders time to time processing.
         Suggestions;
    o     System change is required.
o     We need to consider about market demand & production supply for complete the orders.
o     All orders want a time period for complete. (Need to discus with Sales team).

After install of Mountain Lion I have no facetime. It is nowhere in hd and ap store will not allow download.
Will I need to re-instal ML in order to get it back?

    Where are you, geographically?
    I might suggest:
    Give this a try:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
After this is completed download and install 10.8.4 Mountain Lion Update v10.8.4 (Combo).
If this doesn't work, then reinstall Mountain Lion:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Back Ordered State when item available in inventory

    Hi!!
even when the item is available in the inventory, when thr order is pick released, it goes to back_ordered state.
what all can be the reasons??
There were many issues concerning ATP reported in Metalink.
Those solutions were implemented and now there's no error in ATP inquiry.
It shows status as available in the order entry form , but backorders during pick release.
Plz help me out o fthis..

    Hi!
It was because my material transaction interface manager was not running.
Now it has moved from 'Back ordered ' state to released to warehouse status.
    I'm not able to pick-confirm.
    I've given as auto-pick confirm =yes, auto-allocate ='yes'.
    Procedure followed:
After booking an order, navigated to release sales order form and tried both online and concurrent options.
The concurrent request for pick-confirm API ends with error due to timeout.
In Online mode it sayz, Pick confirm is not completed
So I do it thro' Transact Move Orders form.
But the request is in pending state only.
I saw a similar issue in the metalink(reg. pick- confirm API) . but solution was not there.
    Please giv your input.

recently recieved a second hand Iphone 4. I was testing the Camera, the rear one worked perfectly fine, however when i pressed the switch button the front facing camera shutter freezed and started flickering. In order to get it back to the rear camera I have to reset my settings. Does anyone know why the front facing camera is doing this and how i can fix it.
    iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

I would ask the person you received it from if they've had this issue.
You can completely close out of the camera, then do a reset, hold down the home/power button together until yo usee the apple logo and then release, then wait for you phone to boot back up.

  • Back ordered Logic Board???

I took my eMac into CompUSA 8 days ago because my logic board failed on it, and they are telling me the board is on "back order" with Apple but can't tell me when Apple will ship. I have been on the phone, on hold for over an hour with Apple with still no answer. Anyone having the same problem? It looks like a rash of bad logic boards on the 2004 eMacs according to info I've found online. It's really frustrating to try to get an answer as to "when" I can expect this eMac to be repaired.

You did not specify which particular model of eMac you have, but as of September 10, 2006, the following is true with regard to stock levels of eMac logic boards:
The 800 MHz and both versions of the 1 MHz logic boards used in the eMac (ATI Graphics) models are in stock. The three versions of the 1.25 MHz logic board used in the eMac (USB 2.0) models are all out of stock, as is the 1.25 MHz logic board used in the eMac (2005). The eMac (2005) 1.42 MHz logic board is in stock. In summary, if your model uses a 1.25 MHz logic board, CompUSA is being absolutely truthful: they are all out of stock.
Apple will not accept non-equivalent exchange parts in such cases, particularly if the repair extension program applies to your device, which it likely does. You cannot ask them to substitute a higher or lower speed logic board, and they will not generally substitute one 1.25 MHz model for any of the other three. You will simply have to be patient until stocking levels return to a point where your service part is available.
Calling Apple is an absolute waste of time, because there is no one you as a consumer can deal with who can influence the outcome of your repair case. You are in the queue, as is CompUSA, for receiving a replacement unit as soon as one which matches your specific service part is available. And there are potentially thousands of others worldwide facing the same issue.
What you are effectively asking for by calling Apple is preferential treatment, to be vaulted over those waiting in line ahead of you, and it's simply not going to happen. And, as great an inconvenience as it is to you as an individual user, Apple won't modify the repair extension program to address your single issue of availability. Nor would any other company facing such an issue.
The service personnel at Apple supporting AASPs and other service providers like CompUSA do not have access to a due in date for replacement parts, and in any event, any date you are given is meaningless until the part is actually in their hands. I know that it's frustrating, but you simply have to wait until the part is available, is shipped to them, and your repair is completed.

For a closed back-to-back order line how to find the requisition number?
