Component quantity in production order

Hi,
For my finished product component quantity in BOM is 1.386 for the base quantity 100.When am creating the production order for 100 in my component overview of  production order screen it is showing component quanitity as 2 instead of 1.386.
Since am not using any rounding value, rounding profile and scrap nad upto 3 decimals allowed in CUNI for particular UOM.
Thanks

As I understand even if production order screen it is showing component quanitity as 2 instead of 1.386 ,Internally it is stored as 1.386 only.
So as per knowledge it should not affect anything.

  • Scrap Quantity component  in the production order

    Dear gurus,
    in the material master of a component i insert the scrap % ( view mrp4) = 10 %.
The field is read by planning Mrp and explosion of bom , but when i inseert this component in the production order manually the system don't read this % and the field "scrap quantity in the component detail of the production order is blank.
Are there a setting for uograde this field ( in the production order ) when i insert MANUALLY the component in the production order?
    Example:
    1) material master of the component  > scrap % (view MRP4 ) = 10 %
    2) production order created
    3) insert this component quantity 100 pc and the system after read the material master  insert 110 pc , and upgrade the field automatically 10 % (as material master)?

    Hi Danielepistilli,
Well there is a lot of difference is there: see you are creating production order for header material which is FG. If you maintained component scrap in material level it will be dependent on BOM quantity which you maintained for the header material.
For example say component x quantity is 50 in BOM. How it will calculate when you run the MRP.
component scrap % is 5% then:
                                     ===>            (5/100) * 50 + 50
Formula is: Percentage of scrap quantity x original quantity + original quantity
So                           ===>           52.5 quantity should be come for component
So, the order quantity for the header material will not take this quantity or scrap but if you see individually in MD04 screen for X material you can find this quantity ok.
I hope it clears your doubt and helps you any queries please revert me back.

  • Fetching open component qty against production order

    Hi
The requirement is to fetch component 'open quantity' for a production order. [ Open quantity = requirement - withdrawn qty of the component ]
Can we get it through /SAPAPO/OM_ORDER_GET_DATA ? I could see the requirement quantity but not the quantity required.
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi PP_HKV,
I did as you told me  about use MB1A/261 against production order and you rigth, This not up date any quantity in production order for component only I can see this movoment in option   GOTO --> Documented goods movements, but not in component overview in field Qty withdrawn, It is the same case when I use MB1A/262 transation allow me to do the movment but the quantity in production order for component is not up date only it is show in GOTO --> Documented goods movements
I see in standard process it is not work as I expect. Is there some way for to do that any bapi o customization?

  • Change component quantity in planned order

    Hi,
Is there any FM or BAPI for changing component quantity in planned order?
    Regards,
    Archna
Edited by: Archna Raja on Sep 22, 2010 12:17 PM

    Hi Srinivas,
I assume, you try to change Manfacturing Order ( Like Process Order, Planned Order etc). If so, the mentioned bapis will work perfectly. However, you have to send right data to bapi BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3. Send to bapi, only what is needed, because if there is any mis-match,system will not update the order.
Few insights from my side are,
    1) Check "ORDER_TYPE" Input Parameter.
                   -     5 Planned Order
                   -     6 Production Order
    2) Fill Only ORDID, ORDER_NUMBER and MASTER_ORDER_QUANTITY in the structure  ORDER_HEAD.
    3) Also, fill the same in the structure ORDER_HEAD_X. Put 'X' only for MASTER_ORDER_QUANTITY.
    Hope this will help you.
    Thank you,

  • How to create a manufactured component in a production order network

    Hi,
I've been facing problems to create a subnetwork in a production order. I want to add a manufactured component at a production order network.
Does anyone know any BAPI or FM to solve this problem?
    Thks,

I tried to use the below FM sequence, but I just create no-manufactured compenents. However this tried was failed too, becaus a couple of fields was missing when I go to CO02 transaction.
    CO_XT_COMPONENT_ADD
    CO_XT_ORDER_PREPARE_COMMIT

  • Determine a component in the production order

    Hi,
To determine if a component in the production order is relevant for the paint dispatch list:
For a Production Order, after retrieving all the components (children) of the header material utilize function module CLSE_SELECT_AUSP.  Pass the following information under the import parameters:
    Function Group: CLSE
    Function Module: CLSE_SELECT_AUSP
    Import Parameters:
    KLART   = 001   (Hard-coded) (ZERO, ZERO, ONE)
OBJEK  =    (Component number from production order Item) – RESB-MATNR
    MAFID = O  (Hard-coded) (The letter O)
              KEY_DATE  =  (BOM Explosion Date) – CAUFV AFKO-AUFLD
    Returns:
              Table = T_AUSP
              Field  = ATWRT
              T_AUSP-ATWRT
Then the following logic should apply:
IF T_AUSP-ATWRT = OPTPNTD THEN this component (RESB-MATNR) is relevant for the dispatch list.
can any body explain the meaning of this

  • Component addition in Production order.

Iam doing Sales order Mrp. After that planned order is converted into production order.
Bom components appear in pegged requirements.
In production order change mode I delete some components and refresh MD04. Components disappear from pegged requirement. It is ok
Now In production order change mode I add some components and refresh MD04. Components does not appear in pegged requirement.
I do MRP again but Components does not appear in pegged requirement.
How to get components in Pegged requirement list??

    Hi,
Why requirement for new component does not get added when MD50 is carriied out??
While running MRP using T-code MD50, The system will explode BOM and it will do the net reqmt calculations. Since the newly added component is not part of the BOM, that is the reason it is not considered.
After doing Plant level MRP requirement for that component gets generated but it does not appear in pegged requirement of header material??
When you add the component in the production order, it will create the reservation. In the next MRP run only this reservation will be considered and it will plan.

  • Batch Determination for a component of a Production Order

    Hello All,
I need to determine the batch for a given component of a Production Order in my report.
Like in tcode CO02 we provide the production order and select the component from the list and do the Batch Determination , i need the same functionality in my report.
Currently i am fetching all the components of a PO entered by user on the selection screen of my report. Know the user selects the component and press on Batch determine button to fetch the batch value.
Can anyone please let me know if there is any FM or class or BAPI for the same .
I tried using FM VB_BATCH_DETERMINATION but the passing of parameters is not correct...  still working on it.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ravi Aswani

    Hi,
Will you share steps you have completed so far for doing for Batch Determination?
It will help us to find the missing part..
    - Check all the Batch Characteristic values are maintain in the Batches. If values are missing then also Determination will not take place.
    - Check whether you have maintain Sort rule to Batch Determination strategy or not

  • To issue the component to the Production Order

    Hello All,
I have assigned the component to the Operation of Production Order from Different plant(say 1100) of Same company code(1000).
I want to issue that material from that plant to this plant (say 1000) of Production Order.
So my question is the correct method of directly issuing the component to this Production Order of different plant.
    Shailendra

    Hi  HAdkar
    The correct procedure is .
You have to assign special procurement key 80 in material master for which you want to procure from plant 1100. The material master of procuring material should exist for the plant 1100. While running MPR the procurement proposal will be automatically created in the 1100 plant. From 1100 plant you do stock transfer to your storage location. Then finally do GI for the header prod order in you plant.
This is the procure in SAP. Eventhough both the plants exist in the same compound.

  • Issue about requirement quantity in production order

    Hello:
Requirement quantity shows negative number when I am creating production order, as I checked its BOM it is ok,what's wrong?

    Allen,
Check in CS03 in the item level details of that component for Co-Product check box activation. Also check in BOM whether its maintained in negative quantity. This component would also be defined with Co-product check box in MRP views.
If the above are not true then manually someone would have changed., so would suggest you to just try creating a production order manually to check.

  • Standard procedure of component Rejection in production Order

    Dear All,
I want to know what is the exactly standard procedure for posting rejection of component in production order?
Some points to be noted !
1).Rejection quantity is not constant. For example, material A can be rejected with 5 EA quantity or 20 EA quantity. so not a static quantity in BOM should be referred.
    2) For example, If m going to post rejection of semi finish material abc which exist in finished material BOM. Semi finish material abc contains another semi finish material in its bom. Then how rejection process should be catered in this scenario.
    Waiting for your kind responce
    Regards
    Ahmed

    Hi,
You can reject/scrap the semi finish material while it's operational confirmation e.g. by CO11N.
You can put the rejected quantity in scrap or if require to rework then put it into Rework field. See the fields in below screen snap of CO11N,
If your semi finish BOM include another semi finish then at any operational confirmation if is consumed then cost of it considered and ultimately the same is also rejected.

  • Update commitment quantity in production order

    Dear Expert,
I have a case which i have created a production order and it has created the reservation document for the material which is available. So when i run the missing part list, it will show which part is not available.
I have do some update on the missing part list stock, lets say i have GR for one of the missing component. But when i run the missing part list, it is still showing the same missing part list although this the component has been added to stock.
I have check the overview of component in Prod Order, the specific component committed quantity still not update although i have add the stock and and posted it before the requirement date.
Question is: how to update the missing part list?
    Regards,
    LY

    Lukas,
You can see the elements that are reducing your available stock in CO09.  Enter the matl number, plant, and the checking rule.  You will see the display.  The quantity you are interested in is the one at the right, ATP qty.
Hit the "all details" button.  Now, on the rows, you will see the details of all of the supply and demand elements that are contributing to your 'negative 1' qty.  In the column titled Rec/Reqd qty, there will be a minus sign for each requirement, and no sign for each supply element.  ATP uses its internal arithmetic to then calculate the ATP qty.
You can review which elements are being considered by hitting the 'scope of check' button.
It is hard to troubleshoot from a distance.  However, if you can give us details of the detailed CO09 display, we can probably point you in the right direction.
A common problem is is storage location.  If your prod order ATP is 'storage location specific' (this is common), and the stock and the requirements both exist in different storage locations, it can cause symptoms similar to the ones you have described.

  • Change quantity in production order

    Dear Expert,
I've done production order for multiplication last year with expected quantity 22.000 kg. This year we received from subcontractor 50.000 kg. Would you be so kind and advice the best way to updated this? It's allow to go to CO02 and change quantity from 22000 to 50000? I afraid because in component overview the component will change according to new qty but has to be the same. The GI 261 on this component was done last year
    Thanks in advance,
    doti_781

    Hi,
If you do not want the quantity to be changed, then tick the check box of Fixed Qty for each component, this will ensure that the qty will not increase or decrease when the header qty is changed.
    Hope it clarifies your query.
    Regards,
    Vivek

  • Change Alternative Item Quantity in Production  Order BOM

    Hi Gurus,
I woould like to ask how can I make the Alternative item quantity to become editable. As of now, the system will calculate the percentage in the BOM and default it in the Production order.
Now I have a requirement that in the Production order Change, the user can change the quantity of the Alternative Item based on the situation with out changing the BOM. Just change in the production order. What settings do i need to change?
    Thanks,
    Raymond

    Hi,
Can you let us know why you want the user to make the changes manually ?
Not in front of the system at the moment, but just do an Av. Check to see if you're able to get the switch if the stock situation has changed for the alternative items.
Based on what i know, the field will not be editable & there is no specific setting to make it editable.
    Regards,
    Vivek
